How Far would you go to protect the people you love?
Seventeen-year old Emma wants what every teenage girl wants: good friends, good grades, and a good looking boyfriend who only has eyes for her. Little does she know that in order to get one, she must sacrifice the other two.
When Luke, Emma’s apparently devoted boyfriend, sets in motion a series of events, Emma finds herself in the middle of an ancient war strategically taking out anyone who gets close to her. Emma seeks refuge in a small coastal town and is introduced to Solomon, a mysterious Native American warrior. Unsure of who exactly are the good guys, Emma is hesitant to trust anyone. But when her feelings for Solomon begin to grow, Emma has difficulty remembering loving her may come at a high price. Now she must decide: can she trust Solomon with her heart? And just how far will she go to protect it?

He leaned toward me, his tone stern. “You have to live the life you have been given. You did not cause nor deserve what has happened. Don’t force yourself to shut people out before you give them a chance. I’m stronger than you think.” His voice hovered over me. “You can trust me. I’ll never hurt you. And I’m not asking to be your friend. You have no choice in my involvement. Accept my help or not, I’m here to stay.”
My eyes were drawn to his. The pull toward him was overwhelming. I was losing my resolve.
“Why are you afraid of me?” His words turned soft and I wondered if I had heard them at all. “When I come…why are you afraid?”
“I don’t know who to believe.” I sighed. “My mind is being told too many things. I don’t know what I am. What you are. I am afraid for you. I don’t want to be responsible for another life.”
He took my hand and rubbed it against his cheek. So soft, I thought. No stubble. Flashes of Luke’s rough skin against my cheek when he’d finally kissed me slithered through my thoughts. My breath caught. I closed my eyes, trying to regain my own thoughts, to push the hard kiss from my mind. Luke’s words echoed through me. I was your first kiss.
Solomon leaned forward and touched his lips to my cheek, lingering briefly before moving away.

Cover Reveal: Forgiveness by AJ Best

It seemed more and more lately that no matter how hard she tried, he looked right through her. It was infuriating and heart breaking. She'd had enough heartbreak during the past year to last her a lifetime. Her mother had been sick battling cancer all last year. Unfortunately she’d lost the battle. She’d made sure to pass on information to Mary while on her deathbed though. Something Mary had never seen coming. She was adopted. Her world felt as if she had lost all control. The adoption information that her mother had left with her will quickly found its way into the trash. Why would she want to find someone who didn't want her? She had enough instances of that in her own home. She did wonder, after a year, if she had reacted too rashly. You never know when you'll need family, and if she met her biological mother maybe she could figure out who she was, inside and out. Mary plopped herself on the bed and let out a huge rush of air. There was no way Joe hadn’t noticed her outfit. She had bought it specifically for their ten-year anniversary night. She remembered how she had anxiously awaited this evening and decided that she would make it perfect no matter how she was feeling. Every year on this day, they left the house at four twenty five and drove to the lake where he had romantically declared his undying love and proposed to her. He always hired a horse drawn carriage. The prancing steed would take them from the lake to a lovely candlelit dinner for two. After having one too many glasses of wine and a wonderful meal, they would enjoy a leisurely stroll to the theater. Wicked was currently playing on Broadway, and she couldn’t wait to hear the music that made her soul dance and her heart soar. Re-reading the book several times had her excited, and she knew the night would be perfect. Then reality reared its ugly head. Carefully she unlaced her corset and tossed the silky white thong in the corner; it still held the dampness from her unquenched desire. "I can't believe I wasted my time and effort on this. Sometimes my husband is such a jerk," when she took a look around it dawned on her that she was talking to herself. Another deep breath and swish of hair and she mused, "I guess its okay to talk to myself as long as I don't answer back, huh CC?" She slipped her silk robe on quickly and snatched the cat from his slumberous repose. He squirmed to free himself but Mary kissed his little nose first. "Don't be like your daddy, at least notice I'm here." She placed the cat gently on the bed and started her morning ritual. Getting ready for work was the last thing she was interested in.

