White 'Crawler Humanoid' Frightens Couple in Waupun, Wisconsin
A couple arrives home at night and begins to unpack the car. As they are doing so, the woman observes a white crawler humanoid and alerts her boyfriend. They then run to safety inside the house.
I recently came across the following account:
"My boyfriend and I used to live with his mom in a house in the city of Waupun, Wisconsin. The house was located off of a certain highway that takes you out of the city. There are literally no lights, so its quite dark at night.
He and I were driving home from my parent's house. When we got home, while we're unpacking the car, it's kind of eerie. My boyfriend isn't bothered, though I start to hear some really weird noises. Not like the ordinary woodsy creatures of the night. I just kind of shrugged it off.
My boyfriend is carrying stuff inside from the car and I'm in the car just getting our dog ready. That's when I see this hairless, I guess, white humanoid creature. But it's on all fours! I don't know if there were more than one of them. It moved really quick, really really quick! I told my boyfriend, "Hey, do you see those things?" and he says, "No, what things?" I'm looking right at the thing and I loudly, "THAT! THAT RIGHT THERE!" He still doesn't see it! Then, right as my boyfriend turns to the tall grass area we hear this screaming sound of like a rabbit being killed by something. Well, we book it and run inside!
When get in, right in front of the front door, if you walk to the opposite side of the house, there is a porch with a glass pane window. We both noticed it! This thing is on our wooden porch looking in through the glass door. We run to his mom's room and tell her what's going on.
She is versed in Native American culture and whatever, so she does his whole 'sage' the house thing and that seemed to make it disappear for the time being. So, we kind of just stayed most of the night, freaked out. We eventually fall asleep.
We wake up late morning, so we go back out to the car. There are these handprints on all the windows.
After that night it never came back. I would like to know what you think it was? It had no hair, very white humanoid on all fours. Could it have been a Wendigo?" WS
NOTE: Some experiencers think that these crawler humanoids are a Wendigo. Even though some of the characteristics are said to be similar, a Wendigo is an evil possession energy or force that is believed to transform a human into a murderous, cannibal fiend. We are still unsure what these crawler or white humanoids really are. We can only speculate at this point. Lon

Massive 'Winged Being' Observed by Startled Fisherman in Southwest Virginia
A fisherman in western Virginia notices a very large winged being on the high cliffs along the river. He then watches it suddenly leap, unfurl its huge wings and fly off around the bend.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
“My family has a large mountain property in western Virginia that dates back before the Civil War. About 7 years ago (around 2013) I was fishing at the still part of the river and upriver, to my left, are large cliff faces. As I was casting, I looked up and out of the corner of my eye I saw something large and black on the edge of the cliff. I just thought it was a black bear since they’re sort of common out there.
As I watched, this thing jumped off the cliff! It spread at least a 20-30 foot wingspan. As it did so, it hit the cliff face with its right wing. I saw a large chunk of limestone break off the cliff while it still flew over the river and rounded a bend. I was so scared I couldn’t move. I just watched in shock.
I then waited an hour until I gathered up the nerve to go and see if the fresh chunk of rock was in the river. I rode my ATV to where I thought it was, and low and behold there it was, white and gray, crumbled in the river with the bedrock.
No I’m not making this up and no I wasn’t on any medication. It happened and I still have no explanation for my experience. The property is in Virginia near the West Virginia border, so maybe the Point Pleasant sightings could be related? Still gives me goosebumps and chills when I recall that event. What I saw was larger than the Mothman that was described in the 1960s and could still be on that property. I only go out there around 2-3 times a year since its a 2.5 hour drive. So it could very well be out there. I’m not there enough to see it.” F
NOTE: From what I can decipher from the account, this most likely occurred along the New River near the Virginia / West Virginia border (Montgomery County, Virginia). The New River Gorge is well-known for its high vertical cliffs, especially in this location. Lon

Multiple 'Tall Pale Humanoid' Sightings & Encounters Surface in Sacramento, CA Area
A young woman describes two separate pale humanoid encounters, both occurring in the Sacramento, CA area. What are these beings and what do they want?
I recently came across the following account:
"This incident takes place in the Sacramento, CA area. It was about two years ago now. It was winter, night time, around 2 AM. I had just gotten off work but wasn’t ready to go home. So I had pulled over on the side of the road before turning into my neighborhood. On this street (Antelope North Road), there’s a suburban neighborhood to the right, and fields and trees to the left.
As I was sitting there, I saw a figure come out of the neighborhood a little less than a 1/4 mile ahead of where I was parked, approximately where the neighborhood park (Roseview Park) is. It was hard to see from that distance, but it appeared tall (7 to 8 feet), super skinny and bony, hunched over, with long arms. It sprinted across the road at a speed faster than I’ve ever seen a human go (I couldn’t guess the speed, but it was fast enough to concern me). If it wasn’t for its speed, I probably would have just assumed it was human and ignored it.
But anyways, it disappeared into the fields. Something calm came over me. I don’t know what it was but something was keeping me from panicking. I remember just feeling like “okay, it is time to leave now” and calmly driving home. It wasn’t until a few months later that I realized I had seen that and that it wasn’t normal.
Flash forward to a week ago. A friend and I were at that same park hanging out. As it got later into the night, we both started to feel more and more unwelcome there. We heard a inhuman guttural scream that sounded like it came from the area I saw that creature cross at. That’s not particularly incriminating, but as soon as I heard the scream, its apparent location made me think of the creature. I didn’t tell this to my friend as she is easily spooked, and I just tried to stay calm (didn’t want to let my fear get out of control).
We finally started the trek back to the car. As we left, we faced a dark area with lots of bushes and trees across from the sidewalk we were taking to get to the car. As soon as I faced that dark spot, I had the feeling of looking at a face. I didn’t literally see a face, but it was the FEELING of seeing a face. And it didn’t feel like a human face. It felt like something that understood what I was but didn’t understand why I was there, and wasn’t quite hostile but had the attitude of like “get out of my home.” Once again, I didn’t tell my friend that I saw that, not until we got in the car. Ever since then, I have not been able to shake the feeling that that face belonged to the same creature I saw two years ago.
Also, similar story but not the same. Last night I was driving in a wooded area near Sacramento (Loomis), and I saw a tall burly figure in the woods with a white face. Not white as in Caucasian, white as in stark white. I thought it was wearing a green shirt but I only saw it for a split second. It gave me such a bad uneasy feeling. I told the guy I was with what I saw and he didn’t tell me until later but he said hes heard rumors of people seeing “white walkers” in these woods that are described as tall and having white faces and black hair. I don’t know if he meant skinwalkers or what, but that’s what he said. I also felt like something was watching me in those woods later." MM
NOTE: It seems the witness encountered either crawler humanoids or something similar. This phenomenon is becoming more prominent and the reports are quite disturbing. The Sacramento area seem to be a particular hot spot for these sightings. Lon

