A Case of LYCANTHROPY? CRYPTID CANINE ENCOUNTER After An Incident With Creepy Neighbor

A woman and her sister rent a cottage in the woodland of northern Michigan. They then encounter a neighbor with a creepy son. Soon afterward there are 2 encounters with an unknown canine.

I recently listened to a podcast with the following account. What are your thoughts?

"I decided to rent a cabin way up in northern Michigan for a week with my sister Tanya. My sister is a writer and this was also what she needed because she hadn't written in two weeks. So off we went. It was late May and still quite chilly, but we didn't care about the weather because we weren't there for sunbathing on the beach.

The cottage was rustic but recently redone and it was located on a small pond but was surrounded by thick woods. Our cottage was the last one down a long dirt road. The cottage owner had put in several really nice long trails because if not then nobody was enjoying the woods.

The first day we were unloading our luggage from the car and a young guy and his mom walked up the driveway. They introduce themselves and said they owned the house a little way down the road and they went for walks a few times a week for exercise past the cottage. The mother Linda mentioned that her husband had passed away a few years earlier and of course, I told her that I lost my husband Josh a few months earlier as well. Linda looks so sad for me but her son Brendan had a smirk on his face which really creeped me out. Linda seemed to notice this as well and said, "Okay let's leave these ladies to unpack," and then said their goodbyes. I was unnerved by the way Brendan looked at me and I noticed he kept looking back at me as they walked away.

On the first day, we just hung around the cabin. The next day I went for a walk alone so Tanya could get some writing done. I chose the path the owner said was the easiest. I had been walking for 10 minutes when I heard the sound of a small animal moving through the underbrush maybe something the size of a rabbit. So I stopped to listen and when I stopped the rustling stopped. I happened to glance back and I saw the shape of a human standing behind the thicket. I thought it was Brandon so I turned and kept walking. I was almost halfway and I'd see a tree about 30 feet in front of me but completely surrounded by the same thicket. I saw what again I perceived to be a naked Brandon! I couldn't see clearly because he was shrouded in darkness but I saw him perched on the bottom limb of a tree just crouched there staring at me! I could see one hand holding the limb he was crouched on and his other arm was wrapped around the tree trunk. But now that I look back and I know what I was looking at. I can't believe I thought it was Brandon.

A day or two later I was finally able to pull Tanya away from her laptop and we were on the porch to watch the sunset. We distinctly heard a wolf howl from at least the other side of the pond. We agreed it was really close but we weren't too worried. We were more worried about the mother bears as we were told by Linda and the cabin owner that we needed to keep the bear spray on us at all times because the cubs were very young and the mothers were really protective.

About 10 minutes later we heard an animal screaming. "Oh my gosh!" we were both saying and covering our ears. Tanya was saying this is too close to nature for me. Then Tanya went in to use the bathroom and when she came back she said what is that and pointed to the wood line. I saw the shrubs shaking then an animal came out of the woods with a baby deer hanging from its mouth. The baby wasn't just a newborn. We looked at pictures showing various ages and it was probably two weeks old approximately. We are not country girls so please don't get on me for being wrong. Anyway, Tanya said, "No, I don't want to see this" and she went inside.

I sat looking at this animal. I was fairly certain the fawn was already dead or I would have done something at least I'd like to think I would have. What, I don't know? But regardless I was trying to figure out what this animal was. It was walking into the open from the woods. It dropped the fawn from its mouth then it started sniffing it. I was fairly certain that this was a very large wolf with a case of the mange because its hair was thick around the neck like a lion's mane and it was thin to bear in spots. Its rear end was bald and I didn't even see a tail. I noticed it looked almost deformed because the back end sat way lower than the front. 

The animal seemed almost mesmerized by the fawn. It stared and sniffed at it, then it pushed it forward or over by using its nose. Then it picked it up by the mouth and started shaking it side to side viciously. Then it started biting into the midsection and when it lifted its head to chew you could clearly see intestines hanging out of its mouth. Now I believe I let out a sound at that point because it looked at me surprised and then ran about 10 feet to the large tree. It turned around and literally stood on its back legs! Oh my gosh! I realized this was the thing I saw up in the tree! I could clearly see the eyes were rusty colored and they were illuminated. They were glowing from the inside.

It was starting to turn dusk. It just continued to stand there behind that tree. It seemed to be apprehensive a little, but it was staring at me and then it would look towards the fawn. At one point I thought I saw it lift its lip and the whole muzzle started to vibrate like it was trying not to bear its teeth. Finally, it got down on all four feet and started walking slowly to the fawn. When it was almost there it swung its head in my direction and let out a low menacing growl. At the same time, it bared its teeth. This animal was at least 400 pounds! It could be even bigger but I'm afraid that the naysayers will call me a liar. This animal was at least three to four times as big as my German Shepherd. All the way around its head was huge. But what really terrified me was when it sneered at me and went down for the fawn. Its teeth were at least three inches long, sharp, and jagged. When it got to the fawn it picked it up in its mouth and took off at a fast slope.

We didn't leave for walks after that. We barely left the cabin. When we did leave the last day we drove over to that tree and I got out and stood beside where it stood and I can say without a doubt it was well over six and a half to seven and a half feet tall.

We drove past Linda's house and on second thought I asked Tanya to turn back around. I wanted to tell them what we saw. Linda was genuinely concerned and seemed shocked to hear what we saw. She appreciated that we thought enough to stop.

When we got home we called the landlord and he said straight away that we were warned to carry bear spray, so I just left it at that. I figured he thought we wanted our money back and that wasn't the case. So that's our story. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Bigfoot."

