HAIRY ARM ENTITY Continuously Frightens Peruvian Family at Home

A Peruvian man contacted me about several unexplained incidents that occurred in his small house while growing up. An unknown being with hairy arms was touching family members at night.
I received the following account:
“This is a bizarre incident that happened to my family. I’m a 50-year-old man from Peru, and when I was young my family (two sisters, mother, and father) used to live in a house in a rural village, next door to my uncle. We all slept in the same room, with separate beds and we didn’t have electricity. Also, there was only one door to the bedroom, and one window which we kept closed at night.
So one night I woke up to the sound of my sister (Sister 1) screaming. She was shouting that someone was in the room and touching her thigh. My dad got up and lit a candle, but there was no one in the room, doors and windows closed. We said she had been dreaming so we went back to sleep.
The following night the same incident again, my sister woke up screaming, saying someone was moving their hand slowly up her thigh. Dad lights the candle, but no one is there.
The following night my other sister (sister 2) sleeps in her bed with sister 1. Sister 2 wakes up screaming that someone is touching her thigh. Dad checks the room with a candle again, but nothing. This is when we all start to get a little concerned, but my parents think my sisters are just playing a very weird joke on them.
The following night my mother sleeps in my sister's bed, and my sisters sleep with my dad. In the middle of the night, my mum wakes up screaming that someone is touching her thigh. Now my parents are super freaked out, but once again there was nothing in the room, all doors and windows closed. My dad asks everyone to leave the house and stay with my uncle next door, and he decides to sleep in my sister's bed in the house alone. This is where things get so strange and unexplained to me. That night we woke up to the sounds of my dad shouting for my uncle to help him. My uncle runs next door, lights a candle, and finds my dad lying on the floor, out of breath, with red marks on his chest and face.
This is my dad's story of what happened. He said he was sleeping when he woke up in the night to a hand touching his thigh, but he didn’t react immediately. He waited and the hand began to move higher and higher up his thigh towards his genitals. As the hand got very close, he grabbed it, and he says he grabbed onto a very hairy arm, too hairy to be human. He held on to the creature as long as he could. He said it was very large and strong, but it scratched him lightly during the struggle and he couldn’t hold on. But the creature didn’t run away or open a door or window, there was just silence after that. I saw the redness on my dad and believed the story entirely. I was the only one to never experience anything.
After this incident, my dad and uncle stayed in the house, but the creature never came back. We all returned to sleeping in that room eventually and never had another issue. Any idea what it could have been? The area is not known for monkeys, certainly not large ones, and I don’t know how a monkey could have entered the room every night and then left with no noise. But that’s the most likely explanation I can think of. There was no way to enter the room except a closed door and closed locked window.” HC

Dine Navajo Woman Recalls Her 'FURRY ONES' Stories

A Dine Navajo resident contacted me with her accounts of the 'Furry Ones' that inhabit the reservation. She includes a personal account and stories told to her by others.

I received the following account from a Dine Navajo woman who lives on the reservation in northwest New Mexico:

"When I was 11 years old my younger brothers, cousins, friends and I were playing with a kite. It was March, so it was still a bit cold. My cousin, who was looking down the road said, "Who's that guy watching us over there?" We all looked and we were like we didn't know who it was, but whatever or whoever it was he was really big. He was taller than our little fence pole which came up to him about mid-chest. The fence pole, we later found out, was about five feet something. He looked kind of hairy. He had no neck his neck. He had really long arms. He watched us and every now and then he'd lean over, then he'd stand back up and watch us some more. We quickly pulled back our kite.

It then started to snow. One of my little brothers said, "I'm gonna go tell Dad." The hairy man then ran into the trees, so it disappeared just in a blink of an eye. Back then we had never heard of Sasquatch or Bigfoot, but we had heard of the Boogeyman, the monster and you know our parents scared us with. It was 1967. That's when there were more sightings. That's when I first heard people calling the creatures the 'Furry Ones.'

One evening my brother was up in a basin area near our home. He was hunting on horseback. At dusk, he started to head home, but he wanted to look at another area before he did so. He rides over this ridge. He said everything happened in a split second. As he came over the ridge he saw the horse's ears perk up and then it stopped moving. A Bigfoot was sitting down there and he was eating something. It looked up at my brother and the look on its face was alarming, like it had seen something terrifying. The Bigfoot got on all fours, leaped four times, and was suddenly gone like it had vanished. The horse was startled and my brother almost fell off. He grabbed the horse's neck and they took off down to the foothills. He said he couldn't stop his horse until they reached home.

This old rancher lived out in the canyon area by the creek. He said that he came home to his trailer late one night. He had an old car sitting along the road to his trailer. He saw something huge duck behind the old car. The rancher starts panicking. Then this huge creature tried to back out but the rancher's headlight picked it up. It was really big but it wasn't fast, but it did get away. The next day he found two of his horses lying dead in the nearby gully. Their necks were all ripped out. Their tail-end areas were also ripped open. Whatever killed them had to have been fast to catch the horses.

My sister lived by the river and a lot of times their horses were being bothered by something. There would be a bad odor outside. One night, while their uncle was watching the kids they said something climbed on the top of the house and it was big. It was walking around and jumping. They got really scared of it. Their uncle later got them together in the middle of the room. The kids were crying. He had his rifle and was aiming at the door. This creature was jumping hard on the roof. Then my sister came home and that thing jumped off the house and took off. When she opened the door they were facing a rifle aimed at them. The kids were hysterical.

That creature would show up several more times and it always got onto the roof and jumped up and down scaring everyone in the house. One day, she called my uncle while the creature was there. He and his friend drove over and saw the creature trying to run away. They chased after it in the truck and shot at it a few times. After that, the creature never returned." C

Men in Black, UFO Sightings, & Missing People Reported in Small Pennsylvania Town

2 possible Men in Black were seen in a small Pennsylvania town previous to UFO sightings and reports of missing people. Were these incidents related?

I received the following account:

“I had a bizarre occurrence happen to me when I was a teen. It was some time I think in the summer of 2002 when my brother and his friend had gotten home one night and they were staying up late, so I wanted to hang out with them. We ended up downstairs in my living room with sleeping bags lying in front of the window which is pretty big and you can see all of the downtown area. Mind you, I live in a small town outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and it's usually dead around 10 pm so I can't really recall the time this happened, but I know it was dark and quiet.

I remember laying there in the sleeping bag in front of our window and I could see all of the downtown area. I looked at my brother and his friend who had just woken up and there was something bizarre happening. A white car and a black car, both identical to each other, were making the rounds around the block in front of my house when we all saw the black one come up to the stop light (there were no other cars) and the light turned green but the car just stayed at the light for some time.

Then these two almost identical men, dressed in black with fedora hats, got out from the back of the car and started walking in front of the car at the light. That's when it got really confusing and unnerving. My best way of describing to someone what I saw was if you were to look at the front of a car with its lights on from about a block away. Then the lights looked like they popped off the front of the car and began to walk. They followed the two men off into the distance before turning out of sight.

Since then I’ve seen things happen that are just too out of the ordinary and I think it's because of that moment in my life. There were several UFO sightings in the area in the following weeks. There were also reports of at least 3 missing people in the local news during the next month. I don't believe that any of them were ever seen. It had opened my eyes a little more to what was possibly out there. I really don't know what happened that night and I would have liked to have snuck out and followed them, but I think we were all terrified and baffled to have witnessed something of that kind."

9-FOOT-TALL BIGFOOT Stands in Front of Car on Oregon Highway

A young girl is in the car with her mother and uncle when a 9-foot-tall reddish-brown Bigfoot walks onto the highway and stops in front of the car, giving everyone a good look.

A reader forwarded the following account:

"I saw Bigfoot up close when I was little. I was 4 years old. My mom was taking my uncle to work in Durkee, Oregon. We were driving on old Highway 30 between Baker City and Durkee, Oregon.

It was 4:30 in the morning when we were passing a 100+-year-old orchard and my mom asked my uncle, "What is that, Tom?" My Uncle Tom said that he didn't know what that thing was. It was big and covered with fur from its head to its toes, except for on its face and its hands. The fur was reddish-brown. It was the biggest thing I've ever seen in my young life.

It stepped over a barbed wire fence that surrounded the orchard. It leaped across the ditch and walked in front of our car. It stops midstep not more than 5 feet in front of our car. It stood at least 9 feet tall and it just stood there staring at us for what seemed like an eternity.

Then suddenly it turned and took off running across the median between the old highway and the new Highway 84. It crossed Highway 84, across the median, and up a hill. It stopped at the top of the hill, turned around, took one last look at us, and then disappeared over the top of the hill." AC

The MIRROR PORTAL: Does Death Open Portals to the Other Side?

A reader relates her experience with the death of her pet where she believes the event opened a portal through a mirror into the other side. She still has lots of questions.

I received the following account from a reader:

"I’ve decided to do a spiritual cleansing and then paint a life-size angel on the mirror. Our last border collie, Bobby, is dying. Until just a couple of days ago, cancer hardly seemed to slow him down at all but now it’s become clear that time is running out. Once discovered, the vet informed us that there were no options and thankfully there was no pain. My husband and I have that discussion. The one where you decide that tomorrow’s the day you’ll take your loyal friend for one last vet visit. It’s a hard day for us. Especially hard because we lost Bobby’s “sister,” Deirdre just a couple of months earlier. What started as confining himself to his bed had become a comatose state by early evening. He is breathing regularly but is now unresponsive.

As the night continues, we know we’ve made the right decision. In my heart, I’m hoping that he will pass quietly in this state without the trauma of the vet’s office. I rise from my sleepless bed throughout the night to check on him but his condition remains the same.

Around four in the morning, I decide to make one last check and to my amazement, I find his bed empty. Looking across the stretch of the living room for him, I find him in a very strange posture. He’s sitting at attention on one of the sofas. A place he’s never sat before – ever. With a look of rapt attention on his face, he is staring wide-eyed across the room at an overly large mirror propped against the wall. I feel as though I’ve intruded on a sacred moment and I wonder if Deirdre has come to get him. He looks fine – better than fine. He looks better than he has for days.

I stand here for a full minute or so and he never looks in my direction. I feel like I shouldn’t be seeing this and I decide not to disturb him. Confused and wondering what tomorrow will bring, I return to my bed where I finally fall into a deep sleep.

In the morning, we discover that he has indeed passed over. The trouble begins almost immediately. One of our two small rescues, Daisy, is suddenly acting out in ways she never has before. Suddenly her head is on a swivel and she has begun to see things in the house that no one else is seeing. It’s as if something unseen is going out of its way to make her crazy. Once she sees this something – she reacts by barking and growling as she follows it across the room and even up and down the walls with her eyes.

This is happening multiple times every day and no amount of reassurance will calm her down. Sometimes she will walk toward the mirror, slunk down, and just stare. It begins to get very unnerving. I begin to notice changes in the house too. I begin to feel a heaviness that hadn’t been there before and I tell myself I’m just creeping myself out. I tell myself that the occasional thumps and bangs I hear coming from upstairs are just the cat but I can’t lose the sense of presence.

I find that I don’t like walking past that mirror. I keep remembering how transfixed Bobby was by it. The mirror is over six feet tall and over four feet wide. It’s too heavy to hang so keep it propped against the wall at the bottom of the staircase that ascends to the rooms upstairs. We bought it new from a furniture store so it has no history other than in this house unless you count the thousands of furniture shoppers who probably passed by it in the store. I am trying to understand why my own dogs if in fact they’re somehow “visiting” from the other side would make me feel so awful – why they would bring this heaviness. Not knowing what to do about it, I tried to put it out of my mind and carry on – until the night that changed everything.

My friend Chris and her dog Max often spend the weekend and have done so for years. Max knows every smell, every nook and cranny, and every sound this house makes just like it’s his own. He’s also one of those Zen dogs who rarely barks or makes a fuss. This night, however, is different.

