Some folks might remember that I got my favorite part of Middle Earth tattooed on my head a while ago, but now there’s more! The whole side has been done that stretches all the way to Erebor, and I’m not even done yet.

(Many continuous thanks to Ed Dempsey in Woodstock, Ny)

I like maps on people. And people on maps.

I am so impressed

So I was browsing goodreads and then.

I think this might be the only comment I’ve ever made on goodreads.

I can’t really believe how lucky I am. My book, The...

I can’t really believe how lucky I am. My book, The Well’s End, is out on February 25th. I’ve been writing since the 9th grade and finally it’s coming. It’s so weird to have a reading at Books of Wonder when I’ve gone there as a reader for so long (will there be 50 Cronuts there? Yes, probably, definitely, yes!).

But more than that, even though I’m familiar with the publishing world, I’m still shocked at how generous and amazing people are with their time and enthusiasm.

Each of these blurbs blew my mind in their own ways. I’ve read all of these authors, am so impressed by them, and can’t really express my… hmm… confusion at their names on my book. It’s a dizzying thing.  And, I kid you not, as I was writing that last sentence my editor just called to tell me that the book received a starred review at Booklist! (‘A fast-paced, thrilling adventure story that begs for a sequel.’) Woa.

Below, in one place, the too nice things said about The Well’s End.

Hmm, I guess maybe this might pique your interest.  If so, you can buy from a wonderful physical store from Feb 25th onwards, or preorder at:

Amazon                            Barnes&Noble                     IndieBound