NOTE: OK...my first thought was that this may have been a case of lycanthropy since she had originally thought the first encounter with the beast was actually Brandon. Was this a shapeshifter? Or just a wolf with mange? It did stand bipedally at one point, so could have been a cryptid canine or Dogman? Your thoughts. Lon

Pennsylvania Couple Recently Observes BIGFOOT on Ghost Town Trails, PA

A Pennsylvania couple had a credible sighting of a Bigfoot in October 2022 while biking on the Ghost Town Trails, Cambria County. The BFRO has classified this as a Class A sighting.

I received the following account from the eyewitness:

"On October 5, 2022, my boyfriend and I were biking on the Ghost Town Trails near Ebensburg, PA. As we came around a bend, we were looking straight ahead when we saw a huge dark figure on the right side of the trail. We looked at it, it was looking straight at us. It turned and stepped into the woods.

We couldn’t see the face clearly because of the distance. My boyfriend is 6”5 and it was much bigger than him. As it stepped off the trail there was a huge distance between his legs.

We finally stopped down the trail and were saying we couldn’t believe what we saw. We were biking fast. We went back to look for tracks, etc. but didn’t see any as there were so many leaves at that time.

We bike there every day and look for more tracks and signs. There were no sounds or smells. That was the coolest thing we ever experienced.

We went to a Stan Gordon talk a couple of weeks ago, very interesting. We live in Pennsylvania so our bike riding will be on hold because of cold and snow." FB

'CIGAR CLOUD' UFO Phenomenon Reported Over Tsawwassen Docks, Vancouver

The witness observed several distinct cylindrical banks of cloud or vapour behind and above the cranes. Each one of these clouds seemed to be letting down a cascade of water.

I recently received the following commentary from a reader, a follow-up to my post UFO OBSERVATIONS & REACTION by Vancouver, BC Eyewitness:

This is a description of my first UFO sighting which I wrote to a friend by email on April 2, 2021. The sighting took place several years before, in 2016. I hadn’t written it down until 2021 (except for some notes I think) but it was really seared into my memory so I believe I was accurate in my account. I remembered that it had been Friday the 13th so that allowed metro to peg the date exactly as May 13, 2016, and locate the mention in my day planner. At the time I was amazed and really disoriented by the experience. It took me quite a while before I actually calmed down enough to try to analyze them. It was a very transfixing state of mind. 

I think there was some sort of telepathic connection between them and I. There was about the incident and for about 24 hours after a certain mental aura, like what I might imagine would be a post-hypnotic state, though I have never experienced such a state as I recall. Added to my perplexity was the fact that this sighting was a fairly uncommon type of sighting, not at all your standard silvery saucer or glowing ball. 

I had been visiting my pal Geoff on Saltspring Island and was heading back to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for the bus ride back to Vancouver. The Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal is located on a spit of land on which there is also a large container dock and storage area with large unloading cranes and further out an area where coal is piled. As you approach the ferry docks the container docks are several hundred yards to the left. I was waiting on the open-top deck with many other passengers when, as the ferry approached the Tsawwassen dock I noticed something strange about the cranes. There seemed to be several distinct cylindrical banks of cloud or vapour behind and above the cranes. Each one of these clouds seemed to be letting down a cascade of water that was bellying out like a square sail in the wind or like a curtain of translucent blue blowing offshore. 

There were no ships docked at the container freight docks and so there were no workers or activity there that day. 

"I captured satellite views of the Tsawwassen coal dock and container area and used my primitive drawing program to superimpose an approximation of what I saw.

"Nearly as I can remember. They were “cloud cigars”. I looked up the dimensions of the cranes and found that the base of the cranes is a box of beams about 80 feet wide. I recall that the cloudy cylinders were several times longer than the width of the cranes at their base. So they’d have been from 300 to 400 feet long. My program is not good enough to let me draw the curtains of translucent light blue which were coming down from them looking like sails bellied in the wind.

I thought only for a second that they must have been waterfalls coming down from these clouds of what looked like steam. But then I didn’t see any supporting structure to hold these cloud shapes up. From that moment I was absolutely transfixed by this sight. And upon leaving the area on the bus I was able to see them from the side and I saw that the “waterfalls” were still and steady as were the ships, each ship with an identical light blue (or reflecting the sky) bellied out curtain coming down from the side of the ship facing the cranes.

Each cylinder was shrouded in lightly billowing clouds of condensation. I took out my binoculars (It never once crossed my mind to use my camera which was right beside my binoculars in my backpack) and focusing on the nose part of one ship I could see little puts of cloud or vapour puffing out and all the thing was covered in this billowy active condensation but what was underneath never moved. There wasn’t a cloud in the clear blue sky. Only these things that looked like clouds but never moved never drifted.

I have thought long about it of course. Paul Hill’s book enabled me to analyze it. If the blue curtains had been waterfalls there would have been a noise like six big waterfalls you could certainly have heard across that distance to the ferry dock but there was silence. Such a great quantity of water would have been overflowing the dock area and spilling into the sea but there was nothing. My conclusion is that the ships were discharging "angel hair” as UFOs have been seen to do. This is a white translucent taffy-like substance that quickly sublimates in the warm air. It seems to be some sort of waste material but nobody has been able to collect and preserve enough to analyze it. And nobody knows what it does. Pick up some strands of it and it quickly sublimates in the warmth of your hand leaving a green stain that washes off with soap and water. 

