The Navajo 'Medicine Man': Chasing the Skinwalker

A Navajo husband and wife sense that a Skinwalker has taken control their property. They ask a Medicine man and his assistants to intervene. The account then turns dark and foreboding.

I recently came across the following account:

"The stories of Navajo Medicine Man or Shamans having encounters or altercations with Skinwalkers, is one not largely out spoken by them - much like a Vatican exorcist. Most modern encounters today are either a host seeking help from the Medicine Man, either spiritually, holistically or physically.

In most way they are like Priests. People find comfort in their prayers, blessing and guidance in times they don't understand fully or seeking just to be enlightened by words wisdom or knowledge. They are also like an alternative psychiatrist or therapist with experience in medicinal remedies, psychological therapy, or physical therapy.

From what I was able to piece together from bits and parts of other stories. A group of Medicine Men (when horses were introduced to Navajos) some with their own abilities being mediums, energy drawers, conduits, some supernatural or natural would investigate claims and rumors around the Navajo Nation seeking out these, Skinwalkers are spiritual and an unexplainable phenomena. People who become host to its strange phenomena would seek out these Medicine Men for help, some even travelling hundred of miles to the southwest.

In one such encounter I've heard from an elder is that when he was a young boy becoming a man. His grandfather's grandfather would ride around the Navajo Nation and off, sometimes going as far in to the Canadian Territories to the northern territory of Mexico, helping people of all ailments spiritually and physically under discretion and some form of payment.

He then talked about when they would come across definite proof of demonic hauntings and presences. Much like how a church would investigate demonic presences.

One encounter he remembers that happened in the heart land regions of the Navajo Nation specifically Diné Betó, Arizona.

An elderly man spent a week herding his livestock to their winter property. When he finally returned home in the day he found his wife had not prepared their wagons with their belongings. But seeing her rifle and horse were gone, he thought she must be getting supplies or went to visit other nearby residents they know in their rural region.

(Times back in the day for Navajo they kept busy all day much like rancher an farmers. They were always cautious of strangers and burglarizing and ransacking of property was common but low. Land tracking was a very common skill before it wasn't)

He than noticed nothing was disturbed or out of the ordinary for them. But he had a feeling his wife went to a nearby friend's. His gut feeling was right and found out that his wife was there. But also asked why she left their place with their valuables and wagons unguarded.

She told him the following. One of the goats came back and only stood in one direction. With a stick in hand, she attempted to snap it out of whatever trance it was in. It screamed and dropped dead. She thought it could be ailments or termites in its horns eating away at its brain. She didn't want to waste whatever was salvageable. She butchered the goat and hung its wool skin to dry in the sun. She placed the still intact headless goat in back of one the wagons. As she went about finishing her chores to pack the wagon she heard a rattling outside. Thinking it was a rattlesnake on the property she went to find it. But came to notice the sheep skin was gone, thinking that someone was on the property and trying  robbing them. She went into the hogan to get her rifle.

Gun at the ready she didn't get far before noticing that the goat skin was dragging on the ground. Thinking it was animals instead she followed the dragging trail and kept an eye for an animal in the distance. Instead she noticed, not far ahead, the skin hide was dragging itself - gliding over the ground. She shot at it more than several times but it kept going toward some washes in the land with hilly terrain. Unsure of what she had seen she decided not to stay the night and left to the neighbors.

Hearing this the husband had her and the neighbors go find the local Medicine Men common in the area, but it would be a couple days. Returning with a elderly Medicine Man, 3 men accompanied him. The wife then showed them where she stopped following the skin and they went on from there.

Unable to accompany them, the husband and wife kept a bonfire going all night as a waypoint for them to see in the night sky. Late into the first night one man came back and asked if they could spare a horse as one of theirs has fallen into a ditch and severely injured itself, so they had to shoot it. Agreeing, they let him take the husband's horse as it was fast and knew the area.

Into the next day no sign of them returning happened. Then night came. They built the bonfire again so they would be able to see it if they are near. Not long after another one of the men came back an asked if they could spare another horse. Agreeing thinking something again happened to their horse they took the wagon horse. Later into the night the final third man of the group came to the house and asked if they had another horse they could spare. Anxious on an update the husband asked if they had found the goat skin. Not saying anything else the third man asked again if they had another horse to spare.

The husband agreed, but only that if he can check on his other horses. The third man agreed and they rode into the night. Coming upon a ridge in the night, lightened up by the full moon the third man rode to the sound of a sweat lodge ceremony the Medicine Man an two other men were conducting. Coming upon the sweat lodge, he respected the strict custom around a Medicine Man in the middle of ceremonies. He stayed silent.

(It is custom among Navajo culture to be silent during a ceremony and not to break the concentration of the Medicine Man and strict lesson never to question what they do).

The third man told the husband not to look into the open sweat lodge doorway. He had to keep the glowing dim lava rocks hot and not to look back to the sweat lodge direction until they are done.

He sat there with the low dim fire and keeping the rocks hot listening to the chanting. The he noticed a blurry white mass out in the distance below. No ambient light came from it, only a white mass - like someone wearing all white in the moon light. He was atop the cliff looking down below to barren flat desert and washes. He saw it darting left and right, going into washes and coming out going hundreds of feet in no pattern, faster than a horse can run and way faster than someone who can even run fast.

Twilight was coming up and the white mass disappeared into a wash to his right and never came back out. He observed everywhere below to see where it was, and still listened to the song the Medicine Man an his assistant were singing.