Suddenly, in the middle of the night, Max explodes into hysterical barking at the staircase that the mirror reflects. He is ballistic and inconsolable. Chris is terrified. She’d never seen him do anything like this before. She says he was staring at the staircase, all the hair on his hackles raised and barking and growing. Needless to say, there is not a whole lot more sleeping this night. Now I know I have to do something. Now I know that my own dog and my own instincts are correct and I have to take action. I can’t move this mirror. That’s out of the question. Cover it? That would make it even cheaper. I wonder how many years of bad luck might result from shattering approximately twenty-four square feet of mirror. I wonder if painting it would work as well as covering it in some enormous black cloth. I wonder a lot of things and feel crazier with each thought.

I contact a few spiritual healers online to learn how to do a “do-it-yourself” housecleaning. Most of them don’t want to give me the time of day. Finally, I got a gracious and detailed email from a well-known figure in the spiritual/paranormal world. I’ve decided to do a spiritual cleansing and then paint a life-size angel on the mirror. I want to paint an image of peace and protection but I’ve decided that if entities are using the mirror to pass in and out of, I don’t want to trap any of them on this side until after the cleansing is complete. I want them to be able to at least squeeze back into the mirror.

Ignoring the fact that this whole thing sounds totally insane, even to me, I apply a coat of gesso to the entire mirror, leaving a small “open” space dead center for the possible spirits to pass through. After completing the cleansing I gesso over this spot too and spend the rest of the day painting my protection angel.

She has kept her post for a couple of years now and things have been quiet. The house immediately felt lighter and more joyful after the cleansing so whether she was even necessary is up for debate but she’s grown on me.

On rare occasions, Daisy, who is now completely blind, still reacts to something as if she’s seeing it but it’s nothing like it used to be. I used to think that the old-fashioned notion of covering the mirrors in a house where someone has died was a lot of folklore and superstition. I no longer think that.

Did Bobby open some kind of portal when he died? Did that portal allow other, darker energies into my home? Does death open a portal to the other side? Once again, I am left with questions." Silver Ravenwolf

MISSING 411: Was the 'FUZZY MAN' Actually 'GLIMMER MAN?'

A boy, who disappears in a California State Park, is later found in good shape after being missing for 2 weeks. The boy says he was taken by the 'Fuzzy Man,' but was later released.
The following account was forwarded to me 3 years ago, and I did post it. But I now believe that it could have been a 'Glimmer Man':
"My friend, who has been with the search & rescue service in northern California for many years, has had a life full of strange encounters and occurrences. I mentioned to her that I was interested in hearing about any experiences she had with people completely disappearing. Her eyes light up, and she leans in close to me and says, 'Wanna hear a real doozy?'
She tells me about how, when she first started, there was a case that got a lot of attention in the media. A family had been out berry picking in an area of the forest very close to the entrance of the park. They had two little boys, both under the age of five, and at some point, during the day, one of them vanished. There's a massive search, and they find nothing. It's another of those cases where it's like the kid was never there in the first place. The dogs just sit down and don't pick up on anything, no trace of the kid is found.
The search goes on for about two months but is eventually called off. Fast forward to six months later. The family comes back to place flowers at a memorial that's been set up there for the kid. They bring their other son. While they're placing the flowers, they lose sight of the kid for about three seconds, and in that period he vanishes into thin air. Now obviously, the parents are beyond devastated. It's awful enough to lose one child, but to lose two is beyond imagining.
The search is huge, one of the largest in state history. About three hundred volunteers are combing every inch of this park, looking for the kid. But again, there's no trace of him. The search goes on for about a week, with people looking miles from the part of the park he vanished from.
And then, almost two weeks later, a volunteer almost fifteen miles from the designated search area radios in that he's found the kid. They assumed that the kid was dead, but the volunteer says he's not only alive, he's in good shape.
My friend's team went out to recover the kid, and when they got there, she couldn’t believe that this was the kid that's been missing. His clothes are clean, there's no dirt on him anywhere, and he doesn't appear traumatized. The volunteer says he found the kid sitting on a log, playing with a little twig bundle that's bound together with some old rope. She asks him where he's been, and who he was with for those two weeks, and the kid tells her that he's been with 'the fuzzy man.'
Now my friend firmly believes in Bigfoot, so she gets all excited and asks what he means by fuzzy. Was he hairy? But the kid says no, he wasn't hairy. He was a 'fuzzy man,' and he describes a blurry man, as 'like when you close your eyes but not all the way closed.' He says the man came out of the trees and took the kid with him deep into the woods. The kid says he slept in a hollow tree, and the fuzzy man gave him berries to eat. My friend asked if the man was mean, if he scared the kid, and the kid said 'No, he wasn't scary. but I didn't like how he didn't have eyes.'
My friend says they get the kid back to headquarters, and a cop takes him into town to talk to him more about what happened. She's friends with the cop who talked to him, and she said the kid described being kept in this tree by the fuzzy man and given berries whenever he was hungry. He was allowed to wander around a very specific clearing, but when he tried to go further, the fuzzy man would 'get mad and yell real loud even though he didn't have a mouth'. When the kid got scared at night, the fuzzy man 'made it get brighter' and gave him the twig bundle.
He said the fuzzy man was going to keep him, but he had to let him go because the kid wasn't 'the right kind.' He either can't or won't elaborate more on that. The cops are just sort of left scratching their heads, and the search for his brother is renewed with no results. The kid has no idea where his brother might be, and they never find him." SR

