Bizarre MIMICKING HUMANOID Stalks Hikers in Southern Colorado

A group of British and American hikers are trekking through southern Colorado when they encounter an odd humanoid figure that mimics the voice of one of the group.

This account came to me from an associate:

"Before I begin, a bit of background; I’m 28 years old and I live in Kent, England. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always had this weird obsession with the United States, travelling through the States and generally seeing lots of sights. I’m not a city guy, far from it; my parents are both farmers and I like the outdoors a lot. I joined a rock climbing club when I was in my teens and met two good friends James and Grant (who came on the trip with me in 2012). I had always planned to go to the States, Colorado to be specific because of the forests and the mountains. We all agreed to go; saved for a year and off we went.

We were in Denver and later we travelled south. Through Colorado Springs, down to Walsenburg, and then headed west and ended up in a very small town after about 4 to 5 hours (somewhere close to the New Mexico border). We had actually got there due to meeting some friends in Denver, who were keen explorers like ourselves and they asked if we wanted to join them on a road trip/camping trip. So we did. There were 5 of them, Chris, another James, Richard, Melissa and Lucy. And us 3, Myself, James, and Grant.
The first two nights were great, Chris and Richard liked to hunt and had brought alone their rifles with them and they taught us a few things about shooting and whatnot. On the third night, all 8 of us went on a little walk through the forest, having a look around and taking all the amazing views in. The girls, Lucy and Melissa wanted to head back to the cabin to start cooking the dinner for us and Richard went back with them. So, Chris, the two James’, Grant, and I roamed around.
Up ahead on the trail I pointed out to Chris, I saw what looked like a deer but as quick as I could grab their attention and turned back around, it was gone. I’d probably made way too much noise to be honest and scared it off. But a few minutes later I saw it again. It was a little weird though. It looked a little darker than a deer, and had more fur; it didn’t look right at all. It was like a man on all fours or something and just didn’t seem to move very smoothly. I must have been so focused on this deer that I was completely oblivious to the smell that surrounded us that Grant pointed out. It smelled like death and blood, but it seemed warm and metallic. It was horrible. I asked Chris if there was some kind of factory nearby but he said there wasn’t really anything like that for miles. I really did smell, it was stomach-turning and I have a strong stomach from living on a farm for my whole life.
We turned back anyway to head towards the cabin to meet the others. We walked for about 10 minutes when I saw what looked like the same deer in the distance to my right and I swear to God it stood up on its hind legs. I called Chris at the front and said to the others to look to the right and they did. James laughed and said it looked like a guy and Grant suggested it was another group of people out walking as well. But I told them it stood up and that it was the deer from earlier I tried to get them to look at, I was adamant about it. But they looked at me like I was stupid as it was definitely a figure of a person with his back to us.
Chris called out at it and there was no reply. He called again and nothing. Then we all shouted out “Are you ok over there?” The reply was subtle but loud enough to be heard “It’s Richard.” We all looked at each other confused because he was supposed to be with the girls? He called out again “It’s Richard” and it definitely sounded like him. Chris told him to “stop screwing around” and we carried on walking. I looked back after no more than 5/10 seconds and he was gone, completely. That was no way enough time to just disappear without seeing him run off.
We got back to the cabin eventually. Lucy and Melissa were in the kitchen making dinner and Richard was chilling with them. Chris told Richard to not leave the girls again, as he was the only one with them and it wasn’t safe to leave them alone due to wild animals. But Richard said he’d been here the whole time with them. Confusing. Chris, Grant, the two James and I looked at each other and laughed, telling him we saw him in the woods with us and you said “It’s Richard” when we shouted at him. But he looked at us with a dead straight face “Seriously guys, I was here the whole time” and the girls confirmed it. We all just shrugged it off; the 3 of them were in on the joke, they got us.
I managed to wake up around 3 am very thirsty and needed a drink and that rank smell was back. The smell probably woke me up, to be honest. I went into the kitchen to get a drink of water and I could hear rustling from outside. It wasn’t like someone was walking but it sounded like someone was crawling around? I turned on the outside light which didn’t do much at all but about 20 metres away at the edge of the forest, I saw another figure. It was very dark outside and I’m sure I was just seeing things but the figure was like yesterday, just there, motionless, a black figure silhouette with its back turned towards me. I was freaking out. I went back to the bedrooms and woke up the boys. They weren’t really 100% awake yet, probably pissed off I’d woken them up but when I showed them what I was looking at they soon came around. James opened the cabin door which was facing where the person was to get a better view and we all huddled around the door entrance to see also. Chris had a huge Mag light torch on him and just shone it at the figure and it didn’t move. Grant shouted out (in a typical British way) “Oi, you!” which just made us laugh but the figure didn’t move.
We were pretty alarmed by this point and we decided to go back inside. As we turned around to go back in we heard “It’s Richard.” We all just looked at each other and we all looked at Richard and chaos ensured. I and the others had no idea what the hell to do. Richard wasn’t, to my knowledge, a guy who could throw his voice, but the voice was his and Richard did not speak. We waited for what seemed like a lifetime for the sun to come up, constantly checking outside, Richard and Chris’s rifles never left their hands. We grabbed the girls and just left as fast as we could.
Sorry I know there isn't much of a spectacular ending but I wanted to at least share what we saw. I hope this makes some kind of sense." DK

