WINGED HUMAN-SHAPED FIGURE Seen Flying Near Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado

A couple were lying in their backyard at night stargazing. They observed, what they believed was, a human-shaped figure with wings flying near Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado.

I received the following account:

"I was referred to you by a friend. I've been looking for answers and thought that I'd ask you. This was around September or October of 2017. My fiance and I loved sitting in our backyard and enjoying the scenery. We live near Cheyenne Mountain in El Paso County, Colorado. We had seen some weird unexplainable stuff on the top of the mountain. Once we were watching what we thought was a hiker before he ran towards the edge of a cliff and seemingly flew off the edge. This kind of stuff was the other half of why we loved sitting in our backyard and just watching the mountain and observing the sky.

Back to the story. With all the strangeness, this by far was the most unexpected and unexplainable. One night, around 10pm-12am we were up late and felt like lying out back and stargazing. We dragged the dog's bed outside and threw a few blankets on top so we could lay on it. It was always windy, we lived at the base of a mountain so this was a part of life. We also had a flood wash behind our house (with a little running trail) that made our yard even more windy. As we watched the clouds pass under the stars, something large and humanoid glided over us.

It looked like a man with wings, it did not flap, just glided over silently, I would say about 3000 feet up (I am estimating this based on the height of the mountain) I am not sure but it looked like it was at about the height of the mountain peak, below the clouds, gliding above our house, south, parallel to the mountain ridge. It was silhouetted against the clouds, the city lights barely illuminated it but I could clearly make out the shape of a man with wings.

My original thought was a hang glider, but it was super late at night and as far as I know, you don't just jump off of random mountains to do this, there are designated flying zones and you have to log quite a bit of flight hours to be able to fly alone.

I also thought it was a vampire or gargoyle, but again I have not heard any legends or stories from this area.

I have done a bit of research and my new thought is that someone may have released a flying fox? I looked up videos of them flying and they seem smaller than what I saw, but maybe someone had one that got too big and they let it loose. I have had friends that have exotic pet birds, cats, or monkeys so I could see this happening. They seem like they need to flap a lot though, but I guess if it were higher up it would not need to so much. It had such a smooth, straight flight path it gave me doubts. This still seems like the most reasonable explanation. But, then again, with the sightings in Chicago and other places, I wonder if this winged humanoid phenomenon may be real." M

MYSTERIOUS CREATURE Concerns Greendale, Wisconsin Resident

A Wisconsin woman lets her dogs out at night but is alarmed when the dogs refuse to go past the patio. She notices a terrible odor. The next day she finds 3 dead squirrels lined up in the woods.

I received the following account:

"Hello. I found one of your posts on the Strange Wisconsin Facebook group. This is not a personal experience of mine. However, a close friend’s mother, who lives near Greendale, Wisconsin, related this story to me.

She let her two dogs out into the backyard. Those familiar with the area know that Greendale is just a bit outside of Milwaukee. Her backyard is connected to a wooded area, so she’s used to random wildlife. Deer come by frequently, and bears have been known to wander around from time to time, not to mention the countless smaller woodland creatures. This being said, she had a fairly disconcerting situation unfold.

One night, she let her two dogs out before bed, a nightly occurrence, and she stayed with them as she often did. She regularly would sit on her patio until midnight or later, but not so anymore. As I said, she’s used to seeing occasional wildlife, as are the dogs.

This particular night, she let the dogs out, and they started to make for the yard, however, they stopped just past the patio and stared into the darkness of the trees. Unwilling to move further, she left her back door to try and coax them to hurry up and do their “business." As she approached the edge of her patio she noticed a particularly rancid odor. She said that it smelled like mothballs, rotting meat, and dead fish.

Shortly thereafter she heard a loud “grunt” and the rustling of foliage. She was very clear that the odor was no animal she had smelled before, and the grunt did not sound like that of a bear, even though one had been spotted in another area not super far from her place. Two, in fact, had been spotted. One had wandered onto the interstate and been struck by a truck. It was enough to shake her, and she didn’t spook easily.

Now, that would have been weird enough for her. However, the next day she let her dogs out and one had traveled a bit further into the foliage, before she called her back, heading in the same direction as they had been staring the night before. She called her back and she came. But it was off for her to have traveled that deep in.

The next day, during daylight, she decided to trek in a bit and see if she could find any bear signs or anything like that. She didn’t. What she did find was three squirrels, dead, lined up. Not end to end, but one then the next like lined paper, and spaced out evenly. The squirrels weren’t bloody, nor mutilated as one would expect from a predator attacking and snacking. Just dead, and laid out evenly.

