The Dead Man’s Hand Expo

Time is counting down for this awesome horror convention.
We’ll have monster makeup effects, horror movie actors, authors, seminars, illustrators, oddity vendors, contests, tattoos, movie screenings, and more!
The town council of Albany agreed to support this show, which is extremely rare for a horror convention, and is heavily promoting it!
Authors get a discounted booth and I’ll debut the winners for my new anthology!

Open calls!

I have some great authors lined up for my new anthology, including a few big names I can’t drop right now!
Cosmic horror is the theme along the lines of an Outer Limits or Twilight Zone episode. A few entries are left, if you want to submit, email me for consideration at danhenk@gmail.com.
All included authors get the original brush and ink illustration for their story, a free copy of the paperback, and a free booth at the Dead Man’s Hand horror convention this Halloween!

Comic Horror

With a heavy dose of H.P. Lovecraft, a little bit of Graham Hancock, and some of the in-person fresh impact of someone like Chuck Palahniuk, I’m trying to bring my heavily illustrated cosmic horror mythos to life! 2 years running!

JG Faherty is the guest in this latest edition of my podcast. Episode 110 and over two years running! How Crazy is that!
But back JG.
Enjoyable interview, some people just clammed up (or I even had one guy flip out on me and storm off). He was a little weird tho. Would only talk to me with his head cocked sideways and eyes darting around like he was either on something or needed to be!!
But good interview, Faherty is a Horror Writers of America Association member, ex-official too I think, and we go over his storied career and why the world needs more Mummies in its horror diet!!