Red-Eyed Winged Humanoid Encountered by Several Witnesses Near Chicago's Shedd Aquarium
Two women and several other witnesses encounter a red-eyed winged humanoid along the Lake Michigan at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium. The description closely resembles other sightings over the years.
The following report was received by Phantoms & Monster Fortean Research member and UFO Clearinghouse founder Manuel Navarette:
"I was out for our regular evening walk with my two friends along the lakefront trail. This was on June 3rd, 2021 at about 10 PM. We were at the museum campus and had just walked around the Adler Planetarium. As we took the path that goes around the backside of the Shedd Aquarium, we saw something ahead of us along the railing. We at first thought it might be someone just taking a break while walking or jogging. As we got closer we saw that it was perched up on the railing and that it was solid black. As we got to within 15-20 feet of it, it turned and we saw what looked like a pair of red eyes and that it had a pair of wings that were on it’s back. We stopped dead in our tracks and this thing started to make a chirping sound followed by a loud screech before it started to flap its wings and took off into the air. As it took off, we heard a scream that came from three women coming in the opposite direction as we were. This thing took off and was gone within a few seconds as it took off toward the Navy Pier. We stood there and caught our breath and got over the fright as did the other women. One of the ladies asked us if we saw the same thing she did and we told her we did. After waiting around for about five minutes to see if we could see it again, we continued on our walk and headed toward home.
I told my girlfriend when I got home and she told me that it might have been a large bird that was perched on the railing and its eyes might have been reflecting the lights. But she also told me about the “Mothman” sightings that have been seen throughout the city and joked around that we might have seen the Mothman himself. I initially laughed it off and dismissed it as a misidentified bird, but my curiosity eventually got the best of me and I looked up these sightings and that’s what led me to this site. I’m not one to believe in the oogey-boogey but this looked a lot more like a man-shaped being more than it did a bird. I just wished I could have gotten a picture of it. You never know, it might have been the legendary Chicago Mothman that I saw. Maybe he’s ready to come out to everyone and might even show up at Pride in the Park this year! The funny thing is, I’ve lived in the Loop for the last 10 years and we walk the same path 3-4 times a week, always the same path and have seen plenty of birds of all shapes and sizes.
Aside from the occasional homeless person or crackhead I’ve never seen anything out of the ordinary and I’ve never had an issue, even late in the evening. This was the first time I have ever encountered anything like this in all of my time living in the loop. We have reached out to the witness to set up a time to speak with her regarding her sighting. Further information will be posted as it becomes available. This is an initial sighting report and this case is currently under investigation and any conclusion as to the validity of this report is still pending.

Unknown 'Dark Humanoid' Encountered in Colorado's Front Range
Two female friends are in the Front Range of Colorado at night searching for a quiet spot to relax and party. During the time they have an encounter with an unknown humanoid figure.
The following account was forwarded to me:
"This started back in January 2020. I live on the Front Range of Colorado, meaning that once the mountains stop, it's basically plains for miles and miles. There are a lot of small roads and strange dead ends around these parts, and one of these is a favorite of me and my friends, as it goes a long way out from the main road, with basically no reason for anyone else to be there. This privacy is great for any variety of teenage shenanigans.
I was in the back of my friend's car as we drove down that road, hoping to park at the end. As I was staring out the window, I swore I could see the silhouette of a tall, strangely proportioned person running alongside our car. It was far out in the field, and I convinced myself it was just my mind playing tricks on me so that I wouldn't freak out, and I didn't tell my friends so it wouldn't bother them. We parked there for a few hours, lights off, and then went home with nothing else amiss.
Recently, I was headed back out to that spot with my girlfriend, both of us in separate cars. My drive up was pretty uneventful, but there was some fog that made it pretty spooky. Once we parked, my girlfriend hopped into my car and was obviously super freaked out. Once I got her to calm down, she told me what had happened.
On the drive up, she had looked out her window and seen a tall, dark humanoid figure EXACTLY like what I had seen 11 months earlier, but this time it was just standing there. Staring. As soon as she made eye contact with it, her car radio turned to static. She pretty quickly turned it off and hauled ass to meet up with me.
I cannot stress enough how little she believes in the supernatural, so seeing her as freaked out as she was definitely left me a little uneasy. I helped calm her down and then hopped out of the car to take a piss. (I know, literally the stupidest move ever, but at the time I hadn't remembered what had happened to me previously.) While I was out there, I definitely felt like something was watching me. But I'm generally an anxious person so I brushed it off, as I was only going to be out there for, like, 30 seconds. When I stood up and went back to my door, my girlfriend looked absolutely fucking terrified, and she was staring over my shoulder, not at me.
My first thought wasn't anything supernatural. We're both girls, so I assumed some creepy rapist had crawled out of the grass and was standing right behind me, waiting to hurt us. When I tell you I FLEW into the driver's seat, I really mean it. My flight reflex 100% took over. Once I slammed the door, I looked over at her and yelled "WHAT?" As far as I could tell, there wasn't anyone there.
She told me that she had heard faint, female voices coming from the grass, exactly like ours. We were in an open plain, so there was no way it was our echoes. Whatever was out there was mimicking us.
The mimicking is what did it for me, and I knew we had to leave ASAP, especially as I had deciphered my hazy memories of the last time I saw whatever it was. I didn't tell my girlfriend exactly what was wrong, just turned around so my headlights were on her car so she could get there quickly.
Once we were safely away, I called her and told her my thoughts. We're both pretty spooked right now, obviously!
What are your thoughts on this? What do you think it was? Also, let me know if there are any questions I can answer." MG
NOTE: If I had to guess, and this is a stretch, I'd say it may have been something similar to a crawler humanoid. The phenomenon comes in all forms and situations. I doubt that it was a thoughtform since the girlfriend was not aware of the previous sighting. Very interesting account. Lon

