Deva Cassel has re-emerged as the radiant face of Sisley’s fall-winter 2023 campaign. The campaign, titled “Burning Rose,” features Cassel captured in frames by photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti. Sharing the limelight with her is Luka Isaac, and together they embody the season’s sultry yet poised aesthetics.

Deva Cassel for Sisley Fall 2023 Campaign

Diving into the details of the Sisley fall 2023 campaign, the spotlight is unarguably on the season’s fashion staples: shearling jackets, form-fitting dresses, and a touch of daring animal prints.

These elements meld seamlessly with ankle boots, creating an ensemble that’s both on-trend and timeless. Helena Tejedor, the stylist for the campaign, orchestrates this chic vision, balancing elegance with an undercurrent of raw sensuality.

Though this isn’t Cassel’s first foray into the fashion limelight—she’s previously fronted the Dolce Violet fragrance campaign and graced the cover of Wonderland Magazine—her latest role in Sisley’s campaign confirms her evolving role in the fashion industry.

When it comes to beauty, John Nollet’s expertise in hairstyling shines through. Cassel’s dark brown tresses serve as a focal point, accentuating her features while syncing perfectly with the overall mood of the campaign. Makeup artist Letizia Carnevale also works on the model’s striking features.

New Jersey Mayor Ambushes James O’Keefe After He Outs School Board Officials For Calling Police on Citizens Who Look “Trumpish” (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Joseph Signorello, Mayor of Roselle Park, ambushed James O’Keefe after he outed school board officials who called the police on citizens who looked “Trumpish.”

“New Jersey Mayor and US Senate Candidate Michael Signorello asks me for a OMG hidden camera in an attempt to ambush me,” O’Keefe said on Sunday.

“He then claimed I didn’t have a right to be at the Roselle Park school board meeting since I don’t have kids in the district. The kicker? He doesn’t either!” James O’Keefe said.

O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released 20 minutes of police bodycam footage showing New Jersey school board officials calling the police on citizens they don’t recognize who look “Trumpish.”

“The police colluded with school officials to scan license plates of school board meeting attendees who looked different,” James O’Keefe said.

OMG obtained the recordings through FOIA requests.

This is the first in a series of police body cam recordings, James O’Keefe said.

Here’s what the school board officials and police really think of ‘Trumpish’ people when they forget the cameras are rolling.

On August 8, Livingston school board officials called the police on citizens because they didn’t recognize them.

“They’re different looking. Um, they look Trumpish. They look a little scary,” Toni McLaughlin, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent told the police officer.

McLaughlin and Officer Pancione compared journalists with O’Keefe Media Group to Antifa.

Officer Pancione is also heard on video saying he doesn’t answer to journalists. The school board colluded with the officer to target O’Keefe and his reporters.

The Livingston Police Department is conducting a review of Officer Pancione’s behavior.

65-Year-Old Woman Slashed Across Face in Random Attack in New York City – Female Suspect Arrested | The Gateway Pundit

suspect Ola Albanni

On Friday night, a 65-year-old woman was randomly attacked outside a New York City pizza shop.

The elderly woman was slashed across the face by a large kitchen knife.

The suspect, Ola Albanni, 52, of Hoboken, New Jersey was arrested on Sunday.

New York Post reported:

A New Jersey woman was arrested Sunday for allegedly slashing a bystander in the face with a kitchen knife in a seemingly random attack outside of a Manhattan pizza shop, police said.

Ola Albanni, 52, of Hoboken, NJ, was charged with the harrowing Friday evening attack in Midtown that left a 65-year-woman hospitalized with a gash under her eye, according to the NYPD.

Albanni allegedly approached the victim on the sidewalk outside 2 Bros Pizza on Eight Avenue and West 38th Street just after 6pm and slashed her across the face with “a large kitchen knife,” cops said.

The victim was treated at Mount Sinai Hospital and released.

Fox 5 also reported:

ABC 7 New York had also covered the story before the arrest:

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) — Police are searching for a woman wanted in an unprovoked slashing in Manhattan.

It happened in front of 2 Bros. Pizza on 8th Avenue near 38th Street in Midtown on Friday just after 6 p.m.

Police say the woman walked up to a 65-year-old woman and attacked her with a large kitchen knife.

The victim was left with a laceration under her left eye.

Major crimes and violent assaults have skyrocketed in New York City in 2023 thanks to Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies.