He could hear the heavy foot steps of his wife's horse. He did as what he was told and didn't turn around once to check on the horse. But then, the heavy horse thud steps got closer to him in a rhythm of two, like someone walking and he was on high alert to turn around. He felt a hard clutch on his shoulder. He screamed and cried out in agony yelling, and was ready to fight whatever it was in the night. But it was the old Medicine Man. The husband was frightened by feeling such a strong heavy presence. The old man asked what he was doing far out away from his home. Confused, he said he came along with one of the old man's assistants to check on his horses. But instead he made him a fire watcher.

The old man, with concern, said they had seen the goat skin and they were chasing it into washes to trap it in the high sand walls. But it had killed two of his men the first night when they entered the wash, by collapsing the side walls when they got close to the goat skin on the ground. He and his last assistant went on to trap it in the cliff sides during the next day, but couldn't get to the top of the cliff to where it was at. So he went ahead and his last assistant stayed where it was last seen below. He went along and around the cliff sides to find a trail up, but that took most of the day and he came upon the husband. He followed the smell of a dead animal and seen scattered flesh and blood, then heard the sound of a drumming ceremony in the night. He couldn't tell where it was, until the sky lightened up from early morning coming. Then he finally seen him there sitting near the edge of the cliff.

Thinking he was being tricked, the husband opened up the makeshift sweat lodge doorway. Looking inside, he could see it was made of his horses' bones and not wood. And there, laid on the opposite side of the door, he saw the goat skin. The Medicine Man took the skin and they burned down the sweat lodge to ashes in a bonfire.

The husband asked how a skin could do all that. The old Medicine Man explained that something else in the night came for the goat skin on the second night. They thought it was him, the husband coming out to find them, but it wasn't. They rode to the sounds of heavy galloping and dark flashes of something in the moon light. In the nights, they hunted it like predator animals and tried luring it into washes or caves in the washes, by sacrificing one of their horses to collapse in the high sand walls, but no avail.

Returning back to the husband's house, the wife told them that where she had put the carcass of the goat, it was gone and couldn't find tracks.

When time came to go to their winter property, they never returned back to their original property. Time passed and the land turned into sand dunes and the hogan, with no upkeep, soon fell apart over the years. And when it finally collapsed in, they never rebuilt." LC

Colorado Rancher Witnesses Horrifying UFO Cattle Abduction & Mutilation

A Colorado rancher is shocked after witnessing a cattle abduction and mutilation one night. It disturbed him so much that he decided to sell the ranch and move to Arizona.

I recently received the following account:

"I knew a former Colorado rancher who owned a ranch near Del Norte and one near Mesa, Arizona. The sight of strange harsh glaring lights on the mountains to the southeast near Alamosa, Colorado was a common sight. Odd aircraft with extremely strong searchlights would meander through the peaks. Strange and odd animal mutilations would occur here. These sights bothered him and his wife...a lot.

One night spelled the end of his continued life in this weird area. His wife had died a few years prior and he now lived alone. He told me that he had gone to bed early because he had to get up early to take care of livestock and chores. His bedroom window looked out on an adjoining east corral which was fenced in, with the house nearly a couple of feet to the fence line. Here were several cattle he looked after which had been divided from the herd for several reasons.

Around 1:00 am, he was awakened by a bright, intense white light blasting through the window momentarily. He got up to see what was going on. As he peered over the window sill, he couldn't believe his eyes. A large saucer-shaped object about 50 feet in diameter was hovering above one of his cows, not but 100 feet away from the house. A cow was surrounded by light. The vehicle utilized the light to power up a beam to lift the animal into the base of the craft hovering above. This sight put the fear of God into the rancher. He told me that he rushed away from the window. Snuggled down between the floor and wall. Didn't sleep the remainder of the entire night utterly petrified. No sounds were heard except for the animal's cries and then silence.

At dawn, the rancher dressed, rushed out to the corral area and found, less than 30 feet away from his bedroom window, the mutilated carcass of the same cow he had seen levitated by the craft. Calling the sheriff, he contacted authorities who listened to his story and basically told him he couldn't do anything about these incidents. The authorities were helpless.

I talked to him about this and he told me that Robert Stack's television program, "Unsolved Mysteries," had contacted him about the event, arranged an interview and he talked to them on camera. The rancher said he would do it under the condition that his face not be shown nor any identifying information be divulged. The harrowing incident put such fear into him that he decided all of the weird events he had witnessed over the many years he had owned the ranch (and he was raised there as a youngster) would keep him there no longer. He had decided to sell the property and move to his other land in Arizona.

I know this individual personally as I was also a horseman and accompanied him in the Arizona mountains on pack trips. He was a very dependable, conservative veteran, with many contracts to do work for electric utilities, as well as a solid work and community trustworthiness. Knowing his sincere story and knowing his background leaves no doubt in my mind. The story is true and, I believe, quite reliable because it came from him. This bizarre narrative is not something he would "make up." He received no money for this. Publicity was not welcome because of his work with Arizona utilities and he could not believe what he had seen. But had to accept the fact this had actually occurred. "This was so frightening," he said to me, "I simply couldn't stay here any longer." True story and I vouch for him." KV

An Illegal Alien, of the Extraterrestrial Kind

Official UFO was a mass market magazine published nine times yearly during the 1970s and 1980s by Countrywide Publications (New York, New York).  In the May 1975 issue of this publication, editor Russ A. Rueger, Ph.D., revealed that one of Official UFO magazine’s staff writers was actually an extraterrestrial.  