MUTILATED DEER & STRANGE HOWLS Mystery Near Black Moshannon State Park, PA Continues

A former Centre County, Pennsylvania teen recalls his unexplained experience while hiking through the woods near his family's home. To this day, the incident remains a mystery.

I received the following account:

"In 1999 I was 16 years old and my family had just moved to a farmhouse in Centre County, Pennsylvania near the Black Moshannon State Park. We had lots of land to roam around on. One summer day I decided to go hiking along some trails in the woods behind the house. Several trails went through the woods and it was easy to get turned around if you didn't pay attention.

I walked for about 45 minutes before coming up to a small clearing with a stone fire pit. The area looked like someone had been camping there recently because empty cans and other trash were lying around but no signs of any actual people. I continued on my way thinking I would just tell my mom and dad later. After a half hour of hiking, I came up to a large clearing with a stream running through it. It looked like no one had walked there in quite some time.

As I got closer to the stream I noticed something odd about the water. It seemed to be moving faster than normal for this time of year and things were floating in it that shouldn't have been there. There were a lot of twigs and leaves but what really caught my eye were two dead deer carcasses lying on the opposite side of the stream. They both looked fresh and I couldn't figure out why they would have died there. So I decided to cross the stream where the water was moving the slowest to see if I could inspect them closer.

As I came upon the first deer I noticed that it had been torn open from the bottom up to its chest cavity. All of the guts were still inside. The second deer was in almost the same condition as the first one except that its head had been removed and was nowhere to be found. I thought this was really strange and confusing. No conscious hunter would do anything like this so I knew something was wrong about this scenario.

I turned around and started retracing my steps back along the stream. My anxiety and awareness were building as I walked back. I started to feel like I was being watched and every so often I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was there. All I could see were trees and the water.

As I approached the large clearing I noticed something that made me stop in my tracks. The deer head that was missing from the second deer was stuck on a tree with a stick protruding from the top of its head. Then I thought that there was no way I could have missed this earlier. I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. But as I looked around it now seemed that someone had just walked through the area. The leaf cover was disturbed.

I began to run back down the trail, just hoping that I would get lost. I did make it back home safely. I ran into the house and told my parents everything that had happened. They looked at each other with expressions I'd never seen from them previously. Then my dad went into the closet and grabbed his rifle. He walked out the back door after saying that he knew the area I was talking about.

He was gone for what seemed like forever as my mom and I sat on the porch anxiously waiting for him to return home. My mom was trying to keep me calm but I could tell that she was nervous as well. I was so relieved when he did come back safely. He said that the head on the tree was gone or at least he couldn't find it. Based on his description and the leaves being all rustled around at the base of it I believe that he did find the correct tree. he said that someone must have come by while I was back home and taken it off. He did believe me.