My explanation for the clouds of vapour is [per Paul Hill’s theory] that under the vapour were metallic cylindrical ships and, in order to generate the vapour and hide the ship, the crew were left in operation the matter-repulsive force field generators whose main use is to repel air from the surface of the ship as it moves, allowing supersonic speed without noise or shock wave or resistance. When they leave this field in operation when the ship is not moving the natural movement of the air brings new air molecules against the surface of the ship and the matter-repulsive field drops the air pressure and cools the air so that the water vapour condenses out as a cloud. That’s what I was seeing when I saw the puffs of cloud coming off the ship, the air was being repulsed. The large cylindrical or dirigible-looking ships of several hundred feet long are often seen hiding in clouds or shrouded in clouds so people have called them “cloud cigars”.

Geoff replied:

"Interesting analysis. My question is this: if these objects were visible to you, why were they not visible to others from your angle or another angle? That area has hundreds to thousands of people (on the Roberts bank and ferry side) outside at any given time, including the parking lots, to say nothing of people on approaching or departing ferries. Why no UFO reports? Why no one mentioning angel hair falling to the ground, even if it's transient?

Not negating what you saw with your own eyes, just wondering why no one else noted the strangeness...even if they were ‘disguised’ as cloud formations from some angles?"

Certainly an excellent question. I can only answer from my experience that day. I was standing on the deck of the ferry as it approached the Tsawwassen docks. I began to look more intently at the cranes and the apparitions just behind and above the cranes as we drew nearer. At first I assumed they had some sort of mechanism behind the cranes which poured water to settle the coal dust and this waterfall was generating clouds of vapour. But I kept looking and as soon as we got near enough to see more details I saw that there was no supporting structure holding up the vapour clouds above these waterfalls. I remarked to a young man standing next to me that there was something strange about the things above the cranes. He barely looked my way and went back to, I think, peering at his cell phone screen or something. I glanced at all the people on the deck with me and they were all intent on their business, their baggage and kids and whatnot in eager anticipation of landing and getting home.

I myself never really paused in my automatic routine of debarking, moving through the terminal, and getting on board the waiting bus to go home. I glanced back over my shoulder as my bus left Tsawwassen and caught sight of the apparitions from a side angle. I could see that they were as I had seen them from the front, a side-by-side group of five or six cylindrical clouds the size and shape of WWII submarines with curtains let down from their sides that were bellied out like wind-filled square sails. I never had one single thought of taking a picture or video of them even though my camera was handy at the top of my backpack along with my binoculars which I did use to look more closely at the clouds as we got near the terminal.

I am more interested in technical things than most people. Always have been. I designed and built my own house and wired it by studying and following books and the code book, for example. Otherwise, I might not have given the Tsawwassen coal docks and cranes even a casual glance. How many people ever really look at those types of things? And how many of those people arriving and departing at that terminal gave any attention to the coal docks and cranes? They were all intent on parking their cars or getting to their parked cars or dealing with their baggage and kids or intent like I was (except for being bemused by the cranes and coal docks’ things like the nerd I am) in not missing the bus home and having to wait interminably for the next bus.

I was so intent on seeing these things as we approached the terminal that I never had a thought in my head about them. I had no formulation about them at all in my mind. I was locked on to them much like a targeting radar of a fighter plane locks onto a target. It was that intensive an experience. Fighter planes have sensors to tell the pilot when his plane is being “locked up” by a hostile fighter. Our Visitors have been often reported to be telepathic. If so did the crew of those ships sense my fixed attention? Did they lock on to me as I was locked on to them? I can only say that my mental experience was vivid and all but vacant of any mental chatter as I drank in, pulled in, all the visual information I possibly could. Yet I never thought to stop and stare at them once I was outside the terminal. I got aboard that bus like a man in a dream, as if I were hypnotized by the command to be part of the herd and keep to the herd routine.

I knew there was something completely extraordinary before my eyes. But it was only the next day when I thought about how I could picture these things and describe them to people that I thought, “I know! I’ll draw a picture of them and take a photo of the drawing and scan it and send it to Geoff!” And I drew some pictures and got out my camera... and then it hit me like a punch in the head! What hadn’t I photographed or even videoed the things when my camera was right there as handy as my binoculars??!! I was so mesmerized by the things that I couldn’t look away and only my binoculars occurred to me to use so I could gather better information.

I can only think of that young man I spoke to as we approached the terminal. I said something like, “There’s something weird about those things behind the cargo cranes.” He never even looked at them. Nobody but me looked at them.

I can imagine why that was. Those ships were very clever to hide in plain sight among cargo cranes which no humans who don’t work in industry (I worked on the railroad) ever give a thought or a glance at. Stuff like that just fades into the background. People see them but they really don’t see them. Stuff like that is for workers or something, people who drive loaders and cranes and handle stuff. Not even tech stuff like computers. Greasy dirty industrial stuff for yobs who carry lunch pails. Who gives a shit about that?

As for the ships. I had read Paul Hill’s book and studied it. That’s how I knew anything about Cloud Cigars and Angel Hair so that I could interpret what I saw. Otherwise, would I even have glanced at them or thought anything about them if I even had glanced at them?

What little is known about UFOs of all types discharging Angel Hair suggests that it is some sort of waste product that they must discharge instantly on an emergency basis wherever they happen to be no matter what. But the UFO operators are not at all fond of being observed by crowds of potential human witnesses. The ships I saw, the flotilla I saw had to discharge that stuff, no choice in the matter, it had to be done right now or the operation of the ships would be imperiled – that’s my guess. And Angel Hair has to be dumped onto the ground, can’t be dumped in mid-air or empty space – that’s my further guess. So the ships whose operators have a telepathic connection to human beings as well as to each other were stationed (moored so to speak) behind the cargo cranes where no human ships were docked and no human workers were working at the facility so that they would blend into the background and no human minds would be intent on them. But just one little signal was received from one mind and in response, they locked onto me and especially directed me. This is my guess.