“As you can imagine,” wrote Rueger, “staff come and go at the offices of Official UFO.  Government pressures, nervous breakdowns, and a generally stressful environment all contribute to the rapid turnover of personnel.  If you’re completely sane when you start working here, we like to say that you won’t stay that way for long!  Unfortunately, sometimes that turns out to be true.”

It was January 1975 and one of the ace correspondents for Official UFO was out on assignment.  Everything was fairly quiet around the office, so Rueger and the other personnel decided to leave early from work one Thursday afternoon.  But when they returned on Friday morning, they found an unusual manuscript on the desk of one recently hired staff writer, William Cobb, who was nowhere to be seen.  

In Rueger’s estimation, Cobb showed great promise as both a UFO investigator and staff reporter.  He was sad to see him go.  The editor and other staff had noticed that Cobb always seemed nervous.  He never wrote articles under his own name.  When Rueger asked Cobb why he was always writing under different aliases, the staff writer simply replied, “I needed to protect myself.”

The editor felt that it would be unfair to reveal exactly which articles were written by Cobb under the sundry aliases over the few months he had been working at Official UFO.  “With all due respect to Mr. Cobb,” wrote Rueger, “we will not divulge exactly which articles because some of them were risky and inflammatory.”

Slightly more than four months had passed since Cobb first disappeared.  “Since we discovered this manuscript, we haven’t seen nor heard of Mr. Cobb, and he hasn’t even returned to pick up his last paycheck,” noted the editor, who added that, “This was very unusual behavior, particularly for Cobb.  So, William, if you’re out there reading this, we hope that everything is all right and that you will get in touch with us.”

Despite editing a magazine that deals with exceptional phenomena, Rueger was of the opinion that the story Cobb left behind in the manuscript was “patently ridiculous” and only served to demonstrate what working in a hectic office environment can do in shaking up one’s sanity.  It was good, however, that Rueger went ahead and published Cobb’s manuscript exactly as he and the office personnel had found it.  A photo of William Cobb was published in the Official UFO magazine asking readers who might know where he is to make a report to the editor at the publication’s mailing address of 257 Park Avenue South, New York, New York 10010.  He never did check back in with the office; and here we have another case of one intimately tied to the ongoing UFO saga of completely disappearing off of the face of the Earth.

The last manuscript of William Cobb, staff writer for Official UFO, follows, detailing information on the alien he was working with, side-by-side, on a daily basis and why he (Cobb) decided to disappear:

The Moon is out now; and I can see it coming in through the blinds.  It used to comfort me but it doesn’t anymore.  I’ve got to get out of here; but I guess I owe it to the readers of Official UFO to tell them what’s going on.  I hope I have a chance to finish it.  

I took the job as reporter here because I believe that the government is trying to suppress information about UFOs.  I have seen several of them myself at various points in my life, so I know they exist.  When I was young, I used to think that everybody saw them; and it wasn’t until later I realized that many people still don’t even believe they exist.  So, I finally decided to share my knowledge with the public through this magazine.  But the time has come for me to move on; so, I am telling my last news story.

One of the writers at this magazine has astonishing luck in getting great stories.  No matter what he sets out to investigate, he always comes back with an amazing revelation.  I have followed him in order to learn his journalistic secrets, but to no avail.  My first reaction was jealousy, but soon that gave way to stronger emotion.

Frequently, readers of this magazine have certainly read his material.  He writes under many names, most frequently “R. J.”  At first glance, he appears perfectly normal; but there is a strange glint in his eyes at all times; and he always seems to be laughing at some private joke that only he can hear.  One thing about him is certain, though, and that is he is one of the most important journalists of the decade.  People who work for this magazine do not get nominated for Pulitzer Prizes because the world doesn’t believe what we are telling them; but if we were, “R. J.” would probably be the first to be so rewarded.  Still, how he got his great scoops remained a mystery to me.

He kept strange hours, did strange things, ate strange goods- and soon I began to suspect the truth.  “R. J.,” a writer for Official UFO, was himself an alien!  Suddenly everything made sense.  He was not a reporter so much as a publicist.  When the aliens decided to reveal information about the human race, “R. J.” would bring it into the office, write it down and publish it.  Our entire organization was acting as a front for aliens. 

I had not fully convinced myself of this by any means because it was admittedly a little far-fetched.  If aliens wanted to transmit information to Earth, they could disrupt our television communications or our radio waves without even trying.  When then, would they send an alien in human form to our offices?  The idea was too silly to consider.

Still, I began following “R. J.” with renewed vigor.  This was the story I had been waiting for.  If it was true, then I could…. could what?  Without knowing “R. J.’s” purpose, I would not be able to say anything.  One day I cornered him as he was putting on his coat at lunch time.  

“Why are you here?” I asked him; but all he did was look confused.  I don’t know whether he suspected what I was up to, but it was a stupid move on my part all the same.  If his intentions were hostile, he might have killed me right there.  I had to be more careful.

My golden opportunity for research came this month when “R. J.” was sent away on assignment.  He was investigating new evidence of ancient astronauts unearthed at the south of France and was not expected to return for several weeks.  I began staying late in order to pursue my investigative work.  I searched his desk and found nothing except some paper clips, a red pen, a sheet of Ko-Rec-Type and a prize from a box of candy.  I was amused by how mundane it all was and applauded “R. J.” for being so careful to cover his tracks.  He was sneakier than I thought.  I would have to work harder.