Reptilian Abduction: Implant & Experimentation
The following is a witness report that was originally posted on the MUFON CMS. I received some follow-up information later. Please note: the report makes reference to male genitalia. Be warned. The abductee seems sincere and states that he contacted others before filing with MUFON. It's an intriguing account:
Indiana - 12/10/2009: In December, I was working away from home on a 24 Jobsite Operation in Indiana. I resided in an apartment 20 miles from the job site in a adjacent small town. One night I went home at an odd hour for my shift, and instead of a 7 pm to 7 am shift, I worked till 3 am. I went back to my place, and was in bed an hour or so later.
The next thing I know, I woke up sometime just before the sun started rising after having an extremely intense dream. A dream that I was somehow abducted from my rented second floor apartment, and taken aboard a alien craft. Everything in my memory is very foggy but there are specifics that are quite vivid.
Unlike the abduction scenarios that I have heard of, I was brought aboard a ship (I have no idea how I got there) but felt at peace and calm. I wasn't forced into some examination, nothing was forced upon me.
Their faces are distorted in how I saw them at the time, and in my memory. Of the 4-5 aliens that might have been there in the room with me, I can only remember the face of one of them. A Reptilian type, or a race trying to disguise their appearance to me by looking Reptilian. But the one that I remember was looking intensely at me. It was big, probably 6 and a half feet tall, muscular, with a body suit over his chest that looked like metal, and like some superhero's costume. The suit outlined the strong pectorals and muscles of its abdomen. It looked very strong, as if it could pick me up and throw me a hundred yards. It was a light shade of green on the front, and the color darkened as it went to his backside. It's outfit was of a yellowish color. It was intense, no emotions on its face. But I could feel it being slightly hesitant towards the decision by the others to give me this mission. (obviously by now I have done enough research to look at photos/drawings and read up a little bit on different alien beings that are supposedly out there).
They spoke at length to me about some very important things, much of which I cannot recall. I am a pretty fervent mediator, and they asked me to do a 'standing mediation' for them, which a few seconds into it, they seemed pleased by what I could do. In the process of our discussion, I was asked to help them, fully given a choice. Apparently, I agreed to their mission and then they showed me to a stainless steel type of tub, and showed me this small yellow and blue submarine looking device. It was about an inch tall and 3 inches long, and with a push of a button a thin long spiraling wire came whirling a foot or more out of the tip of it. On the tip of the long wire was a scary looking triangular shaped barb. I was more amazed than shocked, then told to get into the tub that was full of some gelatinous mixture.
Though up to that point I had been calm, I was beginning to get rather nervous. I reluctantly got into the tub, and they put the little machine into the KY Jelly type substance and it slowly, but relentlessly, came at me. Once it was close enough to me, I tried to push it away with my hands but it just kept coming. I had a undeniable feeling that it was trying to get to my 'johnson'. Once the thing was close, I have a blackout in my memory.
The next thing that I remember is that I am out of the tub, away from it and back to being calm. They are telling me to ready myself to go back and that they will erase my memory of the incident. I was confused as to why they wouldn't want me to remember everything that I was supposed to do. They told me to look for a sign in the sky, then they gave me the idea that memories of this event should eventually come back, and even more info would possibly come back with time.
The next thing I know I am back in my apartment. I woke up slowly, I wasn’t startled or even thinking about the dream though I knew I had dreamed. I then had a cigarette, and went to the bathroom to urinate. While standing there in the bathroom light, I notice something peculiar on my 'johnson,' but thought it to be a regular old vein or something...but when I touched it, it felt hard like a thin steel cable, about a 1 mm thick. It seemed to be about 2 inches long. (I was to investigate further in the coming days and find out that it is much longer, even going under my pelvis bone) I was perplexed by it, but thought that I was not going to do anything about it at the moment, so I might as well try to sleep and deal with it later. I'd keep an eye on it as I wasn't at home and didn't want to go to any doctors round that area. I went back to bed, as I felt exhausted.
Upon falling asleep, I had a dream, a very vivid color dream. In the past I have had a good handful of vivid dreams (dreams of my wife before we met, the death of a cousin, etc) and this dream was of that caliber in detail to me. I wont bore you with the details, but let’s just say that the government and the feds were after me, and it might have been tied to me having this mechanism looked at by a doctor or untrustworthy person. I have a wife and a family...I cannot put them in jeopardy over this.
But it doesn't end there. When I woke in a cold sweat from the dream of being tracked and chased down, I kept hearing this noise outside my apartment door. I actually heard the noise earlier when I had been up before, but was so tired then, that nothing could have stopped me from sleeping. But now, as I tried to go back to sleep, the noise was irritating. So I opened the door to my apartment to see the two large windows at the top of the stairs were totally pulled open. This is on what must have been the coldest, windiest night during the Winter. I found it very odd, but made no particular connection to anything. By now the alien dream I had prior was not even something I was thinking about...like any old dream one might have.
So here is where the last string from this life changing night gets tied. That next night at work, when I plugged my computer in and went to my Yahoo home page, there was a headline that immediately stood out at me. I clicked on it. It happened to be the Norway spiral clip that had just happened on Dec 10. While I watched this clip, I was suddenly frozen with shock, flushed with fear, and remembered that I was to see a 'sign in the sky'. Seeing the, at that time unexplained incident, suddenly had me remembering the odd implant in my 'johnson' and the upstairs windows that were oddly flung open in the middle of the night, along with the crazy dream/abduction I had experienced.
So there is the story of that night. There is actually much more to the story, but I'd like to at least make contact with you, before I go more into more detail.

UPDATE:
As far as what this 'thing' in my 'johnson' does, I'm still not sure though all sorts of unexplainable things have been happening. One of which is that I no longer get sick. In fact many ailments that I had previously, persistent heartburn, gastritis, even 2 bad teeth that needed crowns have disappeared. My wife has been sick twice, and even while being with her all day, I have not caught her sicknesses. The one constant, is that this implant is still there, ever present. Though in a way, I am doing my own studies of how this affects me, I would entertain the idea of having some trustworthy people do some examination of it. Nothing too crazy like trying to remove it. I fear it would be impossible to do without endangering my life.
What I can tell you, is that it wraps round the tip of my 'johnson,' and must go all the way back to my spine, because a week after first getting the implant, I suffered from horrible almost debilitating lower back pains for a month. The back pains then simply vanished, and I have yet to have any since. I recently went to a urologist to have the implant examined, but oddly enough, the implant has slowly been sinking deeper into the flesh and is now almost undetectable unless my 'johnson' happens to be in an 'excited' state. Most particularly, the day I went to the doctor, the implant was seemingly gone. The urologist couldn't feel anything, and to his knowledge what I explained to him didn't make medical sense. Yet, later that night while having intercourse with my wife, sure enough, there it was again. She doesn't seem to mind it.
NOTE: I attempted to make further contact with the abductee approximately 3 months after my initial contact. The email address had been closed. I traced a residential address associated with the email. No one was living at the address as of October 2010. No forwarding information was available. Lon

