Mother Describes Her Daughter's 'ALIEN FRIEND'

A woman contacted me about her toddler daughter, who seemed to be an 'Indigo Child.' The girl would tell her mother about 'Kaney,' her friend. Imaginary friend? You be the judge.

I received the following account:

"Hello. Thank you for reading my story. My journey with alien beings began in 1989. My daughter was 2 years old then. Let me tell you a little about her. She was a very mentally advanced baby. Communication was no problem with her. She could talk in complete sentences, use words beyond a 2-year-old's vocabulary, and know the meanings. I believe that she could have been, what they now call, an 'Indigo Child.' Around this time she developed an imaginary playmate named Kaney. Like most children's imaginary friends, there would be spots set at the table for her, asking her what she'd like from menus, saying good night to her, etc., just as if another child was around. She was so serious about Kaney. Sometimes I wonder about all this. Why this sudden friend? She's not the only child and has lots of family around.

The odd thing was, that my daughter told me that Kaney scared her. I would ask why and she said, "Cause she looks like a monster, like she's wearing a mask." At night it would scare her when Kaney would come out of the closet. One morning she had told me of a very vivid dream she had which Kaney had come to her and took her and her brother up to the 'station.' She said my son doesn't like Kaney or going with them. She said it kind of burns your feet when you go up, but she likes to go because she can see all the kids there. She also said it's fun when they let you float and that the 'station' is purple inside. I think she's had a very lucid dream and an interesting imagination.

One day while doing dishes and my daughter behind me playing there was a loud knocking on the door upstairs. No one was home that day other than the two of us - it was knocking in groups of threes. I asked her if she heard that - she said, 'Yeah, it's Kaney!' I was very freaked out by this. I finally went up there and no one was there! Around this time my daughter told me Kaney didn't scare her now. Asking why, she replied she had taken off her mask, and looks normal now! All this continued for about 8 or 9 months and then the day came we went to visit my mom. I was talking to her in the kitchen when I heard my daughter yelling 'MOM! there's Kaney!' I go into the living room and on my mother's coffee table sits the book 'Communion' and my daughter happily points at the cover saying 'Look, it's Kaney!'

I thought what in the world. My expression must have said it all. My mother just looks at me and nonchalantly says take it home and read it. I kept saying 'What is it?' Her reply was to just read it. So I did just that - it shook my foundations, to say the least. While reading it, I noticed similar experiences with my children - my family, my life. I was terrified!

I've always been an open-minded person and even believed in life elsewhere, but I was unaware of alien abductions. At the same time, I was becoming so aware of my life and all the strange experiences I've ever had and where it was leading. But the biggest awareness was about children and how they experience abductions. Young children haven't been conditioned to believe what society thinks we should believe. So when you think a child is just full of imagination and stories of make-believe, one day you may wake up to a true reality check!" A

GHOSTS, DISEMBODIED VOICES, & MUTILATED CATS Were All Part Of Our Creepy House!

A Pennsylvania woman describes various odd occurrences in the house she lived in when younger. Eventually, her mother opened up to her about a truly disturbing discovery that she had!

I received the following account:

"Hello, Lon. I really enjoy your reports about divine intervention and Angels. I decided that I would send you a personal story.

My sister is a year and a half younger than me and a cancer survivor. During this period in our lives, she was still undergoing chemotherapy treatments and we needed it to be as close as possible to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. So we end up finding a reasonable rental in Chester, Pennsylvania.

The neighborhood was quiet, our neighbors were pretty nice, and from what I could remember at least on the surface the house we were staying in was quite nice.

I didn't really know what a ghost was at the time. I was maybe 8 years old. We were there for maybe a month when some of the experiences occurred. In order to pay my sister's medical bills, my mother took a job as a truck driver. She could be away 3 to 4 days at a time and during those periods she would get my older cousin to stay at the house in order to babysit.

It was during one of these periods our first paranormal experience happened. My mom was working for Toys R Us, and she had to haul a load from Pennsylvania to Kentucky. There's a good chance she wouldn't be back until sometime the next day and so my cousin stepped in. Now it wasn't uncommon for her to be on the phone with her boyfriend or one of her other friends and completely lose track of time. Now it's August, my room is freezing and I'm having a hard time trying to sleep.

As I'm laying there debating whether or not it was worth catching hell for being up well past my bedtime I hear whispering. Kind of like a muffled conversation between two people. I figured, "Okay, she's on the phone with her boyfriend. If I sneak into the living room to check the AC dial, she won't notice me as long as I'm quiet." So I went downstairs as quickly and as quietly as my little legs could carry me. I checked the air conditioner and it was set to 73 degrees. My mom left it on that setting when she went out the door and it had not been changed. On my way back to my room, I peered into the parlor to find my cousin fast asleep on my mom's day bed. Judging by how hard she was snoring, she could not have been having a conversation when I heard it.