My dad would periodically go out and check that area from then on. He never found any solid evidence of what had happened. I overheard him telling my mom that the trash I mentioned that was all around the fire pit was cleaned up. He couldn't figure out how people were getting out there. He even sounded really concerned when he said it.

It's been almost 25 years since this happened but every time I think about it it makes my skin crawl. The area around the state park has a history of Bigfoot reports. I also remember hearing strange howling coming from that direction, mostly at night. I had mentioned Bigfoot to my dad once, but he said that he doubted that a Bigfoot had left the deer, let alone placed the head in a tree. We never did figure out what had happened.

My parents still live on the property. Every time that I bring up the subject of the dead deer neither of my parents wants to discuss it. I wonder if anything else has been going on that they have not told me." D

THE 'UFO PEOPLE' ARE EVIL! A Bizarre Account Regarding Alien Abduction & Other Events

This account is a bit convoluted but offers some insight regarding events reported by other experiencers. I'm posting 'as is' so readers can make their own assessment.

I received the following account:

"I lived in a remote area of Traprock, New York property that bordered the Central Hudson power plant property and the Hudson River. It was October 29, 1977. I had been told by my boyfriend never to turn the lights out, outside or inside at night. I was home with my son who was 2 years old. It was a ranch house, and it had heating vents in the ceilings.

I heard a loud rumbling noise, that I had heard before, it was so strong that it shook the vents out of place in the ceiling. I was tired of climbing up and fixing them. It was 7pm, my son was asleep and I turned on the TV and it was all scrambled. I heard the rumbling and humming noises and turned all the lights out. I went to the front bedroom window, opened it, and kneeled down looking out towards the river area. I heard what sounded like a horse whinnying in the distance, and could see beyond the woods flashing lights close to the ground in a circle pattern. I saw closer to the house my boyfriend's dog and cat shaking from fright under a bush, near the house. I looked up in the sky and saw an aerial display of lights, one large main flying light surrounded by smaller ones. It looked like the smaller flying things were protecting the larger ones. The sky was clear, I thought I could just watch all their darting and moving around and who would care. I even pinched myself to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing.

Then a glowing object left the formation and started coming closer to my location. I watched it fly towards the house closer and closer. I was experiencing great fear, but was frozen and could not move, the dome, a red glowing thing hovered outside my window area, to the height of the roof eave. I was staring into a red fireball hovering, and could not move or speak, only think words. I told them that I would not watch anymore. A flash of red light and I was gone.

When I found myself back, maybe 30 minutes or longer, I had a stiff neck, and I was bleeding internally. My boyfriend came home and told me the truth, and he told me that he had seen them and was doing things for them by the Hudson River. They would tell him to collect things and he would bring the things to them. He described them as 4 feet high, with slanted red eyes, they were subhuman and knew everything he was thinking and doing. They gave him large vegetables to eat.

The next morning the local paper had many stories about people calling the police, and reporting sightings, their animals were going crazy. Central Hudson Electric would not allow any investigators on that property. I thought it was over for me but it was not. To make a long story short, I had to go to a doctor I did not know, and he told me that I had a perforated uterus. During the exam, which was a few months later, he told me that I was not pregnant. I was being told that when something happened I was supposed to wrap it up and put it outside in a certain spot. I had no idea why they had told me that until one more month had passed and one day out of nowhere something came out and I did what they told me to do, wrap it up and put it in a certain place.

For the next five months, I ignored them, and then we were told that all the houses were going to be demolished, and my boyfriend was given the job to demolish them. I remember that they told me that 3 of them would come to ask me for assistance sometime later. I know what they did, an experiment to find out if they could impregnate humans. They had me reading all these different books for information. I know that they get you with fear and mind control. They are very intelligent.

