whenever yall are like “Sherlock has never cried” I’m launched into remembering that time when they’re at CAM’s and Sherlock fucked up and John is like “ is there a plan. Sherlock” and Sherlock is just standing there, looking ahead into a white room, crying, in total fucking pieces , not saying anything, and honestly I hate that yall make me relive that shit

Sherlock is always crying.  He cried when Soo Lin was talking about her brother at the museum in TBB.  He cried on the rooftop in TRF when he was saying good-bye to john.  He cried in TEH, when he was racing to save John from the bonfire, and then again when he was begging John’s forgiveness in the train car.  He cried on stag night in TSoT, when Tessa was talking about being abandoned without explanation by the Mayfly Man.  And then yes, he cried again on HLV when he didn’t have a plan.  And I know there are times he’s teared up that I am missing here.

He’s just a very teary person, in general.  He holds so much in, that his body just involuntarily resorts to tears when it hits overload point, which is a lot, because for all those attempts at a brilliant, cool, heartless exterior, Sherlock really is so soft and hyper-sensitive at his centre.

Also, the tears on his face when his plane left the tarmac.

Yes!!  Thanks.  I knew I was forgetting some.

Oh poor Sherlock. He just needs love from John.