I went back to my room and just brushed the whole thing off as my mind played tricks on me. I attempt to go back to sleep and then the muffled conversation is still going on. So I get up and look out my window, and aside from a couple of stray cats in the neighbor's yard no other signs of life, let alone human. This muffled conversation carried on until the sunlight started to breach the horizon.

I got zero sleep that night and I dragged all the next day. I was so tired that I ended up falling asleep standing up at one point. I never told my cousin all of the details as to why I was so tired, just that I couldn't sleep.

She babied me the majority of the day because she figured maybe I was coming down with something. When my mom came in the door later on that night she clued her in on the fact that I might have been sick and we had to be careful with me around my sister due to her compromised immune system.

I told my mother everything in detail because something inside me told me she would take me seriously. She told me to go to sleep down on the daybed just to be on the safe side. She slept in my room that night.

The next morning she yelled at me because she thought I was messing around with the air conditioning unit and had somehow turned on the heat. When she got up to check the AC as I'd done the previous night, there it sat at 73 completely untouched. She was up opening up my vents looking for clogs or obstructions of any kind only to find nothing. The vents were squeaky clean and according to her, my room was well over 90 degrees.

Mom figured there was something wrong with the unit itself and until our landlord came by to repair it the parlor was my makeshift bedroom. My cousin would sleep in my mom's room from that point forward.

It took a few weeks but the landlord finally came by to give the unit a look and he could find nothing wrong. As it turns out the guy installed HVAC for a living and all of the vents were practically brand new. He couldn't make heads or tails of the whole situation.

Eventually Autumn came and my room was mine once again. It appeared the whacked-out temperature in my room was a thing of the past. I no longer heard the whispered conversations, but that wasn't the end of things.

Outside of my window was this old rusted fire escape. At random times in the night, I would hear the ladder come down and people start climbing up and down. There was only one problem with this. The ladder was so badly damaged due to age it had been removed thus rendering the fire escape practically useless. One night I'd just gotten sick of it so I made my way over to the window to get visual confirmation as to what may have been causing all of the noise.

I distinctly remember seeing a solid gray figure resembling an early teenage boy dressed in clothing from the 1940s era. I could see right through him. He had a look on his face that could only be described as one of distress. He looks right at me and I lock up. I couldn't scream, I couldn't breathe, I was so paralyzed with fear I urinated on myself.

He stared at me for what seemed like an eternity before he sprang away like smoke off of the end of a cigarette. I felt myself regain movement and I collapsed in a heap on the ground screaming for my mother.

She picked me up and from what she told me in later years, I was pale as a sheet and shaking uncontrollably. She said that the only other time she had seen such pure fear on my face was when I witnessed my neighbor's son almost killed by a hit-and-run drunk driver a few years later.

She had a few experiences of her own and these led to us moving out. She told me a man's boot print kept showing up on the carpet outside of her bedroom door. She described it as being a dark rusty color. She cleaned it several times and it just kept coming back like she'd done at nothing at all.

Between me seeing the ghost boy and a particularly disturbing discovery she found in a locked-off storage area under the cellar steps, it was time to get the hell out of Dodge.

I really had to press the issue for her to tell me what she found. I was about 30 years old when she finally opened up about the whole thing. The medicine cabinet in her bathroom had been loose for some time. Rather than bother the landlord about coming over to fix it she said that she would take it upon herself and see if he would just write it off on the next month's rent.

She took the wobbly medicine cabinet off of her bathroom wall and she found a skeleton key inside an old medicine bottle. She was curious to see what it went to and she inspected all the doors in the house. We didn't have an attic so she immediately ruled that out. She walked around the whole house only to find all the doors had been replaced and there was no way that he would have fit anything. And then it occurred to her she hadn't checked the cellar.

She grabbed the Maglite out of her truck and proceeded to walk around in a cellar until she came upon that door under the steps.

She opened it up and looked around inside with her flashlight and at first, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. There was a bunch of old toys from the late sixties and early seventies in there. As curiosity got the better of her she decided to crawl into this tiny room under the stairs and when she got to the corner of the room she found what she described as one of the most disturbing things she ever saw.