I unearthed every article he had written and began going over them with a “fine-toothed comb.”  I immediately noticed several things.  Most of the stories centered on ancient astronaut controversies and all the evidence that he reported supported the existence of aliens in our past.  Other stories involved locating alien interference at specific times in human history.  Still others reported finding evidence of aliens in everyday life.

William Cobb, a staff writer for UFO Review, right before he disappeared.  Apparently, Cobb knew too much about flying saucers, for his own good.

What emerged from all these stories was the idea that aliens were beneficent creatures who had been helping mankind along the path to maturity since we were small one-celled lifeforms.  Aliens have always been with us and have always helped us, but always in secret.  They have chosen when to reveal themselves, more and more frequently in recent times.

If all of this was a well-kept secret, why was it being revealed in the pages of Official UFO?  Either “R. J.” was a renegade alien who was no longer a part of the extraterrestrial master plan or he was a major part of the plan.  Both views made sense; but the second one made even more sense than the first.  With the space program faltering and man wallowing in the 1970s, accomplishing nothing, the time had come for more severe measures to be taken by the aliens.  So, “R. J.” had come to the offices of Official UFO in order to start acclimating humanity to the idea of aliens.  Once humanity is sufficiently “prepared,” then the lid can come off and the aliens can reveal themselves.

That’s the story of “R. J.,” as far as I can determine.  On the back of one of his pads of paper, I found some doodling, but doodling unlike any I’d ever seen.  It was a solar system, but one totally unlike ours, with a pulsating binary star and six ringed planets.  Written underneath the drawing was something- I don’t know what- because it isn’t in any language I’ve ever seen on Earth.  So now I am writing this.  

Should I have revealed “R. J.’s” plan?  What will they do to me when they find out?  It’s obvious that I will have to develop a whole new identity.  I will also need a new job.  The world doesn’t need me to tell them about UFOs anymore.  They’ve got “R. J.”

Black-Eyed 'Man in Black' Continuously Manifests in Experiencer's Bedroom

An experiencer has seen several manifestations of a black-eyed 'man in black' in is bedroom after waking. The being would appear amid a bluish light and talk to the witness.

I recently came across the following account:

"I don't know much about UFOs or aliens beyond fiction, which is why I'm a little baffled at having met a 'man in black' four times. There's not much I can do for evidence so if you don't believe this, that's fair enough. I'm well aware that it sounds far-fetched. I am hoping I can find people who've had similar experiences though.

The most "logical" explanation is that it's sleep paralysis. Or hallucinations. But it doesn't seem to quite add up.

He appears in my room at night. Very consistent every time. He dresses like it's 1952, neat suit, trench coat and wide brimmed fedora. He used to wear dark sunglasses, but he stopped doing that more recently. His eyes are entirely black.

The first time I saw him was last September. I woke up to a bright blue light shining from outside, and a man standing at the foot of my bed in front of the window. I felt extremely sleepy. The first thing he said to me was, "you're going to be fine."

I feel like the next thing he said does nothing to help my credibility, but he told me to "remember Mothman Prophecies 9 66".

I hadn't heard of that book at the time. It took me months to get around to reading it, since I'd written off the initial experience as some sort of fever dream. I'd been very sick at the time it happened.

The second time I saw him was in January. I'd nearly finished reading 'Mothman Prophecies' by then. I was dreaming, I saw the man on a street and I ran over to him. I said, "excuse me", and he turned and said, "you should come with me now." I woke up and he was kneeling next to my bed, his face close enough that I could make out his features despite my bad eyesight. The room was lit with blue light like it was before. This time I could barely keep my eyes open and it was difficult to focus. He told me, "don't worry, you're just in a trance." I'm not entirely sure what he said then, but it was something about computer programs and minds. He told me to finish reading 'Mothman Prophecies' and that I should keep a record of my dreams.

I was very much convinced that it was just sleep paralysis and a whole lot of coincidences. But in February I saw him in a dream again. He showed me the opening scene of a horror movie that I wouldn't watch until a week later (I've been having a lot of prophetic dreams, I don't want to go on that tangent here). In the dream he gave me his hat. When I woke up, my room was once again lit up in blue light, but this time I wasn't so sleepy. I sat up in bed and noticed that the hat he'd given me in the dream was on the pillow next to me. This is why I'm not so convinced that it's sleep paralysis. I was able to pick up the hat, and I could feel the material and the weight of it. It seemed exactly like a regular hat. After some minutes though it disappeared, it looked like one of those optical illusions with the vanishing dots. Very bizarre.

The next time I saw him was in April. I don't remember dreaming about anything this time, I just woke up and he was there. No blue light now, my lamp had been turned on. He was kneeling next to my bed like before but this time I felt more awake. I looked at my clock, 5:08am. I looked at him and said, "this must be sleep paralysis." He said something that sounded like gibberish to me. I said, "what?" and he repeated himself, very calmly. I didn't have a clue what he was saying. I think he repeated himself 3 times before I started to fall asleep. I was startled awake by the sound of my door being closed, the lamp was off now. My clock said 5:12am so whatever this was happened in real time, which makes me think I wasn't dreaming.