It was October of 1987, in Monroe, New York in Orange County. I was listening to the TV about an African-American man who said he was abducted. He was illiterate before the abduction, and when I heard him describe the aliens I went to watch and hear what he was saying. He said their time is not our time, it is a 10-year difference. My boyfriend was visiting and woke me one night afraid and said that he heard flying noises and looked and saw UFOs. I told him okay, don't worry. When he had left for a business trip I was alone with the kids. One night I was woken up at 3 am, October of 1987 and I looked out my two-story front window. Below on the ground in full light were 3 of the same aliens, 4 feet tall, with grey bodies, no segmentation of their bodies, and slanted red eyes. They were calling my name and asking me to come out. I told them no, and went to bed. There was no fear any longer. I never looked for them again and figured that they were gone forever.

In 2003 while shopping, a strange lady approached me and invited me, a stranger, to have tea at her house. She said it was important and I had to come. I will not name her, but I went because I was curious. She told me that she was a psychic and had once read for The Queen of England. She needed to warn me about the 'UFO people.' I had never said a word to her about what happened to me in 1977 and in 1987. She told me that they were evil, and they were not done with me yet. I told her that I was done with them and that they were not done with me. That was in 2003. I knew that day in the store, when this strange lady was following me around for hours, was odd, but she was really a very gifted person. That happened in Naples, Florida. I lived in Port Charlotte, Florida from 2003 to 2009, and I ignored the flying objects I would see.

I saw that news article about Mike Rowley in North Port, Florida. I knew it was all made up. Any person, who is taken against their free will, in fear, with their power of mind control, they have no mouths, who is awake the entire time, not asleep or dreaming, or taking medication, or drinking, does not consider the long term effects to be funny. I read later on about the guy in Middletown NY, he was telling the truth, the Halls, they were telling the truth. It is understandable, unless you experience it for yourself, that you can not believe that it exists. I think the UFO crafts need electricity from the water and power plants, they experiment, they try to breed their people with humans, and perhaps that is what they want to show me.

I do know if they want to make contact they can, but if you show no fear it lessens their power. I can tell if a person has really been affected by the trauma that such an encounter causes. I lived it. I have seen UFOS on Alligator Alley coming from Fort Lauderdale to Naples. The craft flew directly over our car, you could see the bottom and all the lights. My husband saw it, my kids saw it. My kids believed what they saw as unusual, but my husband did not. My son's father, who has passed away, told me back in Newburgh, NY, that the aliens think it is funny how stupid we are, and how the cause and cure for cancer are so simple yet we can not figure it out." H

Reader Describes Her Grateful, Though Confounding, Relationship With Her GUARDIAN ANGEL

An experiencer details her childhood family dynamics and an incident where she was saved by her Guardian Angel while tumbling down a narrow staircase.

The following account was forwarded by a reader:

"As soon as the hands gently set me on the hallway's cold tile floor, the bubble is broken, and sound returns. I am flying. My mother has lost her grasp on me and I am flying backwards down the long narrow staircase. The wretched pink snowsuit is now twisted around me and my mother is frozen with horror at the top of the stairs. She is screaming but I don’t hear her. I don’t hear anything. I am enveloped in a bubble of softness and comfort and I’m airborne. I don’t feel the smash of stair treads breaking my tiny bones. I don’t feel my skull crack on a series of balusters all the way down. I don’t feel my neck break and I don’t feel myself die in a crumpled pink heap at the bottom of the staircase. All I feel are the strong hands supporting me in a cushioned envelope while I travel in a slow-motion glide–down, down, down.

As soon as the hands gently set me on the hallway's cold tile floor, the bubble is broken, and sound returns. I am completely unhurt and not frightened. From my perspective, the whole thing has been a gleeful ride. Like the slide at the park. I don’t see the owner of the hands but the sense of loving presence and the physical pressure of the individual fingers and upturned palms will brand my body with memory for the rest of my life.

