BIGFOOT at British Columbia Rest Stop Creates Havoc!

A hunting guide and his family are moving to Alaska, driving several trucks. While at a rest area for the night, a supposed Bigfoot wanders into the area prompting gunshots and mayhem.
"It was 2008, my family lived in rural Nevada and my dad was a hunting guide and convinced my mom to move up to Alaska. We made the 3000-mile drive along the Alaskan highway through Canada, spending a particularly large amount of time enjoying the Yukon Territory. We had 3 vehicles, all large trucks with trailers full of stuff. If you’ve driven along the Alaskan Highway there are lots of VERY large rest areas. My dad built an enclosure atop his tailgate of the truck and built a room with windows in it so my brothers and I could hang out and not be strapped into a seat the whole drive.
My dad being an avid hunter had some real trouble getting his 30+ guns through customs into Canada but once we were cleared he kept a 500 caliber revolver (bear protection) in the cab with him.
It was so late I don’t know what time, but was incredibly dark outside, and we stopped at a rest stop somewhere outside of the Liard Hot Springs, BC area. Give or take 50 miles. I was young.
We were all asleep when all of a sudden we heard several gunshots coming from inside the cab of the truck. My mom was hysterical and the other driver of the other vehicle was outside with a shotgun, my dad and he approached the edge of the cleared rest area, and all I could see was a very dense wall of trees.
I didn’t get to see it but when they had parked, the lights were on and illuminating the wall of forest. My dad was just looking ahead when all of a sudden he realized an immensely LARGE figure was standing perfectly still just at the edge of the tree line. He didn’t notice it though until it stepped towards our truck. He recalls its eyes being incredibly green and the reflection of the headlights made its eyes almost glow. My mom and the other driver’s girlfriend were in the portapotty just to the left of the trucks, so my dad immediately pulled out the revolver and started shooting as he was terrified the figure was going towards the portapoties. After the first shot was fired he said he’d never seen an animal react so fast and with such ease. I think about this night a lot and figured I’d get the story out there.
Some extras: It was not a bear whatsoever, my dad had been a seasonal traveling hunting guide for a few years at this point and had bagged several bears from black to brown to grizzly. We’ve driven that road several times since this night as we’ve been back and forth between Alaska and Nevada for years, and have not had another encounter. Still gives me insane chills though." FA

After a few questions, the witness stated the following:
"My father is a guide. You can’t just trek into the Alaskan wilderness hoping to bag an animal considered “big game” in Alaska. A lot of people die this way. Especially given the people who can actually afford to do this style of hunting are typically very inexperienced with the brutal Alaskan wilderness and many haven’t even bagged a big game animal before.
Many of these trips involve a 4-5 man crew flying out in a tiny float plane into the northern Alaska wilderness for at least a month at a time. So yes, 30+ guns allowed for many different scenarios and options. He also collected some black powder weapons too so it isn’t like he actually takes ALL the weapons. Only what was necessary for protection and whatever was needed to bag whatever animal they were going for.
If you aren’t familiar with the bush of Alaska it would be pretty impossible to understand the level of danger you are in just going on one of these trips. People die and go missing ALL the time.
I went on ONE trip with him, when I was 12. Let me tell you, worst trip of my life. I carried a .45 sidearm and a 12 gauge with slugs, I wasn’t the one hunting so it was all for protection. I spent the whole time frightened. We were only feet from absolutely massive bull moose and the biggest brown bear I had ever seen. And when the shots are fired at a brown bear, they don’t just drop/run like other animals, they want to kill. Once the main shooter shoots the first shot, there’s a couple seconds of hesitation to see what the animal will do, if it immediately approaches towards you, everyone starts firing. Very scary. I was trampled by a small mama moose just a couple months before this trip so my specific trauma with the big animals was at an all-time high too." FA

SASQUATCH Screams at Camper, Fells Large Tree Blocking Road (PHOTOS)

A camper at Colville National Forest in northeast Washington is startled by a loud scream near his tent and then hears a large tree fall. The tree blocks the road out of the area.

"My close encounter took place in the Colville National Forest in Washington. In September 2023 I was tent camping 6 miles up Sullivan Creek Road with my dog and things were pretty quiet that weekend. Even the ranger station back in town was already closed for the year. It was my third night camping there and I was supposed to leave early.

Something spooked my dog while we were sitting at the fire that night and knowing that no one else was camping out there I let her bark it out. She hadn't done that on previous nights but she's a sharp dog and I assumed she just heard a deer. However, she didn't stop after 5 minutes so I had to grab her and try to calm her down at the fire but she wasn't. But she was in full guard dog mode. I've been working in the woods as a field biologist for 10 years and I've heard dozens of Sasquatch stories from co-workers but I'm unfortunately someone who has to see to believe it, so to me, they're just good stories.

Feeling like I knew all the critters I could expect out there I didn't think much of her barking. Anyway, we got into the tent and fell asleep around 9 PM. Later, I jumped awake from a dead sleep at the sound of a spine-chilling scream very close to my tent. It's hard to describe or imitate but it sounded angry, loud, and unlike anything I've heard before. I felt like it was screaming with its face directed right at my tent. It only lasted about 10 seconds but it fell like forever and I just sat there listening for movement afterward, trying to imagine what could make that sound, and what I needed to do next.