He came back again the same night. The room was lit in blue again and he spoke English this time. I just stared at the ceiling. He said, "your sleep paralysis demon is trying to contact you." I got to assume that was an attempt at a joke, given that I've been calling it sleep paralysis for so long. He told me to take note of the number 4, and then he was gone. I got up to get my dream journal, but as I flicked through the pages it seemed like it wasn't mine. It was full of drawings I didn't recognize rather than writing. I went to the front page and written there was "My name is Michael." Is that what he'd been trying to say earlier? I put the book down and went back to bed.

My most recent encounter was again in April, a couple of weeks after the previous one. I woke up to blindingly bright blue light and 'Michael' was standing next to my bed. He was talking to somebody but I couldn't tell who. He said, "people who experience reality shifts sometimes come back changed. She thought that's what happened to her, but she's always been this way." I haven't got a damn clue what that's supposed to mean.

Please let me know if you've experienced anything similar, or if you have any idea what's going on." AC

NOTE: This is very interesting, The incidents seem to correspond to some of the events that occurred in Point Pleasant, WV after the Silver bridge collapse, namely, the appearance of the 'Men in Black.' The name 'Michael'...some people may interpret this as a manifestation of Michael the Archangel (though I doubt this). I'm sending a message to this experiencer in the hope that they will follow up with any further incidents. Lon

US Special Forces in Cambodia Observed 'Alien Humanoids' Gathering Human Body Parts

A US Special Forces team, on a covert assignment in Tong Li Sap, Cambodia, encountered several alien humanoids gathering and storing human body parts in containers.

I recently came across another account of an alien humanoid encounter during the Vietnam War:

In 1972, during the war in Vietnam, a covert team of US soldiers was sent to Tong Li Sap, Cambodia, which is situated in southeast Asia. The operation was essential; to destroy a facility in North Vietnam, which, as it was possible to establish by the US intelligence, was secretly overhearing top-secret conversations of the US Army in South Vietnam.

The team set up camp overnight, preparing to assault the North Vietnamese team at dawn. In the early morning, the special forces sneaked up to the Vietnamese base, but what they saw there shocked and frightened them.

As the team got closer to the location of the North Vietnamese unit, they suddenly discovered that there was a large spherical spacecraft, which stood on three strong metal supports. The craft suddenly began to hum, causing instant sickness, dizziness, and disorientation in the US military.

The group leader was about to issue a command to retreat when a group of strange-looking humanoid creatures appeared. The US troops were frightened after seeing those creatures, but what they were doing, scared the hell out of them. The description of these beings was similar to those of tall 'Greys,' though it seems some could have been more Reptilian.

The aliens were handling a large pile of various parts of human bodies and placed them in large containers: arms, legs, torso, heads and so forth. GI and VC body parts.

What they saw sobered and angered the special forces, and the commander gave the order to open fire. The bullets hit the creatures, but they did not do any harm, except for one, who was killed by a shot in the head. Several commandos were killed, while others were seriously affected by the effects of unknown weapons. Then the aliens quickly retreated into the ship and quickly ascended into the sky.

Soon, another CIA team appeared at the scene, and one survivor told them they were all given some kind of mind-altering drugs to make them forget about this incredible fight. And it worked, at least for a while.

However, in the late 1980s, two members of the special forces team who took part in that battle began to have nightmarish memories of those events of April 1972, which prompted one of them to contact many other special forces who were found and who were still alive.

Two had already died, three were not found at all, but the rest were able to meet in August 1988 and decided that this story should be told. They turned to researcher and ufologist Leonard Stringfield, and he published their story in his 1991 book: “UFO Crash Retrievals: The Inner Sanctum.”

Interesting Older, Recently Reported, UFO Encounters

Five older, but recently reported, UFO incidents in the United States & Canada. Some are quite interesting, especially an incident that occurred near Harrisburg, PA.

The following reports were recently submitted:

August 5, 1995 - LaRonge, Saskatchewan, Canada: "It was my cousin’s wedding night and my younger brother and I were getting picked up to go to the dance so we chose to sit in the back of the truck in the box, so we were driving north through LaRonge passing this area called Big Stone and just over the houses i first noticed this UFO. Just hovering there about 150 meters off the highway and As I was in shock of seeing this thing I told my brother to turn around. He was In shock too so we just watched it hover for a few seconds as we drove by it and as soon as we were passed it. It slowly passed over the highway towards the Lake of LaRonge and then shot straight into the sky until it disappeared The speed limit through the area was 80 kmh back then so the time that it would’ve taken us to drive from seeing it till it disappeared I’d guess about 20-30 seconds. We told our parents cousins aunts and uncles. But nobody believed us back then as I was 12 and my brother was 10. But, yeah, just thought I’d share that." CC

"While living in Spencerville, Ontario K0E 1X0, RR#4, I was awoken to a UFO hovering over our home. The year was 1976. It was very close to the size of our house, round in shape, sort of flattened with orange and blue lights...mostly orange. It was almost as if it had me frozen at my bedroom window. The moment it disappeared I could move again at which point I ran through the house waking my parents to tell them what had happened. I never felt the urge to tell anyone else about it, not sure why." CW

Mid 1990s - Knox County, Indiana: "Me and 4 others were chased by a craft about 13 miles one night. We were driving along and all of a sudden our soundings lit up like daylight. I stopped my vehicle, got out and looked up. I was blinded and couldn't see what was putting off the light. I jumped back in the car. I turned around and went back in the direction we came from. I noticed as we were headed back that the craft had shut its big lights off and started following us.

