Unidentified PEANUT-SHAPED CREATURE Observed in Vorarlberg, Austria (SKETCH)

An Austrian witness describes a screaming or squealing creature that was shaped like a 'peanut.' They provided a sketch of what they observed. What was this creature?

The following account was forwarded to me:

"About 5 years ago during the summer, I had a really weird encounter with an animal/cryptid. I was on my laptop watching YouTube videos at like 1am when the noise started. I was wearing headphones and didn't give it much attention. At first, I assumed it was two cats because there had been a bunch of fights between the neighbor cats during the last few weeks. But when I paused the video, I realized it sounded very different. Like a mix of a screaming fox and a squealing pig. It was very high-pitched.

I didn't get up right away, because I was a little freaked out and was hoping it would just stop. But several minutes passed and it went on and on. It was seriously ear-piercingly loud and it got worse the more time passed. So I was like, OK, WTF is that? I went out onto the balcony of our house and looked down since the noise was coming from down there. And I saw an... animal? I think it was trying to push over our trash can and got frustrated.

From above, it had a bean or peanut-shaped body and didn't appear to have a tail, ears, or even a snout. Its head wasn't distinctively separated from the body, it was just... a peanut. It was a brownish colour, but I can't tell for sure, because it was illuminated by the orange street lights on the other side of the road. It had two stripes running along its body, similar to the markings of a baby wild boar. But it honestly looked like it didn't even have fur, it was just very smooth. Probably about the size of a French Bulldog. It also looked like it didn't have paws or hooves, its legs just kind of.... ended. I couldn't make out its face, because it was too dark.

Like the idiot I am, I instinctively said "Shhhh." because that's what I do when my dogs are being noisy. It immediately stopped squeaking and looked up at me. And then it turned and started stiffly hopping away on those weirdly thin legs. It was running away but didn't move very fast. I grabbed a blanket and ran downstairs as quickly as I could, my first thought being that it was a lost animal and I needed to catch it. I unlocked the door and ran out onto the street in my pajamas and with bare feet. I ran around the corner, since it headed in that direction, expecting to see it a few meters away (again, it didn't move very fast), but it was completely gone. There was no way for it to have gone into the neighbor's garden, because of the wooden fence. The rest of the street was completely empty as well, also being lit up by street lights. I walked up and down both directions of the road without seeing or hearing it at all. So I had to give up and go back inside.

My parents had woken up from me going down the stairs and were obviously confused. When I told them about what happened, they said they didn't hear a thing. They're both very light sleepers, so I couldn't believe that they didn't hear the incredibly loud noise it had been making for the past 10 minutes right outside our house. We have really thin walls too, I can hear someone having a conversation downstairs when I'm upstairs in my room. So for them to not hear that thing, but hear me running down the stairs was weird. My little sister said she didn't hear anything either, and she's also a very light sleeper. None of the neighbors heard anything either.

I live in Vorarlberg Austria by the way, some running onto the street in the middle of the night wasn't dangerous, after 11 pm there are literally no cars on the road anymore. We do live quite close to a bunch of fields, but the only animals that live in our area are hedgehogs, ferrets or weasels, mice, rats, and rabbits. Birds, frogs and snakes too of course. We also have a few farms close to us, but the only animals they have are cows, goats, and sheep. A coworker of mine said it could have been a badger, but it looked very different and didn't sound like one. Not to mention that there aren't any badgers that live in the area. I was hoping it would return, so I could find out what it was, but it never showed up again.

Of course, it was dark and already pretty late, so I guess my eyes could have been playing tricks on me, even though I highly doubt it. If any of you guys have an idea what animal it could have been, please let me know, because this has been bothering me ever since it happened. I've been calling it the "Peanut Cryptid" or "Bean Boy". C

SPINDLY-LEGGED CRYPTID Encountered in the Pacific Northwest (SKETCH)

Bizarre cryptid or being encountered by the witness's boyfriend while driving to her home. A sketch of the creature is included. This incident occurred in the rural Pacific Northwest.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"I'm just gonna go straight into it. My boyfriend and I live in the woods of the upper Pacific Northwest. He was coming to visit me one night around 11pm and frantically came into my room talking about the "thing on the road he had to brake for."