It went silent so I laid back down hoping it went away. But about 10 minutes later I heard it. A big tree fell from a different direction but still very close to me. I opened my tent. looked up to see if it had gotten windy trying to justify a tree falling, but all the branches were still. That was it for me. I jumped out and did a quick scan of the campground with my headlamp and then threw all my stuff in the back of my rig including my scared dog and I ripped out of my campsite. But I was stopped by the tree that had fallen within 100 feet of my spot fully blocking the only road out. I only had an axe with me and I wasn't about to start chopping in the middle of the night. Not being able to explain all these events I parked back at my campsite and tried to sleep in my car but that didn't happen.

About 5 hours later I saw headlights behind the fallen trees so I walked out to find a group of bowhunters trying to get in. They said they didn't pack a chainsaw because there was no wind in the forecast. I told them it wasn't windy at all but I didn't mention the scream because I felt crazy. They were set on hunting up there so luckily they came back with the chainsaw a few hours later.

Here are the photos I took of the tree to show how big it was and where it broke 5 feet above the ground. I looked for other down trees or branches on my way out but I didn't see a single one.

When I got back into cell service I looked up screams including cougars, foxes, and fishers but nothing matched what I heard. That something spooked my dog, and then she made it mad with her barking, which in return got us screamed at, and a big evergreen falling within 10 minutes of the strange scream really has my head spinning."

'Did That MOOSE Just CRY FOR HELP?'

A US Army infantryman is on maneuvers at Fort Wainwright, Alaska when he and another soldier see an odd-looking moose. At the same time, something is calling for 'help!'

I received the following account:

"I’ve been in Alaska for more than 2 years and I’m stationed in Fort Wainwright. Every so often we go to field missions and where we go is super isolated. Me and a few guys were tasked to drive down this mountain that we are currently doing our training on and we replied “yes,” reluctantly because we just wanted some real food rather than the MREs we have been living off of for the past few days. While two of the soldiers were ground guiding me and my battle I’ll call 'Knox,' out of the runway, we noticed it started to get dark...fast. Being on that mountain is hardly ever ANY light unless it’s from the moon. But just to get a general idea, you could see the northern lights easily.

As we drive, Knox is telling me he has to urinate really bad so I just tell him to pull over. As he began to pull over, it got extremely quiet. I felt as if someone punched me in my gut because I started to get this strong sense of something watching me and I started to get goosebumps. I took it with a grain of salt that maybe it was just the MRE making my stomach hurt and the weather making the hairs on my skin stand. But then I felt paranoid, and I’ve never felt this way before in the field because I’ve been here numerous times before.

As he walks back to the truck I see the foliage on my right-hand side fall as if weight was being forced on it. I tap Knox’s shoulder and tell him to look in my direction. It was a moose, but it looked oddly skinny and the antlers just didn’t look “normal.” Our eyes got huge and he responded, “What the hell is that thing?”

I stammered because I wasn’t too sure what it was either. He buckled up and pressed the break but we heard “Help,” coming from the direction of the moose. My heart dropped and I felt the heat leave my face and I looked at him asking, “Did you hear that or was it just me?” He replied, “Bruh, I heard that.” He laughed nervously and we turned off the truck and shined our headlamps towards the moose’s direction. (We are 89B, so we carry our standard M4s with us in the vehicle when we are transporting ammo whether there is anything in the cans or not, just because it’s for our safety).

Knox and I looked in the cab to just verify we had our weapons on us, and we did. I jumped out of the cab and he followed with our headlamps still on the moose. We walked closer and the word “help,” was getting louder and louder. We got a few more feet closer but not extremely too close to the moose and it ran back into the wood line making me and Knox jump. We looked at each other and we were both probably thinking the same thing... “Did that moose just cry for help?”

I told him I was getting cold and he agreed, so we paced back to the truck as fast as possible. As I closed the door, we heard the words “HELP,” but louder than what it was earlier. I got that gut feeling right after I heard the words and looked into the dark wood line and saw red eyes. I gulped and told him to look but he put the truck in drive and sped off. We talked for a a few minutes about the situation and complete silence followed right after. When we got done with the mission he sped up the mountain to get back to where the rest of the company was and he didn’t say a word. He sleeps on the cot next to me and he didn’t speak to anyone about the situation. I’m a bit shaken by the situation myself.

Whatever it was that called for help, I’m sorry I never went into the wood line." FC

Was the BLACK-EYED GIRL at the Door a FAE? DEMON?

After a series of strange incidents, it culminates in a knock at the door. The Irish woman sees a girl at the door and then realizes that she has black eyes. Was this a Fae?

I received the following account:

"I'm telling this story for the first time. The only other people who know about this are my immediate family members. I know it sounds completely fabricated and I have no way to prove any of it. But it happened. I'll do my best.

I'm originally from Ireland. I moved to the States roughly 20 years ago. This story takes place in County Clare, Ireland when I was about 15 years old.

One afternoon I was walking through the woods near my home. I was alone. I was a loner in my youth, and I would often stroll the woods until I found a tree to sit beneath and write. Writing has always been my hobby. My point is that I was very familiar with these woods. I felt safe there.

On this particular day, I was walking a path to a specific tree that was my favorite to sit beneath. The sounds of the woods were all around me. There was a gentle breeze, and while I couldn't see the birds I could hear them. It was comforting.