Arabella Holmes was born different and raised different. After it became apparent she wouldn't fit the role of a proper 1900's lady, her father, Sherlock, called in some lingering favors, and landed her a position at the Mutter Museum. The museum was Arabella's dream; she was to become a purveyor of abnormal science. What her father called a BoneSeeker.
Henry Watson arrives at the Mutter Museum with a double assignment--to become a finder of abnormal antiquities and to watch over and keep Arabella Holmes. An easy task, if he could only get her to speak to him instead of throwing knives in his general direction.
But this is no time for child's play. The two teens are assigned to a most secret exploration, when the hand of a Nephilim is unearthed in upstate New York. Soon, Arabella and Henry are caught in a fight for their lives as scientific debate swirls around them. Are the bones from a Neanderthal ... or are they living proof of fallen angels, who supposedly mated with humans according to ancient scrolls?
Sent to recover the skeleton, they discover they are the second team to have been deployed and the entire first team is dead. And now they must trust their instincts and rely on one another in order to survive and uncover the truth.

Did you always wanted to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?
I always loved to tell myself stories, and was an avid reader. Every English teacher I had, encouraged me to write…but I never really considered it till I was older. This will sound corny, but it is true—I wanted to help people-thus why I chose medicine first.
When did you first consider yourself a “writer”?
I can’t say. I will say you learn more about it and the process with every book and year.
How long did it take to get your first book published?
9 months
Do you do another job except for writing and can you tell us more about it?
I am a pediatric therapist, specializing in autism, sensory processing and feeding disorders.
What is the name of your latest book, and if you had to summarize it in less than 20 words what would you say?
Boneseeker. Here is a tweet form: Holmes, daughter of. Watson, son of. Skeleton-antiquities-murder-fallen angel or Neanderthal? Love or not to love?
Who is your publisher? Or do you self-publish?
The fabulous Month 9. Thank you, Georgia McBride.
How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to finishing writing it?
Typically 9 months. The past year I’ve had numerous live events, and am juggling several books—so a little longer.
What can we expect from you in the future? ie More books of the same genre? Books of a different genre?
I tend to write in historical fantasy or historical mystery with strong romantic elements—both adult and ya. Occasionally I swing toward horror. Always with strong romantic elements.
What genre would you place your books into?
See above.
What made you decide to write that genre of book?
Not really a choice—that’s where my brain resides.
Do you have a favorite character from your books? And why are they your favorite?
That is like choosing your favorite child. You love them all for different reasons. I will say Henry and Bella have a fabulous chemistry.
How long have you been writing?, and who or what inspired you to write?
Seriously since 2005.
Do you have a certain routine you have for writing? ie You listen to music, sit in a certain chair?
It depends on the season—summer on my deck. Winter, hidden in a Panera nook. Sometimes summer as well if I need to finish something and the house is chaotic.
Do you read all the reviews of your book/books?
I do.
Do you choose a title first, or write the book then choose the title?
Titles are almost always last for me. Books always have a weird working title, typically based on the setting.
How do you come up with characters names and place names in your books?
Setting is usually a bit of history I find about the place. Names take awhile. They often change till I find the precise one .
Do you decide on character traits (ie shy, quiet, tomboy girl) before writing the whole book or as you go along?
No, the people form on their own. I know the basic story—but it too often veers where it will.
Are there any hidden messages or morals contained in your books? (Morals as in like Aesops Fables type of "The moral of this story is..")
If they are, they are general.
Which format of book do you prefer, eBook, hardback, or paperback?
All, please.
What is your favorite book and Why? Have you read it more than once?
Jane Eyre. Countless times. Austen as well.
The gothic feel of Jane Eyre, and her quiet strength.
Do you think books transfer to movies well? Which is you favorite/worst book to movie transfer?
Sometimes LOL. Well, come on. I shall have to say, Lord of the Rings.
Your favorite food is?
Coffee
Your favorite singer/group is?
Changes weekly
Your favorite color is?
This year, purple.
Your favorite Author is?
Jane Austen.
Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, Brynn Chapman is the daughter of two teachers. Her writing reflects her passions: science, history and love—not necessarily in that order. In real life, the geek gene runs strong in her family, as does the Asperger’s syndrome.
Her writing reflects her experience as a pediatric therapist and her interactions with society’s downtrodden. In fiction, she’s a strong believer in underdogs and happily-ever-afters. She also writes non-fiction and lectures on the subjects of autism and sensory integration and is a medical contributor to online journal The Age of Autism.