He described it as having four long spindly animal-like legs. Its body was one segment and was only about a fourth of the length that its legs were. He wasn't close enough to discern if it had hair/fur/hide etc, or what its feet looked like. He said it had big eyes reflecting the light and ran "like a deer." It was only about 4-5 feet tall. He claims he wasn't scared of it, and that it felt more like a prey animal over a predator.

I have attached a drawing, albeit rather crude, which is the one he drew for me when I asked him to. This isn't a prank. He doesn't do pranks, and he does not have a history of mental illness.

Has someone seen something like this, or does they know possibly what this could be? It’s not humanoid in appearance. After doing some research my boyfriend said it looks kind of like a cryptid called a “stilt walker” or a “strider?” I’m just looking for answers." C

'SEEING' PERCY: Experiencer's Deep South Ghost Tale

I received the following narrative from a reader in 2014. I was aware of a similar account but the witness assures me that this encounter actually happened to her:

"When I was 10 years old, my grandmother started to recall stories about a special friend, by the name of Percy, who she had when she was a girl. My grandmother lived in the same house since she was born, a huge old Antebellum-era house just outside of Elba, Alabama.

Apparently, Percy was a young adult and she was 10 years old when she met him. She would sometimes see him on the edge of the woods not far from the house and when she would tell her family to look they would see nothing. After a while people started to think she was crazy, saying ‘It’s just your imagination’. So she eventually gave up saying she was just playing a joke, though she still continued to see him. She would say that he was very nice and kind, as well as very handsome.

When I was 12, I was staying at my grandmother's house during my summer vacation. I was unpacking my suitcase in one of the bedrooms. As I tried to pull open one of the dresser drawers, it wouldn’t budge at all. I yanked, groaned, and moaned but to no avail. After about 5 minutes of desperation, I heard a low-pitched chuckle. I turned around, but nothing was there. I was completely puzzled because I knew what I heard, but decided to brush it off.

Several years later my grandmother passed away. My family and I decided to stay at my grandmother's house during the time of her viewing and funeral since we lived about 5 hours away.

The funeral was conducted at her house in the large front living room. After the ceremony, the pallbearers carried her casket to the hearse parked in the front when I noticed out of the corner of my eye someone quickly running into the bushes at the edge of the woods. I thought it may have been one of the neighbors though the nearest farm was about a mile or so away.

That night I was in the same room where I usually slept at my grandmother's house, which was her old bedroom when she was a child. As I lay in the bed, I heard soft moans and whimpering. The sound was coming from the direction of the window and balcony. The evening was very dark and moonlight peaking through the trees, the only source of illumination. As my eyes adjusted I could make out the figure of a man, but more of a shadow instead of a solid body. The specter was sitting down on the balcony floor, its elbows resting on its knees and its head hung down in its hands.

After a few moments, the figure became somewhat clearer and I realized that this was Percy. I called out 'Percy?' The spirit raised its head and slowly looked in my direction. He was exactly as my grandmother had described though I only saw his face for a second as he quickly vanished. I didn’t know whether it had been a dream or what, so I decided to keep my mouth shut, not wanting people to think I was delusional.

The next night while I slept, I felt a cold brush-by on my cheek. My eyes snapped open and the young man I had seen the night before was looking at me. He appeared blurry but still recognizable with light brown hair and bright blue eyes. He stared at me and smiled, then quickly dissipated.

The next morning we prepared to leave for home. I sat on the edge of the bed and thought about what had transpired the previous days. A few minutes later, we were in the car ready to pull away when I decided to look out the side window towards the woods. There he stood, arms by his side but staring directly at me. He quickly turned and vanished into the bushes. I just knew I would never see him again.

I later found out that Percy was the son of a wealthy landowner who built and lived in my grandmother's house in the 1850s. One day, at the age of 20, Percy simply disappeared and was never heard from again. There had been a rumor that he was killed by a slave who worked on a nearby plantation but a body was never recovered.