ALLIGATORS ATTACK STEAMER Near Pilatka, Florida!

By Jon Wyatt - I was trawling the Trove Digitalised Newspapers and came upon this astonishing story from Florida. The yarn was widely published in Australian newspapers and elsewhere in 1871.

The Ocklawaka River, the scene of the battles, is a narrow waterway that meanders northward for 74 miles (115 kms) before emptying into the St Johns River near the city of Pilatka. Small paddle steamers were used to operate on the waterway until the 1920s.

The report of alligators attacking a steamboat is possible but the “huge serpent” part seems a bit far-fetched to me. The story does not identify the steamer, the captain, or any of the passengers and crew.

Is it a tall tale or true? I'll leave it up to you.

BIGFOOT! 'Oh Yeah, They're Out There!'

Early accounts describe encounters with Bigfoot at a logging camp in the wilderness of northern California.

“I've seen and heard Bigfoot. I'm sure there was more than one too. They were howling one night. My grandpa was a hunter and fishing guide at one time. I was staying with my Grandma and Grandpa at a logging camp where they were working in northeast California in 1967. We all stood at a window in our cabin listening one night and trying to figure out what kind of animal was howling because Grandpa didn't know. He was completely perplexed 'It's not wolves, it's not coyotes.'

I've heard recordings lately on YouTube of them howling and it's the same kind of howling. I remember how I ended up seeing one because of my granny. She'd scare the heck out of me about bears, so I would stay close and not wander into the woods myself. I was on my own while they worked. I was always watching the woods.

One day when they had some time off we went on a little hike through the woods together. I, of course, was watching for bears and I saw something dark between some big trees. So I looked closer and its head slowly turned and looked straight at me. I didn't say a thing. I was in disbelief. I was watching where I was walking and looked back again but it was gone. I kept looking in that spot but it was so sneaky. It moved fast away before I knew it.

Grandma and Grandpa never ever talked about such things to me, so it wasn't my imagination or put in my head. It was in the area where people claimed to see them the most. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly where, but I remember very big trees. This is the first time I've said a word about the experience to anyone. Oh yeah, they are out there.” LB

Possible CONICAL 'METALLIC' IMPLANT Removed Canadian Patient

A British Columbia resident discusses a possible implant that was removed from their bicep. Interesting that the patient never received a pathology report concerning the implant.

I received the following account:

"I had a conical shaped 10mm long, 3mm diameter at the base object, removed from my left bicep in 2003, maybe 2004, at a hospital. I had a mole removed on my shoulder at the same time, as the hard object in my bicep that I had been playing with under my skin and grossing other kids out for a few years. The doctor thought it would be best to remove it. This object had seemingly either grown over time or grown instantly. It wasn't of huge concern to me years ago and it seemed to be a small item at first, and a larger more annoying item some years later. I used to play with it under my skin, pinching it and moving it around, never causing any pain.