She traced a circle in the sand with her finger.
Why would she disclose her whole existence to someone she’d just met? Someone who talked so little about himself that she found herself talking to fill the void. Saying things she could barely admit in her own head.
His hand covered hers. “I’m lonely, too. Getting to know you this week has been the brightest point in my life and I don’t want you to leave, but I know the only place you’ll be safe is far away from me.”
She swallowed. He had read her mind.
He lay down on his back and closed his eyes. “Cali, you know when you hear a song for the first time and you kind of ingest it? You can’t possibly know right away that it will be one of your favorite songs for the rest of your life. A classic.”
“Yeah.” She hoped he was going somewhere good with this.
“That first listen,” he continued, “you pick up a little of the melody and some lyrics that catch you. But when the song ends, you have to hear it again because you want to memorize all the words and sing along. After you hear it a few times and learn the words inside and out, then you begin to let the melody seep inside you. Next thing you know, you’ve completely digested the song and find yourself humming it while you are doing nothing, like shaving or driving your car. Finally, the song becomes so ingrained it becomes a part of you. Forever. You can recall it and it’s with you whenever you need it. Am I making any sense?”
She nodded, blinking back the tears fighting to fall.
“Cali, I don’t want you to go back because you’re my favorite song.”

“So, how did You enjoy Your time in Dubai, youngster?”
Under normal circumstances, a phone call at 7:00 a.m. wouldn’t have bothered me, but coming home and suffering serious jet lag from the near fifteen-hour flight made this phone call something of a cruel joke Amenhotep was playing on me.
With the way I felt, I was in desperate need of a vacation from our vacation. We’d spent nearly a week in paradise, one of the most unique and luxurious locales on the planet while celebrating His and paka’s nuptials, and here He was sounding bright-eyed and bushy-tailed like the flight time never had one ounce of an effect on Him.
I looked at the phone, trying my best to match His energy, realizing quickly that I wouldn’t come close to meeting Him halfway. “Dubai was wonderful, and that’s putting it mildly, Sir,” I replied. My voice sounded like I’d gargled with broken glass. “I feel so drained right now. If I were working for someone else, I would be calling in sick. Why are You calling so early in the morning anyway, Sir? Is something wrong?”
“Well, to answer Your question, we have business to take care of, kid.” He sounded as serious as a heart attack as His voice carried through the air waves and into my ears. “Oh, and You are working for someone else…You’re working for Me, now.”
His trademark chuckle made me want to vomit. He couldn’t be serious about trying to get back to business now, could He? “Come on, Sir? Give Me twenty-four hours to recover, veg out on the couch and enjoy the children, anything other than working the next morning after we’d gotten off the plane?” I hated sounding like a freaking teenager trying to beg his father for more time to be lazy, but I really needed some time to be lazy. Neferterri was soundly sleeping next to me, completely oblivious to the conversation I was having with Him.
Why in the hell did I have to be a light sleeper?
The laughter over the phone after I made my plea gave me the distinct impression that my request would not be honored. “See, that’s the problem with you young folks. By now, I would have taken care of the things that we need to take care of before lunch. Are You getting soft on Me already, youngster?”
I sat up after hearing that question. “Not by a long shot, old man, but I have to wonder how in the world You’re able to be so fucking hyper when You took the same flight we took to get back home?”
“Clean living, You should try it sometime.” His voice never lost its energy. Slowly and surely, it began to breathe life into me, providing the necessary adrenaline rush to lift from the bed and shuffle into the bathroom to begin freshening up. “In order to be great, You have to leave Your mark. Are You ready to leave Your mark, Ramesses?”
He appealed to my ego with that question. He knew full well I was ready to leave my mark, and I was ready to do it in a big way. I had been plotting and planning ever since the conversation we had in Dubai one night, when everything was set in motion:
“I’m ready to do this, Sir. The shock has worn off. It’s My time, now.”
“Is that right, Ramesses? Do You think You’re ready to take things tothe next level?”
“I wouldn’t be here talking with You if I wasn’t ready to take things to the next level. The question is, are You ready for what the next level is?”
“Youngster, I’ve been waiting for You for the past few years to figure out when You were ready. I have the means for You to do what needs to be done, and You have the energy and drive to make it all happen. The way I see it, it’s a win-win proposition for everyone involved.”
“So, why are we here talking when we can be laying the groundwork so I can hit the ground running when we get back? You know the expansion plans I’ve wanted to execute for some time now.”
“The answer to Your question comes with its own question, Ramesses. The plans for the Palace are only the tip of the iceberg. There’s something else I need You to do for Me. This is big, probably bigger than any plans You might have for the Palace.”
“I haven’t refused You before, what makes You think I’m backing down from this request?”
“The request I am making of You, Sir, will require You to do something that I don’t know if You’re going to be willing to do.”
“Stop speaking in riddles and get to the point, Sir. You know I don’t do the cloak-and-dagger nonsense. Spit it out.”
“In order for You to accomplish the expansion plans that You have in mind, You’re going to have to have two individuals to help with those plans. They haven’t spoken to each other in nearly a decade, and despite My efforts, they have yet to reach an accord. Where I have failed, perhaps You might succeed. It’s the only way Your ultimate plans will come to fruition.”
“If it’s the two people that I think You’re talking about, Sir, I might as well scrap the plans now.”
“Don’t be so quick to scrap what has been laid out for You, Ramesses. You and I both know things happen for a reason.”
“I’m dying to know what the reason is for this one.”
“Only time will tell, My old friend…only time will tell.”
“You haven’t answered My question, kid,” Amenhotep’s voice sliced through my thoughts. “Are You ready to leave Your mark?”
What He asked for was the impossible. A decade of noncommunication and animosity, and I was supposed to diffuse that in the course of months? If He couldn’t do it, what made Him think I would be able to do it? Yes, I have an ego bigger than the great state of Texas, but even I have my limitations. On the one hand, what He was asking for was next to impossible, but on the other hand, if I had the right
leverage, I might have the ability to do something my Mentor wasn’t able to do. The end game was too seductive to resist.
“I’m ready, Sir,” I answered. “And I already have a plan in mind.”