And then it all stopped. Everything became unnaturally still. The air was still, the birds stopped twittering, and I no longer heard a single thing. I had never experienced this before. It was as if I had suddenly become deaf. There was just nothing. No sound, no movement, no breeze.

At this point, I had started to become anxious. I wasn't yet afraid but I started home anyway. The feeling in the woods was not what I was used to. I was no longer comforted, so I decided to go home.

It was then that I saw movement from the corner of my eye. Nothing I could pinpoint, but a dark shape that was just...there. And then it wasn't. Everything else was still that eerie calm. I started to walk faster, and then the black shape again. This time on my other side. Now I was afraid. I began to run. I still heard nothing but I was sure something was chasing me.

When I reached my home I ran inside and slammed the door, fully expecting my mum to yell at me for slamming. But she wasn't there. In fact, nobody was home. That was a bit odd but not unheard of. Finally gaining some sanity I decided I needed tea. Now. So I began to boil the water for tea. And then there was a knock at the door.

I jumped. My heart rose to my throat. Nobody knocked in these parts. It was a small village where everyone knew everyone else. Everyone was family. There was no knocking. There was a friendly "Oy there" and then people came in, so a knock was strange.

I crept over to the glass in the door and peeked out. I noticed two things right away that terrified and confused me. The first was a child. A girl of maybe 10 or 12, looking not at me but at her feet. The second thing scared me to my toes. It was getting dark. How was that possible? I had left to go on my walk in midday. The sun had been fully out and I had been gone no longer than 40 minutes. How then was it dark? I looked at the clock. It was almost 7. How? How had I misplaced five hours? The knock came again and I jumped again. I didn't open the door.

I called out, "Oy there. Can I help ya?"

The girl didn't look up. She said "I need to come in. Please let me in" She had no accent. She wasn't Irish. There was no lilt to her voice. She sounded American.

I called out again, "I can't let you in. But I'll ring someone if you need help."

The child still didn't look up. She said, "No, that won't work. I need to come in"

At this point, I had had enough of the strange scary child. She was freaking me out. I wanted my mum. I wanted my dad. I wanted to know where five hours of my life had gone and I was so frightened at this point that not even tea was going to help. So I did what any teenage girl would do when faced with a situation such as this. I screamed and ran to my bed. I covered myself with my blanket and waited for my mum to come home. These were pre-cellular phones and I was not going to risk going to the kitchen to phone someone. Plus I had no idea who I would call. The girl was still knocking on the door. But she never moved to a window or to the back door. She stayed at the front door.

After a while, I got my nerve up to go check again. It had been silent for a bit. I went to the door and looked out the glass. The girl was still there. But she was no longer at the door. She was sitting on the fence. She was no longer looking down. She was looking right at me. And in the fading light, it looked like her eyes were pitch black. I screamed again and ran back to the safety of my blanket.

Eventually, my mum came home. I told her what happened. She decided that it was my overactive imagination but she did call down to the shops and the pub to find out if anyone in town had American family visiting or if anyone knew who the girl was. Nobody did. My grandmother told me I had survived an encounter with the Fae (fairies) and that I was lucky. She was the only one who ever believed me.

I never saw the girl again. I never missed time again. I never felt the absolute stillness in the woods again (when I got up my courage to go back)

After I moved to the States and years later I heard of black-eyed children. My story seemed to coincide with that. But that's ridiculous, right? I still have no explanation. Demon? Faerie? (The Fae are said to be evil and will kidnap children and the woods were near a faerie hill) ghost? Black-eyed child? I don't know. But it happened. I swear to that." IM

DEER/CANINE-LIKE HYBRID Encountered Near Gallipolis, Ohio

An Ohio teen and his mother encounter a bizarre deer/canine-like hybrid with human-like skin while driving at night near Gallipolis, across the river from Point Pleasant, WV.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"This story is from a few years ago but my mother and I remember every single detail of what happened, but I would like some advice. I'm just not sure what we saw.

So when I was about in middle school my mom and I were driving home. It was winter and a full moon because I remember the snow glowing under the moon. It was only 6 PM but really dark.

So we are going about 55 mph when this thing crosses and stops in front of us. The only way I can describe it is that it was if you combined a deer, a dog, and a human. It stood about as tall as our windshield, it had the legs of what I can describe as a deer, its back was hunched over, and walking on all fours. It had the head of a dog, minus ears, but its eyes were white and it didn't have a tail. The freakish thing about this creature was its skin. It wasn't a canine with mange or anything. It had actual human skin all the way down its legs, too long to be dog legs. It had a rotting meat odor and some parts of the flesh were broken open like if you would scrape your knee. It was pale white and you could see its veins.

This thing was FAST! It stood there and just ran across the road in the blink of an eye. My mom had to pull over to calm down, but we both saw it.

This sighting was in southeastern Ohio, near Gallipolis. Did we see a crawler?" GB

RIPPED TENT, UNKNOWN GRUNTS & STRANGE CANINE-LIKE PRINTS Ends Family's Desire For Camping

A witness describes several strange incidents while camping that led to him and his family not ever feeling safe in the outdoors. These included unknown canine-like prints and a ripped tent.

"I realized my experiences were not just normal things in the wilderness and outdoors. These experiences continue to trouble me to this day. My first one was when I was a kid. My dad was a logger so we spent most of our time in the outdoors and woods camping and fishing and camping near my dad's job site since it was easier to camp nearby than for my dad to drive those distances every day. Most of those camping trips were normal.