My girlfriend at the time was up front with me, along with her little sister and two of her sister's friends. They was freaking out, screaming and crying. For some reason after it happened we never discussed it.

When I got about 3 miles away from the town we lived in, the front passenger tire blew out. It was a fairly new tire. It was on the same side the craft was on. I continued to drive on the rim, throwing sparks. It was making a hell of a racket, but I wasn't stopping. We got about a mile away, the craft zipped off and left a streak across the sky, almost like a bolt of lightning. I would have to say this was around the mid to late 90s.

The location this happened was Knox County, Indiana. It happened almost right where the Wabash and White Rivers fork off. The road there is called 6th Street. There is a levy that crosses over the road just before you get to the rivers. And as I topped that levy is where the light came down on us." MDH

"When I was a young girl, an event happened to me. Our house was in rural east Ottawa, Ontario. The year would have been 1999. My window faced a forest with no artificial lights or roads. I woke up shortly after going to bed to a bright white light outside my window. I stared terrified at it for what felt like a minute. The light source moved slightly as it 'hovered'. The light rapidly moved away as I made a small movement in bed - so fast that it was as if the light had been suddenly turned off. There was no noise whatsoever during the event. Afterwards, I ran over to my father in the next room over and told him what I had seen. He dismissed it and said he heard nothing. This is my most vivid early memory." PD

Harrisburg, PA - 1994-07-22 - 10:00PM: It was a nice quiet evening for a walk. I was joined by 3 close friends, the girlfriend of one of them (now deceased) and another man whose name escapes me, but he was a botanist.

We walked through a wooded area and into an adjacent farmers field. It was a clear night sky with great visibility away from residential lighting. We were heading to a pond near West Hanover elementary school to see some frogs.

We were fairly alert and quiet due to crossing through the woods - to listen for possible animal threats. Halfway across the field I turned to look behind me to chat with someone.

I heard a sonic boom that dropped me to my back. I turned my gaze to the sky as a giant boomerang of white light blazed across the sky. It left a solid trail of white light in the shape of the boomerang. It reminded me of the pins that they wear on Star Trek. Rounded delta shape with a concave center at rear of shape. It was rather low and rather large blocking out much of the sky as it passed overhead. The white light trail behind the object also blocked out starlight.

We all saw this together. Initially I attributed the sonic boom to the UFO but the sound came before the streaking light. I conservatively estimated the speed to be at least 7,000 mph based on the distance to where it loitered taking a fraction of a second.

We took a minute to process and continued our walk which coincided with the trajectory of the object. We arrived at the pond and nearby baseball field. From the ball field we could again see the object [assuming it's the same one] about a mile away. Now a spherical shape, it was rapidly twirling, rotating on a center axis. It flashed between deep reds and deep blue. Light emitting in quick random like bursts. My friend Chad and I watched as it swung like a pendulum to the left, while spinning, and gently bob or bounce at that position, once it reached the top of each arc. Next, it swung to right, reaching the top of the pendulum again it would bounce softly and remain to the right for a few seconds. It did this the whole time. Back and forth, but it would linger for different lengths of time in the right and left positions. The motion overall appeared random other than the consistent pendulum action, constant flashing and the soft erratic bobbing motion.

We questioned each other to verify it was moving as it appeared to. Taking turns describing the position. We were seeing the exact same patterns. While this bizarre display of movement and lighting took place the object was also discharging/ejecting orange material that resembled molten iron. It dripped from the object-orange glowing material that lost its glow as it fell to the ground. At times it behaved as if it were a saw with sparks arcing away, curving with the rotation of the object. Most of the expelled glowing embers however dripped down.

The glowing "material" behaved like a solid, falling straight down. It shed from the object at a rate of about 2-5 pieces every second.

I wanted to walk approx.1 mile to the object but was talked out of it. I haven't yet told my friends that I would report this but I'm sure at least 2 of the witnesses would verify my account. We haven't spoken of that night since then. I felt that the object could see us and that it would come to us. It remained about 1/4 mile above the Earth at the bottom of the pendulum-like movement.

Strangely, the others, besides one of my group, didn't seem interested in the event. They acknowledged that it was happening but weren't awestruck as Chad and myself were. We watched for about 45 minutes before leaving. The object remained there upon our departure.

After that evening I began noticing what felt like a wire that ran from around my ear lobe/beneath my ear behind my clavicle through my elbow and radius and to the tip of my smallest finger. If I tugged on my earlobe, gently, I could feel it all the way down to my finger. It's no longer noticeable but for many years it was a source of mild annoyance. It could be a coincidence but I have no nerve damage or any wounds that I can attribute to this.

Our town, where this event took place is a few miles from Ft. Indiantown Gap, a military installation with aircraft. I believe a jet was scrambled to intercept the object. I did not see a jet but I heard the unmistakable ground rattling signature of something large breaking the sound barrier. I wish I would've written down the date of the incident because I would start the FOIA process. My associates may have a more precise date than I do. I will reach out to two of my friends and have them file a report with MUFON or ask them to cooperate. They may have details that I forgot.

I'm sorry for making this long winded but that night changed my life. I have been haunted by the need for answers as others are. Nothing conventional can explain what we saw. It wasn't Venus or Mars swinging, bobbing, flashing and oozing glowing embers. There was another incident that happened a few years prior to this with many witnesses.

