Some days are great. 

Other days, you sleep through your alarm and don’t have time to work out, it’s -30 C when you leave for work, your boss lets a previous presentation cut into your time, then interrupts and undermines yours as you go, then your body betrays you with a surprise early arrival of ladymoontime precisely when you’re out of advil, then your dinner plans fall through and you walk home through a blustering blizzard (still -30 C!) and decide to go and work out after all, even though you vastly prefer doing it in the morning, only to find some gym bro in your building’s gym, who decides to film you lifting weights on his phone, because he is, in fact, a Creep (™). So then you go back home and discover that your newly-purchased and not-yet-figured-out music writing software is missing certain key buttons, like the one for creating tied notes, which makes writing/arranging the cello part you have limited time to create rather frustrating…. in short, this day can go and fuck itself. 

On the plus side: my cellist for whom I’m writing the aforementioned cello part didn’t back out of my Valentine’s Day concert after all, which he had said he might do, so there’s that. And my beloved story The Wisteria Tree has gotten a bit more attention since its 20,000 hits birthday last yesterday, and someone new has been discovering and commenting on Rebuilding Rome today, so that’s cool. :) There’s always a silver lining. Plus my colleagues thought that our boss was a jerk to me today and were sympathetic about it, which is always nice in the sense of knowing that it’s not just me overreacting, you know? Anyway… time for bed and a new day. Hope your Wednesdays went better! <3

I had a lead role, and we began dating during the play. When the play ended, she dumped me. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this equation: I had to get more leads.

Actually what I always noticed in this scene is the way Vader paused, turns and points at Boba with the emphasis on No disintegrations. Like, you know there’s history there. What happened to the last guy Boba went to fetch?? Just going out on a limb, but I’m guessing he ended up disintegrated. Yet Vader hires him again… truly he is more forgiving than the Emperor.

That time Boba just turned in a pile of ash to collect a bounty because fuck it who’s gonna know?

Boba Fett, famed and fearsome bounty hunter, crouched over his fire place with a dustpan and broom. He doesn’t even own a disintegrator.
