Dark Waters

I did 20 illustrations for Niklas Swanberg’s company Stroboskop that will be used in his video game Dark Waters, out on Steam this spring. He says it’s a mix of sci-fi and folk horror, where an astronaut discovers an abandoned planet where a possessed witch killed everyone.

Brush and ink illustration for my cosmic-horror short story “Greenpeace” in Merrill David’s new anthology “Head Blown Off Volume 2”. India ink on Bristol Board, 10″ by 8″ rendered with 20/0 watercolor brushes.

Set 5 for Dark Waters!

The last 4 images I rendered for the video game Dark Waters, out on Steam this summer. A hunter driven mad by a witch, a woman viewing the dark waters, distracted, then walking away with her ears covered. Illustrations 17-20, in India ink on Bristol board, all executed with 20/0 watercolor brushes.