I regret not taking more action that night. I studied it for a long time though and I desire to amend this file with known witness testimony, possible other witnesses and a flight desk log, police reports.

Someone chased after that object in a jet. For some reason no one else came to take a look. I watched it for 30 to 60 minutes barely blinking. The initial sighting of this thing lasted a split second and about 10 minutes later we were in open view of it again. Plenty of time to dispatch helicopters, etc. Unless they were silent and blacked out, nobody came to investigate our visitor after the initial sonic boom." MUFON

Eyewitness Recalls Various Bigfoot Encounters in Jefferson County, Ohio

A Jefferson County, Ohio woman recalls her various encounters with different Bigfoot in and around the region where she lives. Quite interesting report.

The following account was forwarded to me recently:

"I witnessed five of them and they were all different. One was recorded by the local Sasquatch community. Since then I saw another one just down the street from where I live and shortly there after I saw two more in Jefferson, Ohio off of Route 11 and Route 90...as you turn onto Route 11 going south before I got off at the Jefferson exit. It was on the right side walking through the swampy water onto the right side of the road. I believe it was a male and a female because you could see one had breasts. The male was taller.

I’ve also seen one in Jefferson County as well. It was off of Grigg’s Road. It’s been a while. There is a railroad trestle. I saw something I thought was a human being sitting on the tracks and I stopped my car basically on the tracks on that road, thinking it was someone who needed help. This thing got up took two steps and it was gone. It was huge and I'd say 10+ foot high. Very muscular, very hairy.

Why I’ve seen as many as I have, I have no idea. All I know is it I’ve looked at things a lot different than I have in the past. I was not a believer in the past, but now that I’ve seen them and one directly up close, I totally will not walk in the woods alone ever again. As well, I’ve seen one that looked like a spider crawling on its legs and arms going sideways like and disappeared into a small pond. Enough to scare you.

I’ve taken pictures and I’ve seen a lot. This is just in the Geneva, Ohio area and Jefferson, Ohio. I’ve seen structures towards Madison, Ohio along the freeway as well as by the Madison cemetery off of Route 90. It is a very open view that you would think kids did it. But this is not kids, for the pictures that I have taken of it, there was something inside of it.

I would ever use my weapon to them because I know I probably won’t have a chance to survive if I was to use one. They are very quick, very fast and they can take four steps to our steps. So if you come in contact with them be very careful. If you get near their young you will hear nothing more than that growls, snarls with stone and sticks thrown at you." DS

Multiple Diamond Shaped UFOs / Military Aircraft Engagement Over Baltimore, Maryland

Two Baltimore, MD residents observe multiple UFOs and military aircraft engagements over the city. The UFO activity has increased in the Baltimore/DC metro area in recent years.

I recently received the following account:

"Hello there Lon,

I was born in Baltimore Maryland and I have never seen a UFO until recent years, so I will tell you of my own personal experience. It occurred in late August, early September in 2019.

It took place during two consecutive days and also around the same time between 5:00pm-6:00pm EST. I live close to the Inner Harbor and my friend Robert (not real name) and I were listening to music. He noticed something shining through his balcony glass door which was facing the southwest in the direction of Washington D.C, from the 8th floor in his downtown apartment building.

With my naked eye it was a goldish color, possibly from the sunset and the clouds or maybe it was emitting its own light. My camera phone was completely useless because it was quite far, but you could definitely notice this object. My friend Robert shocked me when he said: "Oh yeah, I see things out there like that all the time." I chuckled and then grabbed the binoculars for a closer look and saw a gold prism shaped, an elongated diamond shaped, its the closest I can describe this object, I hesitate to you say it was kite shape, but that's what it looked like, but definitely not a kite. This was the first sighting.

The second day was very dramatic and I was quite surprised that no one spoke of this, or as you know, maybe they looked the other way. It was the same time between the hours of 5-6pm ET. Robert yelled from the kitchenette and said there they are, and I spoke up and said: "THEY?" I took the binoculars once again but only this time there was many jets flying very high and very fast, maybe it was just living in the city but a helicopter flew over head very close to the roof of the apartment building, unexpectedly adding to the excitement.

Only this time there was more than one object, same shape and color, but what rattled my reality was that these objects where appearing before my eyes through the binoculars. The strange shapes where appearing in a certain pattern, so each diamond liked shaped, 4 in total was materializing in a stair-step pattern, but descending.

Another interesting note that is worth mentioning is that the jets were really high-tailing it towards these objects. You could see all sorts of jet exhaust, the sky was just completely busy. Like I mentioned before this was near downtown/Inner Harbor Baltimore Maryland, and I am almost more amazed compare to the sighting(s) that no one, eyewitnesses or another sort of media gave this much deserved attention.

NOTE: I have received a lot of triangular craft sightings from the Baltimore/DC metro area, especially during the past 7-8 years. Very few are ever reported. Many of these sightings have been of large black triangular craft (upwards of 200-300 yards in width) that hover over an area for a few seconds, then suddenly disappear. GD's report is interesting since the UFOs were diamond shaped. I rarely receive military activity related to these craft sightings in the region. Lon

Unknown Cryptid Encounter Shocks Witness in Lower Saxony, Germany

A woman living in the Seven Mountains region in Lower Saxony, Germany describes an encounter with an unknown beast that was on the roof above her bedroom.