Minutes before, red-faced and angry, I was wrestling against the dreaded snowsuit. Anyone who’s ever tried to attire a tantruming two-year-old in one knows that it’s like trying to get an octopus into a straight jacket. That my mother chose the top of the hallway stairs in the dark hallway of the ancient Brooklyn brownstone to do this, puzzles me still. In her defense, I am choosing to believe that she was out of her mind with grief. Only two or three weeks before, my eighteen-year-old sister died of an undiagnosed heart defect. A fact that will begin another downward descent for my family. One that is unequivocal.

I never knew my sister, my parent's firstborn, but the effect of her tragic death will profoundly affect me. Already sixteen years old when I was born, she was two years older than our brother and four years older than our disabled sister. Somewhere in the years between myself and the next youngest, my mother also gave birth to a full-term stillborn daughter. Some families seem to cope with grief and get to a place of healing. Mine didn’t.

In the days before it was “okay” to talk about your feelings, the only option was to cut them off, ignore and deny them. Of course grief and anger of this magnitude won’t be denied, not really. It just bleeds out in all kinds of toxic and complex ways. In my family, the usual and customary way began with a disagreement. Somebody said something or did something or didn’t do something. Starting off small, it would become a screaming/slamming door/throwing things match followed by days of cold silence.

My sister’s death naturally had a profound effect on my siblings. My brother began acting out shortly after our sister’s death and found himself in juvenile detention for two years. He then escaped completely by marrying young. My disabled sister had lost her biggest champion and mentor. Emotionally challenged already, she was often both the subject of and initiator of much of the conflict. My mother’s coping method was to become an indomitable whirlwind of activity, anger, and anxiety. Even the smallest thing became a matter of urgency to her and I swear you could hear her crackle with energy.

My father who had begun a series of heart attacks in his thirties became her opposite – sullen and morose. He had to retire early with strict instructions not to exert himself. His life became a series of journeys between the couch, the kitchen, and the bed. Unlike my mother’s, his brand of anger was of the slow-burn variety – exploding suddenly and without warning. His broken heart would kill him just seven years after his daughter.

A classic “lost child,” I learned how to dodge bullets and disappear at will. Drawing and reading upstairs in my room became my refuge as the war raged on beneath me. I often note that I was born just in time to sweep up and turn off the lights in my family. By the time I came into the picture, the family was well into the process of annihilation. I often wonder what would have happened if I had died or sustained massive brain damage on that wintry day in Brooklyn. How much worse would it have gotten for them? How much worse could it have gotten? It seems uncannily fortuitous that such a mercy would be bestowed at such a time of tremendous stress.

Most people don’t have any memories at all of their two-year-old self. I’m sure I wouldn’t either except for the indelible memory of those hands. I am enveloped in a bubble of softness and comfort and I’m airborne. I was too young to correct my mother when she’d retell the story of how the miraculous pink snowsuit saved my life. I couldn’t understand why she’d be lying. Didn’t she know about the hands?

It took a few years for me to recognize the fact that invisible hands are not something experienced in the normal course of events. Nor are they accepted as even possible. Like the lifetime of so-called paranormal incidents ahead of me, I kept it to myself. Was it an angel? A spirit guide? Was it the spirit of my recently deceased sister? Was it some aspect of my higher self? Is there a force in the universe that decides when one more death would be too much? If so, how do you account for the staggering succession of children lost to single families in generations past – before there were inoculations against things like Diphtheria and Polio?

To say I am grateful for that near miss would be to simplify it. While I am grateful, of course, I am also confounded. Of course, I didn’t know it then but it was just the beginning of a lifetime’s series of things that would both intrigue and bewilder me. Angels appear to transcend all cultures, races, and systems. They are a part of human history and civilization, sometimes at the forefront, other times in the shadows, but they are always there. They don’t belong to any one particular religion, although many modern people try to associate them with Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. PALE, ODDLY DRESSED BLONDE BOY in the Yard

An eyewitness recalls her encounters with a pale, blonde boy dressed in odd clothing while living in their grandmother's old house. They later realized that the boy was a spirit manifestation.