But why do I even assume that nobody else noticed them? How many people know anything at all about UFOs? How many people among all those crowds at the terminal know or care anything at all about UFOs any more than about any other nonsense like space invaders or vampires or Elvis-didn’t-die or the Kennedy assassination or 9/11 Truthers? It’s all silly BS that gets you laughed at if you even mention it. Weird stuff in the cargo cranes. Oh well, must be nothing.

H G Wells wrote with a cunning eye on human psychology when he wrote The War of the Worlds in 1898:

“No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century, that this world was being watched, keenly and closely, by intelligence greater than man’s and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their concerns they were being scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might study the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency, men went to and fro over this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter. It is possible that the infusoria under a microscope do the same... Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.“

People share UFO reports these days quite a lot now that there is the internet and now that there is some more general interest in space and satellites and so forth. But what do people report, and what do they notice? They report lights in the night sky if they are VERY unusual. They report glowing orbs like what I saw if the orbs get near enough to make out. They certainly report UFOs that land or that pass overhead in daylight. These people are dismissed as cranks by most of the public. How many sightings have people had or have every year that they do not tell about anyone? And if anything that people see can be dismissed by themselves as something ordinary or something strange but of no importance to them personally I suspect most people would dismiss such a sighting. I tried to talk to a friend some years ago about UFOs; she said she didn’t care about them even if they are real because they have no relevance to her life or anyone’s life. There is no doubt thousands of people all over the world see their first good UFO sighting every year but this number of people among the world's 7 billion is a few drops in the ocean and not even passing interest on Youtube or Google amidst the ocean of fluff and nonsense.

Why is there now more official word on UFOs being shyly and partly disseminated? Because UFOs and the Visitors who ride in them have done nothing at all to us in 74 years. They are being accepted as humdrum by people like my friend whenever they even come to the general public consciousness. Who gives a sh*t about something that nobody really has to notice?" JS

SKINWALKER Stalks Navajo Teens Sleeping in Old Tent

A Navajo teen is at the family property in New Mexico. He and his cousin are sleeping at night in an old tent when an unknown figure is staring at them. The cousin recognizes it as a Skinwalker.

I recently received the following account:

"This happened to me when I was 14 years old. I haven't told anyone about this because we aren't supposed to talk about Skinwalkers in my culture. If you talk about this they gain an attraction towards you and will focus on you according to our beliefs.

I am a Navajo man from Arizona and I was raised on the Rez. I somewhat know what they are and know about them. We take them very seriously. If one is seen and the Navajo Police will come out to investigate the area. Anyway, I saw one.

My family and I live in Arizona and we occasionally visit family near Farmington, New Mexico. We left early to get there by noon. It is a very long and boring trip there. We get there before noon and we have time to socialize and talk with our extended family. The younger kids and teens start to play and explore around until dusk. The house is too small for everyone to hang out and sleep in. Some of the kids have to sleep in the trailer and truck camper. My cousins and I stayed in the old slightly torn tent.

It's nighttime, around 9 pm, and all of us get ready for bed. It had been a long day and we were tired. We are asleep at this point and for some unknown reason, I wake up. Of course, I'm still tired and rubbing my eyes while yawning, meaning I wasn't aware of my surroundings. Once I finish rubbing my eyes, I look at the entrance of the tent and see a figure illuminated by the backlight porch, standing in front of the tent. At first, I was scared but thought it was my other cousins just messing with us. As I was thinking this, I thought why would they go through this much trouble of staying up late, to have the off chance of us waking up and seeing them.

As this person was still standing outside our tent, looking at us, I turn to one of my older cousins, to wake him up and tell him that someone was standing outside our tent. He tries to brush me off but I persist and he turns to me and asks what I wanted. I tell him to look at the entrance of the tent and he does. I have never seen someone go from the brink of sleep to sheer panic that fast before or since. He looks at me with a shocked face and tells me to be quiet. He whispers to me that it's a Skinwalker and that we need to be quiet.

We lay there for the longest time and from my memory, it was at least an hour or more. We were just about to go back to sleep because it hadn't done anything. Then it started to walk around the tent, at a pace insanely slow that it kept us up. Remember when I said this was an old tent? It had some holes in it. One of the holes was the size of a quarter and I decided to be 'brave.' As it continues to walk around the tent a fourth time, I slowly crawl towards the hole and try to take a look. As I did this my cousin told me to get back to bed or it'll hurt us. I ignore this warning. I am at the quarter-size hole and looking out to see whatever it was. It comes around to the hole and what I saw was bone-chilling!

I was looking at its lower half and not its face. What I saw were darkened dirt-covered legs and some kind of makeshift animal pelt. I bolt back and hide under my sleeping bag while my cousin did the same. This thing decided to stop moving and start looking at us again as if it knew that I saw it and was letting me know. It continues to stand still again at the entrance and watch us. I hid under the covers, so scared that I believe that I was in shock! I finally fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.

I woke up early, maybe around 5 am, and I decided to look outside the tent to see if there was anything there. I see footprints. Bare footprints, that send shivers throughout my body. I saw the footprints move around the tent, this hit me hard because I was now realizing it wasn't a dream. As I further investigate the footprints, I notice that it went off toward the rocky hills nearby where we were staying at. I follow the track to the hills, about 100 yards away from the house.