I don't what animal would do this, but it didn’t sound like anything I had heard of a “normal” animal doing. Any insight into this weird happening?" W

Two Friends Encounter an UNKNOWN CANINE CREATURE in Franklin County, Massachusetts

The witness is helping his friend's family move into a home in Franklin County, Massachusetts. Later, they take a break, walk into the woods, and encounter an unknown beast.

I received the following account:

"I currently live in Massachusetts. I live near Boston but was going on a road trip with my friend and his family out to their new place in the more remote parts of the state, Franklin County. My friend's name is Mike. We're both 17 years old. We got to their house and I was planning on staying for about a week to help them get settled in and to see the surrounding area. At the edge of their property they have these woods that start off with just a few trees here and there but after a five-minute walk get really damn think.

On the third day of my being there, Mike's mom said she wanted to give me and Mike a day off so we could do whatever we wanted. At first, we wandered around the property and hung around the house, and then we chose to walk to the closest town (this takes 30 minutes.) The town is small and there isn't much to do but I'm happy just to be back in a place like I lived for most of my life, small and in the middle of nowhere. We talked to the owner of an ice cream shop who told us a bit of history about the town, nothing important or exciting. After that, we started back to Mike's house.

We got back around noon and I suggested we go for a walk in the woods. Mike isn't the outdoorsy type, said no but after a couple of minutes of me nagging him to go he agreed. Even though I go out all the time, I camp and walk trails. I always have my pocketknife with me when I go out like this so I ran into the house to get it.

We started into the woods leaving a really obvious trail (like I said the woods are very thick.) At first, Mike spends his time grumbling things like "There are too many bugs" and "It's too damn warm out to be doing thins." Keep in mind, that last month was October. After a while, he started to enjoy being outside and actually said he liked it and wanted to go farther into the woods. By now it was about four thirty and it was starting to get dark but I didn't really care all that much. We kept going and dark fell rapidly to the point where I couldn't see much.

We had started on our way back but at some point, we got separated. I noticed this and turned the flashlight app on my phone, spinning around to see if I could see Mike. I couldn't.

"Mike?" I called out. "Can you hear me, if you can say something!"

I waited and a few moments later off to my right I heard a feeble stammer "Joe." (Joe is my name.) It sounded just like Mike and I quickly turned in the direction of the noise and slowly walked toward it. I didn't see anything so I moved my light horizontally to try and spot anything.

I called out again "Mike?" and got "Joe." again, it was much stronger and loader this time. I walked forward with more confidence but stopped dead in my tracks as I heard something big moving very quickly through the push from right behind me.

I whipped around frantically and came face to face with Mike. At first, I was stunned, I mean I had heard him from the opposite direction. Up to this point in my life, I had only encountered a skinwalker with another person once and we were together when it happened so this situation was new to me.

"WTF! Why did you walk behind to get me? Why didn't you come from the same direction as your fucking voice?" I practically yelled at him overcome by anger at being tricked like that.

"What are you talking about? You were the one changing directions!" Mike yelled back.

"What?" I said quietly. I shined my light on him I could see he was obviously shaken.

"I heard you call my name and I started walking to you. You sounded scared or hurt at first but after a few minutes, you started saying my name normally. Then you stopped answering my calls and I heard you from behind me and I saw your light so I started running at you." He explained.

There was the faint noise of movement behind me and I turned around to see a horrible sight not ten feet from me. Its head looked like a wolf, like the kind you would see at the zoo. It was tall maybe six and a half feet tall. Its head, shoulders, arms, and chest were all covered in thick gray fur. Its legs and most of its stomach held a much thinner pelt of the same fur. The eyes were reddish.

Both Mike and I saw this creature and ran faster than I thought we could, for whatever reason the creature didn't give chase and we made it out of the forest without incident.

Mike told his family, who didn't believe him. I didn't tell mine because I knew that they wouldn't believe me. Mike has not gone back into the woods and has not seen the beast again.

The question I have is, was this a werewolf, skinwalker, or what?" H

VIDEO: BIGFOOT Recorded Running Up Steep Snow-Swept Utah Mountain

A Bigfoot is recorded ascending a steep snow-covered mountain in the Wasatch Range in Utah. The video is stabilized and zoomed into the creature and the trackway.

Video commentary:

We were sent the following footage by a person who goes by John. It was filmed on one of the mountain peaks along the Wasatch Mountain Range in Utah. The guys that filmed it were down in the valley at 4200 feet elevation and zoomed in on a peak to film this creature running horizontally, then vertically up the steep snow-swept mountainside using a spotting telescope and holding the lens of the camera up to the viewfinder.