The man who inaugurated the “Age of Flying Saucers,” civilian pilot Kenneth Arnold of Boise, Idaho, when interviewed by a reporter from the Portland, Oregon, Journal (17 October 1975), stated that he was more convinced than ever that the nine UFOs he reported as flying in formation over Mt. Rainier in Washington State on 24 June 1947 were “something real.” At the time of the interview, Arnold had turned 60 years old and had grown somewhat wary of media. Arnold expressed concern that a synopsis of his views, if unaccompanied by an extensive background on the subject of flying saucers, would make him “sound like a crackpot.”
To assuage his fears, the reporter said that he could present Arnold with written questions so that the flying saucer pioneer could take his time and write out all of his answers. Arnold agreed to these terms. Arnold informed the Portland reporter that, “I got into this thing (ufology) by accident; and I’ve been bugged about it for 30 years. I have never tried to exploit this subject and I don’t want to be exploited.”
Arnold remarked that, “These things (unexplained aerial phenomena) have never really been investigated.” Despite the alleged “scientific” conclusions arrived at in the so-called Air Force-sponsored “Condon Report” on UFOs conducted at the University of Colorado at Boulder and published in 1969, Arnold expressed little respect for the final document. “Flying saucer is a misnomer, of sorts,” explained Arnold, adding that, “Most of these objects are raffe-shaped. They look something like the axes that were used to behead people back in the Middle Ages.”
Since making the famous 24 June 1947 report, Arnold had five other occasions in which he encountered UFOs. Based on these observations, he has developed his own theory about the true nature of the objects: That UFOs are not spacecraft, but are themselves living organisms. “It’s the way they move,” explained the experienced pilot. “It’s more like something alive than a mechanical craft. The Air Force never released the best pictures of these things. They have a spot in the middle that pulsates like a heart.”
As far as the implications of this theory, Arnold was asked by the reporter, “How does a living organism do what UFOs do?”
“I don’t know. I have no answers,” Arnold honestly replied. “It’s a mystery; just as it is a mystery why the grass grows or a mystery how Christ walked on the water.”
Arnold felt that he needed to clarify the last statement, so he commented that, “I’m not bringing religion into this. I’m not a religious man, in the conventional sense.”
Two days after Arnold’s historic sighting of nine “saucer-like objects” flying at a high speed in the vicinity of Mt. Rainier in the Cascade Range, the Associated Press ran the above national wire story as printed in the Montreal Gazette (Quebec, Canada) on 26 June 1947. The story gets a couple of facts in the case wrong: Kenneth Arnold was a fire extinguisher salesman who was returning from a business trip when he spotted the UFOs; and Mt. Rainier is located in the state of Washington, not Oregon.

Chile's 'El Chupacabras' Rampage During Spring 2000
In Chile, during the year 2000, there were a slew of cryptid sightings and encounters. El Chupacabras and humanoid / mothman-like creatures were reported nationwide. Most of the accounts occurred in April through June.
Calama, Chile - April 2000 - night
A witness riding his bicycle was passing by the local Lion's Club building, when he heard a groan and stopped to see what had happened. On the side of the building, he saw a dead dog in the grass, and next to it, a pair of large shining eyes. The eyes were so shiny that the witness could not make out any detail of the creature's body. Suddenly the creature lifted the dead dog with its hands, and in the wink of an eye was only 10 meters away from the witness, after being 50 meters away a second before. Shocked the witness quickly pedaled away stunned as to the manner that the creature moved.

Prat de Calama and Tocopilla, Chile - April 24-26, 2000 - after midnight
Eight young locals looking for the reputed blood predator in the local hills saw a strange short creature apparently covered with hair make a prodigious leap then run into a nearby cave, near the River Loa.
A few nights later, several locals living on the slopes of a hill saw a strange entity quickly climbing up the side of the hill at incredible speed. It moved up on practical vertical cliffs using reptilian like movements, it seemed to expand as if possessing dark wing-like membranes on its back that apparently propelled it up the cliffs. Once it reached the summit, the witnesses began hearing strange growling and screeching sounds coming from the area.

Tucapel Chile - April 29, 2000 - 8:00pm
Farm worker Jose Ismael Pino was looking for a loose wild bull when he came upon a four-foot tall creature, simian in appearance, with long clawed arms, enormous fangs protruding from its mouth, as well as a pair of wings. Scared he ran to fetch some dogs that attacked the creature. One of the dogs came back with a bloodstained neck.

Maria Elena, Chile - May 6, 2000 - 5:00am
Three men that had been driving a refrigerated truck had stopped at a local truck stop in order to obtain some rest. As the driver turned off the truck's engine and lights, they all noticed that the truck seem to tilt slightly to the right, and its lights began blinking on and off. Stunned they now saw behind the right side passenger window a strange figure, described as having abundant hair; an elongated oval shaped head, with several protruding fangs in his mouth, and with large yellowish slanted eyes. It also had large pointy ears and what appeared to be pig-like whiskers. The creature remained a few moments at the window, then left. The terrified witnesses quickly drove away from the area. Strange marks were found on the truck's cabin.

Santa Elena de Codao, Chile - May 7, 2000 - 11:00pm
33-year old, G Alejandro Canales was returning back to his home after guarding his rabbit pens. As he took a short cut through an unlit alley he felt something fall on his back. He struggled with the "thing" and managed to shine a flashlight on it. He was stunned to see a short simian looking creature, with large pointy fangs, black fingernails, large golden luminous eyes, and dark leathery wings on its back. He also felt a strong musty odor during the encounter. The creature quickly scurried away disappearing into the darkness. Others found the witness in a state of shock upon hearing his screams. Deep scratches were found on Canales body.

Near Calama, Chile - May 8, 2000 - unknown
According to various sources, Chilean military units in an area near the desert captured three strange creatures, reported to be blood predators or the unfortunately named "Chupacabra." On May 12 at 0627A a Boeing 767 arrived from Miami at Arturo Merino Benitez Airport. It was flight number 501, later a Boeing 767 from Air Lan also arrived at the airport. These supposedly brought special containers clearly marked NASA. Both aircraft then left enroute to Calama at 0800A. The captured creatures were then transferred to special flights that left towards an unknown destination.