The following account was forwarded to me by my friends Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:

"I thought I would send you a story about my childhood that I actually forgot until I and my mom were talking one day.

After my grandmother on my father’s side passed we moved into her house a couple months after her passing. It was a great house. We lived there till my parents divorced after about seven years of living there. A couple months ago I and my mom were talking in the car and we just happened to get on the topic of our old house. I asked her if she ever had any weird things happen in the house. She talked about lights flickering, cold spots, and things like that. But the big thing was the kid I started making friends with days after we moved there. I completely forgot about him till my mom brought it back up that day.

I remember him being dressed in a bright white long-sleeve shirt and white pants. I never remember him wearing shoes. But he was as pale white as possible and his hair was really the only color he had on him. He had blonde hair but an almost white color blonde. We played outside almost every day. I’d ask him to come inside all the time to play with my toys but he would always say he couldn’t or he’s not allowed. I remember my mom bringing me drinks all the time and being so mad at her for not bringing him one as well. I would get so mad that they would ignore him and not talk to him at all. He really never did anything from what I remember and I would just run around the yard and talk and laugh.

Then just one day he just stopped showing up and I just forgot about him till my mom brought it up a couple months ago. Now that I’m older I know that he was very odd looking and nobody dresses like that. But then my mom told me something else.

Before I was born or really even thought of, my cousins from North Carolina would come in and visit and go to my grandmother's house. My oldest cousin would ask my mom all the time who’s that boy in the yard and would describe him to a tee. A pale white blonde boy who dressed in white would play with him anytime he came down. So when we moved in I asked basically the same question my cousin asked years before she came to accept there was a ghost in the yard." D

Possible TREE-KNOCKING BIGFOOT Encounter in Warren County, Iowa

A Warren County, Iowa resident is walking his dog along a steep-banked creek when he hears tree-whacking sounds. He answers back knocking his walking stick on a tree. He gets a response.

I received the following account:

"I was walking in a steep creek with my dog looking for arrowheads. This was in south-central Iowa (Warren County). This is the type of creek where the banks are so tall and steep it is difficult to get in and out of, and once you are in there your vision is limited on the sides because you cannot see over the banks. It's some pretty remote country and privately owned.

After walking for a while I hear what sounds like someone chopping a tree down with an axe (tree knocking sounds). I remember thinking clearly that it made zero sense because where the sounds were coming from was in a very isolated and deep part of the woods and there was no reason for anyone to be back there chopping down a tree. If someone needed wood thousands of other trees were more accessible and no one used axes anymore. This is hardwood country, chainsaws are the norm.

I ignored it and kept walking down the creek bed. Then after a few minutes, I heard it again. Still didn't think much of it but I took my walking stick and whacked it against a tree 5 times in response to the tree knocks I heard coming from up the hillside. Mostly just to mess with whoever was up there.

It wasn't long before there were another 5 tree knocks in response to me, but this time much closer. I started to get a little nervous but wasn't going to let my imagination get the best of me. I have watched too many Bigfoot shows and know they are said to do tree knocks as a form of communication. I kept going but was much more alert and had this eerie feeling starting to sink in like I was being watched.

Out of nowhere my dog, who normally stays pretty close to me, put his nose into the air and then took off in a mad dash in the general direction the knocks had been coming from. He scrambled up the bank like a mountain goat and was gone, chasing whatever was up there. Not sure how long, maybe 10-15 seconds my dog (who isn't afraid of much) came tearing back down the bank with his tail tucked between his legs and up and out the other side of the creek in an attempt to put as much distance between himself and whatever he encountered. That was all it took for me. I clawed my way out of the creek in the same direction my dog was retreating and probably set a new land speed record for the 400-meter forest dash.

