Happy Thanksgiving!! I didn't grow up celebrating such a day, but I really like that we can take time to be thankful. Today I want to be thankful for you. My friends know how strongly I resisted being active on Facebook right at the beginning. Fast forward two years and you guys have added a dimension to my life (and my writing) that I could never have foreseen. You enrich my soul with your consistent kindness. For that I am thankful.

I got book 6 back from my editor and am busy, busy, busy with the changes. First I work through the (very embarrassing) smaller mistakes before I move on to bigger work. A few of my favourite mistakes:
'most rugs' - should be 'most drugs'
'flow in the dark' - should be 'glow in the dark'
'south of Francine' - should be 'south of France' (had me giggling!)
This is what happens when my fingers can't keep up with my brain! What is even more amazing is that I didn't see this the many times I read through it. I'm off to a coffee shop to continue the editing. :-)

Thank you so very much for all your responses. I've read every single one and... book 7 will be from Manny's point of view - a full length novel. I can only hope to do right by him. Now I'll get back to the research while I wait for book 6's return from my editor.
Ooh, wait. Before I go, I think it is important to add that all my plans are subject to the muses' moods. I *plan* to stick to my plan for book 7, but I am at their mercy. I'll keep you updated. :-)

Okay, I need your help. While book 6 is with my editor and I've had a week of utter laziness, I'm beginning to think about book 7.

So... would you guys be interested in a book from Manny's point of view? It would still be the full team, still be an art crime with everything that comes with it but: (1) It will be shorter - 180-200 pages, (2) It will be from Manny's point of view.

You'll learn more about how he sees the team and Genevieve, learn more about his background and how he experiences Francine's annoying flirtation.

Book 8 will definitely be a typical Genevieve full-length novel, but I was wondering if you would like something like this. Book 9 can then be from Vinnie or Colin's perspective. Book 10 - Genevieve full length.

But if we do this, Manny goes first. What do you think? Yes or No?

I went to town to catch up on some chores and walked past a bookshop. They were closing down :-( and were having a huge sale :-). I left with 10 books! :-) :-) I was feeling adventurous and took a few I'd never heard of, but looked interesting. I'm stocked up on coffee, so please excuse me for a few days...

Of course, Genevieve and Francine were the ones who actually got all the info so these guys could be arrested. But that has to remain hush-hush. :-) #thegoodguyswon #keepingtheinternetsafe

I'm so very fortunate to have amazing readers. I'm lucky, blessed, did I mention fortunate? The fabulous Teri Christensen sent me these (perfect) fingerless gloves and the scarf in the top left of the photo. Often my hands are cold when I'm writing - this is the perfect solution. Teri, thank you so much for the gift and for making sure my hands stay warm enough for uninterrupted writing!