The last camping trip we went on, a job site camping trip, was a weird one. On normal camping trips, my dad would always bring along his rifle or pistol due to the bears and mountain lions that were always around. But this time he was worried. He brought both his rifles and pistol. He specifically told us kids and my mom to not go wandering off or go too far from the campsite. His explanation was that there had been a big bear spotted in the logging site and near camp. It seemed to have shaken him and he was a logger, nothing ever shook him like that. But he never said anything else about it and never wanted to camp again. That was the last time we camped near one of his job sites. He openly says, even to this day, that he hates camping but never says why. I didn't see or hear anything out there on that trip but there was an uneasy feeling that I had not felt while camping before. So I wonder what was really going on.

My next experience was about 6 years ago. I used to take my kids camping about 45 minutes from where we currently live. We'd go every summer. It allowed the kids to be able to just be kids and have fun camping. The last camping trip we went on was at the same place we had been going to every year. It was not a normal camping trip, far from it and it still makes my hair stand on end just thinking about it. We tried camping there two more times after this one I'm going to tell you about but ended up coming back home. It just didn't feel right out there anymore.

It started out normal but quickly went to strange and creepy. We had our tents set up right next to each other. One was mine, and the other two were my kid's tents. They were not small tents, the tops of them stood taller than I am and I'm 51. You'll understand why I added that when you read my experience.

The first night was a bit odd because we heard strange noises in the campground that we had not ever heard before. I figured it was raccoons because they were known to be out there but my kids and I had an uneasy feeling that we could not pin down to anything that would cause it. We all tried to shrug it off and enjoy our camping trip. That night my kids wanted to sleep in the car so I agreed and we all slept in the car. The next day we found tracks too big to be a raccoon so I thought it's got to be a coyote. But the tracks looked odd, so I snapped a couple of pics of them with my phone and sent the pics to my dad. He hunted and worked in the woods for over 20 years so he knows animal tracks. I asked him what they were and his response shocked me. He said he honestly didn't know, which was odd. If it had been raccoons he would have identified that right away. The tracks were all over our campsite and too big to be raccoons but didn't look like coyotes either. They looked canine of some sort with skinny long feet and claws.

We all slept in the car the third night and saw the same prints again but they had circled the car. We talked about it to the fish and wildlife officer that had come out there that day and he shrugged it off and said they get raccoons out there all the time and it was nothing to worry about. He wouldn't even look at the tracks, trying to keep things light and fun. I just told my kids it wasn't anything to worry about but they could sleep in the car again. I didn't want to scare them so I tried to do what we normally do while camping.

I stupidly decided to sleep in my tent that night and my kid slept in the car. My back was on fire from sleeping in the car for two nights so I slept in my tent. I had an overwhelming sense of uneasiness so I stayed away and started reading a book on my Kindle hoping it would put me at ease and take my mind off the feeling I had. It didn't but I tried to go to sleep anyway. After reading for a bit that feeling hit even stronger and harder. Then I heard a deep heavy grunt from something very large. No way that was from a coyote. Whatever that came from had to be very large and heavy from the sound of that grunt or snort. I was scared out of my mind. I thought of my kids in my car. I knew that they were safer than I was in a tent, with no protection from a tent. But I was scared for the safety of my kids and I knew whatever this thing was it was between me and my kids in my car, so I had no chance of getting to them. If I ran and the car was parked far enough from my tent that there was nothing I could do but wait listen and be ready to get my kids at all costs. Luckily that didn't happen. I didn't hear anything after that so I eventually went to sleep after peeking out of the door of the tent and not seeing anything or anyone out there.

The next morning I got out of my tent and got ready to start breakfast. I went to the tent directly next to mine because I wanted to see if an animal had gotten in there or tried to because we had an empty cooler in there. So I opened up the tent and was shocked. Something had torn the back of that tent from the top of it down to the bottom in three long tears about a foot to a foot and a half apart and along the bottom of the tent. Where the back meets the ground was torn all the way across the bottom. I've never seen that before. No way a raccoon did that. The cooler had not been touched, no scratches or bite marks on it and the lid was still on and in place. It didn't have hinges to keep the lid on. I didn't hear the ripping of the tent at all and I should have heard that. There's no way I would have missed it. I didn't sleep heavily that night. I was on edge and ready to protect my kids so I can't explain how I didn't hear that racket of the tent being shredded like that.

I said earlier, we did try to go camping there again after that but none of us felt comfortable there. It was always the same uneasy feeling so we stopped camping. Where we live there are not many campsites unless you want to drive hours away which was and is not an option. But in all honesty, my kids and myself just don't feel the same about camping anymore. There's just no desire for it. I don't know what that was out there nor do I care to know but I do have a few thoughts on what it may have been and it's not a normal animal."

A Reader Asks: IS BIGFOOT AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL?

The following inquiry was sent to me a while back, but I still receive the same questions from readers and others who have listened to my interviews. I believe that my responses back then are still relevant today.

A reader forwarded the following email:

"Hi, Lon. I read your site daily and have enjoyed the personal stories of your readers. I had an experience when I was a boy that I hope would be of interest.