Near Calama Chile - May 10, 2000 - night
A soldier stationed near the city reported seeing a strange creature that was able to make incredible leaps and bounds at times seemingly suspended in mid-air. He described the entity as about 1.20m tall, kind of hairy, and sort of hunchbacked. A patrol was supposedly sent after it. Supposedly the patrol found some strange "eggs" that they brought back to the barracks. Later another patrol reportedly killed two of the creatures and captured a third. It is said that NASA personnel retrieved all three creatures.

Sierra Gorda, Calama, Chile - May 14 2000 - 5:00am
Several security guards posted at the entrance to La Minera El Tesoro spotted several moving figures in the nearby brush. Upon shining their flashlight at the creatures they could tell that they were simian in appearance and moved using incredible leaps and bounds at very high speed. One of the creatures stood up on two legs and it measured about 1.60m in height. It had large glowing yellow eyes and its body was covered with thick hair. The next day the men found a dead dog, which was missing all its organs.

Tocopilla and Los Arenales, Sierra Gorda, Chile - May 25-26, 2000 - night
Local residents heard strange howling and screeching noises in the area, at the same time that several domesticated rabbits were found dead and completely bloodless. Another resident in Magallanes street saw a strange humanoid, with large bright yellowish eyes, that seemed to have a kind of hypnotic affect on him. Another resident saw a similar being standing on top of some rocks.
The next night, a young couple was parked in an isolated area making out, when suddenly a humanoid figure, covered with hair and with large luminous reddish yellowish eyes appeared in front of the vehicle. The young woman then received an apparently telepathic message from the creature, telling her to open the car door and step outside. She was about ready to open to door when she suddenly realized what she was doing. The panicked couple attempted to start the vehicle in order to leave, but could no move their legs. Finally they were able to move and drove away from the area.

Tocopilla, Chile - May 30, 2000 - 2:00am
Local residents living next to the Tocopilla hills were suddenly awaken by strange loud noises. At first they thought it was a person climbing the hill, but after observing it in greater detail, they realized that, whatever they were seeing, not only was not human; it was something they have never seen before. It was a creature that was climbing the hill very rapidly despite the seventy to eighty degrees steep. They described the being as very agile and fast, making reptilian like movements like a small lizard. The creature appeared to be much bigger than a condor, brown in color, with bright red eyes and what appeared to be feathers throughout its body. It emitted loud quack like noises that were heard every night for a couple of weeks, causing dogs to bark and howl at night.

Baquedano, Chile - May 30, 2000 - 6:00am
37-year old Evelyn Esbry woke up early in the morning in order to use the toilet facilities located outside in the terrace. On her way there she heard sounds coming from the patio area. Suddenly an entity jumped on her back, paralyzed with fear she turned around to see a bizarre hairy creature, with a large nozzle, about 4-feet tall, and with large luminous orange, oval shaped eyes. Terrified, Evelyn fainted and did not see the creature depart. She suffered from shock and was treated at the local hospital for deep scratches. The victim told local paramedics that the creature seemed to communicate with her, using telepathy telling her not to scream.

Quillota, Chile - May 31, 2000 - midnight
A local villager heard a loud commotion on the roof of his house. Upon investigating he was confronted by a strange creature that was standing on the roof. He described it as looking like a centaur without a nose, about 90 cm in height. The creature then jumped to a nearby ravine and vanished. The next day the body of a completely bloodless dog was found.

