Honestly, 1917 was such a weird movie. Two characters that you have zero reason to care about and are given 0.02% backstory on, going on what sounds like a pointlessly death-y mission punctuated by incredible acting cameos by Extremely Well-Established Actors and which were by far the highlights of the movie. Blah blah single action shot, don’t care. The cameos were the best part, and this line was my favourite in the entire movie. Lol.