In September 1978, I lived with my father on a farm in the vicinity of Shawano, Wisconsin which is very near the Menominee Indian Reservation. There had been some buzz within the community of an unknown large hairy creature spotted by two deer hunters not far from our farm. I had heard stories of the Manabai'wok or 'The Giants' from stories told by the Menominee, but I just considered these tales to be legends.

Then one evening, my father and I were coming home from the store and noticed what appeared to be two hairy creatures collecting squash from the garden. Each creature was at least 6 feet tall. It was dusk but there was enough light to clearly see what they were doing. My father immediately cut the headlights and stopped the car as we just sat there and watched them pick and eat the squash. They didn't seem to even notice us even though we were about 100 feet from them.

After about 5 minutes, one of the creatures looked in our direction and you could see its eyes glow red from the moonlight. We started to get scared and decided to make a dash for the house and call the police. Then suddenly, huge disc-shaped objects appeared above us and slowly moved towards the east field which was about 200 hundred yards from us, and landed. I estimate the craft was about 40 feet in diameter. A large sliding door opened immediately and a foggy green light glowed from within the craft. After a few seconds, the door closed and the craft slowly rose and shot off toward the north. Then we noticed that the creatures were gone.

A few days later, our neighbors from down the road came over for dinner. After we finished eating, my father and Mr. Cain walked outside. After an hour or so, the neighbors left and I started to clean up the kitchen. Later that evening, I was watching TV in the living room. My father walked in, turned off the TV, and sat down beside me. He told me that Mr. Cain and his sister witnessed one of the craft on the same night that we had our encounter. As well, they witnessed several of the large hairy creatures meandering in the nearby woods. Mr. Cain said that he knew something had been in the woods for several weeks but never got a good look until the craft arrived. After that night, we never had another encounter nor did we hear of more sightings by any people in the area.

Do you think that these creatures were Bigfoot, aliens, or one and the same? It has always seemed strange to me that a Bigfoot body has never been found. Is it a possibility that Bigfoot is an extraterrestrial being? Thanks, Donald"

My response:

First, the definition of interdimensional: an advanced theory that UFOs and accompanying events involve visitations from other "realities" or "dimensions" that coexist separately alongside our own. As well, these UFOs and events are a modern manifestation of a phenomenon that has occurred throughout recorded human history, which in prior ages were ascribed to mythological or supernatural creatures. The interdimensional theory is an alternative to the extraterrestrial hypothesis.

Back in the Summer of 2010, I posted a poll that posed the question ‘What is Bigfoot / Sasquatch?’ To my surprise, 26% of the 574 participants answered they believed this creature was an interdimensional and/or extraterrestrial. Are we at a point where people are open-minded enough to accept that a hominid-type species may not be of our time or planet?

I posed this question to my readers and challenged them to make their case. Again, I was surprised at the amount of response I received. A total of 112 emails, with well-thought-out theories and opinions, were received in three days.

Longtime researcher and writer Nick Redfern referenced a woman named Jenny Burrows, who had a remarkable tale about a creature she claimed to have encountered in a particularly dense area of Seattle woodland: nothing less than a fully-grown Saber-Tooth Tiger.

According to Jenny, she had been walking through the woods with her pet Labrador dog, Bobbie, when it suddenly stopped in its tracks, whined loudly, and dropped to the ground, shaking.

Thinking that it had possibly had a seizure, Jenny quickly bent down to comfort her pet, and could then see that the dog was staring intently to its left. Following the gaze of the dog, Jenny was horrified to see moving in the undergrowth what looked like a large cat – “like a mountain lion, but much bigger.”

That the creature was possibly a mountain lion filled Jenny with dread; however, that dread was amplified to stratospheric proportions when its face could clearly be seen; including the two huge teeth that were the absolute hallmark of the Saber-Tooth Tiger.

As Jenny said to me, with much justification: “You don’t have to work in a zoo or a museum to know what a Saber-Tooth Tiger looks like: everyone knows.”

It was then, however, that Jenny’s story became even more bizarre.

As the cat loomed fully into view and out of the confines of the bushes and undergrowth, she could see that its body seemed to be semi-transparent and that, “the bottom of its front paws were missing.”

Jenny concluded, she told me, that what she was seeing was not a still-living Saber-Tooth at all. Rather, she thought, it was “the ghost of a Saber-Tooth” that was haunting its old pathways and hunting grounds – thousands of years after its physical death.

Could it be true? Are ghostly creatures really roaming our planet? Perhaps the idea is not as far out as it might seem. Though this may likely have been a residual spirit of a once-living creature, it may also be a manifestation of a non-terrestrial or interdimensional being. Our world cultures possess thousands of cryptid and humanoid legends that have been told for hundreds, maybe thousands, of years. Is there a chance that we are chasing real entities that slip in and out of our plane of existence?

I was told of the experiences of a well-known veteran Sasquatch investigator in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains who stated that he was watching one of these creatures walk away from him and then suddenly disappear. The terrain did not offer cover or camouflage and there was no direction that the creature could have taken without being seen. There were no caves or holes for the Sasquatch to duck into…it just vanished.