“I know.” I pushed aside my wallet to dig to the bottom of my oversized purse. “I kind of take for granted that this is supposed to be a safe neighborhood.”
“Until an alien abducts you off your poorly lit porch.”
“Very funny.” I glanced up from my purse with a smile. “But really, it’s late. You could have been home by now.”
“Gen, I’m glad to walk you to your door. I would have worried about you if I hadn’t.”
I considered him as we stood there on my porch, the light flickering above us. I didn’t want him to leave, but I didn’t know how to ask him to stay. Maybe I could ask him in for a drink, though I’d already had enough.
But I have those cupcakes…
Yeah. I could offer him cupcakes. They weren’t his favorite, chocolate with sprinkles, but yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting had to be a close second, right? Hadn’t he said a cupcake will fix everything?
“I’m really glad we went out tonight.” His voice made me jump and I dropped the keys. We both bent to pick them up at the same time and bumped foreheads.
“Sorry,” he said.
“It’s okay, I’m fine.” I clasped my forehead and laughed. Probably, I sounded hysterical. Like a rabid hyena. I couldn’t even look him in the eye when I took the keys from him. “Thanks for inviting me. I had a lot of fun tonight.”
“Me too,” he said.
I put the key into the lock, turning it slowly as I struggled with what to do about him and my out of control libido. Unlocking my door hadn’t given me enough time to figure things out, though, so I tried to prolong sliding the patio door open. That didn’t take long either, and I hesitated in the doorway, still unsure. I opened my mouth to ask him in, but nothing came out. So I stepped backward through the doorway, my gaze glued to his. After a moment, he followed me inside, part of his face lost in shadows.
Time stood still. My tongue darted out to lick my lips, and I lifted up onto my toes as he lowered his head to meet me halfway. The smell of his cologne surrounded me and my eyes drifted shut. He grasped me loosely around my back, pulling me close, sending shivers coursing through my body. His breath caressed my skin, his lips just a whisper away from mine, and my lips parted…

Bridal boutique owner, Alexis Gorecki, used to believe in happily-ever-afters—until prince charming turned into a toad.
Months after being blindsided by her own horrific wedding scandal, Lexie is desperately trying to keep her boutique afloat in the wake of all the bad publicity. Waging war against her evil almost-in-laws—the people who will stop at nothing to ruin her reputation—sounded much better in her head. Lexie's strawberries and cream personality really isn’t cut out for taser guns and blackmail.
To complicate matters, Lexie's first love is back in town with his sexy green eyes and out-of-control abs. He already broke her heart once before, the beast. Leo Moss has always been her weakness and he's made it perfectly clear what he wants. Can he convince Lexie she's not done with love just yet?