As I continue to follow the tracks, something strange and frightening happens. It goes from two footprints walking for a while, to footprints and handprints in the dirt.  found that kind of strange because no person would do that out here. As I followed the tracks further in the hills, the prints started to get smaller and smaller. This is when I started to get scared again. It slowly changed into coyote paw prints. That is when I stopped and turned back home, first walking fast then onto a sprint.

When I got to the house, I sat down on the back porch for a while and thought about telling my family. But I didn't think they would believe me. In the end, I didn't tell anyone, even the cousin I woke up in the middle of the night. It seemed outlandish and sounded like what a kid would tell to get attention.

That's my story. My people take witchcraft very seriously and do our best to not talk about them. Even though I broke this code, I refrain from saying anything out loud. I have had a few other incidents, but this is by far the scariest." HM

Unexplained 3 HOURS OF MISSING TIME After Encounter With 3 Large Orbs

A Texas man, with his friend and girlfriend, was at a nearby lake at night. They began to observe a series of large orbs over a short period of time, even though they later noticed 3 hours of missing time.

"I'm currently living with my retired cousin in Cedar Park, Texas. This is the area where I have had some very weird experiences in and around Muir Lake. I love to fish and take pictures of wildlife and whatnot. I had always been an avid hunter and fisherman. My dad taught me at a young age how to shoot a gun and to be safe with a firearm. I was not even seven years old shooting dove with a 20 gauge pump Winchester shotgun. I have seen black panthers in Mississippi and I've seen big black wolves in Texas.

My experience happened right around the corner from where I'm living. They're working on a million-dollar park for a year now which is based around Muir Lake where I fish this little lake was built by the Army Corps of Engineers in the late 1950s. Anyway, about nine o'clock at night last year, it was late September or early October, I asked my cousin Tony and his girlfriend if they wanted to go fishing. He responded, "So you want to find the boogeyman?" snickering back at me.I said, "Yeah, sure." So we got into his van and went to the other side of the dam. There's a nice little place to fish. We got there, and sat in the van for a minute or two, just talking.

Tony and I got our gear and walked to the back of the water. His girlfriend was still getting stuff out of the van. I asked Tony if he had any extra hooks and weights in his tackle box and he obliged. When he flipped open his latch his tackle box rolled over and down to the edge of the water. So I'm trying to get my phone light on so he can see. When he was gathering his stuff I happened to notice a bright light by the road. It seemed like it was hovering about eight feet off the ground. I said, "Look at that Tony." He says that's just a street light. I said no it's not because it started descending and zigzagging back and forth.

By that time his girlfriend was walking back from the van and telling me to shut my phone light off. She said that someone was asking her if she had a cigarette. She thinks that there are some homeless people coming in and setting up camp. I yelled out, "Can I help you?" At this point, there were no signs of this light that I saw, and where we were there are only two street lights that are visible. It's fairly warm that night no wind or rain and pretty much clear. But there was just enough light coming from the street light so you can still make out things.

When I was walking back to the front of the van Tony, with a machete in one hand, with his girlfriend I noticed that the same light in the woods was on the other side of us about 50 feet away. I know these woods like the back of my hand and if anybody's walking through here I would have heard their feet crunching on the dry leaves. I said look there it is again. This bright orb was probably eight feet off the ground and the size of a volleyball, but in the middle of it it looked like a watery shimmer and the outside was like a halo.

All of a sudden I see two more appear on each side of this one which was about a foot below the other one, which in contrast makes the other two approximately seven feet off the ground. They were still believing that it was homeless people. I called out, "Can I help you?" Of course, no response again. We're all just standing in front of the van. There was nothing making a sound.

Then suddenly this air pump went off from a paint and body shop that is 150 yards or more from us. It scared the crap out of us. We're still standing in front of the van staring at these bright glowing orbs when the two that were still hovering at seven feet go from the size of a basketball to the size of a marble. Then they vanish and the other one finally disappears.

At this point, I realized that I still have my phone in my hand the whole time during this event and I did not once think about taking a picture or video of it. After the lights were gone I turned to Tony and told him that I was ready to go back to the house. I just remember getting into his van and sitting down in the back seat. I know for a fact that this entire event could not have been over an hour because we just live around the corner from where this incident occurred. We left at 9 pm and we looked at the clock we got back and it was going on 12 midnight. We didn't even throw a line in the water."

NOTE: Strange account. The incident seemed to last for a short period of time, but when they returned to the nearby house, 3 hours had passed since they had left to go fishing. Was it an abduction or distortion of time? Your thoughts? Lon

UFO / UAP Photographed Over Popocatépetl Volcano, Mexico (VIDEO)

In an image of the erupting Popocatépetl volcano in Mexico, there appears to be a UFO hovering over the site. The photo was captured this past Sunday morning from a resident's backyard in the city of Atlixco.

Below is the English translation of the commentary:

UFO sighted flying over Popocatépetl Volcano

This image was taken last Sunday. They wonder if it is actually an unidentified flying object or a UFO. In the image, you can see the Popocatépetl Volcano to one side. The moon, that looks very bright. Just above the crater from the volcano is found this UFO, an unidentified flying object. Well, you judge if it was real.

"A man believes he has seen a UFO hiding behind an erupting volcano - and the huge disc just hovers there despite the bubbling lava and spewing rocks. Luis Guerra snapped the photo of the Popocatépetl volcano, near Atlixco, Mexico, early on Sunday, January 8.