My friend and colleague Rick Phillips posted an interesting reference in his blog a while back. Jonathan Downes, of the Centre for Fortean Zoology, first coined the term Zooform in 1990 and maintains that many of these phenomena result from complex psychosocial and sociological phenomena, and suggests that to classify all such phenomena as ‘paranormal’ in origin is counterproductive. Thoughtform may be understood as a ‘psychospiritual’ complex of energy or consciousness manifested either consciously or unconsciously, by an individual or a group. Thought forms are understood differently and take on different forms. Rick makes a reference that anomalies and paranormal entities might fall into the category of Temporary beings. Temporal characters that represent ideas, such as the Bigfoot-type entities that were reported on the Skinwalker ranch or, for that matter, any type of Bigfoot, Mothman, or Chupacabras. S.A. Robinson, a self-described ‘armchair Bigfoot researcher’ states that it’s understandable that a subject as odd as this one, with the supposition that there is an enormous hairy creature that lives in forests around the country without being clearly photographed, videotaped, or fully understood, should attract a good deal of divisiveness and even infighting. When proponents of the 'flesh and blood' camp mix with those who favor a 'magical' explanation, it can sour both sides from the real objective, which is to prove conclusively this entity's existence.

The principle of the simplest explanation, usually being the correct one, stands up in terms of building theories, but it should not be used as an arbiter between two opposing theories…and so we are left with the two camps.

He continues to explain that because of the similarities between our current understanding of the UFO phenomenon and that of Sasquatch, the fleeting visual aspect (most reports lasting less than a few seconds) the high strangeness (UFOs and Bigfoot moving at extreme speed often with disregard to physics) and with lack of much physical evidence (some trace material like radioactive soil or some unusual hair), not to mention the seeming invulnerability of both phenoms to physical attack (no UFOs or BF downed by gunfire) the link between Bigfoot and UFO encounters must fall into a similar category.

Why, in these modern times, with so much technology, do we not have a full accounting of everything in our animal kingdom? Some will cite the case of the Coelacanth fish as evidence of an evolutionary throwback that, due to its extreme habitat, was thought to be extinct until it was brought to fresh, modern speculation in a fishing net. To suggest that Bigfoot falls into this same explanation is to say that we have not really looked deeply enough into the woods. I refute this suggestion, as we can see nearly every square foot of the planet in high detail from space through satellite technology. We have a military/industrial complex that can ferret out any heat-producing organism of human size (or larger) with FLIR-equipped cameras, and despite the large tracts of uninhabited land on the North American continent, humans have traipsed on so much of it that over the past fifty to one hundred years we have compiled perhaps several thousand decent eyewitness reports of weird footprints, strange sounds, and sightings of the giant hairy extra-human entity.

A subscriber states that just because we don't understand how Bigfoot moves in and out of another dimension or what their purpose is, doesn't rule out this possibility. He has questioned a variety of people that channel inter-dimensional beings and every time the answer turns out that Bigfoot are indeed inter-dimensional beings as well. Many other beings can move in and out of another dimension including fairies, gnomes, sprites, and others. Indigenous people worldwide will verify this as they have strived to maintain their connection to earth and natural beings while the ‘civilized’ world has nearly completely lost touch. Only young children and intuitive adults can see/feel these beings as they move in and out of other dimensions. It’s time for us to wake up to this possibility regardless of what conventional wisdom and science have to say about the matter. The evidence is there…time to become open to a broader perspective.

Well-known paranormal investigator Jon-Eric Beckjord’s theories sum up much of the argument. He believed that Bigfoot and similar cryptids may be interdimensional beings that can occasionally take physical form for brief periods but can ‘fade out’ and pass through ‘wormholes’, possibly to other dimensions or parallel universes. He reported having had one of the creatures speak to him using telepathy, communicating the words ‘We're here, but we're not real, like what you think is real’. Beckjord claimed that such entities may be able to actually disappear into thin air, or even shapeshift.

Beckjord maintained that the interdimensional hypothesis may possibly, if proven, explain why there are thousands of alleged Bigfoot creature sightings each year, yet no dead zoological physical body is ever found. To evidence these ideas, Beckjord accumulated a large collection of enlarged photographs that he says show, among other things, ‘half-Bigfoots’ and ‘invisible Bigfoots’, or possible aliens. The forms are often found in situations where the camera picks up images not seen by the witnesses, often due to distance. According to Beckjord, the images show primates, carnivores, and beings not readily identified within known zoological classifications that resemble descriptions of aliens submitted to investigators. He conducted much field work, such as camping out at ‘window sites’ where, he said, Bigfoot activity is frequently seen. He collected his own photographic evidence of what he believes to be a ‘tribe’ of either Bigfoots or aliens at El Dorado National Forest.

Beckjord's strong beliefs about Bigfoot and similar entities brought him into conflict not only with skeptics, who consider Bigfoot sightings to be a cultural phenomenon purely resulting from wishful thinking or hoaxes but also with those who believe Bigfoot to be an actual physical creature.

Researcher and author Kewaunee Lapseritis maintains that the Bigfoot race was brought to Earth by the ‘Star People’, long before human civilization. His evidence is the creature’s use of telepathic communications, alleged hundreds of joint Bigfoot-UFO sightings going back over a hundred years, and theoretical physics. He also stated that conventional Bigfoot investigators have not found the creature because they are limited in their belief that Bigfoot is "simply a relic hominid that never became extinct." "That really may be true," Lapseritis said in an interview. "But in addition to that, (Bigfoot) may literally be, as I've discovered, a paraphysical, interdimensional native people that have told me and other people telepathically that they were brought here millions of years ago by their friends, the ‘Star People.’