“Me pushing you away has nothing to do with Jeremy,” I said and crossed my arms. What I didn’t say was that it had everything to do with Leo, with our past, with me not wanting to get my heart broken again. Why couldn’t he understand that? Why couldn’t he read my mind and know all the questions I had about why he’d broken up with me the way he had, and why he was suddenly here, again, in my life, torturing me with feelings I didn’t want to have. Feelings that scared the hell out of me?
His face lowered, and suddenly his lips were near my ear lobe. I sucked in a breath. “Did he make you feel like this?” he whispered, and then his lips pressed softly against the sensitive skin of my neck. “Or this?” His lips captured my earlobe, a flicker of wet heat, and then it was gone, replaced by a draft of cold air seeping through the crack under the door. “Or this.”
His lips captured mine and stars exploded behind my closed eyes. Everything was warm, my entire body weightless and fuzzy. The kiss was slow; the heat of it felt all the way down to my toes. His tongue slid against mine in a silken kiss of passion that erupted inside of me.

Niecey Roy knew she wanted to be a writer from a very young age, but her moment of enlightenment came after watching the movie You’ve Got Mail. It was then she realized her place in life, and happily parked her butt on writing romance. Her dream was to create sexy vixens, hunky, half-naked heroes, and above all, romance; lots and lots of butterflies in the belly, breathless first kisses and happily-ever-afters.
Most days she can be found at home at a cluttered desk, pounding her tired little fingers away on a keyboard with nothing but black pepper flavored sunflower seeds and Visine as her weapons for mass-romance-novel-creation. When her fingers need a break, you’ll find her at a table with friends, drinking a few martinis and showing off a new pair of (sometimes ridiculous) high heels. She’s usually the loudest at the table and most often the one snorting with laughter.
Niecey is the author of Fender Bender Blues, a contemporary romantic comedy published by The Wild Rose Press. Her new romantic comedy series, What’s Love??? includes Another Shot At Love, and Done With Love releasing April 2014.

Ethan’s eyebrows shot up. “Whoa, that’s huge.” “Right? Big stuff. Plus, I promised her I’d try to make it back alive. The way I see it, I stand a better chance of that if we can try to fight together, even if it’s just for today. What do you think? Let’s end this shit so we can get home. You have a girl to win over, and I’d rather not piss mine off by coming home in a body bag.” Ethan nods. “Yeah. Yeah, okay, sure.” My hand grasps his shoulder just as a flying metal disc comes whizzing at his head. He cries out as I take him to the ground, just barely saving him from being decapitated. I’m not quite as lucky. The metal disc slices into my cheek as it flies by, laying it open. Pain explodes along the left side of my face, leaving a trail of fire that goes from my jaw to just beneath my eye. Another inch and I’d be sporting a falsie like Blythe. Behind Ethan, one of the Rejects has some sort of makeshift gun mounted on his shoulder. It’s the size of a small cannon, and it is shooting another disc at me. Dropping for cover and avoiding another gash, I grab Ethan’s shoulder again. “You good?” He stares at me with wide eyes and nods. “Yeah.” “Cool. Stay down while I kill this dickhead.” This time when he fires at me, I’m ready. The pistons in my leg joints fire rapidly and I jump, my boot connecting with the disc and kicking it back the way it came. I give Ethan a hand up as the Reject’s head slides from his shoulders, taken off by his own disc. “Can dish it out but can’t take it,” I grumble as I help Ethan to his feet. He smiles at me appreciatively. “You saved my life, man. Thanks.” “No need to thank me. Now, let’s go save some others.”

About The Bionics Series:
The year is 4010. Nuclear war and the wasteful nature of humans have all but destroyed the United States. A new government regime rules the day with strict laws, rationed food, and careful control. When those injured in the nuclear blasts that rocked many of the nations largest cities are offered another chance by the Restoration Project, how could they refuse?
Little do they know that the robotic additions to their body will paint targets on their backs once the government decides that they are dangerous. At the forefront of the resistance is a girl with a bionic eye, Blythe Sol, who wants nothing more than to be a normal girl. Blythe has yet to realize that normal will never exist again for her, or anyone else.
About The Bionics, Book 1:
All I ever wanted was to be a normal girl. I had dreams of joining the ranks of the Military Police and making my family proud. But the nuclear war that laid waste to our country destroyed any hope I had of being normal ever again. They took everything away from me, including my humanity. I am now half-human, half-machine, part of the never-ending freak show that is the Restoration Project.
They hate what they created and they fear us for being powerful.
And so they hunt us, destroying our lives so that they can bury what they built. What they don’t know is this: there is a Resistance out there and The Bionics aren’t going down without a fight.

