Start Counting the Bodies
We’re two episodes into season six of Sons of Anarchy and already the body count is getting pretty high–if you include the shocking school shooting in the first episode. Which I am, since a SAMCRO-sold gun was involved. Despite the high death count, episode two of the season never reached a full boil. It simmered, up until the last fifteen minutes or so. It is understandable. They raced out of the gate with the premiere. Now the writers are settling in for the long-haul. That’s the great thin...

Here, Have Some Food
Yes, I’m cheating for posts right now. It is creeping up on my busy season. Long-time readers know I spend October working at Hobb’s Grove, which boasts a trio of haunted attractions. It is fun, exhausting work. Getting my crap together in order to not get behind with writing work during haunt season takes from August through September. So yeah, cheating with posts for a little while.

The Boys are Back!
Unless you live under a rock with no cable access, you know that Sons of Anarchy is back for another season of hell-raising, biking riding, and more turmoil than you can shake a stick at. The season premiere pulled no punches.
Straight out of the gate, we know Jax’s mind isn’t steady. He’s torn, dealing with Tara being locked up and setting up Clay to take the fall for Pope’s death. How will it affect his children? He plans to tell them everything eventually. Is that a smart move? No. But he r...

I’ve Been Invaded!
In lieu of my usual babbling, I’m going to let my friend and fellow author Wendy Sparrow tell you a little bit about quirky writer habits. This is part of her blog hop forThe Teacher’s Vet. I read the novella earlier this week and totally fell in love with the quick humor . . . and puppies.
As part of the release celebration, Wendy is giving away an awesome necklace that I made. You’ll find the entry form at the bottom of this post.

Mixed Emotions
This week fellow author Skyla Dawn Cameron released this blog post, which goes into her ordeal with bipolar disorder, specifically over the last year.
I read it and wept. Silently. Alone. So no one would know just how much it affected me to see someone rising out of the depression.
And I’m starting to think my silence is part of my problem. Everyone knows I have a problem, I’m not exactly quiet in the phases where everything is too intense to cope and I snap. The rages I fly into over seemingly...

Podcast-Thingie : Drunken Ramblings
I didn’t want to write my True Blood review, so I drank a lot and recorded a podcast instead. Also covered: The 12th Doctor, Bates Motel, Breasts, and Cougars.
I slur a lot–that’s not all booze. My slight speech impediment gets out of control when I even just look at alcohol. Oh and I curse like a sailor. You’re welcome.
