No, this is the pizza guy “subtly” throwing shade at you for ordering pizza all alone. On the surface he’s “pretending” to see your boyfriend or whatever in the background, but the sting is meant to be that he knows very well that you’re all alone. This is what high school bullies turn into: pizza delivery boy bullies who think they’re being all clever when it’s completely transparent. I know this breed, trust me.