We stand on the brink of a double rescue mission, a plan so foolhardy that even our bravest men are quaking inside with fear. Storm the capitol, free the prisoners, don’t get killed. It seems like a suicide mission, but not a single one of us has anything to lose.
In my past life, I was a scoundrel; a drug peddling street thug who cared nothing for anyone because I had no one to care for me. The nuclear blasts of 4006 reminded me of the value of life, and a girl with the saddest eyes I’ve ever gazed into gave me someone to care for. Now, as we embark on our most dangerous enterprise, I can only hope that we make it out alive and that those we have lost can be recovered.
Foolishness … fear … hope … These are the elements that threw our revolution into motion. As the momentum of the Resistance continues to build, we can only pray that hope continues grow larger than our fear.

Before The Resistance, my life was one of privilege and comfort. Before The Resistance, mine was a mindset of naiveté and blind trust in a broken and corrupt government. Before The Resistance, I’d never stood up or fought for anything in my life.
Now, there is everything to fight for and everything to lose. All for a glimmer of hope in our future. It may seem a small thing but with the smallest bit of hope, men have risen against their oppressors with fists raised, even when they knew they stared into the face of death.
Now that I have found something to fight for, I can only hope that my past will not become a roadblock to my future and that the secrets I’ve kept from those whose trust I’ve gained will not come back to ruin the new life I’ve made. If they do, I fear that I will not only lose my place as part of the Resistance, but the heart of the girl I am slowly coming to love.

Most nineteen-year-old girls are thinking about college, stretching the wings of newfound adulthood, and boys. Well, I’ll probably never go to college, and all my dreams of the future are gone. I’ve been adult for much longer than I should have been, and my girlhood was stolen the minute the North Koreans dropped their nukes over the United States. As for boys … well, that’s pretty much out of the question now. My love life is too messy to even talk about.
I have nothing.
Except, maybe, my cause—my mission—The Resistance. It is the hope I have to cling to. I am counting on it to pave the way to my future. As things heat up and the terrorist sect known as The Rejects make themselves known opponents of society in this war, the choice to be on the side of good is harder than ever. My friends are broken; Olivia is a shell of her former self, and Jenica is barely hanging on. Dax and Gage … well, we’re not talking about my love life, remember?
The Rejects, the government, President Drummond… they are pressing in on us from all sides, and the weight is tremendous. Still, when given the choice to crumble or stand, I’d rather stand. Times are dark, but we are here, a rebellion, a whisper in the dark, a spark that lights the flames of change.

The mother of three and wife to an Army sergeant, she loves chocolate, coffee, and of course good books. When not writing, you can usually find her with her nose in a book, shopping for shoes and fabulous jewelry, or spending time with her loving family.