I recently received a telephone call from a woman in British Columbia who said she was the daughter of a Kootenai shaman. She stated that most Native tribes seem to believe Sasquatch is a non-physical creature. Some tribal elders mention that they have seen the creature shapeshift into a wolf. She said her father thought that the creatures lived in another dimension from our physical plane, but can come here as it wishes. He also believed that Sasquatch has great psychic abilities and that the creature can be visible to some people, while at the same time remain invisible to others in the same group.

I recall a story that I bookmarked some time ago. I’m not sure who wrote it but I do know that it was told to an alternative author or researcher by one or two of the witnesses and demonstrates several facets of a paranormal Sasquatch.

On one warm summer night, three teenage girls had gone to visit another friend. Her parents were out of town, so the girls planned to watch TV, play music, and have a fun and enjoyable evening. During the night, their discussion turned to horror movies and the paranormal so the four girls decided to try out an old Ouija board.

None of them were frightened by the board or the possible implications...in fact, they had no real idea at all how to even use the board, apart from what they had seen on TV or read. However, what initially started out as nothing more than a bit of late-night fun quickly changed into something much darker and much more terrifying.

Using familiar television imagery, they removed a wine glass from a kitchen cupboard, placed the index fingers of their right hands atop it, and were soon working the board. There were questions about boys when they would marry, and attempts to contact dead relatives followed...all to no avail. However, something decidedly odd did occur: on two occasions, the electricity went off, which scared the living daylights out of the four friends.

One of the girls explained later: “When that happened with the electricity, we all kind of looked at each other and decided to stop.” It was all too late, the damage was done, and a doorway was unwittingly opened. Nothing further happened that evening.

The host girl, whose name was Laura, can't explain much of what happened as the next day progressed and afternoon became early evening. Once again the electricity failed, around 6.00 p.m., and the dark, foreboding feelings began to take an ever-stronger hold on Laura’s mind. She decided to retire to the comfort and (so she thought, at least) safety of her bedroom.

Later that night, Laura was woken from a deep sleep in the early hours and heard what sounded very much like a loud, yet disturbing, animal-like “scream” emanating from the vicinity of a small, but densely-packed, area of woodland situated at the rear of the family home. Cautiously, but also curiously, Laura got out of bed, went to the window, and peered out into the darkness and the shadows. Nothing out of the ordinary could be seen, so she returned to her bed and was soon asleep again...but not for long.

It was approximately 2:00 a.m. when Laura was jolted from her slumber by what she described as “the grossest smelling thing ever: like an old rotting cabbage.” Laura put out her hand to turn on the lamp that sat on a small bedside table when she was horrified and panic-stricken by the sight of a silhouetted, large, black, hairy figure that was partially eclipsed by the shadows in the darkened room.

Laura said the creature was “hunched over and had huge, long arms and big, white eyes.” She added that at the very moment she tried to scream out loud she experienced a sudden feeling of paralysis: “I was sitting up, but couldn’t speak or move at all,” she stated.

The worst was still to come: the hairy giant slowly moved in Laura’s direction, stooped down over her, and brought its face within eight or nine inches of hers. The creature was, Laura explained, “just like Bigfoot: a big hairy thing that I couldn’t tell if it was a monkey or a hairy man.”

For several moments, the giant beast stared intently and deeply into her eyes, then slowly and carefully backed away, until the point came where its dark mass was almost indistinguishable from the shadows that dominated the room.

The strange form ultimately disappeared, Laura recalled: “like it had been sucked into the shadows.” Notably, Laura added that although the beast had certainly scared her out of her wits, she did not get the feeling that it was in any way directly hostile. Instead, it was her opinion that the creature had appeared to warn her “not to get mixed up with ghosts and Ouija boards again.” Unsurprisingly, since that day Laura has not.

The beast has never returned.

Now, I wonder what a traditional Bigfoot researcher would say about that story?

Maybe we’ll discover beyond a doubt where the truth lies about Sasquatch. We may actually kill several birds with one stone if or when we do find the answers to our questions. There may be a grand connection between all the mysteries in our world, possibly involving other worlds or dimensions as well. Mankind may be the greatest mystery of all and the reason why Sasquatch, extraterrestrials, spirits, etc. seem to be as fascinated with us as we are with them.

“While many cryptozoologists and cryptozoology supporters find such theories ridiculous, and often laugh them off, we would all do well to remember that the so-called "mainstream" of science has much the same reaction when presented with the possibility of Sasquatch existing at all. If we hope for mainstream scientists to keep an open mind, we must lead by example and not waste time and energy, that would be better spent searching for evidence, fighting amongst ourselves.” – James R. Wisconsin Friends Observe Bizarre FEMALE APPARITION, Followed by a LOUD UFO

A group of Watertown, Wisconsin teens are riding their bikes when they notice an apparition of a woman wearing old-style clothes. Later, they observe a UFO that makes a loud whooshing sound.

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. I live in Watertown, Wisconsin, which is in Jefferson County. Back in the fall of 2002 I was 17 years old and had an experience with six or seven friends on County Road Y. The encounter was an apparition and a UFO sighting/landing within 20 to 30 minutes of each other.

The night began with a group of friends coming over to my parents' house on County Road Y. It was a foggy night, so my friends and I were riding our bikes up and down the road ahead of my parent's house. The property was an old farm and the main part of the house was a log cabin built in the 1840s. A big barn and garages were sitting on about five acres.

