So Much Goodness

I have so much to be thankful for in 2012. Having achieved a life-long dream of becoming a published author was not only fulfilling, but encouraging and quite addicting too. lol

There is so much to look forward to in this new that I find myself anxious and ready to tackle it all. Are you feeling this same  hope? And although I don’t normally do resolutions (mainly because I always have goals glaring at me all year long), I have set a few personal ones and professional ones. But I don’t want to bore you with those, but instead share my motto for 2013:

Don’t pay no mind to the demons. They fill you with fear ~ Phillip Phillips from the song Home

This phrase has really struck a chord with me and you may find meaning in it yourself if you spend some time with it and let it simmer.

Thank you for all of your support in 2012, your love, and enthusiasm. Your kind words mean more to me than you know. Let’s tackle 2013 with a vengeance now.

The Texas Book Festival 2012

What a crazy and wonderful weekend. I expected to have a good time, but I didn’t have a good time. I had a GREAT time! Not only did I get to meet so many other wonderful authors, but I got to visit with friends who traveled in for the event too.

The most favorite part of the weekend has to go to my first book signing. WOW! What a great experience and I feel so fortunate to have had it. Saturday I had a signing and Sunday I had another. I was a nervous wreck on the inside before the signing and then once I got going, it was so much fun.

Thank you to everyone who came out and a HUGE thank you to everyone who bought a copy of Naturally, Charlie.  My publisher’s stock of books sold out at that festival which is just so awesome!