I grabbed Cherry by the arms and pulled her close. I hadn’t suspected those details. Honestly.
I thought back again to my first time with Denise. She spent hours gently nudging me from the awkward, nervous nipple sucker to a skilled clit-manipulator, G-spot hunter, and dick-dunker.
Still wrapped in my arms, I led Cherry to the kitchen table. “You probably feel ashamed, right?”
She nodded.
“Embarrassed, too, huh?”
She nodded and sniffled. “My mom didn’t talk to me for days. I wanted her to understand I was just curious, you know. I’ve been this goody-two-shoes girl all my life. I mean, it was just a cucumber. Then I thought, you know, some guys have their first time with professionals. Why can’t I? I just want to know…to feel…be filled…” Her breath hitched and she shook within my hold.
So close in each other’s space, I breathed in her heady scent of fresh berries. Something else teased my nose; a light sweet vanilla that damn near made my mouth water. I wedged my finger under her chin and tilted her face to mine. I looked into those pools of green innocence as they stared back at me, pleading with me to take the ignorance away, to turn the curiosity into fulfillment.
Refusing wasn’t even an option. Every part of me amped up to… Blow. Her. Fucking. Mind.
Leaning forward, I grazed my lips across hers, whispering, “Don’t ever be ashamed or embarrassed by your sexuality.” I cupped a hand to the back her neck, feeling shivers trail through her as I nibbled her ear and whispered again. “Mr. Baltimore’s going to take it all away, Cherry-baby.”
She sucked a breath through her teeth. “Please…take it…please…”
A View to Ecstasy ~
“Do you need to stop?” I asked.
“Hell no, Baltimore,” Marie answered. Sugary-sweet Snickerdoodle breath filled the space between us. “I can still move. I’m not done until you both break me in two.” A lust-filled grin kissed her lips. She flicked her tongue at me.
I flipped her around so she faced her husband. Her nipples jutted firm, dark and delicious like chocolate chunks, body ready for another rough fuck. I tore the condom wrapping with my teeth, pushing the latex free from the bottom of the package. With one-handed-experience, I rolled my helmet on, gripped Marie by the hips, and held her high above my cock. After one good bounce on the bed, I was thrusting upward into her leaking entrance.
She tossed her head back in ecstasy, pleading for me to fuck her harder.
Retreat Bound ~
“You’re late, Mallory.” His voice, so beautiful to my ears in that just-above-a-baritone kind of vibe, signaled disappointment.
I caught his gaze then cast my look downward. His smoky dark eyes were lust-filled and held a glint of mischief. “I’m sorry, Sir. It won’t happen again.”
I watched his shadow wave in dismissal of my words. “It will. You have certain obligations.” He paused, his voice husky as he spoke again. “But you know what this means.”
My nipples hardened and ached in anticipation. The first few times he’d practiced punishing me at my place, it went so well a couple of the neighbors thought something bad was happening. They had no clue my screams of pain were expressions of blissed out pleasure. Unlike my last Dom, Master Baltimore didn’t like the ball gag. He said it took away the music; that hearing me vocalize the joy and pain he brought me was kin to Mozart hearing his masterpieces conducted and played to perfection. So he turned one of the empty retreat rooms into his very own playground. I’ve been coming and cumming ever since.
“To me,” he commanded.
I glanced back at him, stuck in place by the need seething in his eyes. The hunger…
Bound to Collide ~
Warm fingers splayed upon my back, pressed firm, crushing me to his chest with reckless abandon. His strong arms held me so close I dared not do more than grasp a hold of him and cling for dear life.
We shuffle-kissed to the bottom of the stairs. We’d barely made it up to the single curve in the stairs, before he broke the kiss, huffing out, “I can’t.”
“Can’t what?” My breasts swelled in his presence. My nipples ached for his touch. I needed the full length of him drilling into the depths of my pussy. What was with the ‘can’t’?
A glint shone in his eyes. I should’ve known better than to question him. “I can’t wait,” he growled. He peeled my slacks and panties off in one fell swoop. The clothes pooled in a heap at the foot of the stairs.
Did you always want to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?
I always wanted to be a writer but the reality of my life, growing up, didn’t lend itself to believing that I could be a writer. If I couldn’t live off it, I couldn’t spend time doing it. So I dreamt of becoming either an attorney like Claire Huxtable from The Cosby Show or a high level employee in the corporate world. Now that I’ve given myself to my writing passion, I’m only sad I didn’t allow myself this joy much earlier. Even though I’m not living off of my publications, I’m happier because I’m doing something I love.
When did you first consider yourself a “writer”?
When I took myself seriously enough to attend the Writers and Editors Conference in Austin, TX around 2006.
Who is your publisher? Or do you self-publish?
I self-publish. It’s a decision I didn’t make lightly. Self-publishing isn’t for everyone but I enjoy it.
What can we expect from you in the future? ie More books of the same genre? Books of a different genre?
Under my pen name, Rayven Godchild, the books will be either erotica or erotic romance. Under my name, Angela Brown, I love writing YA, MG, NA and have dabbled at learning more about picture books.
What genre would you place your books into?
My Confessions of a Sex Fiend series is contemporary erotica. Although there is a running theme for the stories, it’s all about giving the reader something that makes them squeal - I mean - they can feel J
What made you decide to write that genre of book?
The first time I self-published an erotic romance, it was after a bit of inspiration from reading Zane’s Addicted. That was something I should have stayed with, but life had other issues to throw my way.
I was at Indie Romance Con 2013 in Tennessee when I was inspired to return to erotica/erotic romance. It was a wonderful convention filled with awesome authors like Kallypso Masters and Red Phoenix.
Do you have a favorite character from your books? And why are they your favorite?
My fave actually comes from Neverlove, a YA novel I wrote and self-published under my author name, Angela Brown. The character’s name is Abigail (Abby). She has to deal with a sexually abusive father, absentee mom and the pain of wishing her brother was alive. Love is not a thing of kindness to her yet she doesn’t completely shut her heart down, allowing the possibility of love to reach her. That can be a hard thing to do…and I adore her for it.
Do you have a certain routine for writing? ie You listen to music, sit in a certain chair?
I don’t have a real routine. I try to work during the day, play at single parenting with my daughter during the evening then find a couple of hours to write after I’ve put her to bed. That means I might sit in the living room with my laptop on my lap or sit up in bed to get in some writing time…usually in the quiet of night.
Do you read all the reviews of your book/books?
No. Reviews are subjective to the reader that posts the review. Different readers may have very different experiences with my stories. Of course, it’s my hope that the experiences are wonderful J
Do you choose a title first, or write the book then choose the title?
It works different ways. I had the title for the Confessions of a Sex Fiend series first, wrote each one and had a blast. I recently wrote a short story, for my Angela Brown side, that I couldn’t come up with the title for until weeks after I finished writing the story. It can be nuts lol!
Do you decide on character traits (ie shy, quiet, tomboy girl) before writing the whole book or as you go along?
I let the characters grow organically. Trying to decide the traits for them doesn’t work well for me. Characters tend to get rebellious when I try to tell them who they are and how they should be lol!!
Which format of book do you prefer, eBook, hardback, or paperback?
I love ebook for the variety of books I can house on one piece of equipment, but I prefer the feel of a paperback in my hand *le sigh*
Do you think books transfer to movies well? Which is you favorite/worst book to movie transfer?
Not a lot of books transfer to movies well. I was so glad that the Lord of the Rings trilogy transferred fantastically to the big screen.
Your favorite food is?
Chocolate
Your favorite color is?
Pink (and I have to add black lol!)
Your favorite Author is?
Authors are like a bag of Lay’s potato chips, it’s hard to name just one favorite J
Rayven Godchild is an author of erotica/erotic romance short stories, novels and novellas. Her first published work appeared in a fit of obscurity during a tumultuous time in life. That story, Secret Lilies, will see the light of day again with a lot less stress and a lot more joy surrounding its republication in the very near future.
Currently, the Confessions of a Sex Fiend short stories are working their way out into the world, with the first one, Tasting Cherry, as Rayven’s re-debut as an author. A View to Ecstasy and Retreat Bound are available. Bound to Collide is the final confession, but certainly not the last the world will hear from Chancellor Baltimore.