I never did see anything, but I didn't turn around either. I didn't want to see or waste time looking behind me once I was out of the creek and on level ground. Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up to think about it." - F

RIVER MONSTER at New Madrid, Missouri

The following account was found in the Nebraska Advertiser (Brownsville, Nebraska) on October 4, 1877:

THE RIVER REPTILE

A Boat Load of People Upset by the Gigantic Monster

Special to the Globe-Democrat

New Madrid (Missouri) - September 18. The river monster which has been seen at so many different points above here creating great consternation and devouring horses and cattle that swim the river, has undoubtedly reached this neighborhood, and there is considerable excitement over its arrival.

This morning, about 8 o'clock, while the ferry-boat, which contained two wagons and three horsemen, was crossing to the eastern shore, and while in the middle of the river; there was a violent shaking of the boat, the movement being so sudden, that one man who was seated on the gunwale was thrown into the water but, grasping the side of the boat, was drawn in with no further damage than a thorough drenching:

The first shake was tremendous, like the motion of an earthquake, but the second lifted the boat clear from the water and almost capsized it, the horses retaining a standing position with the utmost difficulty. The water was agitated as if by a whirlpool; the waves breaking up two feet high and washing clear across the boat from bow to stern. Almost at the same instant the occupants saw, forty feet away, an immense object cutting through the water with irresistible force. This was undoubtedly the pelican-beaked head of the enormous monster, the violent rocking of the boat being caused by the motion of his tail. The leviathan threw a stream of water ten feet high, making a noise that was plainly heard on shore. After this the monster disappeared beneath the water.

This is the account given by those in the boat. Though almost scared out of their wits, they managed to row to shore, returning to this side. When the story was related, it created a great sensation among the inhabitants of the village, and fifty or a hundred men went down the river to catch, if possible, a sight of the gigantic reptile. There is considerable excitement on the subject, and it is probable an expedition will be organized here to watch the river and kill the monster. Besides the ferrymen, there were five persons on the boat, as follows:

W. Ferris and wife, George Smith, B. W. Williams and Henry Hoffmeyer. The latter is traveling agent for a well-known St. Louis firm, and the others are people well-known here for their veracity.

As you may know, this general area of Missouri, Tennessee, and the Mississippi River has a history of earthquakes (New Madrid Seismic Zone) which has changed the course of the river throughout history. In fact, on some occasions, the ground has risen to the point where the river flowed backward.

The Muskogee people thought the phenomenon was a river god, the Tie Snake, writhing under the ground. The Tie Snake was believed to be an antlered river monster who lurked beneath the water and straddled the divide between the Upper and Lower Worlds...between sky and river, and order and chaos.

There have been supposed 'monsters' seen in the Mississippi for centuries. This particular beast was most likely a large paddlefish, huge catfish, or possibly a gigantic alligator that moved upriver. Bull sharks have also been known to enter the river from the Gulf of Mexico and have been seen as far north as Illinois.

Bizarre anomaly was recorded in the Cathedral of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico:

It is also known to fulfill miracles can indeed see the glass case with letters and offerings that they leave people waiting for a miracle of the little martyr. it off a few weeks a person to burn the body with his cell phone could capture the small opening his eyes, even if the person claims not to have seen it at the time recorded makes was until after he taught his family the video realized that the corpse opened her eyes clearly before the camera."

Bizarre ALIEN-LIKE SOUNDS Emanate From Milan, Italy Hotel Room Wall

A group of young women are in Milan, Italy, sharing a hotel room. During the 3-night stay, late at night, bizarre alien-like sounds are heard emanating from the wall.

I received the following account:

“Hello, sir. In 2017, I was studying abroad in Italy for a little over two weeks with a few classmates and our professor. We were on the last few days of the trip, and we were staying in Milan at a hotel called the Hotel del Sole. There were 9 of us total, and we were all spread out in 4 rooms throughout the little hotel. It was a nice hotel, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I had no reason to feel creeped out at all, until that first night.

The two other girls, let’s call them Addy and Melanie, and I were sharing room 45. I didn’t know them that well, but we got along fine. We’d headed to bed a little after 11, but I stayed up on my phone for an hour or so. When I finally got sleepy, I got up and plugged my phone in to charge before returning to bed.