I laid down on the table in different positions to get local anesthetic for having the mole and object removed. I remember watching the whole event take place, laying on my back watching the scalpel dive into my bicep like a shovel and cutting around in a circle to dig this thing out. Almost like it had its own catacomb? The tissue around it looked like cartilage. The doctor had to cut this white tissue away from it like an elastic band that was wrapping itself around the cone object connected to me as well as spaghetti noodles. It felt like tugging as he was trying to remove it. It was all gnarled kind of like obsidian, but not shiny. More like an exposed tree root, but metallic.

My doctor dropped it into a little glass jar and it made the exact sound of dropping a half-inch screw into a jar. I'll never forget that 'ting ting' ringing sound it made. I asked him if I could get some results on that after they send it away, and he was kind of 'hush hush' I guess would be the word. He's not a talkative doctor; he's quite conservative and reserved. I don't know if he was puzzled, inquisitive, or terrified, but that was pretty much the end of the saga. The object left a nice hole where it was taken out. They sewed it up with stitches but it was a weird cavity that took the place of, almost like it was supposed to be there.

The scar today is surprisingly small compared to the item removed that I remember playing with from the exterior of my skin, moving it about. There was a line of questions from my doctor later, but honestly, nothing came to fruition. I never got any results, as time went by.

Some years later, on cable TV circa 2007 or so, I saw a guy in one of the dry states in the USA had found a meteorite or something conical looking that looked exactly like the object removed from my body, just way bigger." K

'Can't You Hear the Babies Crying?'

A woman and her daughter's visit to the Jamestown State Park in Virginia results in an interesting experience, possibly related to historical events.

Yvonne wrote in to tell of a weird experience she had in Jamestown State Park:

“We live in Richmond, Virginia. There are so many wonderful historical locations in our area and I was determined that my young daughter experience them all. One afternoon when she was about two and a half we took the 45-minute drive to Jamestown State Park. At that time, the state park was a wide open field with a few historical markers, a historical church, and a statue of Pocahontas. I thought it was ideal because it would allow my daughter to run around til her heart's content. I figured that when she tuckered herself out, we'd have a nice lunch in Williamsburg and go home. Easy peezy, right? No.

When we arrived at the Jamestown State Park, we wandered around the courtyard of the church. My daughter became absorbed with the statue of Pocahontas for a few moments and then we walked on. It was just her, the Ranger, and I in the park and it had no other visitors that day. I was happy to have the place to ourselves. I started walking toward the walkway thinking my daughter was right behind me. I turned around and noticed that my daughter had stopped walking. I thought that it was because she wanted to go back to the statue so I said, 'Look, Tatiana, let's go see the park.' She still refused to budge. I took her by the little hand and started walking with her up up the pathway toward the foundation markings of the original settlement. She suddenly stopped and refused to go any further. She turned her little face towards the James River. I told her we could take a quick walk around and then we could go have some lunch. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes and said: 'Can't you hear the babies crying in the water?' She had such a look of concern on her tiny face that I did what every mommy would do, I picked her up by the back of her overalls and carried her out of the park like a little purse, put her in the car, and peeled out of there.

About a decade later archaeologists discovered that a majority of the original Jamestown settlement had been reclaimed by the James River. I often wonder if it was the spirits of the settlers she was hearing but her mind couldn’t work out where the noise was coming from because that area is now covered by the water of the James.”

NOTE: When I was in high school, I was a part of a history group that visited several sites in Colonel Virginia. We actually stayed overnight in the dorms at William and Mary College (which was interesting in itself). I had an unsettling experience at the Jamestown Settlement. This was in the mid-1970s when there was a lot of archaeological work being conducted. I have talked to other people who have visited the location over the years, and the overall 'sense' of death still pervades it. I rarely have issues at historical sites where there has been known death and tragedy, but Jamestown is definitely an exception. Lon
