I love it when Sherlock has to look away to hide his smiles from John. Like he doesn’t even care about the getting arrested part at all, not if John’s there with him. :))))

Sherlock: Are you all right?

Sherlock: Are you all right?

John: Yes, course I’m all right.

Sherlock: Well, you have just killed your wife.

John: Yes, I ...

John: That’s true.

John: But she wasn’t a very nice wife.

Sherlock: No. No, she wasn’t really, was she?

John: And frankly a bloody awful baker.

Sherlock: That’s true. She was a bad baker. Should have seen the bread she baked me for Christmas!

I just read your post about how you're working on your novel and once again I am very excited about it. I know it will be amazing just based on the incredible fan fics you have written. You will be a hell of a novelist and so many people are going to be a

Hey, lovely! It’s been awhile! Thank you for this! Somehow I find that working on this huge, original work (or mostly original?) is so much more challenging in terms of motivation. With fanfic, there’s always the instant response, the feedback that literally feeds you and keeps you going. With this, I have a small handful of people who are reading along with me, but it’s still different! I’m over 82,000 words now and I feel cautiously hopeful about how it’s going and that I will get it finished one day. Who even knows if it has any chance of being published? That’s going to be a whole other struggle, and I’m not even going to think about it until once it’s finished!

So thank you so much for this incredible encouragement, you sweetheart! It helps more than I can tell you!
