O'HARE 'BATMAN' Encountered by Chicago Fireman at Airport Station 3

A Chicago Fireman, stationed at O'Hare Airport Station 3, was outside by his vehicle when he encountered a chirping red-eyed bat-winged humanoid standing on the top edge of a nearby building.

The following report was received by Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team investigator Manuel Navarette and posted at UFO Clearinghouse:

"I work for the Chicago Fire Department and have been stationed at O’Hare International Airport for the last seven years. This occurred on Thursday, December 29th, at about 2300 at O’Hare Station 3, which is just past terminal two and next to the HVAC plant that sits across the street.

I was in the middle of my shift and, as usual, I would bring my laptop with me to watch movies and play games on. I was setting up my laptop when I realized that I had left my charging cord in my pickup, so I got up and ran outside to go and grab it and head back in. As I got my cord, I heard what sounded like a chirping sound, followed by what sounded like shuffling coming from nearby. I looked around and that’s when I heard the clicking coming from across the street, I looked up, and standing on the edge of the HVAC plant was a very tall, thin human-like creature with huge wings that were spread out. This creature was looking directly at me with a pair of large red eyes that had the intensity of a pair of tail lights or one of the lights on the engine. It just stood there and looked at me and made this rapid clicking sound. I was in complete shock at what I was seeing and just how large this creature was and how enormous its wings were, they had to be close to 15 feet from tip to tip and it had to be at least 7 feet in height! The body was thin, and its limbs were very thin and long. They looked like they would be unable to support such a tall body, but apparently, looks can be deceiving from what I was looking at. We stared at each other for about 6-7 seconds before this thing flapped its wings and silently took to the air, and within a few seconds, it disappeared. I stood out there for at least a minute before coming to my senses and realizing I should get inside.

I went inside and told some of my coworkers. Besides the gentle ribbing, there was also an air of caution (more than usual considering our profession). A few of them spoke up and said that this was not the first time it had been seen and that it had been seen around the HVAC plant a few times by people and around the airport by hundreds of employees, passengers, and pilots. They said it had been seen by a few in the firehouse, but it never stuck around too long and was more content with just staring at you and scaring the bejesus out of people. You can’t work at O’Hare for any length of time without hearing about the O’Hare “Batman.” It’s practically a legend in and around the airport, and people always claim to see it all over the airport. We spent the better part of two hours talking about these sightings, many of my co-workers sharing their own experiences."

Investigator's Notes:

I was able to sit down and speak with the witness during the weekend and discovered that this witness is a ten-year veteran of the Chicago fire department and has been stationed at O’Hare for the last five years before that was in the military for over ten years. He has been a lifelong resident of the city of Chicago and has deep family roots within his community.

The witness stated that his shift began as any normal shift would and that there was nothing, particularly of interest going on during that time. He did state that the weekend before had seen record-setting low temperatures and winds that caused the airport to basically shut down. The following week brought temperatures that were well above normal in the sixties and low seventies and the sky was overcast with light drizzle coming down on the night of the sighting. The witness stated that he had brought his laptop as usual so that he could catch up on a movie that he had been watching and that he was setting up his laptop when he remembered that he forgot his charger in his truck.

He stated that he went outside and retrieved his charger from his vehicle and was on his way back inside when he heard a series of clicks and had an overwhelming feeling of being watched. Stated that he heard what sounded like shuffling That reminded him of one of his children dragging their feet along. He started looking around and that is when he looked to the top of the building next door that houses the heating and cooling plant for the airport.

He stated that he saw a tall, thin person standing on the edge, and that person was looking directly at him with eyes that glowed a brilliant red. He stated that the entity was looking directly at him and made no motion while they had eye contact. When asked if he felt anything while staring at this entity he stated other than obvious shock he did not feel any feeling of dread or impending doom.

When asked to describe the person or entity that was staring back at him he stated that It was thin and at least seven feet tall and had a pair of wings that were extended from its back. He stated that the wings must have been at least fifty feet in width and looked thin and membraned. He stated that the entity had arms and legs that were very thin and abnormally long and that the entire entity was a shade of black that was so black that it stood out against the night sky. He stated that no obvious features were recognizable other than the two eyes that were brilliant red.