“There have been 18,260 people shot, struck, cut or otherwise injured by an attacker so far this year, compared to 11,321 felony assaults in 2010.” – the New York Post reported.

“This year’s tally represents a 30% increase over the 13,401 serious assaults in 2017, and a 5% spike, or 927 more felony assaults, than the 17,333 at this point last year, the data show.” The Post reported.

Biden Meets with Paltry Crowd in Live Oak, Florida For His Cheap Photo-Op After Surveying Hurricane Damage (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Joe and Jill Biden on Saturday reluctantly traveled to Live Oak, Florida to survey the damage from Hurricane Idalia.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis snubbed Biden and refused to meet up with him for his cheap photo-op.

Hurricane Idalia hit Florida’s west coast earlier this week as a Category 3 storm.

Biden showed up in Florida for a quick photo-op after major backlash for ignoring the Maui wildfires as he enjoyed back-to-back vacations.

After shuffling around, delivering a divisive speech, and ‘surveying’ some damage from the hurricane, Joe Biden greeted a very small group of people in Live Oak.

Most of the people who gathered to meet with Joe Biden were security, police or media personnel.

As usual, Joe Biden used this meeting as an opportunity to creep on the girls.

The news media made sure to pan in really close to Joe Biden to give the illusion that the crowd was much larger than it really was. As soon as the reporters were told to back away, the cameras panned out and the real size of the crowd was revealed to be way smaller. Maybe a couple of dozen people showed up to see the most popular president in US history.

This photo-op was a total waste of taxpayer money.

Google teams up with Nvidia as PlayStation Plus prices rise

It’s been a massive week in the technology world thanks to IFA 2023. You can check out all the best tech we’ve found in our Best in Show guide.

There’s been plenty to get excited about elsewhere too, with the launch of Starfield on Xbox and PC, as well as the first look at a new Mario edition of the Nintendo Switch.

But not everything has been sunshine and roses elsewhere in the tech world, as Sony steadily ticks up the price for its PlayStation Plus service.

Keep reading to find out our picks for the winner and loser of this week.

Nvidia GeForce NowWinner: Google and Nvidia

If you’re a Chromebook owner and want to take your gaming prowess to the next level, then you’ll be thrilled to hear about Google and Nvidia’s latest team up. Both companies are working together to offer eligible Chromebooks a three-month trial of Nvidia GeForce Now for free, which is available to access right now via the Chromebook Perks website, as reported by 9to5Google.

Not only that, but you will also be treated to the GeForce Now Priority tier, which usually costs £8.99 a month. This tier comes with priority access to the Premium Servers with reduced waiting times. Your gaming session can last up to six hours at up to a Full HD (1080p) resolution at 60fps.

We don’t know when this offer will end, but Google has clarified that this is a limited-time only perk. It’s also worth noting that your subscription will automatically roll over at the end of your free period unless the subscription is cancelled beforehand.

New PlayStation Plus teirs from SonyNew PlayStation Plus teirs from SonyLoser: PlayStation

In stark contrast to Google and Nvidia giving away memberships for free, Sony has announced that it will be increasing the price of its PlayStation Plus subscription for gamers

In a blog post, Sony claimed that the 12-month trial for the PS Plus Essential, Plus and Premium memberships would rise in price in the UK. The memberships will be going up by £10, £16 and £20 per year respectively, making the annual subscription a lot less affordable. You’ll soon need to pay £59.99/$79.99 for the base 12-month PlayStation Plus Essential subscription.

Thankfully, the one-month and three-month subscriptions will remain the same in price, so not all PlayStation gamers need to worry.

The price hike won’t be taking place until the next renewal date, meaning that you can still enjoy your membership at the same price until it ends. Any membership changes made on or after the 6th of September, including upgrades, downgrades or additional time, will reflect these new prices, so there is still some time to lock yourself in for another year at a reduced rate.

Parents Outraged After Teachers Union Tells Educators to Destroy Evidence of Student Surveys Regarding Gender Identity | The Gateway Pundit

Parents are outraged after a teachers union in Jefferson County, Colorado told teachers to destroy evidence of student surveys on gender identity.

The teachers union told educators to use pencil and paper instead of a digital survey so there would not be any trace of it after it was disposed of. They encouraged them to take notes on the answers they gave and not hold onto the surveys.

CBS Colorado Reported:

Some parents in Jefferson County say teachers are breaking state and federal laws and their union is helping them get away with it.

