Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince in “Wonder Woman“ (2017)
I am thrilled that Diana is finally getting a movie of her own. Gal Gadot was definitely the highlight of Batman v Superman.

The only known...

The only known video footage of Anne Frank
I can’t think of any reason why someone would not reblog this.
If this isn’t interesting/sad to you, then I don’t know what you like in life.
Can’t we hit 1,000,000 notes? This is such a rare shot, everyone should see it.

What's up?
So I totally abandoned the 30 day challenge half way through. The 16th day didn’t appeal to me, it was to bullet point my day. That just did work out. So I was going to just skip that day, but other things got in the way.
However, I have hardly been inactive, in fact I am very proud to say that the hubby and I have each been losing weight. I’ve put on a great deal of weight the last 5-6 years and it really hit me when my doctor made a comment about it.
Right before Easter we made a conscious choice to start exercising and changing our eating habits. I’ve completely given up pop/soda and am eating way more fruits and veggies. We each exercise almost everyday on the treadmill and I’ve added some yoga poses to mine. I am now down 20lbs. It has been a tough journey but one I am so glad to be doing. I don’t have a set goal yet, but I hope that by making these change I can keep it up and be much healthier.

30 day challenge - day 15
Three pet peeves!
1. My name is Christopher. I go almost exclusively by it at work and online. Only family and close friends call me Chris. It drives me absolutely nuts that when I introduce myself to others as Christopher and they immediately shorten it to Chris. No - that is not my name. If I wanted you to call me Chris, I would have introduced myself that way. Do not assume that I want you calling me Chris. That is reserved for those close to me.
2. That I have to order most sandwiches without Mayo. Why do restaurants assume that everyone loves mayo. I don’t! I hate it. I shouldn’t have to ask - does it have mayo (even when it isn’t listed on the menu), because I have been burned too many times with food arriving with Mayo when it wasn’t included in the description. I also can’t tell you the number of items I have asked for no mayo and my sandwich still came with it. Argh!!!!
3. People who come into the library talking on their phones and then want you to help them while they continue their conversation. First - end your conversation and talk directly to me instead of starting to ask me a question and then pause and talk to the person on the phone. It is rude and your are keeping me from helping customers who aren’t on their phones and need assistance. As much as I love my cell phone and all the things I can do with it - too many people can’t seem to realize how rude it is to keep talking on the phone when in a public building or when trying to get assistance. No call should be that important and if it is - why are you in the library?

30 day challenge - Day 14
My life in 7 years
Sadly, even in 7 years I will still be working as I am currently about 12 years away before I can even consider retire. Of course that is a daunting thought in itself. But that is a topic for another discussion …
I imagine that in seven years I will still be working for the Library and perhaps they will have smartened up and allow me to be running a location. :-) Otherwise hopefully I am working with a group of people that I really enjoy and make every day enjoyable.
Stacey will be retired and hopefully working at a fun part time job that allows us to do lots of traveling - specifically to Walt Disney World or perhaps to Tokyo Disney or Shanghai Disney.
I also wonder if we would have bought a new house by then. Though I don’t really see the need unless our neighborhood goes down hill.
My other hope is that I have published another two novels by then. And perhaps, just perhaps one of them catches the eye of some bigwig and they decide to buy the options to it and create a movie or tv show around it. While I totally would love for that to happen, I am even more energized to think about getting two more of my stories out in the world. I miss my writing a lot and really need to get back into the swing of things.
Two novels in seven years - I can do that!

30 day challenge - Day 13
Your commute to and from work
Sadly it isn’t that exciting. Though with my recent move to another location before I return to our Main Library when construction is complete; it now takes me about 20 minutes on the freeway to get to work.
It is also a more rural freeway so there is not a lot to look at. Thankfully my time coming and going is not during rush hour or it would be horrible to get here. Though I see signs that say construction is starting in a couple days. It says it is only from 7 pm - 5 am; but you never know.