No less than 10 cat carcasses were stacked neatly in a corner! All of them were headless! An old dull and rusty knife with a curved, serrated blade sat next to them. When she turned around to get out of the room there were a bunch of cat skulls stacked on top of each other in a pyramid-like fashion. The words "ALL FOR YOU" were scrawled into the wall presumably by the same blade.

She made the conscious decision to move us out that day. We were packed and ready to go by the weekend.

Again, I've only told this to maybe three people and they always take it as me trying to scare them. I assure you, this isn't some campfire tale. Although I've never experienced anything since this, I still remember it like it was yesterday.

So here's my weird, creepy, paranormal experience. Take it as you will." C

BRIGHT ORBS Communicate With Witness in Father's Hospice Room

As her father lay in Hospice care, the witness, in a chair nearby, was awoken by a bright light in her eyes. She then saw 3 orbs. She heard the orbs then talk to her, then entered her father's head.

I received the following account:

"Hello. I lived with and took care of my Dad when he was terminally ill with esophagus cancer. He fought bravely for 4 years. We had both been through the traumatic experience of losing my Mom, his wife of 30+ years, very suddenly to pancreatic cancer. He didn’t know how to live without her, and neither did I, but we got through it somehow. So when he said he was going to fight cancer with chemo, radiation, and then a very extensive surgery, I was so happy, but I knew he really wanted to be reunited with my Mom.

But after 4 years of fighting it, his journey was coming to an end. He had been on hospice and his time was running out. I was exhausted from being his main caregiver. The last weeks of life were me administering meds to him every 2 hours. So needless to say, I had been very low on sleep. I had such a relationship with my Dad that a lot of times, I knew what he needed or wanted before he would even speak a word of it, almost telepathic in a way.

I had just administered his meds, and I went to lie back down in his bed because he was in a hospital bed now and we were in the same room. He had blackout curtains because he was a night owl his entire life, and worked the night shift also, so he still slept during the day and never got out of that habit. I must’ve been asleep for maybe 30 minutes or so, but something woke me up. I didn’t open my eyes, I just listened to see if Dad was talking to me and hoped I could go back to sleep until my alarm went off to give him his meds. What happened next only lasted seconds, but I can look back at the memory and see it in slow motion.

So as I’m listening with my eyes still closed wondering what awoken me, I get the brightest light shining in my face. It was warm, and just blinding; as if the sun was right in front of me. The light dimmed and I saw 3 orbs. One in front, 2 in the back, like a triangle, each orb the size of a cantaloupe. And then I hear a voice say, “Thank you for taking such wonderful care of your father, but we will take over from here.” The orbs travel down to my feet, and over to where my dad was in his bed. They circle his head and then they enter my Dad's head. I sat up instantly and looked around the room wondering what the hell just happened. And then the orbs said, “6 days.” He had 6 more days left on this Earth in his body.

I looked around the room to make sure none of the blackout curtains had lifted, to explain the light. Checked the home to make sure no family members had stopped by or anyone else and shone a flashlight in the room. But everything was how it was supposed to be.

I had texted my friend and a few family members about this experience. And I told them I was either so sleep-deprived that I was having hallucinations or that this really happened. And that in 6 days Dad will pass.

And that’s exactly what happened. He passed away 6 days after this happened. I don’t know why it happened to me. I don’t consider myself religious, but I am spiritual. Part of me thinks that I needed to be reminded that we are souls having a human experience, and not the other way around. I went into such a dark place after losing my Mom to cancer, I honestly can’t say where I would be after losing my Dad too. But that experience brought some sort of peace to me, it helped me come to terms with losing both of my parents to cancer at a relatively young age. And it reminded my soul that there is more than just this material world." T

CLIPBOARD HOLDING, REPTILIAN HUMANOID Manifests in Experiencer's Bedroom!

The experiencer was awakened by a loud popping sound in their bedroom. A vague, shadowy figure emerged, developing into a reptilian humanoid holding a clipboard.

I received the following account:

"One night in 2019, while I was sleeping in my bedroom, I heard a loud pop, similar to a firecracker but not quite as loud. I thought it might have been my computer/some sort of electrical short, so I woke up and looked at my computer to see if there was a fire or something. I didn't see anything in the dark, so I relaxed and shifted to lay on my back to go back to sleep, looking up at the ceiling. Within a couple seconds, I started to notice some sort of vague, shadowy figure, as if it were standing next to my bed and waving a hand over me. I've seen shapes like this before so I watched the hand out of curiosity.

Then, the hand went away and I felt the side of my bed dip down as if something was pushing down on it, slow enough as if not to scare me, yet firm enough to be very noticeable.