At issue are student surveys about gender identity. While the school district says it’s unclear whether surveys about students’ preferred pronouns are illegal, there are several lawsuits regarding the issue. So, administrators told teachers – just don’t go there.

The teachers union told them something else. An email from Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA) to teachers says, “if you do a questionnaire, please make it a paper and pencil activity – any digital records are more permanent and may be requested under federal law.”

The union also encouraged teachers to “make your notations about students and not hold on to the documents.”

Considering the intent of what the union told them, it’s evident that they are trying to hide information from the parents of these children. Personal information of that nature cannot be required from the school. In addition to that, they did not give time for parents to opt out. This was all around deception and highly unethical behavior on the part of the union and the educators who participated.

CBS Colorado: “Parents say teachers are breaking State and Federal laws and their union is helping them get away with it.” “What is the school district saying about this? That it warned teachers not to do these surveys.”

Even with the counsel of the school district, the union told them otherwise.

Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Oberlin College Defended Girls’ Sports and Was Subjected to Disciplinary Hearings (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Kim Russell is the head coach for women’s lacrosse at Oberlin College. Earlier this year, she defended girls’ sports by sharing something on social media.

Shortly after that, one of her own students brought this to the attention of her superiors and what followed was a series of Orwellian styruggle sessions where she was told that she is an awful person for thinking this way.

She was also instructed to write letters of apology to her students and the school, which she refused to do.

The Independent Women’s Forum is telling her story:

In Kim Russell’s memory, the room had dark energy. Chairs were set up in a circle, and she was at the epicenter. For nearly two hours, Russell, who has been Oberlin College’s head women’s lacrosse coach for five years, recalled feeling critiqued, crushed, and degraded by the condescending and censorious voices of colleagues, players, and friends.

This was one of a series of disciplinary meetings Oberlin College staff subjected Russell to after a post she shared on her personal Instagram account upset students and staff. The post congratulated Emma Weyant, now an Olympian swimmer, who had her first-place podium spot at the 2022 NCAA swimming championships taken from her by transgender-identifying swimmer Lia Thomas.

To protect herself, Russell recorded each meeting, which she believes she was legally entitled to do. Under Ohio law, it is legal to record oral conversations with only one-party consent.

“I was not just chastised,” Russell began, recounting what took place in an interview with Independent Women’s Forum. “I was burned at the stake. I was stoned. I was basically told I was a horrible person, and it was heartbreaking, really.”

Watch the video below, this is truly stunning:

Where are all of the people on the left who claim to care so much about women?

Kim Russell did nothing wrong. Good for her for standing up for girls in sports.

Staten Island Residents Are So Frustrated With Illegal Immigrants That They Want to Secede From New York City | The Gateway Pundit

People in Staten Island have had it with the steady flow of illegal immigrants into their community and calls are growing for the borough to secede and break away from New York City.

Staten Island is very different than other parts of New York. It is much more conservative than the other boroughs and has lots of Republicans and Trump supporters.

They don’t like how the problem is being handled by Mayor Adams. They see where this is going and they want no part of it.

Zero Hedge reports:

Calls Grow For Staten Island To Secede From NYC As Illegal Immigrant Crisis Escalates

Staten Island, long known as the forgotten borough, has often flirted with the idea of breaking off from the rest of the city. It has always been an outlier within the five boroughs, with a majority conservative Republican population that is often at odds with the rest of the city. Despite New York City’s status as a blue stronghold, the borough mostly voted for former President Donald Trump in 2020. However, in recent years, many residents have reached a breaking point over increases in crime and, more recently, the bussing of illegal immigrants into residential neighborhoods, according to Mr. Fossella.

“They dump these individuals into our neighborhoods and to my knowledge none of them have been vetted,” said Mr. Fossella.

“One of these migrant shelters is located directly across the street from two elementary schools and they just expect the people to take it. Why would we want to take that risk?

“The concern is legitimate. We are not as safe as we should be and the people are fed up.”…

The Staten Island battle for independence faces an uphill climb. Any chance of secession depends on the approval of both the New York City Council and the state Legislature. However, despite the long odds, a growing chorus of local officials are determined to keep fighting for the borough’s right to self-determination.

Here’s a clip of Representative Nicole Malliotakis talking about this:

“If you’re not gonna do your job, Mayor, then let Staten Island secede” Representative Nicole Malliotakis speaks at today’s protest against a new migrant shelter in New York pic.twitter.com/I4UJbdqNg9

Who can blame people for feeling this way?