He stated that the entity then began to slowly flap its wings and took off by jumping off the building and flying away into the night in a southerly direction. When asked if it disappeared into the night he stated that it was visible because the black stood out against a grey sky that was backlit by all the light at the airport for a few seconds before it was out of sight. The witness states that he stood there almost transfixed for upwards of a minute before he decided that it was prudent for him to get inside and tell somebody about what he had seen.

Once inside, the witness stated that he told his co-workers about what he had seen and even went into detail as to the description of this entity. He stated that besides the usual ribbing that he is used to from his co-workers, there was a palpable air of disbelief among those in the firehouse. The witness stated that he was told by his co-workers that the entity is dubbed the O’Hare “Batman” by some at the airport and that it has been seen by members of the firehouse multiple times. The entity seems to like perching itself on the HVAC building and observing the comings and goings of the firehouse and startling the members who work there.

The witness stated that he was told multiple stories by his co-workers of sightings and encounters with this winged entity. I documented all of them and have my contact information to the witness to pass along to his co-workers in hopes that they will come forward. I will detail these other sightings in another report to be published soon.

The Southern California contactee, George Adamski, during his keynote speech to the Scandinavian UFO Information (SUFOI) assembled in Denmark on 5 May 1963, lamented that since the dawn of the Age of Flying Saucers, “opportunists have made a new religion out of these important events (UFO sightings and encounters) with instructions given by supposed space people and spirits.”  His reasons for this critique follow below in Section IV:

Adamski was emphatic that, “The space people are no more spooks and spirits than we are here.  They have been made so by mysticism and that has hurt the program far more than even the other type of propaganda (government disinformation).  Their program is purely scientific and has nothing to do with any religion.  You do not have to change your belief to learn about the program any more than you have to change when you go to a university to study for an engineering degree.

“The program and the things that are happening in the sky belong to the population of the world, which is three billion people (in 1963, a little over eight billion today in 2023).  They all must be informed if the true benefits are to be enjoyed.”

Importance of Philosophy to Science and Religion

Many of Adamski followers wondered why he spoke so often of the space people’s philosophy, in contrast to their science or religion.  “You might ask why I have put so much of their philosophy in my book,” the contactee declared, further elaborating, “Well, philosophy is more scientific than anything else, as science is founded on philosophy, and so are religions.  So, one cannot talk about hardly anything without implicating philosophy; and that is why it was included in the books.  And the philosophy in Inside the Space Ships (1955) was not given for anyone to accept against their will.  But I have been asked, ‘What kind of life do thy lead?’ and ‘Do they believe in God?’  And the answers were put into the book.  But that does not mean that we have to accept their way of life, unless we want to.  If we think it is better, we, without any fear, can change if we want to; but I did not suggest in the book any religion that we have, or any other.”

Some Catholic Hierarchy Receptive

Adamski was raised in the Roman Catholic tradition, although his Uncle Sydney in Dunkirk, New York, early on in the young George Adamski’s life, beginning at the age of three, exposed him to the teachings of Helena Blavatsky and the leading lights of the Theosophical Society.  As a baptized Roman Catholic, however, Adamski took the opportunity to visit the Vatican when he lectured in Rome during his first European excursion four years earlier, in 1959.  Of his meeting with the Catholic hierarchy and their reception the space people’s cosmic philosophy, the contactee, noted: “The program is not religious at all, yet when I lectured in Rome in 1959, those who really understood the problem, like the forty cardinals (ecclesiastical leaders), accepted it on scientific grounds.  For they knew that humankind must progress and new things must come up, even in religious talks.  Humankind must be progressive and we are progressing towards a wonderful goal if we will survive the present uncertainty.”

(Cosmic Ray’s Commentary:  There is little doubt that the Bible and other sacred texts are replete with passages that attest to the presence of unusual visitors to the Earth, coming from the Celestial Realms, in times past.  These sacred accounts describe contacts between human beings and supposedly supernatural entities such as “angels,” “devils,” “ghosts,” “gods,” etc.   For the most part, these entities conform to an anthropomorphic body type, in their outward appearance, at least.  Given the extraordinary powers attributed to these beings from beyond Earth, it is not unreasonable to assume that some of these may, in fact, exist in a semi-material state.  This is evidenced by their alleged materializations and dematerializations and the working of miracles.  