Included is another clip that is stabilized. A zoomed-in version of the creature is also included, as well as the trackway that was recorded by a helicopter.

Security Cam Image - GHOST, NIGHTWALKER, ETC? - Fort Collins, Colorado (PHOTOS)

The following image popped up on my feed today. Apparently, the image was captured 10 months ago on a resident's home security camera in Fort Collins, Colorado. So, what is it?

Ghost, Nightwalker, etc?

There may also be another anomaly captured on the left of the image, but it's hard to tell.

The resident forwarded the image without much commentary other than he had seen something similar several weeks before this camera image. That sighting was also at night. The resident believes that it may be a manifesting spirit, though he gave no reason for his conclusion.

During an interview several years ago, I was asked for my opinion of the Jersey Devil and if I had received sighting reports related to the beast. Most of the reports I received were confidential, and I have received reports of other phenomena in the Pine Barrens of southeast New Jersey.

Local Cryptid Legend 'FOX MONKEY' Encountered & Reported in Upstate New York

A group of friends are driving near Cape Vincent, New York when they watch a cryptid creature, known locally as the 'Fox Monkey,' cross the road, and then stand on 2 legs!

The following account was forwarded to me:

"I lived and graduated from a very small town in upstate New York in a region known as the “Thousand Islands.” Anyway, we have far more open land or woods than people, if you look across the St. Lawrence River you can see Canada.

Now that you know the setting, when I moved there during my junior year of high school, I quickly learned the summer party spot was Wilson’s Bay Beach in Cape Vincent. With that beach came a lady who collected all our beer cans and eventually bought a truck with all the money she got from our cans over the years and the urban legend of what they called “Fox Monkey.” It was an animal that walked like a monkey but looked like a fox and had been seen/heard at the beach and its surrounding areas. I, as any sane person would be, was extremely skeptical when my loser high school boyfriend told me of this creature. He claimed to have heard weird things out at the beach at night and there was a homeless man out there for a short while who also said he heard it and saw some weird things out there at night.

Fast forward a few years and I’m in my early 20s driving around with my two best friends showing some guys we met from out of town around the area. This ride led us to the beach at night and then the surrounding area. We were all laughing and talking while on a back road driving away from the beach. All of a sudden we see that infamous glint of an animal's eyes on the side of the road getting ready to cross. If you live in a rural area you know how your automatic reaction is, slow down because you probably have at least one dent from a rogue deer on your car. I stopped to let it pass and something roughly the size of a small coyote that looked like a dog and wolf mix with dark and longer thick fur. We didn’t even think anything of it until it got to the side of the road and stopped for a second then stood up and walked away on two legs like a human.

None of us said anything for a minute and I said, "Uhhh, did anyone else see that?" All 4 of the other passengers looked shocked and all replied something along the lines of “Yeah, WTF was that?” Me and my two best friends and I talk about this to this day and we all recall it the same way, we call it 'fox monkey' because that’s the name we heard and the only way we could semi-accurately refer to it. We still have no idea what it was but all three of us agree it was one of the scarier and most disturbing experiences of our lives. The animal never threatened us but left all of us extremely frightened." W

BEARDED MAN APPEARS, THEN VANISHES, in Michigan Cemetery (PHOTOS)

A couple is exploring an old cemetery in Sterling Heights, Michigan when an older bearded man suddenly appears, talks to them, then quickly disappears. The couple is stunned.

The following account was forwarded to me by my friends Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:

"Hello, my name is Josh and I live in Michigan. I have never had an experience with ghosts, aliens, or cryptids but I love hearing about it. I recently asked around my family and friends if they have any stories and to my surprise my Mom told me about this small event that happened to her and my Dad.

They stopped at a little cemetery on 16 Mile Road in Sterling Heights, Michigan called Millar Cemetery. It apparently had a cute white picket fence and a few trees. But the acres surrounding it were a low-cut field, it stood alone. It was the late 1970s and my Mom and Dad stopped to look around and investigate it. She loves old cemeteries.

As my Dad and Mom were looking around at the broken and knocked over headstones a man appeared. He was an older gentleman with a medium beard and mustache and one of those flat hats on. He made a comment to them that some kids had knocked over those headstones. They continued to look down at the broken pieces and then went to ask him a question, but he had disappeared.

She said this was strange because they stood between him and the road and again there was only an open field around the graveyard. But he was nowhere in sight.

"He could not have walked away from us so quickly!" She said it was so eerie to her that she still remembers it to this day.

I asked my Dad about this and he told me the same details. My parents haven't talked to each other for a while so I feel that there is a less likely chance that they are making the story up.

