Sherlock is definitely not in pain here. That’s not pain on his face in the third and fourth gifs. He’s just… concentrating. Violin is hard. And even glimpsed through the flames of hell candlelight, he looks perfectly happy to me. He’s so happy that John married Mary. So very, very happy.

Most fics have it but not all–not sure why. When I open a fic it is one of the tabs up with Bookmark, Download, etc. The way I access them is to go to my History and then choose Marked for Later. Maybe I should move them all to Bookmarked…

It’s at the top of a fic in the line of options sandwiched between “Bookmark” and “comments”

Ah! So it is! Okay, yeah, in that case it doesn’t count as a bookmark, hectocotylus1! (No worries, though!) :P The private bookmarks and the recs both do, but not that. :)

I think “mark for later” shows up in the bookmark count, but creating a bookmark will show up in an author’s list and has the options for the marker to write a description. I use MfL when I want to read a fic later. Bookmark is: this is my life now.

Ok, but where do you get that option? I can’t see it! (Halllp… also I’m going to work now and won’t be home for like 30 hours so don’t mind me if I don’t respond until the middle of the night, lol)

First of all, congrats on reaching 1000! My question is this: I am still a little confused on what the difference is between the “mark for later” option vs. the “bookmark” option. I’ve been using “mark for later” :/

Whooo! I’ve been waiting for this day for awhile now! Best of Three just became my first story to reach 1,000 bookmarks! Don’t ask me why, but I get way more excited about bookmarks than kudos, so this is particularly exciting! This is a screen cap of my stats page - this is the number including the private bookmarks that don’t show on the public page. :) Thank you to all of you who left BoT a bookmark (or a comment or a kudos!) at some point!!!!

How do you do it? I mean, you're a wonderfully prolific writer (which is fab news for the likes of me who soaks up every word) but your imagination must be tireless! I love that you always have something new to write, it's amazing. My fics are tiny in comp

You nice thing! :) I don’t really know, to be honest. I’m well aware that it’s weird. I’ve been in writing groups where people actually got hostile over my weekly word counts. What can one do, though? Every person has their own way of doing things and their own stories to tell. I guess I do have a rather overactive imagination. That’s one of the reasons I don’t take requests - I literally can’t keep up with my own fic ideas as it is! I have two in the queue that are planned out and just waiting for me to have the time to write them out, plus I’m also working on chapter 7 of the novel these days. I don’t think, and this is important to say, that it’s a question of QUALITY. It’s just a thing, like how tall you are. I’m very short (5′4″!) but apparently I’m just a person with a lot of words. It’s not about leagues. It’s just a thing. :)
