I’m officially heading to the Tucson Festival of Books as an author for THE WELL’s END (and maybe as a literary agent). Very excited.
My mother used to live there, worked at the hospital, and that was before I had a job in publishing some nine-ten years ago. I remember listening to Elizabeth Kostova be interviewed for THE HISTORIAN. I remember the heat, the incredible heat (and I’m from desert Texas). I remember the saguaros, the hawks, the lack of lawns and the adobe fun. Mostly, the good people. I can’t wait to come back and see it all again.
