I Need a Hero

My reading lately has consisted of a couple of new-to-me authors, all of whom take what I term a rather different approach to what comprises a hero. Not that the books I read don’t have heroes, but the guys have either come across as anti-hero or wish-I-knew-more-hero. I enjoyed all these books, but they did make me question my requirements in a hero. Have I used the word ‘hero’ enough yet?

I’m Going to be Published!

I’ve been fit to bursting for the last two weeks with my news: I’ve sold my book! Or rather my wonderful agent, Nicole Resciniti did. It’ll be published by Grand Central in Spring 2013 – that’s just six months away, people – and not only that, they acquired the other two books in the series as well.
