Trump’s DOJ Goes to War Against Race-Based Voting: Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon and Solicitor General John Sauer Argue Before Supreme Court to ABOLISH Rigged Voting Rights Act Districts | The Gateway Pundit
In a landmark case that could reshape American elections for decades, President Trump’s Department of Justice, through Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon and Solicitor General John Sauer, told the U.S. Supreme Court that race-based congressional districts must end once and for all.
The case, State of Louisiana v. Phillip Callais (and the related Press Robinson v. Phillip Callais), stems from Louisiana’s woke lawmakers caving to left-wing judges and creating a second “majority-minority” congressional district.
The brief was unambiguous: the Voting Rights Act (VRA) cannot be twisted into a tool for perpetual racial gerrymandering.
“Today at SCOTUS, the [DOJ Civil Rights Division] told the Justices that Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act cannot constitutionally require race-predominant districting!” Dhillon wrote on X.

Straight from the pages of the DOJ’s filing: “Section 2 does not provide a compelling interest to draw districts where race predominates.”
The brief rips apart the outdated “Gingles framework” from the 1986 Thornburg v. Gingles case, which radical courts have twisted to force states into drawing these race-obsessed districts.
Sauer and company point out that lower courts have been “repeatedly” misinterpreting this to mandate racial gerrymanders, even when there’s ZERO evidence of actual discrimination.
“Lower courts have repeatedly interpreted this Court’s framework… to require States to draw district lines where race predominates over neutral districting principles as a remedy for perceived violations of Section 2’s “results” test,” the brief states.
And get this, they argue this turns the VRA into a tool that “decouple the statute from its function of smoking out voting practices and procedures that are likely intentionally discriminatory and would instead effectively compel racial gerrymanders. While that likely would have been unconstitutional even when the “results” test was enacted in 1982, its unconstitutionality is even clearer today. Current voting conditions cannot justify such excessive consideration of race.”
Democrats and activist judges have been using Section 2 of the VRA as a weapon to create “phantom statutory violations,” forcing states like Louisiana to violate the Constitution just to appease the race hustlers.
The DOJ calls for a major overhaul: Modify Gingles to align with the actual text of the law and avoid these “fatal constitutional problems.”

The Department of Justice indicted James Comey on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice.
To his credit, James Comey refrained from posting another death threat to President Trump following his arrest.

Comey lashed out at President Trump after a grand jury returned a two-count indictment on Thursday evening.
“My family and I have known for years that there are costs to standing up to Donald Trump, but we couldn’t imagine ourselves living any other way,” a visibly rattled Comey said in a video posted to social media.

Conservative Talk Host Matt Walsh Asks a Million Dollar Question – What if the Parties Were Reversed Over the Last Two Weeks? | The Gateway Pundit
Conservative talk host Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire has just performed a fascinating thought experiment. What would happen if the parties were reversed over the course of the last two weeks? Would things have played out differently?
You better believe they would have.
Walsh really puts it into perspective here. He broke it all down in a lengthy post on Twitter/X that has been viewed millions of times.

Imagine that we have a Democrat administration. Now imagine that a right wing radical shot and killed one of the most influential liberals in the country on live TV. Now imagine that thousands of other conservatives shamelessly celebrated the assassination and called for more of them. Now imagine that in the same week another right winger shot up a country club while shouting “MAGA” and another one shot up a news station and left behind a manifesto complaining about liberal bias in the media.
Now imagine that a week after all of those attacks, a conservative sniper perched on a rooftop fired into a Planned Parenthood clinic, killing or injuring multiple people. And imagine that this Planned Parenthood attack was just the latest in a string of them stretching back several months.
Is there any doubt how the Democrats would respond? Is there any doubt that they would wage a full scale war on conservatives and have people like me frog marched in front of cameras in handcuffs and leg irons? Is there any doubt that they would declare martial law and label all right wing expression incitement? Is there any doubt that they would be rounding up conservatives by the bus load and shipping us to Gitmo?
Is there any doubt that they would have Fox News and every other conservative media company shut down and its executives arrested or sued into bankruptcy?
Walsh goes on to explain that he is not even advocating for the right to do what the left would do, but that he does want the Trump administration to act in order to save lives.

Back in 1975, a radical leftist from San Francisco named Sara Jane Moore tried to shoot Republican President Gerald Ford. Luckily, she missed and was caught. She was tried, convicted and sent to prison for life.
Eventually, many years later, she was freed on parole, but no one ever forgot who she was or what she tried to do.
She died this week at age 95.

Sara Jane Moore, Would-Be Assassin of President Ford, Dies at 95
Sara Jane Moore, the middle-aged radical and mother of four who fired two errant shots at President Gerald R. Ford outside the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco on Sept. 22, 1975, with a vague notion of igniting a leftist revolution in America, died on Wednesday at a nursing home in Franklin, Tenn. She was 95.
Demetria Kalodimos, a reporter for The Nashville Banner who had developed a friendship with Ms. Moore, confirmed the death, which was first reported by The Banner.
Ms. Moore’s attempt to kill Mr. Ford occurred only 17 days after another would-be assassin, Lynette (Squeaky) Fromme, a follower of the cult leader Charles Manson, pointed a gun at the president in a crowd at Sacramento but was seized before she could fire.
In San Francisco, about 3,000 people were gathered near Union Square for a glimpse of the president as he left the St. Francis Hotel. Ms. Moore, 45, who had been questioned by Secret Service agents the day before but then released, was standing across the street, 40 to 50 feet away from the commander in chief. She drew a chrome-plated .38-caliber revolver and fired at the president. The shot missed, and she raised the gun for a second shot.
Oliver W. Sipple, a former Marine, deflected the gun just as she fired. The bullet narrowly missed the president, ricocheted off a wall and grazed a bystander. Pandemonium erupted as Mr. Ford, unhurt, was hustled into a limousine by Secret Service agents and sped away. Mr. Sipple and two police officers seized Ms. Moore.
Ten years ago, CNN interviewed Sara Jane Moore and host Alisyn Camerota asked her why she did it. Her answers are eerily similar to what is happening in the country today. Watch:

Actor William Shatner has spoken out to “correct” reports that he experienced a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital.
On Thursday, TMZ reported Shatner was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency.
In the report TMZ shared emergency medical crews arrived at his home on Wednesday and the Star Trek star was trsnported to a local hospital by a LAFD ambulance.
The reported noted, Shatner’s agent, Harry Gold, confirmed the actor had a medical episode after having issue with his blood sugar.
Shatner in a post on Instragm has addressed the reports and wrote, “Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.”
He added, “I over indulged. I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine.”

