HELP! We Made YouTube's Algorithm Angry!

HELP! We Made YouTube's Algorithm Angry!:

edwardspoonhands:

YouTube uses a complicated algorithm to decide whether or not to show you videos from the people you’re subscribed to. One of the most pieces of data in this algorithm is the number of times people ignore videos from a particular creator on their “What to Watch” page.

Am at a dude ranch in the middle of Texas and this guy and I start talking, turns out he was an original animator of Wiley coyote back in the seventies. Awesome.

ryannorth:

My new comic series is called The Midas Flesh and #1 comes out a week from today!  And already there are some SNEAKUM PEEKUM reviews coming out!  Like this one, from Comic Book Resources:

Powered by a creative team that shares credits on “Adventure Time,” this comic book is not at all stymied by a lack of imagination. I’m not exactly sure what the space travelers have to do with the origins of King Midas, but the hook has been baited and I’ve been hooked. “The Midas Flesh” #1 is a bizarrely familiar, but reverently and humorously modernized fable intertwined with an apparent space opera that happens to feature a Utahraptor. BOOM! Box has given readers a solid first offering that feels like an underground independent success in the making. The best part? This is, so very clearly, just the beginning.

Ahhh, so great!  You can pick up the book at your local comic book shop (or have them put one aside for you if you ask!) or direct from the publisher.  The above cover for issue #1 is by the great Noelle Stevenson! :o

You can read more about the book here!

Goodreads Author Tip

Did you know that if 1000 people mark your book as ‘to-read’, @goodreads begins to advertise your book for free?

I have almost 500. Long way to go, but tis kind of a fun goal to aim for.