That was 25 years ago, but I still see Percy in my mind's eye. I was able to talk to the current owner of the house recently who says they occasionally hear someone talking softly on moonlit nights. I have little doubt that Percy is still at home." M - Asheville, NC

(PHOTO) VRKOLAK! Bulgaria's Werewolf Tradition

A farmer in a small village in Macedonia is digging up a new part of his field when the plow hits an object. It's a box that's chained shut. Being brave and curious (and probably hoping it contained gold or something that might get him his own reality show), he opened the box and found a strange skull that looked to him to be from a werewolf or 'Vrkolak' in the local language. Is it?

That is the story a farmer named Trayche from Novo Selo Stipsko in Macedonia told Filip Ganov, a Bulgarian student who was in the village doing research on the Balkan Wars. The inside lid of the box contains lettering in Cyrillic script which is common in Bulgarian and Macedonian languages. No translation was given of the lettering, which would have been helpful.

Trayche would not part with his werewolf skull but he did let Ganov take pictures, which were presented to a wildlife expert in Bulgaria who speculated that it was indeed from a wolf but not necessarily a werewolf. Instead, he surmised the wolf was suffering from Paget's disease, a genetic disorder (also common in humans) that can cause misshapen bones and enlarged skulls. Paget's disease can be caused by canine distemper virus, a common virus in wolves and dogs.

The skull definitely looks both canine and human and a little baboonish, which would probably cause some consternation among Bulgarians and Macedonians raised on Eastern European folklore. The chain around the box is a good indication whoever buried it believed it was a creature they did not want roaming around again.

So, is Trayche's skull-in-a-box from a werewolf? It's definitely a creature that's out of the norm. Only a DNA test will tell. Until then, Trayche probably keeps digging and hoping for a reality show. - IOKH

The Vrkolak From Bulgaria

Werewolves have become one of the seminal spooks of monster culture, second in popularity only to the vampires. Werewolf lore can be found all around the world. Let's take a look at the Vrkolak, Bulgaria's favorite fullmoonophile.

Bulgaria is a country rich with superstition, and its folklore includes tales of vampires, fountain spirits, treasure guardians, and more.

These photos come to us from one of our readers, Filip, who gave us the inside scoop on werewolves in Bulgarian folklore. He stumbled upon this quite by accident: Filip is actually a historian. "While I was doing research for my book on the Balkan Wars I spent time in a small village, Novo Selo, close to Stip in Macedonia. I met a farmer named Trayche, who claimed to have found a box, chained shut, containing a werewolf while plowing a new section of the field," explained Filip.

Depending on where you find yourself in Europe, werewolves may be linked to vampires. Sabine Baring-Gould explains the many variations of lycanthrope folklore in "The Book of Werewolves," noting the term "vrkolak" resembles the Greek term "bourkolakas."

"The Greek werewolf is closely related to the vampire. The lycanthropist falls into a cataleptic trance, during which his soul leaves his body, enters that of a wolf, and ravens for blood. On the return of the soul, the body is exhausted and aches as though it had been put through violent exercise. After death lycanthropists become vampires. They are believed to frequent battlefields in wolf or hyena shapes, and to suck the breath from dying soldiers, or to enter houses and steal the infants from their cradles," Baring-Gould writes.

Where did this concept of a werewolf come from? In some ways, it could be a misunderstanding of a disease or an interpretation of older myths and beliefs. "I took some pictures and shared them with a government wildlife official. He said that it was most likely a wolf that suffered from Paget disease, which caused the skull to increase in size and appear more human-like. It wasn't long ago people or animals with malformations were thought to be demon-possessed. So, it is not unusual that a wolf with bone disease would be labeled as a werewolf," Filip said. - IBTimes

GIANT WHITE LIZARD & SASQUATCH Fiercely Battle in Washington Forest

A giant white lizard and a Sasquatch battle each other while the witness observes the confrontation while hiking in the Washington forest near Kirkland.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"The witness was out hiking in the woods around Kirkland, Washington. He soon came upon a creature climbing a tree. Initially, he thought it was a giant white lizard. As he examined it, he made out that it was a translucent creature with a tail. Its body almost looked like an exoskeleton with stubby little legs or appendages. It turned its head around backward and was looking directly at him, making a snapping noise with its mouth. Its face had jagged bumps on the top and bottom and the witness could not tell where the teeth were or if the bumps were teeth.