Last week saw another rash of Chupacabra attacks in Chile. Eyewitnesses also sighted two weird humanoid creatures, said to be Chupacabras, near the city of Concepcion,located 300 kilometers (180 miles) south of Santiago de Chile, the national capital.
The new round of Chupacabra incidents began Wednesday, April 12, 2000 in the small town of Tucapel, in Bio Bio province just east of Concepcion. Witnesses reported that "a large bunch of dried brambles were crushed by a strange luminous phenomenon."
On Saturday, April 29, 2000, Jose Ismael Pino, 59, a farm worker employed at the Esperance Ranch two kilometers (one mile) east of Huepil, near Tucapel, had a face-to-face meeting with the Chupacabra.
Leaving the barn at 8 p.m., Pino explained, "There was a large bull running wild. I was walking along when I saw something, and I thought that was it. 'Hey, damned bull!' I shouted, and then I saw that it wasn't. It hardly moved. It just stood there, looking at me. It stood about 1.5 meters (four feet) tall, like a big monkey, with long clawed arms, enormous fangs protruding from its mouth, as well as a pair of wings. I was so scared I turned and ran back for the hounds. I set them all loose and let them chase after 'The Bird.' Cachorro (one of the dogs--J.T.) came back with a bloodstained neck."
"Pino's boss, Jorge Venegas, owner of the 75-acre farm, carries a loaded shotgun on his shoulder."
"Venegas, on his part, lets his employees leave early, since they are fearful of walking around at night, and he himself since the night of the luminous phenomena in Tucapel, has slept with his shotgun beside him."
"'We don't know what we're dealing with here. I'm not so concerned about the attacks on the animals, but I have two children, 12 years old and 15 years old, and I'm not going to let anything happen to them. In fact, right now I'm going to get a floodlight to see at night, in case something weird shows up,' explained the planter, hefting the shotgun to his right shoulder."
Farms in the Huepil-Tucapel area "were affected by the alleged predator, which killed four sheep on one farm and a cow on another."
However, not everybody believes that the the Chupacabra is the culprit. The manager of the Raul Perez farm told the newspaper Cronica, "Years ago, we had a (wild) dog problem. They managed to kill 70 sheep one single night, but we gave it no further importance at the time."
On Tuesday night, May 2, 2000, Carabineros (Chile's national police--J.T.) from the cuartel (barracks) in Santa Fe reported that "eight sheep, all of them pregnant, had been attacked by an unknown animal, which had left them half-dead, making it necessary to put them down."
The attacks were "blamed on wild dogs. Subofficer Alviro Valdebenito of the Santa Fe barracks further added that a characteristic of these dogs is that they are barkless."
Lt. Walter Koch of the Huepil Carabineros stated, "No, there were no reports about it (Chupacabra--J.T.) whatever. We don't even have pumas in this sector, and only in the pre-Cordillera ranges will you find foxes. The only predator of the type we've had are Siberian dogs which have feasted on some chickens."
"Carlos Villalobos, a schoolteacher in Huepil, said, 'I think it's linked to some unknown life-form, possibly alien in origin, but the authorities take the position of not acknowledging it, and they are probably very justified, since a collective panic situation could be unleashed.'"
The Chupacabra attacks continued without letup.
On Wednesday, May 3, 2000, "at 1:30 a.m., professor Liliana Romero Castillo slept soundly in her apartment located at Laguna Redonda in Concepcion, when she was awakened by the barking of the five stray puppies she had picked up some time earlier." The Puppies were living "in the building courtyard with Black, her large, fierce mastiff."
"'I crouched and looked through the window. The puppies were whining, and Black had cowered against the wall and was motionless. I could see the back of what appeared to be an immense man, standing more than two meters (6 feet, 8 inches) tall. The shoulder blades were split, as if he had wings. Its attitude (posture--J.T.) recalled that of a person choking another. That was my impression,' said Sra. Romero."
"Concerned that a crime was taking place in her garden, she woke her husband, who gave the matter little attention. 'I'm not getting up,' he said, half-asleep."
Sra. Romero returned to the window to get another look at the creature, but by then it was gone.
"The following day (Thursday, May 4, 2000) Liliana sent her children out to buy groceries at the local store. using a shortcut located behind their building. Upon their return, they told their mother that they had seen 'a dead dog'" in the alleyway.
Liliana asked her husband to check, and he returned saying that a wooly, beige-colored dog was lying on the ground with two puncture marks in the throat."
'I don't know if I might be in a suggestive state,' he said, 'But it had two deep holes in its jugular (vein), about the size of a Bic pen, separated by five centimeters between them. What impressed me the most was the way the body was completely bloodless and was as light as a feather. The dog was incredibly wooly (furry--J.T.) and in fact I had to move the fur to see the puncture marks.'"
Summoned by Liliana, a team of Carabineros arrived at the crime scene and took custody of the dog's body. They loaded the dog into a black plastic garbage bag and "ordered the family to remain silent, so as not to panic the local residents."
"'But I'm scared,' Liliana said, 'Since I have very young children, and I'm afraid that whatever was there will come back.'"
The Carabineros took the dead dog to the First Comissariat in Concepcion so it could be autopsied by pathologists.
The same day, May 4, 2000, "35 dead birds were found on a ranch 12 kilometers (7 miles) from Pucon on the road leading to the village of Caburuga. The animal attacks, attributed to the mythical Chupacabras, presented the same characteristics as the earlier attacks. (See UFO Roundup, volume 5, number 17 for details) since the dead chickens had cuts and scratches on different parts of their bodies.."
Capt. Roberto Saldivia, deputy chief of the Pucon Carabineros, "confirmed that the animals were found dead in a pen, without a single drop of blood in them."
"Cesar Hidalgo, regional director of Servicio Agricola y Ganado (Chile's Agricultural and Livestock Service--J.T.). explained that SAG professionals were at the scene" in Caburuga and would investigate further. NASA Experiments Gone Wrong?
Chilean Chupacabra watchers remain suspicious, and the case continues. In June of 2000, Chilean newspapers printed accusations from Chilean "UFOlogists" — people who study unidentified flying objects in the same northern deserts where Calama lies — of Chilean military officials finding three "Chupacabra eggs" and even catching the animal itself. The Chupacabra material was then turned over to NASA, according to Chilean press accounts. Radio programs in Chile have also accused the American space agency of creating the Chupacabra in a lab in the first place, while conducting genetic tests in the Chilean desert on mandrills, an animal similar to the baboon.
NASA denies the charge with more annoyance than amusement. "Before this it was the face on Mars, and before that it was modifying the weather, before that we were beaming radiation from satellites to make people impotent," says a decidedly weary-sounding NASA spokesman, Brian Welch. "Before that they were saying we faked the moon landing." Welch suggests the Chupacabra is blamed on NASA because the space agency is the last place anyone in Chile would think to call and ask about it.
"If you were persuaded to believe that sort of thing, you'd blame the last person you would go to for confirmation of it. I mean, people who believe this sort of thing certainly aren't beating down the door to ask us about it."