I recently came across the following account:

"It took me some time, but I think I'm finally ready to share my encounter with you now. It happened in Western Germany, in the Seven Mountains (Siebengebirge) region in Lower Saxony. What I'm about to share is the genuine truth.

It all started with a horrible "animal" screaming sound outside my house at night, which I already compared to all wildlife animal sound records from Zoology Institutes, but nothing comes close to it. It kind of sounded like a woman screaming in agony, but then again even worse. It felt like I could feel the sounds vibration in my veins, it's hard to describe. It was really scary.

I live in a tiny house next to forests and mountains. It was a dark October night and I lay in my bed, which is in a sleeping corner. Right in front is a window, which is always half opened and above me is just a flat roof. Garden all around the house.

At first I heard 1 animal / creature scream. Then there seemed to be 2 of them. They sounded very close and wouldn't stop screaming for minutes. The next thing I heard, was something heavy running through the garden under my bed window. Followed by heavy branches breaking at the height of my level (2nd floor). I also heard a loud "rush of air / wind" combined to that. In the next second, this animal / creature jumped on my roof (so in that moment it was right above me, ca. 2-3 meters). And that was the moment, when things started to get messy and very confusing to me, until this day.

First I want to point out, that this animal / creature sounded so... heavy, when it landed. I don't know of any animal species, that big, around here. It sounded massive and therefore surreal. Also the quickness of it's movements seemed surreal.

After that jump it started to run on my roof. From one side to the other. It first sounded like it was something extremely heavy - on 2 legs. But that suddenly changed to, what sounded like something extremely heavy - on 4 paws. I remember sitting straight up in bed right "under it" with an intense pulse and my mind just trying to process, what I'm hearing. What kind of creature that is? That was also the turning point, when I seriously felt threatened. Since I'm a girl living alone in a tiny house and didn't really have any protection to fight something massive like this off (just knives or pepper spray, which quiet sure would've been useless). So I decided to do something stupid (I guess). I thought maybe I could shock it / scare it away, so I hit against my bed window with my flat hand, as hard and loud, as I could. What happened next messes with me until today.

Not even 1 second passed, after I hit the glass, when this creature hit it right back from outside. So, it must have been sitting right above me in that moment and reached down to my window. And it reacted so quickly, it was surreal. The sound of what touched my window glass sounded like a mix between big claws and feathers. This reaction and the way it sounded put me in kind of a shock I guess. I realized I'm quiet screwed in that moment. Because whatever it was, it was very intelligent, huge, and wouldn't back off. That's how it felt to me. As if it would say: "You have no power here. I am always one step further. Know your lane."

Basically I just froze then. On my bed, my back at the wall, starring at where it hit the window glass. I was too scared to go too close to it. I was too scared to breathe even. Then it suddenly just left my roof, which sounded again like a massive weight would jump off in the air.

I never shared this encounter before, because I felt pretty alone with it. Until last night, when I went on Reddit to look for someone from Germany who experienced something similar.

His post is today 24 days ago: He and his hunting buddy heard the same screaming sounds from a cow field, then they were chased for a short time by something but couldn't see it. Reading about his encounter made me want to step forward with mine as well.

Since there are quiet some confusing aspects / details to my encounter, it's a bit hard to find someone with a similar experience." OG

Tall Green 'Fire Entity' Humanoid Encountered at Haunted Home in Middletown, Ohio

An Army Veteran recalls an encounter with a tall green 'fire entity' humanoid that occurred when he was 11 years old, soon after moving into a haunted residence in Middletown, Ohio.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

Justin, an 8-year Army veteran, recalls that when he was 11 years old, his family moved into a two-level house in Middletown, Ohio that had a dark history. The landlord, a family friend, had informed them that they could have the place but they needed to clean it up as there were dead animals and graffiti in the basement. It is believed that the house had been broken into and used for cult-type activity. Justin's family didn't much care.

After moving in, strange things began to happen including strange sounds, footsteps, growling, alarm clocks going off that weren't plugged in and numerous sightings of shadowy people (his older brother saw a tall one, while his mother saw a little boy). Justin admits that he did not see any shadow people, though he did see something and it was much more frightening.

His experience happened sometime after September 2001. Justin recalled that he had just had a fight with his parents. He was upset and did not want to go to bed. He was at the top of the stairs sulking when he noticed a light in the corner of his eye. He looked over to his left and observed, down the hallway, a strange figure standing there. He described it as a “big green mass of flames” standing around 7 feet tall. It seemed to have a somewhat humanoid form, and he could kind of make out a face though he could not tell if it had eyes. It was a color of green that he had not seen before or since. “What I'm looking at isn't human. This isn't right,” he told himself, before bolting down the stairs. As he did, he noticed that the entity seemed to hurl a strange greenish type of object (an orb?) at him. He had no idea what it was. During the sighting, there was absolutely no smell and there was no sound. He noted that it was one of the creepiest aspects, because when you see a fire, you expect to hear crackling, but it was completely dead silent.

He went downstairs and told his parents. When they went upstairs to check, the entity was gone. His father assumed he made up the story. Soon after this, his uncle's house, which was directly behind theirs, caught on fire. Nobody was injured but the house burned to the ground. Justin was unsure if his sighting of the fire entity was related to the fire at his uncle's though given the timing, he thought it was curious. Justin was so traumatized by the sighting of the entity that his family made him see a counsellor.