The photo shows the 10,000-foot volcano with a plume of smoke drifting lazily from its crater and – just to the right – a distinctly disc-shaped object, as the Daily Star reports. The image was shared on social media by Luis' girlfriend, Karla Garcia, and soon people began commenting on the image - saying it could be a UFO.

Karla wrote on Twitter: "Since my boyfriend is not a fan of social networks, I asked him if I could upload his photo to Twitter and he said yes."

Unfortunately. Karla only uploaded one image of the extraordinary sight to social media, so it's hard to get a sense of how fast the mysterious object might have been moving.

She captioned the image "Today's photo at 7:52 am. Popocatépetl, the moon and possibly a UFO…"

While Karla declares herself agnostic about the subject of alien visitors, Atlixco is known for its long association with paranormal phenomena.

There's a stretch of road just outside the town where – according to paranormal believers – the normal laws of gravity do not apply and rocks, footballs and even cars have been known to roll uphill of their own accord.

There have also been multiple sightings of the Chupacabra, the legendary beast of Mexico, in the area.

And of course, the area has had more than its fair share of UFO sightings.

In the mid-1990s Atlixco was considered one of the world's top 10 UFO hotspots.

Punto Marconi, a hill just outside of town, has been the site of so many flying saucer sightings that in 2001 it was adorned with a UFO sculpture. The artwork's formal name is "El OVNI de la Casita Blanca de Atlimeyaya," or "The UFO of the Little White House of Atlimeyaya."

Rumours of Popocatépetl being a secret extraterrestrial base have died down over the past few years, and the once-gleaming metal structure has fallen into disrepair.

But with the emergence of Karla's photo, which has gone viral on social networks around the world, Atlixco's reputation as a centre for close encounters could soon be revived."

Multiple BIGFOOT ENCOUNTERS Described by Coos County, Oregon Witness

This Bigfoot incident occurred 20 miles from Coquille, Oregon near the North Fork of the Coquille River in Coos County. It was the Autumn of 1949. Another encounter is also described.

The witness stated that an unknown pounding was heard on something like a log:

"That sound brought one of my brothers into the house to alert the rest of the family to "come hear this."

We went outside and stood in the driveway, and heard the most frightening guttural roar you can imagine! This accompanied the pounding on the wood object. This lasted several minutes. The evening was clear, warm, and without wind. I do not remember a moon. Neither brother could explain what was happening and I recall being scared out of my wits!

When the sounds subsided, the family returned inside. The incident was not discussed in front of me again. As a child, I was privileged to live in this remote beautiful area and be allowed to run free.

Sometime later, a boyfriend and I observed what we were told must have been a bear in a thicket of alder trees near the house. The feces found there later contained crawdad shells and berry seeds, with a horrible odor. But the creature we saw was not a bear. The hard dry ground showed no tracks. Our fathers were loggers and we were well-versed in the local wildlife. While this all happened a very long time ago, I still get cold chills remembering those sounds.

Years later, my fiance and I were driving north on Oregon Highway 101 near Cape Perpetua, north of Florence, OR. The highway was narrow, two-lane, with the Pacific Ocean on the west and steep rock cliffs on the east. I was watching the moon over the ocean, turned sidewise, facing the ocean. A very large black creature rose from a cleft in the cliff and towered over the little car we were in. My fiance yelled, "What the hell was that?" I only caught a glimpse of the thing through my peripheral vision, but it was huge and very fast. I suppose we surprised it as much as it surprised us. It terrified me.

My fiance searched for a place to turn around as he wanted to go back, and I refused to let him. We were armed with what suddenly seemed to be a very small weapon, considering the size of the creature!

When we returned home, my fiance told his father about the encounter. His father told us of the rancher at the foot of the Capes (Also on Highway 101) who had been riding to check on his cattle when he heard a cow bellowing in agony. His horse became nervous but he forced it on and found a very large hairy animal chewing on the live cow. He carried a 30.06 rifle and shot the creature. It stood up and ran off on two legs. He followed until he lost the trail of blood in the rocky terrain. This is the first time I have ever heard of someone shooting and wounding one of these creatures. It is also the first time I've heard of this creature eating the meat of any animal

Our encounter was in the late evening with clear skies and a full moon. My fiance saw the creature in the headlights and had a great view of it. He knew it was not a bear and didn't think it was a human in a fursuit. Facial features did not have a snout and the arms were too long for a bear's front legs. I was too terrified to grasp any features. I have never felt fear like that before or since.

NOTE: This old account was listed as a Class A report at the BFRO. I remember seeing another recollection of the encounters, presumably by the original eyewitness. Lon

The 'Chicago Mothman' is back! A Little Village woman and her father had just left a grocery store and crossed the street when they observed a red-eyed bat-winged humanoid looking directly at them. They fled in terror. This is the 10th winged humanoid incident reported in Chicago's 'Little Village' community.
Also, a Memphis, Tennessee police officer recalls his bizarre encounter with a 'lizard humanoid' while on a special assignment in the late 1980s. A very interesting and detailed description of the creature. As well, San Bernardino County, California residents are now coming forward with their personal upright Dogman encounters.

Legendary LOUP GAROU Encountered in Swampy Louisiana Oil Field

A new oil field night watchman is walking along his tour route in the swamp and bayou late at night. He then encounters an unknown beast that threatens and chases him up an old derrick.

A reader forwarded the following account. It was told to him by his father several years ago:

"It is early evening as the sun is setting in Oil City, Louisiana as the night watchman made his way to his post. He was new on the job and his post was at one of the many old derricks. This location is near Cato Lake, as well as the surrounding swamps and marshlands.