In the majority of cases, these entities present themselves as peaceful messengers in service to humankind.  With the exception of the demons or devils, these entities have generally followed the verse of Hebrews 13:2 in the King James Version of the Bible: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”  In other words, angels are working on our behalf from behind the scenes, revealing themselves only when necessary. In this context, one could speculate that the terms “angels” and “aliens” are synonymous.  And with this acceptance, comes a knowledge and an understanding, or “gnosis,” that a true cosmic philosophy would concede a true spiritual component to the extraterrestrial hypothesis, i.e., the existence of intelligent life beyond the Earth that has been interacting with humankind since at least the beginning of our recorded history, if not since the very beginnings of life on this planet.

When taking into account the spiritual component in the Age of Flying Saucers, it becomes clear that the seeker of enlightenment in matters pertaining to this phenomenon, need not look to any specific religion or to give up their own religious belief system.  The student of cosmic philosophy can readily see the interventionist hands of the extraterrestrials in the formation of many religious systems that have helped to spur the evolutionary thought processes taking place in humankind down through the ages.  According to Dr. Marco Aurelio de Seixas, M.D., a Brazilian researcher into the extraterrestrial influence on the development of religions, “Extra-planetary people have always been in contact with humans.  This assertion is easily extracted from the argument that an abstract force, like a celestial being who descended to Earth to teach humanity, requires a philosophical reasoning unlikely to exist in an uneducated community of thousands of years ago and probably in many people today.”  (Hence, the need for contactees like Adamski to enlighten us and spread the gospel of our space brothers and sisters.)

Dr. Aurelio de Seixas continued, “To accept as true the universality of the evolutionary principle and the law of progress, it is much easier to accept the idea that other communities may have already reached a stage of unimaginable technological development that allows them to make long trips through the cosmos.” 

As to the opportunists, or UFO cultists, there is little doubt that Adamski’s warnings have come true.  The Heaven’s Gate group, led by the mysterious “UFO Two” a.k.a. Bonnie Nettles (1927-1985) and Marshall Applewhite (1931-1997), was the saddest and deadliest example of just such a cult.   And then there was the unauthorized UFO Education Center, with chapters in California, Mexico and Wisconsin, headed up by one-time Adamski associate Charlotte Blob, that came under intense scrutiny and prosecution for cult activities in many venues.  Many of the members had to be abducted and deprogrammed.  Should Adamski have lived a little longer, he surely would have opposed Blob’s efforts to organize this religious cult based on some of his more esoteric teachings. It is important to keep in mind that Adamski never started a religion or even advocated for his own Roman Catholicism.  He also never asserted any exclusivity to his message or philosophy, rather stating that it was for all of the Earth’s population.  He also never derided any of the other contactees, and frequently shared the same platform with many of them on several occasions.  There is no doubt, however, that there is a spiritual component to all of Adamski’s philosophy, and that of our space friends, as well, as espoused in all of his books.  Being a true Theosophist, it seems that this Southern California contactee adhered strongly to Helena Blavatsky’s second object of the Theosophical Society’s program: “To encourage the comparative study of religion, philosophy, and science” among all of those that counted themselves his disciples.  

As for myself, in book four of my Venus Rising series, The Vast Venus Conspiracy (Terra Alta, West Virginia:  Headline Books, 2021), in “Chapter 1:  On the Book of Abraham and the Plurality of Gods,” pages 11-20, I look at the impact of angelic extraterrestrials in the formation of the Latter-day Saints restoration movement (Community of Christ, Independence, Missouri) from my own religious background and unique perspective.

Bryan is the creator, producer, and co-host of the critically acclaimed "Beyond The Realm" Radio Show; He started the Paranormal Center and is a former member of the board for the Pine Bush UFO Festival and Conference. He has conducted several successful CE-5 events, all of which have brought contact to the many who attended.
Bryan is currently a member of IRVA the International Remote Viewers Association; the Founder and Director of the NYSUFOP - New York State UFO Project, NYSSO - New York State Sasquatch Organization; and the  NYSDP - New York State Dogman Project. He was the former Director of the North American Dogman Project - New York State Chapter; and is The North American correspondent for Outer Limits Magazine.  He is the co-host of “Inside The Goblin Universe” radio program with Ronald Murphy, and host of NoBoBuMe (which stand for -Nobody But Me). 'GERMAN SHEPHERD' SPECTRE Seen At Former WWII German SS Post in Poland

A Polish eyewitness recalls an incident in which he observed a 'transparent dog' running towards him. This location was a former German SS post during WWII which included German Shepherds.