As we were riding our bikes in front of the barn on the road, one of my friends said, 'What is that thing?' We all looked and it was a figure of a woman that was wearing old-time garb. She was orange-like in color and just a tad see-through. The weirdest thing was the very jerky movements she was making. It seemed like her movement was like a skipping of a record or something like that - very choppy. It was creepy, to say the least. We watched the woman for a while. None of us six or seven teenagers were too scared for some reason and we all watched it for a few minutes and then went back to riding bikes.

About 20 minutes later my friend Josh pointed out a very bright white light in the sky. We stopped riding our bikes to look at it. Josh pulled out a laser pointer pen and shined it at the light. The light then made a huge "J" shape in the sky. No airplane or helicopter could fly fast enough to make a giant "J" shape in the sky that fast. So after making the "J" in in the sky, we heard an extremely loud wooshing sound almost like a huge turbine or engine was shutting off. It seemed like the object had landed in a backfield.

That did scare all of us teenagers and we ran as fast as we could into my parent's house and stayed there for the night. The whole night had a strange vibe to it. I will never forget it. Thank you, JM"

LARGE 'INSECT-SHAPED' UFO Shoots Projectiles at Illinois Eyewitness!

An Illinois man had been capturing photos of various UFOs for quite some time. Then a large 'insect-shaped' craft appears and starts shooting projectiles at him and a school bus!

I received the following account:

"Hello, Mr. Strickler. It was November 17, 2017, at approximately 3 PM. I was driving home on the interstate (I-57) and headed north. I had been capturing a lot of UFOs on camera outside of Effingham, Illinois where I work. It got to the point that it seemed I could get at least 2 or 3 photos a week by just randomly taking photographs of the sky. They were either triangles, rectangles, or shaped like a bottle of Pennzoil.

On this day I felt I was being watched, so I decided to film my rearview mirror on the driver's side. I noticed immediately an object by the sun, lowered its altitude, and then went back up. It reminded me of a large insect/robot. It stayed with me flying up over bridges as I went under them and dodged other vehicles. At one point it had to maneuver around trees on the side of the road. It had half a ball of light on the bottom and smaller ones with it. I thought it shot at me and could hear something hit my vehicle.

At one point a small projectile nearly hit a school bus. I became angered at that point and said "Do you know who I am?" That is when an orb shot towards them. Either from me or from somewhere else. I lost track of it as I got into town. The entire event lasted approximately 15 minutes.

During the event, I felt attacked and invaded. After a few months, I felt almost as if it was a test. I feel like that because I have many photos and another video of black objects going into a partial rainbow. I had 3 cameras running that day. 1 was in sepia mode and captured them and an orb came out of a field. The 2 cameras without sepia captured only the rainbow.

BTW, I was unable to capture a photo of the object. I thought that I had, but the image on my digital camera was totally blank." V

Minnesota Boy Scouts Experience TREMENDOUS ROARS & ROCK THROWING

A group of Eagle Scouts were taking survival training in a Minnesota nature area. As they went out from the base camp, a loud roaring sound and rock throwing began.

I received the following account:

“The story I am going to relate to you goes back to 1975. I’m like 10 years old and my grandfather was a scoutmaster, which means he trained Eagle Scouts. So he and a junior scoutmaster would take between 8 to 10 kids out in the woods for survival camping skills. I was known as little Sherpa, which means I would carry my grandfather's camping gear in a duffel bag.

We hiked up into the Spirit River Nature Area in Minnesota. It was about a five-mile hike, and when we got there we were all exhausted. The Eagle Scouts-to-be would take their survival gear which consisted of a canteen of water, a knife, a flint bar (for fire starting), and a compass. They were dispatched in several directions and ordered to walk approximately a quarter mile away from the main campsite. Once gone my grandfather and the junior scoutmaster began having a conversation talking about this and that when suddenly there was a tremendous roaring scream that came from somewhere away from where we were. The sound was, I don’t know, penetrating somehow. It seemed to come from all around us. My grandfather was a World War II vet and also an all-around tough guy, but whatever this was, I could tell it scared him. Even at eight years old I knew this was something unusual.

Suddenly, from what seemed to be all directions, these young Eagle Scouts-to-be came running back into the camp white-faced and generally freaked out. My grandfather decided that we should all stay in the main camp that night, and things died down for a moment or two, just kids talking wild stories, etc. Suddenly a shower of rocks and twigs and branches began to shower our general campsite. My grandfather picked up one of those old-school flashlights that he had carried with him. It must’ve had eight batteries in it, read a newspaper on the moon kind of thing, and began shining it into the general forest all around us. The junior scoutmaster joined in with his flashlight as well but saw absolutely nothing. I do remember it being an awfully quiet night after that. Dead quiet.

At what I would imagine to be around 2 o’clock in the morning we were all startled awake again by this guttural scream that seemed to pass through us like the concussion of a large firework. We did not get any sleep the rest of that night, and although this was supposed to be a three-day camping trip, it ended that next morning, and yes all of the Eagle Scouts were given their credits for their survival camp.

Looking back on it many things have happened in my life that were weird, but that one will always stay with me. I have no idea what it could have been, and I’ve never heard anything even close to that awful sound. Thanks for your time.” K