He enjoyed his new job. All you just had to do in order to make it through the night was to avoid falling asleep. This derrick was furthest back from a particularly boggy section of swamp. Since he had no boat available to pull through the muck he decided to walk along the bank. It would take a little longer but the trek through the swamp wouldn't be anything he hadn't done before and he wanted to make a good impression to hopefully move up to a higher-paying position on a day crew.

The thick canopy of trees blotted out what little light was left and he paused to light a kerosene lantern as he continued on. As he held the lantern high he looked into the darkness. There was nothing he could see among the shadows. He thought that he heard something moving in the darkness, but decided that it was his mind playing tricks. He began to walk again.

It wasn't long before he heard it again. This time, there were steps mirroring his own, just to the side and behind him. So he stopped and he turned once again holding the lantern high. "Who is that?" he called out. He didn't receive an answer. His pace quickened as he began to walk again and he heard the steps begin, once more mirroring his own. Now he heard sloshing in the nearby water. He was becoming unnerved. He started to walk even faster, catching his feet on exposed cypress roots.

The sloshing steps were growing closer. His anger was building over the fear. He stopped again. "Who the hell is that?" he screamed. There was no answer. An uneasy quiet had descended over the swamp. He could hear the beating of his own heart and his quickened breath.

Then, from the darkness, came a low deep growl that reverberated in his chest. His blood ran cold. Without thinking he turned and ran! He had nothing to defend himself. His only hope was to reach the old derrick. He ran through the water and muck. He heard it following him. It crashed through the undergrowth. Water was splashing as the loud footsteps continued their pursuit. It sounded as if it were upon him when he finally reached the derrick and began to climb. He dropped the lantern. Fear and desperation caused him to climb. As he climbed higher an unearthly howl emanated from just beneath him. He thought his heart would stop as he wrapped his legs around the crossbeams of the structure. It howled again and began shaking the derrick with unimaginable strength. It circled him shaking and howling. The tears streamed down the watchman's face.

He desperately hung on until the golden glow of the sun eventually began to rise. He heard the unknown beast walking off with slow methodical strides through the water. He looked below him, barely catching a glimpse of a tall bipedal canine-like creature moving away from him in the dim light. As the darkness vanished and dawn lit the swamp below he could see its footprints in the mud where it had circled him.

He stayed where he was until the day crew came. It took some time to coax him down and after hearing his story and seeing the footprints the men were at a loss as to what this thing could be. They sought out an older gentleman who had lived there all his life and he knew everything about the woods, creeks, and the bayous in the area. He had looked around the area and then looked at the tracks. A serious and stern countenance came over his face. They asked what he thought it was? He replied "Loup Garou."

Silence fell on the group as the old man pointed his finger in the direction of the tracks going deeper and disappearing into the dark cypress swamp. Then he said, "The Loup Garou is real. It's been a long time since I heard of one around here. But, It's real."

UFO OBSERVATIONS & REACTION by Vancouver, BC Eyewitness

A Vancouver, British Columbia resident describes his UFO sightings and identification attempt. He was also interested in his intense feelings during the 1st sighting, possibly telepathic.

"My name is JBS (initials). I’m 75 years old and I live in Vancouver BC, Canada. I have been interested in UFO phenomena for many years and have studied Paul R. Hill’s book “Unconventional Flying Objects: A Scientific Analysis.” Hill’s work makes sense to me and it did make it easier for me to put into context what I saw. I had my first sighting in 2016. These were 'Cloud Cigars.' I have written a description of that sighting. This second sighting was of a more common kind of UFO, the orange glowing sphere.

I got your email address from the article you published on Nexus Newsfeed.com entitled:

UFO sighting terrifies and overwhelms Nova Scotia teen for years

This is a copy of an email I sent to a friend on January 22, 2020:

"I just wanted to document this. Last Thursday, January 16, I was walking south on Vine Street on my way home from work at the Chan. It was about 10:30 PM. I stopped at about the corner of Vine and 6th Ave and was looking up at Orion, my favourite constellation, in the clear winter sky when overhead an orange glowing ball passed roughly west to east. It was about the size of a traffic light seen from about half a block away. It was a steady even glow. It was traveling at about the apparent speed of a small airplane just a few hundred feet overhead (like one of those Beaver airplanes they land on Vancouver Harbour) but it made no noise at all. It left no trail of sparks or flame. It passed without changing its round aspect, so I assumed immediately it was a sphere. From when I first saw it coming into my field of view coming from the west at about my 2 o'clock overhead angle and proceeding towards my 8 o'clock overhead angle I would say I could have counted from one-thousand-and-one to one-thousand-and-five.

[Paul R Hill describes his sighting of several orange spheres in 1952 he said were the apparent size of an amber traffic light seen from 2 blocks away and thus, if they were 20 feet in diameter as these types usually are, they would have been 15,000  to 18,00 feet up; he obtained data to triangulate his sighting and was able to confirm that they had been about 18,000 feet in altitude. From that account, I later estimated that my sphere may have been at about 4000 feet in altitude.] 

"When it reached to the position of 8 o'clock of my over angle it changed in colour to black and so disappeared. But it changed not instantly but gradually though quickly. In roughly half a second blackness washed like a stain in an enveloping wave from left to right of the sphere over the orange glow until it was extinguished while the sphere continued to travel with no apparent change in its speed of flight. I can have no way of knowing if once it had changed to black it increased its speed.