I recently received the following account:

"Hello, Lon,

As I am a foreigner, let me start with the obligatory "sorry for my bad English."

In my home village (eastern part of Poland) there is an outdoor stage in the local park and in front of that scene is sloped terrain along which two rows of wooden benches are placed. About 4-5 years ago in the autumn I was sitting on a bench at the very top (the last row), to my left were buildings - an abandoned small manor and the local elementary school. To my right were bushes, a part of not well-maintained terrain, which ends by a river's edge.

It was rather in the evening, and the only source of light was a street lamp located next to the stage, so not much of it was reaching the top row. Suddenly in the corner of my right eye, I caught a movement, so I looked toward the bushes and saw a running dog. The thing is that the dog was a spectre, you could see through it. I twitched in fear as the transparent dog was running towards me, but then it suddenly disappeared. It looked like many ghosts in photos - pale and translucent

The dog was rather furry, could be a long coat German Shepherd. During World War II the now-empty building served as an SS post, so the dog's breed would fit that period for sure. I know I saw it and the story is my very own experience, which I will remember for life.

I truly enjoy following your website, keep up the great work. The story above is not my only experience, but the most memorable one for sure.

The 'Chicago Mothman' is back! A Little Village woman and her father had just left a grocery store and crossed the street when they observed a red-eyed bat-winged humanoid looking directly at them. They fled in terror. This is the 10th winged humanoid incident reported in Chicago's 'Little Village' community.
Also, a Memphis, Tennessee police officer recalls his bizarre encounter with a 'lizard humanoid' while on a special assignment in the late 1980s. A very interesting and detailed description of the creature. As well, San Bernardino County, California residents are now coming forward with their personal upright Dogman encounters.

'GIANT' RECORDED On Top Of Hill in Aguascalientes, Mexico (VIDEO)

A truck driver in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico allegedly recorded a 'giant' figure that stood on top of a hill.  A previous 'giant' was seen on a mountain in Vera Cruz, Mexico.

"This is the second time such a thing has occurred; another 'humanoid figure' was recorded in Veracruz weeks ago.

A video showing an alleged giant walking along the summit of a hill in [the state of] Aguascalientes went viral on TikTok, creating consternation among cybernauts who reacted with hundreds of comments about what they took to be a strange and unusual human or humanoid figure of great size. This recording is the second of its kind seen recently on social media.

Only a few days before Christmas, another user posted a clip to the Chinese social media platform also showing an alleged "humanoid" figure walking along a mountain somewhere in the state of Veracruz. Both videos were shared on social media, creating considerable polemics and debate among users. Both have gone viral.

The recording was obtained by a trucker driving through the state of Aguascalientes, specifically a section of the road between the capital and Lagos de Moreno, before reaching the toll booth known as "La Chona" according to information disseminated in social media, as well as the text visible in the clip.

Intense debate has been unleashed on TikTok regarding the video's credibility and the nature of the figure it shows. A figure which at a distance can be seen as very large is visible on the summit. Theories regarding the nature or origin of the creature began to arise among users.

Some of the most popular theories were centered on the humanoid figure being a "giant". The trucker recalled the experience of TikToker Andrew Dawson during a trip to Canada, where he had lived through a similar situation on Whistler's Peak in the state of Alberta.

Dawson's story generated controversy among cybernauts, after social media disseminated several of the TikToker's videos, showing his effort to find evidence of the alleged giant. However, it later became known that the youth had died during his odyssey."

UFOs began visiting Lily Nova during COVID while she was out shooting astrophotography. She began documenting these close encounters with her camera, accumulating evidence, and investigating the phenomena.