Suddenly, he began to hear a whooping noise. Just then, a creature came crashing through the brush. The white creature turned its head to listen and then began to scale further up the tree. A large blackish-brown bipedal creature (he recognized that it was a Sasquatch, though it was not similar to the one he had observed in 2003) suddenly came around the tree and grabbed it. The white creature whipped its tail, hitting its arm. Seemingly surprised, the white creature shrieked out, turned, and leaped onto the Sasquatch. Despite it being four times its size, the white creature fought wildly, crawling all over it and “burning it” with some type of substance that the witness assumed was some type of venom (“something was coming off of it”) which caused the Sasquatch to shriek in pain. Smoke was visible anytime the white creature would lean in to bite (though no spit was ever seen coming out of its mouth).

After some time, the Sasquatch grabbed the white creature by its head and pulled it off. The white creature flipped forward and then its head spun 360° around. It bit the Sasquatch’s arm. The Sasquatch threw it against the tree and punched it, causing it to splat, similar to a fried egg. The white creature seemed to do this on purpose, elongating itself around the tree to absorb the blow. The white creature then hopped to another tree and the Sasquatch followed, attempting to hit it with a stick. Eventually, the white thing fell out of the tree and ran into the woods. The Sasquatch followed it.

The witness had no idea why, but the Sasquatch appeared to want to kill the white creature." D

(VIDEO) Multiple Similar ORANGE ORB UFOs/UAPs Recorded Over West Virginia & Pennsylvania

I have been receiving numerous UFO/UAP reports from the public via phone and email throughout 2024. June through November has been steadily busy with UFO/UAP observations from various locations across Pennsylvania. Some were observations of wingless cigar-shaped objects, as well as triangular objects. Many of the sightings, however, were described as orbs, spherical objects that were sometimes observed high in the sky. In some cases, the objects appeared at a lower altitude, and some were described as being remarkably close to the ground. At times, more than one object was observed. Unusual animal reactions were reported during some of those incidents.

Ron Lanham of the Wild & Weird West Virginia research team informed me that on November 2, 2024, while investigating an area with a history of UFO sightings and other anomalies, they obtained some interesting footage of an unusual orange ball moving across the sky using a high-quality night vision device. The object can be clearly seen in the video moving at a fast pace and making turns before vanishing in a purple flash.

UFO Fly Over Caught On Night Vision, Is this NHI or a UAP?

November 5, 2024-Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, PA.

What increased my interest in the November 2nd West Virginia sighting of the orange ball was another sighting report that I had received that occurred three days later in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The witness was in her kitchen early that evening when she noticed a white flashing light over a nearby field. The woman first thought it was an aircraft, however as she continued to watch, she realized that the flashing light appeared to be motionless in that area. The flashing also appeared to be only about 450-500 feet above the ground.

The witness was curious and grabbed her phone and walked outside to obtain a better look. When she arrived outside, she observed one more white flash. That white flash then suddenly became an orange ball of light. The luminous ball moved around slightly but overall remained stationary in the same location. The witness observed the orange orb for over a minute when it suddenly just went black and was gone. It never appeared again. The witness was able to obtain a short video of the object. That object looks quite similar to what was recorded in West Virginia.

"In the summer of 2002, my girlfriend and I were sleeping in my room. We lived near Evansville, Indiana. I stayed with my parents at the time. Their home was in the country and had ceiling windows all throughout the home.

Around 2am, my girlfriend woke up screaming and very scared. Immediately I had to cover my ears and my eyes. A beeping/buzzing sound was coming from above our home, however, it was the light that made it unable to see. The bright, intense light filled my parent's 4000 square foot home like it was the middle of the day. I was blinded by the light and so was my girlfriend. We couldn’t see anything and heard a very very loud beeping sound and kind of buzzing as well. Now I was scared like never before. She was freaking out more.

I told her to stay in the bedroom and I was going to check on my parents. She refused to leave me. The sound and the lights were very intense. I made it to my parent's bedroom on the first floor (without a ceiling window). I yelled in and woke them up. I said, 'Mom, Dad are you hearing and seeing this?' At about that time standing at the door the lights were gone and the sounds also. They were gone in a split second. I went back upstairs and we spoke about it for about an hour asking what in the world it could have been.