"I also cannot tell if it were a small sphere, perhaps the length of a Beaver airplane and several hundred feet up or if it were a large sphere higher up. At its apparent rate of progress, if it were large – say as big around as an airliner is long and several thousand feet up ( I've seen airliners coming in low to land at the airport in bad weather) it would have been moving at twice the speed of such an airliner. Knowing the apparent progress and apparent size of an airliner laying down a condensation trail going overhead at a typical cruising altitude of 30k feet and a typical cruising speed at an altitude of some 500 mph, if this object were that high up it would have been five times the length of a Boeing 757, some 800 feet in diameter, and many times faster, some 2 or 3 thousand miles per hour. UFOs that large and that fast have been observed to fly with no sound, and no sonic boom. This is explained very neatly by Paul R Hill's theory of a matter-repulsive force field supplying both forward impulse and smooth, non-turbulent progress through the air, creating no shock waves or perturbations and thereby no noise.

"I also recall a passage in Paul Hill's book where he says that the colours of the UFOs, really the glow of the ionized and excited air molecules around it, depending on the frequency of the energy of the force field. Orange indicates low power for slow cruising whereas bright blue-white is high power. But he also says that in certain circumstances very high power can produce deep black. I can't recall his explanation for that and I'm no physicist – but he was. "Unconventional Flying Objects: A Scientific Analysis" by Paul R Hill. It's the bible for UFO understanding.

"Eliminate the impossible and whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

"Was it an airplane? No. Wrong shape and has no noise. Was it a jet very high up so as to make no noise? No. An apparent orange glowing sphere that high up was no jet. Was it a meteor? No. No glowing trail of light or flame and going far too slowly for a meteor; I saw the videos of the Chelyabinsk bolide and this was no such thing.

"There's only one thing left. Unidentified? I hate that bullsh*t word. I just identified it. There is no other possibility but that it was an Alien Flying Craft. Had I not been already looking up at that moment I never would have seen it."

I had a unique feeling difficult to grasp. As it was with my first sighting, though not so intensely perhaps, I felt absolutely transfixed by the sight. I felt that my intense observation, made more intense by being drawn in telepathically, communicated to the passengers in the sphere telepathically, that they “read” my signal – the way a fighter pilot has a radar sensor that can sense when another radar scope is “locking him up” – and responded by blacking out their vehicle.

At that time I had a crude drawing program and I used it to make an illustration of the colour change I saw. Read it from left to right, 1 to 5. The change took about half a second. I have never read any accounts of such a colour change done in such a manner and I have no theory to explain it." JBS

Did a Coon Hunter SHOOT & KILL BIGFOOT in Harrison County, WV?

Did an old coon hunter from Harrison County, West Virginia actually shoot and kill a Bigfoot? According to the following account, even though there is little proof, the informant stated that it was true.

"I went to a friend's house in the Bridgeport area of Harrison County, West Virginia to sight in my new rifle. He began to tell me a story of a strange animal that was killed on this farm by the man who owned it before his death.

The farmer was a coon hunter and went out almost every night. One night the farmer's dogs got on a scent and took off. They ran for about an hour and stopped at the base of a tree as usual. The farmer made his way up the hill to the tree to shoot the coon the dogs had cornered. There was nothing there though. Thinking this was very strange he started to look around when he noticed a tree with its limbs shaking. Something was jumping from tree to tree to keep from being seen. The farmer finding this very strange went and told my friend what had happened and dismissed it altogether.

About a week later the supposed creature did the same trick. This made the old man suspicious because his dogs were very well-trained and had never let him down before. This happened for about a month when one night the dogs treed an animal and the farmer got there quickly and shot it. To his surprise, it was no coon.

It had long grayish, brown hair and was about five feet tall. Its hands were human-like and its feet were more hand-like than anything. I told my friend he was crazy so he decided to prove it to me. He told me the old man kept the animal but did not have it mounted cause he was afraid he had done something wrong.

My friend took me to the old barn and there it was. The old man had nailed its carcass to the wall. I was shocked! It was built a lot like a human and had hair 6 or 7 inches long on it. It had very large sharp teeth and resembled some kind of ape-looking creature. I told my friend I wouldn't say anything about it but I feel that it is my duty to report this. If anyone has any idea what this animal could be please let me know.

If someone would like to analyze the remains of this animal contact me by e-mail and maybe I can talk him into letting someone do some research on it. Please contact me because I am very interested in knowing what it is and I am very serious about this story because I saw it with my own two eyes." Unknown

NOTE: Supposedly, this incident occurred in the mid-1990s. An investigator from a West Virginia paranormal investigation group believed, at the time, that this account was a hoax since the informant refused a request for photographs or an on-sight analysis of remains.

This account was recently forwarded to me by a reader for my thoughts. I looked into the account and it seems that there have been a few variations posted online over the past 20 years or so. The account does seem to be contrived and embellished, but there really isn't much to go on. What are your thoughts? Lon

The 'Chicago Mothman' is back! A Little Village woman and her father had just left a grocery store and crossed the street when they observed a red-eyed bat-winged humanoid looking directly at them. They fled in terror. This is the 10th winged humanoid incident reported in Chicago's 'Little Village' community.
Also, a Memphis, Tennessee police officer recalls his bizarre encounter with a 'lizard humanoid' while on a special assignment in the late 1980s. A very interesting and detailed description of the creature. As well, San Bernardino County, California residents are now coming forward with their personal upright Dogman encounters.
I have received several requests for me to recount my 1988 red-eyed winged humanoid encounter at Camp Conewago in south-central Pennsylvania. I will describe the incident in detail and answer all questions.