BIGFOOT/YETI VIDEO - Adygea Republic, Russia

This video was supposedly recorded in the Adygea Republic of Russia and was featured on a European television news station prior to 2014. It isn't very long, around five or six seconds.

According to Rocky Mountain Sasquatch:

"If you take a close look at the video some interesting characteristics of a Bigfoot posture and locomotion can be identified and several characteristics of a suit can be ruled out. Even though this creature is moving very fast it maintains the Bigfoot leaning posture throughout the entire video.

Not only can you see the face and nose you can also see several colors and tones in the face, head, and body, more typical of a living animal than a suit. You can see the muscle definition in the leg and calf region. This is a place most costumes fail. They hang and have no definition."

The Adygea Republic, Russia is located in the North Caucasus of Eastern Europe.

Watch the video and make your own assessment. I'm not sure what to make of it but it is an intriguing recording.

Also, a Memphis, Tennessee police officer recalls his bizarre encounter with a 'lizard humanoid' while on a special assignment in the late 1980s. Witness Encounters 8-10 FOOT TALL PALE-WHITE CRAWLER HUMANOID In Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania

A Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania man is taking a late-night walk near his home when he encounters a tall pale-white crawler humanoid lurking in a wooded area.

I recently received the following account:

"The date was January 10, 2021. It was a cold night with a slight fog outside my hometown of Tunkhannock in northeast Pennsylvania. Many nights I liked to take long walks in order to clear my mind from the busy day. I walked on the rural road by this large patch of woods not far from my home. On my right is an old building with two small wooden houses beside it.

As I'm looking I notice movement. Then I see an eight to ten-foot pale-white figure briskly walk across the road from one of the houses to the woods about 50 feet from me. I know I saw something so I quickly continue forward. Whatever it was, I wanted nothing to do with it and I now wanted to get home as fast as possible.

A minute or two later, I look up. Again, I see this pale figure that is now on all fours but still five feet tall at the shoulder. It is about 100 feet in the woods to the left of me. It had bleached white skin, a bald head, and huge black eyes. It had a human face and body except it looked extremely emaciated and its arms were like super long. It started to sway its body back and forth like a mantis.

This is when I ran as fast as I could. I only looked back after I ran for a solid five minutes and I don't believe it had chased me. I was very close to home and I was concerned that this pale humanoid was lurking about so near to where I lived. I have no idea what I saw but I know that it was real, not an apparition.

I know that you have written a book about these pale humanoids and I wonder if this may be what you described as a crawler? Thanks." HH

NOTE: I wrote back to the witness and confirmed that this could have been a crawler humanoid. This phenomenon has been seen throughout the world. We still have little knowledge as to what it is or how it is manifesting. These entities don't appear to be dangerous, though I have been told and have reported a few harrowing experiences. Lon

'GLIMMER MAN' Follows Fleeing Teens In Dark Woods

Two teenage friends spend the night in the nearby woods, only to observe a 'glimmer man' watching them. They start to leave the woods but soon realize that they are being followed.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"This occurred back in the early 1990s when I was a teenager. My parents were not strict so I had a lot of freedom. One of my friend's parents owned a huge part of a nearby woods where we would spend much of our time. We built a makeshift hut, so this place became our 'sanctuary' for a long time.

One friend spent the night at our sanctuary, which none of us had ever done before. We only hung out there during the day and then went home. Because of this, we all planned to spend the night together because it would be fun. Some of our friends weren't allowed to spend the night there though because of their parents and the others just chickened out because they were afraid. So it was just me and one other kid, my friend's cousin. We weren't close at the time and fought a lot. But surprisingly we got along well that night.

At around 11 PM, about 10 minutes after laying down in our sleeping bags, we heard rustling. I set up and saw a very tall silhouette of something that looked to be human-like. But the weird part was that it was also transparent! I could see right through it. I squinted and froze. It very quickly climbed up a nearby tall tree. When it reach a large bough, it stopped moving and simply disappeared! I was in complete disbelief and shock. I had no idea if this was real or if I hallucinated it. I wasn't scared, actually more perplexed. I said to my friend that we should leave and not wanting it to hear me I got close to his ear and said there was something in the woods looking at us. After I said that I saw his facial expression turn into fear. So we got up and started walking down the path toward the edge of the woods. We did so calmly. I didn't want to sprint because it might give chase.