Book Description:
Can a kidnapped fairy and a human find love despite all odds?
Nathan Alexander’s batty aunt has done it again. This time she’s sent him a rare plant he doesn’t want. Imagine his surprise when he finds a kidnapped fairy hidden within its leaves. As a man who heads a non-profit organization for abused women and children, Nathan makes it his mission to help her find her way home.
All her life Katenia was warned about the evilness of humans. Never was that proved more true than when she was kidnapped from her quiet valley home. Thrust into the human world, Katenia must fight her very instincts to trust Nathan if she ever hopes to return to her rightful place…and to her normal thumb-sized fairy form.
But with their lives in danger, finding home…and love…will be a journey worthy of a fairy tale.
“Nathan? Are you alright? You look like you’re contemplating ways to kill me.”
He opened his eyes and glared at her, even as he let out a shuddering laugh. “No, Katenia,” he gritted out through clenched teeth. “Killing you is not what is on my mind. I thought you said we would be a bad idea?”
“I did,” she said, her beautiful face screwing up in confusion. “Pair-bonding between us would never work. Sex, however…sex is a very good idea.”
Nathan nodded once, finally understanding. Ignoring the honking of the line of cars behind him, he rolled up one shirtsleeve and pinched his arm.
“What are you doing?” she asked, her voice worried.
He barked out a laugh when the pain did nothing to wake him from whatever dream he’d landed in. “Testing myself.”
“Oh.” She sighed. “I don’t know what that means.”
“I don’t, either, but considering I am not certifiable enough to have sex with a fairy, the only other logical conclusion is I’m dreaming.”
“Oh,” she repeated, still sounding confused. “Are you dreaming?”
He sighed and shook his head, accepting the facts laid out before him. “No. My whole world view has just been altered, but unfortunately, I am not dreaming.”
Convinced dragons have gotten a bad rep throughout time, and more than a little addicted to fairy tales and romance novels, Eden Ashe has decided to re-write history. In her version, the dragons are ancient warriors in tarnished armor, who not only deserve the girl in the end, but will fight forever for her.