This was surprising but I wasn't scared. I looked to where the shadow was 'standing,' and out from the dark, for a brief moment, a reptilian-looking humanoid appeared there, wearing a plain and slightly loose shirt and holding a clipboard with his left hand and holding a pen/something in his right, as if making a note. His head was in profile to me, turned to his left so I was looking at the right side of his face. His eye stood out to me the most. He looked concerned, with round pupils, fairly large in size, and almost cartoony-looking, but kind. I could see scales outlined on his skin, and he had larger scales along his prominent brow. he had a smallish sort of beak/nose and it looked like his upper lip covered down to his bottom jaw (aka no discernable lips/mouth). his shoulders were very broad, more broad than most humans, and he seemed a bit shorter than a typical human if I had to guess. I didn't see anything below where his elbows sat around his midsection, so I don't know what his legs or feet looked like.

The way it looked was like he and his details were outlined in the lights you see when you press on your eyes. That kind of greenish/yellowish/slightly rainbowy look. quite bright in the dark but still kind of faint. It was very brief, like a second, but very detailed and in the center of my vision.

I have no idea what to make of it but I'll never forget it. I tried drawing him once, but unfortunately, I don't have it with me. I wonder a LOT about it." S

CREEPY, LARGE-HEADED, HUMAN-SIZED FIGURE Observed Under Railroad Bridge in Iowa City, Iowa

The eyewitness, while a student at the University of Iowa, described seeing a dark human-sized figure with a large head on several occasions while running at night.

I received the following account:

"Hi. I used to go running and take a break at a railroad bridge in Iowa City, Iowa when I went to college there. I did a lot of night runs. Sometimes, only after dark, I'd hear something swimming around at that railroad bridge. The bridge was located southeast of the University of Iowa over the Iowa River. Maybe human or deer-sized.

One time, it was late and I heard it again. But this time, I could see something dark on the water. Looked like a profile of a very large head.

I said, "Hello, someone there?" It stopped dead still and looked at me. It was dark but I could tell it was looking right at me. This went on for 30 seconds or a minute. It then went under, and I never saw or heard it again.

I told myself it was a person swimming. But why not say 'Hi' back? Also, where did it go under? It was a slow river, I would have heard it surfacing or getting out of the water unless it went over a hundred feet.

Some people are saying beavers and otters. I've seen river otters (but not in the US), it was far too big to be a normal-sized one. I've never seen the 6-foot ones, and I don't think they live anywhere near Iowa. It was much too big to be a beaver too, I see those all the time, and they're usually denoted by telltale signs such as dams and chewed trees. Also, I've never seen beavers active at night only during the day. I think it was probably just a person, maybe a homeless person who wanted to not be bothered by me.

As I said, that's the closest I've come to seeing a cryptid. Has anyone ever mentioned a sighting near that bridge before?" O

CRYPTID CANINE Sightings by Two Florida Brothers...at Different Locations

About a decade ago I received a narrative from a reader who forwarded a 'werewolf' incident that occurred in and around Sarasota, Florida. The account included the following statement:

"I was coming home and as I got closer to the tracks, there was this huge thing lying in the road. I thought it must have been a Mastiff or Great Dane in the road, but as I pulled up to it it didn't look like a dog I'd ever seen. It was hairy, it's head and nose was twice the size of a dog - the body wasn't a dog, just dog-like, but much, much bigger. It was all over the place, there was an arm on the road! Not dog a human arm."

In today's report, I received the description of two cryptid canine sightings by two different people at two different locations in Florida. Both of the witnesses were brothers! Tell me what you think:

"In the summer of 2018, my oldest son and his wife were traveling from Daytona Beach on Highway 100 towards Ocala. They were driving a work van with trailer going 60 mph around 12 midnight. There were no lights on the road but their headlights illuminated a creature standing on the side of the road looking across towards the other side of the road. As they were approching it never looked into the headlights but kept staring across the road.

The description was a bipedal wolf-like creature that appeared to be predominately bare-skinned, though there was hair on some parts of the body. They described the face as 'evil' with visible teeth. It was very tall. My son stated that it was everybit as tall as the van he was driving. They continued on their way, praying that they would not break down.

My youngest son was driving home along the same route he did every night. This was in Polk County, Fl. It was around 1:30 am. On consecutive nights, while traveling on the same stretch of road, a wolf-like creature ran in front of his car on all fours. It was HUGE - its back was four foot from the ground and had a large, well-developed muscular chest which tapered dramatically towards abdomen & flanks. It also had a large bushy tail.