Very shortly after we started leaving we both experienced this weird feeling of deja vu and confusion. It was like we were hit with hard drugs or something, even though we didn't use drugs and only ate food from home. I did have a small flashlight. I felt disoriented but we continued to walk in this direction for quite a while, stumbling in the darkness. Because of our mental state and I realized we should have been out of the forest by now. I knew this was the way out after going in and out of this place for years, even in the dark. I didn't recognize the trees and landscape around us, just the path. It was like our surroundings were changing. 

Then my friend sees the transparent thing I saw earlier. It was perched on a tree branch in front of us. He pointed it out to me. I told him that is what I had seen earlier. We stopped and watched it. It had a heatwave effect. We stared at it for 10 seconds in disbelief. It looked like a transparent being, but there was a defined edge around it. It then quickly climbed up the tree a little more and then jumped into the next tree. It was completely silent.  As well, the woods were completely silent.

Then, for some unknown reason, we both panicked and started to run. The surroundings still seemed foreign, but we just wanted to get away from this unknown being. We were beginning to wonder if we had gotten turned around at some point because we should have been out of the woods by this time.

But, as soon as we started to fear that we were lost, we suddenly began to recognize where we were. We exited the woods and quickly made our way to each of our homes.

The next day, we all met back at the sanctuary. My new friend and I described to everyone what had happened to us the previous night. There was a lot of kidding and teasing, but there was also a sense that each of us knew that something unexplained has actually occurred.

Gradually, each of us started to spend less time in the woods together. We all seemed to drift apart and found new friends over time. I occasionally wonder if the encounter with the transparent being was the reason why our friendship faded away." JK

Indiana Squirrel Hunter Believes SASQUATCH COMMUNICATED Its Presence To Him

A northwest Indiana squirrel hunter encounters a Sasquatch after his inner voice tells him to turn around. Was it a warning? Did the Sasquatch use 'mindspeak' to communicate?

"I was squirrel hunting on public hunting property in northwest Indiana (DNR) about an hour from my house. It is my habit to start my hunting early in the morning. I had never felt any pressure while hunting in this area or since the incident. So I thought nothing of hunting this day. It was fairly quiet except for the twittering of the occasional bird while I'd been there.

It was after 11 AM when I decided to take a little break and have a snack from my pack. So I took a seat along the trail. As I sat there, a voice came into my thoughts that said, "behind you." You preach to listen to your inner voice and trust it. I did. I turned around to look behind me. As soon as I got turned around I saw an enormous being about nine feet tall and one thousand pounds with long flowing reddish brown hair all over his body that resembled an orangutan in color. I only saw it for one or two seconds because that is how long it took for it to stride across the trail opening. I got the impression that it didn't know or didn't care that I was there since it didn't look my way. I was about 120 yards away just sitting on the side of the trail.

I suddenly wanted to get the hell out of there realizing that I was no longer the apex predator in those woods. The 22 semi-auto rifle I had would have done nothing more than piss off the creature and offered no more protection than a sharp pointy stick. I head back to my car looking over my shoulder the entire time wondering if I was going to end up as a statistic. But I was not going to let this thing destroy my love for the woods.

It took me a while but I did make it back to those same woods. I now say at the very beginning of my hunts that I am only there to harvest a few squirrels and to enjoy the woods. I'm not there looking for them. I ask that they not scare me while I'm there. So far that has been working.

Does this offer credence to mindspeak? I don't know. Did 5he Sasquatch let me know it was there, wanting me to see it? I don't know but that is what I am leaning toward." JS

Georgia Deer Hunter's GLIMMER MAN ENCOUNTER While In His Tree Stand

A Georgia deer hunter was in the Chattahoochee National Forest at his tree stand one late November afternoon when he observed a 'glimmer man' entity as it moved through the trees around him.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"In the early 1980s, I lived in a small town near the southwest part of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Georgia. I was hunting on public land in the National Forest just up the road from home in an area known as Cooper's Creek. I've hunted in and around that area for years and was very familiar with the terrain.

When I located a good spot that I thought would give me a good chance at a large buck I set up my lock-on tree stand about 12 feet off the ground. I was hunting with a 12-gauge shotgun since rifle hunting is not allowed in this area.