One evening here recently I had a dream that on that evening I floated out of my window and it was during that time that my girlfriend woke me up. I guess I never reported it because it was too strange to report. I am not sure if I was actually abducted or not but the image of me floating through my window seems pretty real. That is the only memory I have." M

BLACK-FACED, SHAPE-SHIFTING 'WITCH' Encountered Multiple Times

Native siblings encounter, what they believe is, a shape-shifting witch with a black-painted face multiple times while driving home at night.

I received the following account:

"Hello, Sir. I believe I once witnessed a shape-shifting witch! My older brother, older sister, and I were going home for the weekend. We were coming in from Phoenix, Arizona. We had to leave pretty late. It usually takes us 5 hours to get home, which is in Low Mountain near Pinon, AZ.

We drove toward Keams Canyon highway and took a certain dirt road that would take us straight to Low Mountain. Before we reached the dirt road we noticed a very old lady walking on the side of the highway with a cane at 2 o'clock in the morning! She had her scarf around her head, a long black jacket, and wearing a green dress. We did not think anything of it but thought it was weird that she was walking late at night on a highway. The reservation is really dark at night and there is hardly anyone driving on the roads. We eventually turned on the dirt road.

A mile away from the highway we noticed the same old lady walking on the side of the dirt road with her cane. I freaked out! I started crying because we knew that it was the same lady 15 miles back. My brother stepped on the gas and started driving faster. We eventually got to a highway that took us to Chinle, Low Mountain, or Pinon. We passed the first bridge and we noticed that the old lady was sitting on the highway with her head down waving the cane in the air. Before we could pass her the car just shut down and wouldn't start. The old lady stood up facing the opposite way from us, so we wouldn't see her face and walked across the other side of the road. She turned her head to face us and her face was painted all black. She kept walking and eventually disappeared in the distance. My brother turned the ignition and the car started!! It scared the hell out of me! I was crying so bad that I never wanted to drive through the road again.

When we got home we told my parents about it. My Dad said that there was an old couple that lived between the two highways that did bad medicine on people. He also said that her husband had passed on not long ago and that she walks that road every now and then. They had two kids; one of them passed away at a very young age with an unknown cause of death and the other one drinks and huffs. We ended up driving back the longer way which was taking the highway to the junction road and going toward Ganado. It was very real and very scary." J

TALL, PALE, FEATURELESS HUMANOID Stares at Vermont Witness Through Window

In 2011, during the winter in Vermont, Joan had gone to pick up herdaughter, Mia, who was just getting offwork. It was around 1:45 AM. There was ablizzard and Joan, despite driving cautiously,ended up being involved in a minor ice-relatedaccident which left the vehicle with a puncturedtire. They decided to abandon the car and justwalk home, as it was less than 10 minutes away.

Thedaughter was the first to notice, through the hazeof snow, a figure standing about 20 feet away.“When we got a few feet closer the streetlight was shining on it. It was this really tall,skinny thing,” Joan recalled. She estimated thatit was between 10 and 13 feet tall. Its heightterrified them and they immediately ran forhome. Through the sound of the wind, both swearthey could hear a ‘sinister laughter’ as they ran.

They made it to the house and locked the door.They waited up to see if it had followed them. Ithadn’t. After talking about the experience forsome time, both eventually turned in for thenight. At around 4:00 AM, Mia woke her mothertelling her that someone was tapping on herwindow. Both women went and investigated.Joan claims she pulled up the blind andfound herself staring into the face of a pale greyor whitish creature with “slanted black eyesockets, not eyes like humans.” She noted thatinstead of a nose it had “black spots” where thenose should be. “I didn't see any mouth at all.”She immediately released the string, and theblind closed.

The police were notified and theyarrived within the hour. She did not tell themwhat they had seen only that they thought apredator had been looking in their window. Theofficers went and checked. “They walkedaround the house and returned about 10 minuteslater saying they had found odd-lookingfootprints. They said that the prints left in thesnow were really unusual. They said first it wasodd that they weren't wearing any shoes and thatthe footsteps in the snow had an odd shape,almost more like the shape of a hand than a footand they only saw the impression of three longtoes on each footprint, so they said it was themost peculiar thing to them that the footstepswere only outside of Mia's window. No footsteps were leading to the window or awayfrom it.”
