One more week: HOT AND BOTHERED teaser

Less than one week to the release of HOT AND BOTHERED, Book 3 of the Hot in the Kitchen series featuring Tad and Jules. Italian bad boy wine bar owner, barely reformed Brit chick with a naughty streak, friends to lovers – what could go wrong? And it’s only $2.99 on pre-order at the usual e-tailers (my books usually sell for $5.99 so I have no idea how long that low price will last). How about a few lines to get the juices flowing?

Tad has just prompted Jules for her opinion on the wine they are tasting:

“What do you think, Jules?” Tad asked as the aroma of berries filled her nostrils.

“Warm, a bit spicy.” Like your lips.

Where the hell had that come from? She had been getting along just dandy, planting her head in her life as a busy mom, and trying not to dwell on that horrible night a year ago when she had almost destroyed her friendship with Tad. You might have already seen this on Facebook or Twitter but if not … Finally I can announce the news I’ve been sitting on for months: I’ve sold a new series! I’ve been giving hints about my Chicago-set firefighters series and it’s now official. Here’s the announcement of the deal on Publishers Marketplace:
