We’re all multi-faceted individuals and complexity is what makes us so interesting. I’m a daughter, a sister, a friend, an author, a business owner, a gypsy—the list goes on and on.

For now, I’ll try to explain Mandy the writer as best I can, in the least words possible but better than someone else ever could.

My full name is Mandy J. De Geit. (To make my name easier to search, I dropped the “J” and smashed De Geit together when I realized I’m the only Mandy DeGeit out there.)

Looking forward instead of behind.

I see a lot of people talking about posting blog posts about their 2015 year. While I had an amazing 2015, I don’t think I could write anything that would explain how perfectmy 2015 was. Between ourwedding, mynear death, mygraduation and our purchasing the farm, that alone would have taken up a multitude of pages on the world-wide inter webs and there’s no way I could begin to have done that year