HUGE PITCH-BLACK, FELINE-LIKE CREATURE Reported in Prince Edward Island, Canada

Five siblings were vacationing in Prince Edward Island last summer. While walking along a rural road they observed a huge pitch-black feline-like creature crossing the road about 100 metres from them.

I received the following account:

"Last year, my family stayed in Prince Edward Island for the summer as we had done every year for my whole life. I was 17 years old and my four siblings were from one to seven years younger than I.

One sunny day all five of us decided to take a walk down one of the roads by our farmhouse because we had nothing else to do. Honestly, we never really walked down that particular road because there was a dog in one of the yards that did not sound nice so we never wanted to bother him but today was different for some reason.
Anyway, on that day we were walking and chatting as people do and about 20 minutes into the walk we saw it. We all stopped dead in our tracks because about 100 metres or so up the road, we had seen this pitch-black large cat-like creature crawling across the road and going into a large bush. I believe I should note that in our area there are no woods and barely any shrubbery, it’s all open potato fields for as far as your eye can see.
So this thing, whatever it may be, came from an open field and went into the bush on the side of the road that was the only hiding place/shelter for quite a ways. My next younger brother, having nerves of steel, walked down to the bush and investigated as soon as we encountered the sighting. There were no footprints or anything obvious. He did not crawl in fear that there might be a den or the like in the bush. He was glad he decided this because we told him later that we all had been watching from afar the whole time and we did not see it leave.
The only way I have been able to describe whatever it was is a very large, pitch-black feline-like creature that was crouched as if it was weary of being in the open or on the hunt. At first, we said that it might have been a coyote, they grow big up there. But we ruled that out because it moved like a cat, not a dog. The only other thing we could think of was a panther but they don’t live there. It also took up half the width of the road while crossing. The tail was almost half the size of the body.
So now we’ve all agreed to just claim it was “some weird thing we saw.” We just call it 'The Beast.' My one other brother now believes that only one of us saw a shadow or something and somehow convinced the others it was a monster. But I remember it distinctly how we all said “What was that?” and became very frightened.
I am aware of the big cat sightings in the UK after 1976 when wild animals were outlawed as pets. Many people simply let them loose in the wild to fend for themselves. Since that time, it has become apparent that some survived and managed to breed. I wonder if that is the case here?
Any ideas if it could have been some sort of cryptid, or something else entirely?" J

Harrowing, Unexplained Drive on BROWN MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA

A group of friends and family were traveling up Brown Mountain, NC to observe the lights. After a bumpy drive, an unexplained series of events occurred on the way down the mountain.

I received the following account:

"This happened in 1972 when I was 14 years old. My father decided to drive up a logging road that led up to Brown Mountain in North Carolina. We had a 1969 Ford van with four rows of seats. In this van were my father at the wheel, my mother, us five kids aged between about 8 and 15, and I think my father's friend and his wife. Long van, with lots of seats, all full.

I think my father must have wanted to see the lights at night (the famous Brown Mountain Lights), because, you know, they appear at night. This is maybe not directly related, but then again maybe it was. My father had met an old fellow named Ralph. I was there; it was at some local store that carried Mr. Ra[lph's pamphlets about getting to the top of Brown Mountain and being taken into a crystal chamber by the UFO people there. I think they promised to take Mr. Ralph and his wife with them when things got very strange.

So we all bounced up a dirt road after sundown on a mountain probably sixty miles from home. The road just kept switching back and getting narrower, as the night went completely dark. All you could see was what the headlights lit, and that was only twenty yards at most. I vaguely recall that I may have been worried, during the drive up, that the saucer people might not like us as much as they liked Mr. Ralph.

After what I honestly believe was well over an hour, and maybe closer to two, the road was so narrow, steep, and rutted that my father was struggling to keep the van going farther, and there seemed to be no place wide enough to turn around. In those days my father had a "cheater knob" aka suicide knob on the van's steering wheel. These are legal, but do yourself a favor and don't get one unless you need it.

This knob is important to the story because we ran into a ditch running across the road. Good thing we were only going ten miles an hour. It was still a spine rattler, and my father's hand cracked the windshield while holding the broken-off knob.

I don't think his hand was actually broken, but it was out of the game. My father's friend took over, somehow got a loaded van out of a ditch somewhere far up Brown Mountain, found a way to get us turned 180, and drove down off the mountain.

Funny thing, we were back on the main road within 10 minutes. I never understood how we got down off the mountain and back to the main road that quickly, especially after it had taken us over an hour to drive up the mountain. Another strange thing also occurred. We saw hundreds of bright orbs on the drive down the mountain. None of us ever understood what happened that night." R
