There is something magical about the Makhonjwa Mountains in the eastern part of South Africa. I love being here. It soothes my soul. These photos will show you why. (It was hard to post only a few photos - I wanted to post all of them, even though they look mostly the same. :-) )

This has been a fabulous week - visiting with loved ones; enjoying sunny, hot weather; eating all my favourite foods; working in coffee shops with marvelous views. Yup, it's been a good week. The week has also brought some changes - changes to book 7. I wrote a blogpost about it in case you're curious about the process.

If you're in the US, bracing for the snow storm - please, take care! Grab a book (or five), a mug of coffee and a snugly blanket to stay warm and safe. And check in to let us know you're still warm, safe and reading.

I thought this might be worth re-posting. If you read this post last year, ignore (or read again!). Everything I said is still true - maybe even more so now. :-)

I love visiting with you guys here! I never thought the words, "I enjoy Facebook' would *ever* pass my lips. But... it's true!
The sad thing is that Facebook is changing its rules from the beginning of next year - strong and severe changes for pages like mine. Even though I'll be posting, it will be extremely unlikely that you’ll see those posts unless you come directly to my page or you click on 'Get notifications' (like shown on the photo). But even clicking on those notifications is no guarantee that you'll see the oh-so-very important photos of the coffee shop I was working in, or life-changing update on the progress I'm making on the next book. :-D
I honestly don't want to lose the contact I have with you guys. It's made my writing-time so much richer. And I've met the most amazing people here - I now call you my reader-friends.
So... after a lot of deliberation and even emailing with Facebook, here is my visit-with-my-reader-friends plan for 2015:
1. Continue as always - post here on Facebook, wait to see how the changes in January will affect our Facebook visits before I make decisions and changes.
2. Re-post this post a few times to make sure everyone sees it and clicks on the lovely ‘Get notifications’ (please be patient if you see this post again).
3. Most importantly, I will become more active on my blog (https://estelleryanblog.wordpress.com/) – not for looooong in-depth articles, but mostly to post a quick update, photos, progress, thoughts and experiences. (I’ve been extremely bad with blogging, so it will be a good challenge for me to become more active there)
If you’re still reading, yay!! And thank you. You’re making my journey so much more special. :-)
