Income Streams

In 2018, I was living on one stream of income.
In 2023, I earned from three sources of income.
Here’s how you, too, can do the same:
First, diversify your skills and interests to make yourself marketable in multiple areas.
Second, consider starting a side hustle or freelance business.
Finally, invest in passive income streams such as stocks, real estate, or online businesses. These sources of income require some initial investment but can provide long-term financial stability and freedom.
By following these steps and being proactive in seeking out multiple sources of income, you too can achieve financial independence and security with three streams of income.

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱
Think of it this way:
A routine is like a practice session.
Goal-achieving is the game.
Without practice, you won’t be able to play your best game.
The daily routine is a way to put chaos into order
After the order, you start to laser-focus on achieving stuff
But most people think ticking off their routine habits is success
It is success only if it aids in accomplishing your goals or dreams.
What if you wake up, follow a great routine, and waste the entire day binge-watching?
No, that’s not the point.
Even without a routine if you focus on tasks that move the needle towards your goal that is fine.
(But it becomes clear that this brute force tactic rarely works:
(I bet an obese person is not ready for the Olympic sprint.)
Create routines to achieve goals, not routines for routine sake.
PS: Do you have routines?

How to do great research for Non-fiction articles or books
1) Start early and budget time accordingly.
2) Search both primary and secondary sources
3) Mine bibliographies to find relevant sources
4) Take thorough notes while reading
5) Seek both confirming and conflicting viewpoints
6) Store and organise source material
7) Now write.
PS: This covers only research, not the writing part. Follow me to learn about writing.

Lamentation 100

Lam 100
Nothing makes sense anymore
My life has changed.
Outside, I might seem okay
Inside, I can’t forgive myself.
Dissecting my life has unearthed
childhood memories.
Unlucky is the conclusion
I have come.
Yearning for cricket bats, new shoes,
and everything else
Father couldn’t afford it,
so learn’t never to ask for things.
In college, many friends
All because I could be of help
After all the lights and glimmer
Alone in the dark room, I spent.
Then you came, like a glimmer of hope
Peered into my eyes, like none before
You let me sing and rejoce
But as fate like to play.
I left and came back,
but you had moved away.
I tried, and tried,
but never could succeed.
Even you would’nt give me hope
(I am too unworthy I guess)
It hurt me so much
that I went back to my shell.
Now you gone away,
leavin me in hell
with your half hearted apology.
It has been ages and yet
I cannot forgive mysef.
How could’ve loved you,
knowing I am unlucky man?
How could I have trusted you,
knowing all too well my unlucky fate.
Why care for you, knowing
you would never care a bit .
How foolish, I can’t forgive myself.
Some say that you are unlukcy,
and you missed me.
But only history can judge
if I or you were unlucky.

I never thought I would submit my PhD.
I never thought I would submit my PhD.
It was a wild ride.
In 11th grade, my dad died.
Very few relatives supported us (my mom, sister and me)
Some didn’t want us to get educated.
But my mom persisted.
So, I went to college without passion, like a sheep joining EEE.
I quit after a year.
Then I joined English literature. (Interested, like crazy.)
Did, B.A, M.A, B.Ed, NET now finally submitted Phd thesis. Next up Post Doc.
It has certainly been a ride.
But learnt many lessons along the way:
-Most of my little successes in life have to be credited to my school education.
-Reading is important
-People want you to succeed , but when you grow beyond them, they don’t like that.
-None will come to help you ( I have consulted for more than 20 people to get their doctorates), but when it came to my own work no one came to help. Not thesis work, just simple stuff like their input on printing, submitting, what to do, and what not. People will only talk with you until their work is done. It was me, God, and my junkie bike against the world.
-I have not cared for degrees that much because I have seen some unintelligent people holding advanced degrees.
-It is a long project, without proper planning, you might feel completely overwhelmed.
Universities should come up with better software solutions about Phd submission, evaluation. (A business idea for the startup geeks)
-Please remove Librarians from Acknowledgments, they don’t even know you exist.
-Finally, my degree will get me some increment, pity I know, but I don’t care about that. If I use it right it will open extraordinary doors.
It is a big deal for a boy from the hills with very little financial means to come to this point. Bigger monuments await. Greater stages await. Avenging heartbreakers await.

How to change your life in 6-12 months according to Dan Koe
-Be aware of what you don’t want.
e.g – A fat body, financial ruin etc.( you don’t want that)
-Create an “anti-vision” … list everything you don’t want in life, and use that to define your vision.
-Plan out daily and weekly actions. (Simple, yet overlooked)
-Follow the boring fundamentals. Repeat actions that give you results.
-It is a lifetime journey. Make the commitment to mastery.
Do this and after 6 to 12 months you would be in the top 1%.
Reason why people fail:
Lot of people will read this, and not do a thing about you.
Commitment to do things than talking about them is the difference between successful and failure.
Ps: Follow me for more such content.