At around 1:00 AM, something very strange happened. I felt this vibration go through me, and the sound that came with it sounded like it was coming from the walls. It was loud and undulating, changing in volume, pulsing almost. The closest thing I’ve found to accurately describe what it sounded like is the beginning of the song “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse (without the horses and the hoof beats). That weird alien instrumental at the beginning? I swear, that’s what I heard at 1 am that night. I heard Melanie, who I was sharing the bed with, whisper, “What is that?” “I don’t know,” I whispered back. Melanie and I didn’t say anything else. Addy was still asleep in a cot beside the bed. If my phone hadn’t been across the room, I would’ve grabbed it and recorded the sound. But I couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed, I couldn’t even move, I was so freaked out. After about 2 minutes, the sound stopped, and eventually, I fell asleep.

It re-occurred the next two nights we stayed at the hotel, anywhere between midnight and 3 am. Melanie asked the rest of the group if they’d heard anything in their rooms that first night, but no one had. It was just room 45. I’ll never know what that sound was. I wish I would’ve recorded it, but I’ll never forget it. What a way to end a trip to Italy, right?” K

Family Recalls SHAPESHIFTING NAHUAL Incident in Chiapas State, Mexico

A Mexican resident recalls an account that they heard about a Nahual, a supposed Mesoamerican shapeshifter whose nexus and existence are similar to Skinwalker manifestations.

I received the following account:

"My mom shared a strange and creepy experience she and her siblings and parents witnessed when she was younger at around 6 years of age. My mom is a very elegant, classy, prim, and proper woman who would not be the type of person to lie about this just to scare someone. Also, my aunts and uncles have verified this story individually.

My grandparents, mother, aunts, and uncles temporarily lived in a small village/town in the Chiapas State of Mexico with a population of about 1,000 people scattered throughout the hilly landscape. They lived at the bottom of one of the larger hills (cerro) which could take a couple of hours to hike to the very top. My grandparents were relatively poor, my grandfather making just enough to provide for their necessities by working at a sugar cane field, yet they lived in one of the nicer homes because of its proximity to the hill and an alleged witch house at the top of that hill. Locals stayed away from the house and rent was cheapest there out of all the other much simpler homes available.

My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and mom had some paranormal experiences in that home. Most of these were attributed to the witch in typical Mexican folklore fashion. The skinwalker they witnessed, however, was what made them leave.

My mom says that one day she was inside at the entrance of the home with the door wide open playing with some toys. My aunts and uncles were in the same room behind her also playing and roughhousing while my grandfather was relaxing on a rocking chair in that room. She happened to look up right as a medium-sized black dog was walking along the road in front of the home. What spooked her was that this dog had two human breasts hanging from its chest that were connected to its skin as though it were a part of its body. She says the breasts were hairless which allowed her to see that they were indeed human breasts and not some sort of tumor/growth on the dog.

My mom says the dog instantly gave her very bad feelings and she started to cry. This caused the dog to stop in its tracks and look at my mom. My grandfather got up and headed towards the door, as did my aunts and uncles, to see what was happening. He instantly recognized what the creature was and pulled out a small revolver he always carried with him due to the long treks he made on foot to his job. He aimed the revolver and tried pulling the trigger but the gun kept jamming and would not fire. He tried it multiple times, each time checking and making sure the gun was in proper working order, but it simply would not fire. All the while the dog was just standing there watching. The dog eventually turned and started running down the road and into some overgrowth along the side of the road. After it disappeared from view my grandfather tried shooting his gun and it fired without a hitch. Although they were very limited financially, they moved out within a week after the encounter.

I wanted to include every detail that my family members provided me with to create the best possible picture of what happened. Unfortunately, both of my grandparents passed when I was really young so I cannot ask them about this event. I've never heard of a skinwalker partially changing/turning and found this quite interesting.

The family believed it was the witch who lived on top of the hill who apparently was also a skinwalker (nahual)." DL