Rumors about Shatner’s health scare circulated on social media Thursday after TMZ reported that the “T.J. Hooker” star was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency. The outlet reported Shatner’s agent, Harry Gold, said the actor had an issue with his blood sugar while at his Los Angeles home late Wednesday afternoon.
In an interview in 2024, Shatner revealed a doctor told him him he had only five months to live after being diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma but against all odds he was able to beat the cancer..
William Shatner is currently 94 years old.

The New Jersey gubernatorial race is currently a dead heat, according to the latest Emerson poll.
Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democratic Mikie Sherril are currently tied at 34 percent.

The poll’s results were explained by Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling:
The first Emerson College general election survey of New Jersey’s 2025 election for Governor reveals a tightly contested race in the Garden State. Young voters, under 40, break for Sherrill by large margins, 58% to 24%.
The race tightens to seven points among voters in their 40s, with Sherrill leading 47% to 40%, then Ciattarelli flips the script among voters over 50, leading Sherrill 52% to 36% among this group.
A stark gender divide also emerges among Garden State voters: women break for Sherrill by ten points, 46% to 36%, while men break for Ciattarelli by 12 points, 51% to 39%.
Notably, women are over twice as likely to be undecided at 15% compared to 6% of men.
Both President Trump and Governor Murphy are underwater among Jersey voters. Sherrill is trying to tie Ciattarelli to Trump, at the national level, and Ciattarelli is trying to tie Sherrill to Murphy and the cost of living at the state level.
Conservative activist Scott Presler is urging the Republican grassroots to try and push Ciattarelli over the line.

If you pay attention to politics at all, you know there is a running gag about Kamala Harris being a massive lush. Whether it is true or not, sometimes she just sounds drunk when she is talking.
At WPHT Radio in Philadelphia, one of the on-air hosts decided to see what it would sound like if he slowed down a recording of her reading her book by 30 percent and the results are comedy gold.
The clip has been making the rounds on various social media platforms.

On a much lighter note, however, on Tuesday, a talk radio show out of Philadelphia brilliantly played a snippet of Harris’ book, albeit slowed down. The result was hilarious, and it certainly sounded as if Harris were drunk. The way her words get draaaaaaaaawn out is usually a tell-tale sign of inebriation.
Back in July, Harris posted a TikTok in which she claimed she had not been slinging adult beverages during her absence from the public eye.
“Everyone thinks you’ve been kicking back, drinking margaritas on the beach, but really you’ve been hard at work writing a book, meeting with leaders, thinking about the future of our country,” Harris said, a reference to a dorky TikTok trend at that time in which participants turn their heads away from the camera, concealing their mouths while delivering audacious statements…
Of course, she probably wasn’t drunk during the recording; however, it wouldn’t shock me if she was. I also wouldn’t blame her. The ghostwritten book seems so bad that you almost have to be drunk reading it; otherwise, the experience would be akin to something like torture.

“Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted on two of three counts sought by prosecutors — one count of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice — just days after President Donald Trump issued a public demand for his Justice Department to act “now” to bring prosecutions against Comey and other political foes, according to sources,” ABC News reported.

The New York Times confirmed Troy Edwards resigned to “uphold his duty to the Constitution and country.”
NEWS: EDVA prosecutor Troy Edwards, James Comey’s son-in-law, resigned after the ex-FBI director was charged over objections of career attorneys.
Edwards, who helped prosecute January 6 rioters, said he left to “uphold his duty to the Constitution and country,” in an email.

There should be no question who the “good guys” are in America politics after the last few weeks.
In the latest example in a growing spree of radical left terrorist attacks, chaos, and violence, a man threatened to drive his truck through a Charlie Kirk prayer vigil.
The Gateway Pundit reported,
A San Antonio man has been arrested for making a terroristic threat against the University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk.
Xaelyn Dunbar, 19, was arrested after he posted on Facebook that he intended to use a Ford 250 diesel truck to run down the people gathered to mourn the assassination of Kirk.
According to the arrest affidavit, Dunbar wrote, “This is a disgrace and I can tell you right now ima make sure this won’t be a good nor comforting vigil yall watch and see.”
Dunbar escalated the threat by adding, “You’ll see tmr I jus wouldn’t advise tryna stop a ford 250 Diesel truck. Show yall how much Charlie really means.”
These posts prompted authorities to conduct a welfare check at Dunbar’s San Antonio home, leading to his swift arrest.
During questioning, Dunbar reportedly admitted to the posts, telling police he was simply “being dumb” and “clowning around.”
When asked by law enforcement if the comments were worth the trouble he is now in, Dunbar said, “if that’s what it takes, I did what I did and I can take the consequences,” according to a report from KSAT.
After the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk, the attempted fire bombing of a Fox News van, the attacks on prayer vigils, and the radical leftwing attack on the ICE facility the truth cannot be avoided. Total crickets from the radical left.
For anyone who has not yet realized who the “good guys” are, it should be very clear now.