The Chupacabra Attacks
El Chupacabra has been crawling all over Chile in the last few months, raising many new questions about this mysterious creature, and resulting in astonishing claims about its origin.
It stands three to four feet tall, has a flexible row of spines down its back, eyes that glow red and long, sharp fangs... some even say it has wings. This is how eyewitnesses have described the strange, unworldly creature known as El Chupacabra - Spanish for "the goat sucker." The creature, as elusive as Bigfoot and as terrifying as a demon, earned its name from the way it kills its victims (mostly farm animals, including goats) - by sucking the life blood from them.
Chupacabra first made the headlines in 1995, when several attacks were reported in Puerto Rico. The small island still claims the most number of attacks to date, but slaughtered chickens, ducks, goats, cats, dogs and other small animals have been attributed to Chupacabra in Mexico, Central America, South America and even parts of the Southern United States.
During April, May and June of 2000, however, there were reports of a spate of attacks coming out of Chile. The mysterious deaths of farm animals followed the same pattern as those in Puerto Rico and other countries, and descriptions from eyewitnesses who claim to have actually seen the creature in Chile match the hideous features detailed in previous accounts.
The animal victims had incisions in their throats and their blood had been sucked out... blood-curdling sounds were heard in the dark.
The stories that came out of Chile - many reported in Chilean newspapers - had an incredible twist. A few of the dreaded creatures, they said, were actually caught and killed... and then their bodies were taken away by representatives of U.S. government agencies. That was the claim, anyway.
The Attack Begins
The recent attacks began in April, and newspapers carried stories of the mysterious deaths of close to 200 goats, sheep, chickens and rabbits in northern Chile. At first the deaths were blamed on packs of wild dogs, but one trademark feature of the killings turned the suspicion on the legendary Chupacabra. The respected Reuters news agency reported that some of the animal victims "had incisions in their throats and their blood had been sucked out." The report also said that "detectives swept the zone with night vision equipment and that blood-curdling sounds were heard in the dark, causing residents not to venture outside."
Victor Espinosa, an investigator for Chile's Ecology Department, was said to take hair samples and footprint castings for examination. "The paw prints do not match those of horses, cows, goats, pigs, felines or wild dogs," Espinosa said. And, according to Dr. Virgilia Sanches-Ocejo of the Miami UFO Center, Espinosa also said that evidence shows that the animal walks on two legs and only attacks hot-blooded animals and not snakes or lizards of the region.
The Capture
In late May / early June, rumors surfaced that three of the creatures had actually been captured. Reported chiefly by Marcial Campos Maza of the Chile's EFE news service and by Joseph Trainor of UFO Roundup in the U.S. among others, the stories claimed that three of the creatures had been caught in the desert near a mine just north of the town of Calama. In the struggle to capture the Chupacabras, they said, one Chilean soldier had been killed. The Chilean military allegedly would not discuss the matter.
More bizarrely, after the little monsters had been held in an army barracks for several hours, a team of NASA representatives arrived by helicopter from the U.S. (closing the local airport, according to one story) and took them away. How it was assumed that these people were from NASA is unclear, as is where the notion came from that NASA - the U.S. space agency - would have jurisdiction over such a matter, if it were a fact.
"Residents of Calama and nearby communities continued to blame NASA for the apparitions and attacks of the mysterious Chupacabras," Maza reported, "which has killed many farm animals in the region and other parts of Chile... their bodies completely exsanguinated and undevoured by the mysterious predator. It was said that the captured animal was kept all day at the regiment's barracks until NASA experts arrived to take it away."
Why NASA? Some residents believe that the deadly Chupacabras are the result of some diabolical genetic experiments gone awry by NASA, or some other U.S. agency. "The gringos had at least three genetic experiments run away from them," one respected Chilean architect was quoted as saying, but it was not disclosed how he came upon such information.
The Chupacabra Strikes Back
It seemed El Chupacabra was not pleased with having a few of its kind carted away. A new rash of animal killings started to occur in early June. In the backyard of a home in the port city of Talcahuano, 14 chickens were mysteriously slaughtered on June 4 - and Chupacabra was blamed. A few days later, the newspaper Diario El Sur ran a story about another attack in the city of Concepcion:
The strange case took place around 4 a.m. while Julio Reyes and his wife, Carmen Andrade, were still asleep. They suddenly heard a loud noise coming from their home's back yard, a kind of small farm in which they have a henhouse and a garden containing tomato, potato, chocla and pepper plants. "The light outside the henhouse was on. I saw the monster flapping his wings fiercely while the hens were crowing - something they never do at this time. That's when I saw the white one running toward the back. At this time, Bobby [the family's dog] came out to take a look, but when he saw the back gate, through which the hens had fled, he refused to follow and remained standing still. He then ran toward the street gate and began barking," explained Carmen, who did not witness the events herself out of fear that the intruder might be a burglar. "Bobby became sort of dopey and turned back. He didn't dare go forward," Julio said. Around 7 a.m., the couple discovered what had transpired. In the very rear of the backyard - which can only be reached by crossing two gates - their three hens and one rooster were found dead, completely torn to shreds, as if they had been ripped open at the chest cavity and scattered in a 10-meter (33-foot) radius. It is worth noting that the house's entrance is a gate covered with chicken wire."
Chile's national police blamed the attack on wild dogs, but Reyes did not accept that explanation. "Based on several paw prints found on the site," the newspaper article continued, "twice the size of Bobby's, the owner was not satisfied with the explanation, given the difficulty a dog would have had in getting into the area." Also, Reyes said he had previous experiences with dogs attacking his chickens, and they took the chickens away one by one to eat them, they did not slaughter them in this manner.
Two days later, another report was called in to a local radio station. The caller, from the city of Antofagasta, claimed to have actually seen the Chupacabra. He said he was awakened by strange noises his cat was making. When he got up to investigate, the creature saw him and "took off at high speed." He claimed that the Chupacabra had virtually destroyed his car by making deep scratches in it with its claws. And it killed the cat.
Certainly, this is not the last we'll hear of Chupacabra. The attacks might die down in Chile, but the nasty little creature will surface again somewhere else. It might be a good idea to keep all your goats and chickens securely locked up.