So, fast forward to early November. I had been hunting in my tree stand several times. This particular hunt was during the late afternoon around 4:15 pm. I wanted to get there earlier but I was held up at work. This was a Friday afternoon and my wife knew that I would not be home until 8:30 pm and even later if I had bagged a deer.

I parked my truck at the trailhead and started hiking into the woods to my tree stand. The walk would take about 20 minutes. Moving slowly through the woods since I didn't want to spook any of the wildlife. As I was walking I noticed how quiet it was. Eerily quiet. I finally arrived, climbed up, and settled in. I began to survey my surroundings. I began to have a disconcerting feeling like somebody was watching me. I just felt like something was out of place.

After a while, I kept looking at my watch wondering how much time I had left until dusk. I thought that I should leave early because of how I was feeling. Then, I caught movement to my right side. I slowly turned my head and began looking through the tree canopy. That's when I saw 'IT.' I honestly don't know what 'IT' was. I was staring into the trees and I saw what looked like a large human body, but it was completely blurred. It was moving through the trees. I could clearly see the outline of the figure but the rest was all blurry. I couldn't focus on it. It resembled an out-of-focus blob of gelatin that was in the shape of a human. Whenever it would stop moving I completely lost sight of it as it blended into its surroundings.

I continued to watch it stop and then start moving. I do so for about 15 minutes. By that time, I was starting to become scared as I was thinking about my walk back to the truck. So I waited for another 15 minutes or so.

It was getting dark by then, so I slowly climbed out of my stand. Once I hit the solid ground I wasted no time. I sprinted all the way back to my truck. I quickly jumped into the cab. I just sat there in my truck and tried to regain my breath. I drove home and said nothing to my wife or anybody else for several weeks. During that time I tried to convince myself that I had imagined the whole thing.

I eventually told my wife one night. She listened and said that it was probably my imagination. I later told my brother who said something similar to my wife. I never told anyone else.

I never hunted in those woods again. I didn't even go back for the tree stand. I took a break from hunting for about 5 years. I then started up again but never in that area. I still wonder what I saw that day. I have no rational explanation.

Years later, I think in 1988, the movie 'Predator' was released. When I saw the cloaked alien on the screen, I immediately tensed up in fear. That is what I saw! I was shocked! Did I encounter an alien? I still wonder what it was that I saw that day. I no longer hunt or spend much time in the woods." PL

Unknown AQUATIC CREATURE Recorded Off Southeastern North Carolina Coast (VIDEO)

A video of a dark creature swimming near the coast of southeastern North Carolina has recently surfaced. There are various theories as to what this aquatic creature is.

The following report was posted on the FOX 35 website:

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. - Alligator, whale – or Loch Ness Monster? A video of a dark creature swimming near the coast of southeastern North Carolina had viewers debating online about what it could possibly be.

Charter boat Captain Daniel Griffee captured the video which was shared on the Chasin Tails Outdoors Bait & Tackle Facebook page on Jan.3. Since then, the 43-second video has been seen over 123,000 times.

"Something you don’t see everyday…. WHALES or the LOCH NESS MONSTER in the Port this morning, never seen one inside the inlet like this!" the shop wrote.

The clip shows the creature appearing to ‘slither’ through the waters inside the Port of Morehead City and surfacing at times.

Some viewers claim it looks like an alligator when it comes out of the water.

"That’s a gator. You can see the eyes are on top of its head," one viewer said.

"Now THAT is STRANGE. Odd-looking head for sure."

"It’s a manatee," another person guessed.

"Definitely a Loch Ness monster. I saw 2 the same day I saw Bigfoot walking a black panther on a leash," one person joked.

Thankfully, Captain Griffee put the rumors to rest: he identified it as a right whale calf that got lost from its mother swimming around the port.

"Wasn’t sure at first, thought it was a group of dolphins splashing around until it swam right beside the boat," Griffee wrote on Facebook. "I have a 22’ pathfinder that was 9 feet wide and bigger than my boat!"

NOTE: Since this was seen in seawater, I believe that there is a strong possibility that this creature is a manatee. But who knows? Lon
