Ui, just saw it. I’m sure you’re doing fine on both counts. I’m looking forward to reading all the stories. :D
:) You nice thing! I’m now 4,200 words into the AGRA threequel, if I may. :P

LOL I might be wrong, but aren’t you mostly working on one story? How long are they both going to be (ch 7 vs fic)? I’d choose the one I’d be more eager to write. And yes, I could try to be a nag-friend, but having fun while writing comes frist. <3
I’m not sure what you mean exactly? I said that I was going to finish chapter 7 before writing any more fic, but if I really am getting chapter 7 finished, then taking breaks to write something else is okay. That’s how I’m justifying this. I just don’t want the novel to be on hold while I only write fanfic. :P And you don’t have to nag, don’t worry. :P

500 words in. :D Does that mean chapter 7 of the original novel is finished? Or am I a bad friend for asking obnoxious questions?
No, I need nag-friends! :P I’m working on them simultaneously!! :D

So: The A.G.R.A Complex and Having Your Cake are now locked, accessible to ao3 account holders only - at least for the time being. I’m 500 words into the third part. If you are still without an account and would like to have one, the lovely johnlockismyreligion has an invite to spare and says to send her a message if you’d like to have it. <33333
Editing to add: ireneadler32 says she also has invitations to share! Yay, thanks everyone who’s volunteering their invites! This is what fandom is supposed to be all about! :)

Sherlock’s treatment of John in s3 is an active rejection of the concept of the friend zone. Sherlock is willing to do everything for John, but he doesn’t expect John to fall in love with him because of this. Sherlock abandons his work for John. He puts his life on hold for John. He throws himself headfirst into a fire for John. But he doesn’t think that his sacrifice and devotion mean that John owes him gratitude in the form of romantic love. Or in any form. Does he ever suggest that John is ungrateful? Does he ever balk at doing anything for John?
You know who does think John owes her romantic love? Mary. Mary is willing to murder in order to preserve her romantic relationship with John. A relationship that is founded on a mountain of lies. She acts like John owes himself to her right from the first time we meet her, “I agree. I’m the best thing that could have happened to you.”
And yet what have we seen her do for John’s sole benefit? One single sacrifice? When has she made John happy? Made him laugh? Does he take comfort and pleasure from her presence? Does she do anything at all to encourage him to do so? But she still acts like she owns him.
What an amazing contrast moftiss has provided for us. Sherlock does everything for John and asks for nothing in return. Mary does nothing for John and demands his whole life.