Incredible 'Bizarre Entity' Encounter Near Mansfield, Ohio in 1973
In 1973, near Mansfield, Ohio, a boy and his friends are picking black raspberries, when they suddenly realize that they are being chased by a bizarre entity after observing a silver orb in the field.
The following account was recently posted on the MUFON CMS:
"It started out as a nice day in 1973. Mom was paying 50 cents for a small quart size bucket of black raspberries so I had recruited two of the other kids in the neighborhood, Dwight Vanover and Tim Mitchel to help pick. We had been picking in a field about three hundred yards in back of the house for probably a couple of hours. The field we were picking in might have been a cleared field at one time but now it hosted huge berry bushes and a ton of small brush like trees could be found sticking up about ten or fifteen feet. These were all small trees though with the larger older trees along an old fallen over fence row that bordered the field.
We were actually out beyond my folk’s back yard off to the side of another mowed yard. To get out there we had walked about halfway down the neighbor’s back yard then cut over the fence and gone a couple of hundred feet out into the field to get to the best bushes. We had already each filled our buckets at least once and were trying desperately to fill them once more before sunset. As far as mom knew I wanted the money to go buy a pop at the Lawson’s store downtown but I was really planning on going to the liquor store and buy a pack of cigarettes. I knew they’d let me buy them because I had done it for my dad in the past. They didn’t even bother to take the note that dad had given me to give to them, so I still had it and planned to use it again.
The sky had darkened quite a bit but we were determined to get that last bucket done. I was farthest out in the field toward the center when I saw something strange in front of me. It was a silver ball, but I have no idea how big it was. It could have been hundreds of feet or inches across, or it could have been the size of a basketball. I really didn’t know.
If it hadn’t been moving, I might not even have seen it there in amongst the weeds, but it began moving in a very strange pattern. From where I was standing it looked exactly like it was bouncing along the top of the berry bushes from left to right. I remember thinking at the time and still remembering it that way today as being like the little bouncing ball that used to appear on the television, when there were words for a song shown and it was going in time with the music.
I didn’t know what it was, but I had thought maybe it was a ball that had been thrown or perhaps a frisbee on its side glancing off objects. But we were out in the field away from anyone else and in that direction there was nothing, but more berry bushes, trees and fields. Although there are buildings in that direction now, at that time there wasn’t.
I called the rest of the guys over and told them about what I had seen. Tim was skeptical and made a few wisecracks about me wearing glasses but Dwight made me go over every detail. He wanted to know what it was and even started to go that way even though the bush was very thick and he literally had to make a path. I would have already gone that way further to get berries, but the way was blocked. Dwight was a tough one and began pushing his way through.
It was really getting dark by now and a beautiful red sunset began to spread out among the clouds. Dwight was still pressing into the bushes, but hadn’t gone very far when we began to hear a sound. There was the sound of something coming through the weeds at us. It sounded heavy and quiet. There was just the sound of berry branches being crushed and occasionally a popping, or snapping as a small tree would go over.
The bushes around us were tall, taller than us and we couldn’t really see what was going on, or what direction it was coming from. But one thing we knew for sure, it was getting a lot louder. It had increased in volume so much so quickly that I yelled to everyone to run and we all ran as fast as we could to the tree line that marked the edge of the field.
I remember we all burst out of the weeds at about the same time. It was a relief to be standing on mowed grass even though we were still so far from the house. Then we heard it again. It was still coming our way and by that time we were very scared. Everyone took off running again, with me being in the back. We only had to go about fifty feet to get to the edge of my folks back yard but it was getting darker by the second.
Tim was still in front of me but I think Dwight veered off to go around the other side of the house to make a sprint for his house across the street, while Tim and I tried going for the front door of my house. Tim and I were still carrying the buckets we had been collecting berries in but as I reached the corner of our backyard Tim stopped and turned back toward me. I know I felt good about that, I can recall, because he could have kept going but he didn’t. When he caught sight of me, I caught his eye, but then the woodpile next to me started making sounds. Mostly these were branches that had been thrown there over a long period of time. Some were small others were a couple of inches in diameter. In all, the pile was about chest high to me and had settled becoming denser over time.
As soon as the noise started, Tim dropped his bucket and took off running, but I hesitated. This was my yard, surely it wouldn’t come into my yard. Then the wood pile made some loud cracking noises and that’s when I saw it. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. I have seen things that remind me of it though and every time, I’m thrown back even now the gulf of fifty years to look once again at it. If it had hair it was in coils atop its head and being in the glare of the sunset with the sun going down behind it the thing looked for all the world to have an exposed brain. The convolutes of its head were all highlighted in red while most everything else was shadowed to black.
Its eyes were strange and seemed lidless and overlarge with something like goggles over them. Those I could only see highlights of as most of it was totally hidden in shadow.
Of its mouth and that area, I couldn’t see anything. But lower down I could see an extremely thin neck. It looked segmented like flexible conduit pipe and tinted the ruddy red of the setting sun. Once it came up above the woodpile I got one solid look, but it was fast. It had stuck its head up so fast, it was there at least a second before I dropped my bucket and took off running after Tim.
So great was my fright at that point that I caught up and almost passed Tim as we came up to the side of the house. Mom was in the kitchen as we came bursting through the door, but didn’t scold us when she saw the fright on our faces.
Right away she called the Vanovers to see that Dwight had made it safely home. After we all calmed down Tim insisted he was okay to ride his blue stingray down the street to his house, if mom and I would come out and watch him ride home. Our road did have streetlights so we could see him a he pedaled home as fast as he could, then later we talked on the phone for a while.
The next day my dad called me back to the woodpile. There was my berry bucket where I had dropped it, but it was the woodpile he wanted to show me. The pile was almost broken in two with both sides looking as though they had been grasped and ripped apart. My dad gave me one of those weird looks and asked if I was sure I didn’t do that, but at the look on my face he just left it be. My dog was also in the back yard at the time. I don’t remember hearing her bark the whole time we were out there, although she wasn’t one of those “barking” dogs. Needless to say I was careful to feed the dog in the daytime for quite a while.
What happened to me sent me down a path. One thing to consider. When we were out in the field it was light enough to see to pick berries. However, at a dead run, for young boys, after about maybe 300 or 400 feet from where we were picking to the corner of the back yard it became the last vestiges of sunset. It wasn't until years later that I considered it and actually sat outside and waited between the two. I came up with a twenty minute lapse of time. So there is also a missing time element there too.
I didn't write this up until many years later, but it haunts my dreams. A while later Mansfield, Ohio was hit with a huge UFO flap.
Something else was in the description of the...thing. It was the speed of it popping up in the wood pile. Once, many years later, I was watching Star Wars when they were trapped in the garbage thing and the head of that worm-like thing popped up. Although the head was different I had an immediate flashback. The head was overlarge for the neck and the sunset was behind it causing it to have red light all around it. Because I only looked long enough to register what it was I only caught a glimpse of a head that had corrugations on top. Something like the convolutes of the brain or perhaps dreadlocks with the red light shining down on it.
For a very young boy it has been the thing of nightmares for around fifty years. I just felt it was time to tell this." MUFON

Mysterious Loud 'Pipe Organ' Sounds Heard On Ontario Lake
A group of family and friends are in separate boats on a lake in the west central wilderness of Ontario, Canada when all of them hear what sounds like loud pipe organ notes emanating from all directions.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"I live in northern Indiana and I have a true story I would like to share with you. We have a cabin about 300 miles NNW of Thunder Bay in the west central wilderness of Ontario, Canada. We drive until the road stops then take a float plane to our cabin. My Dad built our cabin in 1968 and we go up 3 times a year. The end of May, mid-July and early Sept.
One Fall trip, 20 or so years ago now, we wanted to portage to a different lake. In the spring and fall if the weather was cool we would go after some Lake Trout. If I had to take a guess, I have been on that lake 30 to 40 times now. We are the only cabin on our lake and there are no cabins on this lake. We have 3 small boats we just leave on that lake because we go there so often. We had 6 men in 3 boats that day.
We all kind of went our own way and started fishing. It was maybe 4 hours later (around 2 or 3 pm) all 3 boats meet back up in the middle of the lake and we all killed our engines and started to eat our lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day with no clouds and the lake went completely flat, no wind at all.
Ok, now this is the part where you are going to think I'm nuts, so here I go. The first sound came from our north (the way back to our lake). The best way I can describe it was someone holding a note on a freaking pipe organ. The notes were perfect not flat or anything like that. The notes would last maybe 5 to 8 seconds. That's a long time to hold a perfect note. When the one would die out, another would start from a different shore at a higher or lower note but all just perfect and sounded like a pipe organ. All the sounds were just single notes, we never heard 2 different notes at the same time. This lasted for maybe 15 or 20 minutes. We all 6 were hearing 20+ pipe organs play single notes around a lake with no cabins in the Canadian wilderness. The notes were loud and with no wind. The land was no more the 400 yards away in any direction. The notes would echo around a bit. My brother did not want to make the portage, so he stayed in our lake cabin with one of my uncles.
Later, back in our cabin we all were telling my uncle and brother what we heard. They both said they could also hear the notes from our direction. We never saw a thing and I don't know what we heard. We didn't see anything on the ground, nothing in the trees, or water and we all were looking. About the only thing I do know there is no pipe organs around that lake.
Over the years we have been back many tines and nothing. Over the years we have asked local biologists. They look at me like we're nuts. I even have asked a First Nation friend from that area. At least he gave me a kind of answer. Are you ready, I sure was. He said some things in nature are best left unknown. That is your answer? I was so ready to find out and that's what I got. I'm the last one of the 8 people still alive who heard the pipe organ notes around that lake in the Canadian wilderness and I'm just looking for answers." GB