Have there been similar reports anywhere in Florida?" C

PTERODACTYL-LIKE WINGED HUMANOID Reported in Lee County, Florida

A report referencing a winged humanoid sighting in Lee County, Florida. There were either two sightings of the same winged humanoid or there were others in the area.

I received the following account:

"Hi. I had an encounter with a bird-like creature but I know it wasn't a bird. It looked to be a flying person. I know it sounds weird and crazy but I know what I saw. Well here's the whole story. On February 5, 2018, around 11:30 pm my older sister and her husband were taking me, my little sister, my mom, and my two nieces to eat at Denny's in a nearby town (Fort Myers, FL). As we were driving on I-75 out of nowhere, through the windshield, I saw a person with wings fly over our car. It went over two times back and forth. I got a good look. It looked like a person with wings but then again it also looked like a pterodactyl (pterosaur). My brother-in-law also saw it and agreed with me. He says it was not a bird! Well, that was my encounter with the creature.

My nephew also witnessed a person-like creature. He was walking to his girlfriend's house late at night and by her neighbor's house, there are some trees. He said he saw a person/figure standing in the trees looking at him. He asked his girlfriend if she also saw it - she said that it was always there. He then started to walk closer to get a better view of it when the creature jumped off the tree onto his girlfriend's neighbor's fence causing it to make a rattling noise. The dogs started barking and then the creature flew off in front of his eyes. It then ran into his girlfriend's house scared it would come back but it didn't. My nephew's encounter happened in Lehigh Acres, FL a couple of days before my encounter happened! We have no clue as to what it is or why it would be following us?! It is very mind-boggling!" N

NOTE: While digging deep into the history of the area, I found another cryptid in Lee County, FL. This was a monster that was eventually reported in the local news:

"A correspondent contributes to the Fort Myers Press a story of an immense serpent lately seen crossing the Caloosahatchee river near Chokoloskee, and the Press calls upon The Herald to match the story. As we have no big snakes in this locality, The Herald gives it up and begs to repeat what it said to Col. Tom Appleyard, that it is not an authority on snakes; and as no one in the office drinks liquor, none of us have had the pleasure of seeing snakes.

But here is the narrative of the Lee County serpent as it appeared in last week’s Press:

Col. Demere and Ervin Lowe came down last Sunday [presumably October 4], and reported having seen an immense snake swim the river about two miles from here.

They say it appeared to be a great log on the water when they first saw it, but they learned it was a snake when they got to where it was, as the tail was just leaving the water on the south side of the river, and its head stood up four or five feet high, twenty yards from the river, and looked as large as a nail keg.

Of course, the reptile must have been between fifty and sixty feet long, and its body looked about the size of a flour barrel. Now this looks fishy, but no one in this section would doubt the veracity of either of these gentlemen.

We have since learned that the Indians have told of such a snake twenty years ago, having been seen by them in a certain swamp, and they always kept away from that swamp. This will give a good color to the snake story.

GREENISH-BROWN AQUATIC HUMANOID Attacks & Injures Fisherman's Dog!

A Northwestern Ontario fisherman, with his dog, came face-to-face with a greenish-brown humanoid. The dog was grabbed by this creature, sustaining an ear injury.

I received the following account:

"This encounter is hard to explain. I was fishing in a river in Northwestern Ontario, about a mile and a half from my grandmother’s house. I had always walked there and fished from the bank, where I’d gone since I was a kid. I was down fishing with my dog (named Queenie) and was sitting and leaning against a tree. Then my bobber went down hard and my rod almost went out of my hands. I figured I had a bass or catfish. For some reason though I started following my line as if something was drawing me in. Queenie was freaking out, growling and even biting my leg trying to get me back but I kept following it as if I were in a trance.

Then something broke the surface of the water in front of me, and all I could see was this torso and head of like a greenish-brown head and I saw its hand (yes a HAND) was pulling my line towards it and I was so scared but couldn’t stop as it brought me closer.

Then Queenie was between us barking and snapping at it and I was able suddenly to go back towards the bank, leaving everything. I saw it grab Queenie and grabbing at my knife I cut the line which I guess broke the trance. As I struggled out of the water I saw Queenie and grabbed her and ran out of the water. I heard a weird slapping sound and a grunt and I kept running until I was almost home.

I saw that Queenie was hurt, one of her ears was gone and bleeding and I finally got to the house. I was crying and threw her in the car and straight to the vet, still wet and shaking. I told him something got her and waited anxiously until he came back and said she was lucky, that he had extracted a tooth from her skull. He said it looked like an alligator tooth but I knew better. I never told my family about what happened but I knew damn well it wasn’t an alligator!" H
