After the day I’ve had, this little nugget of awesome was greatly needed!

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that your day was so rough! I’m also sorry that I’m not able to just sit down and write for a solid 24 hours - that’s all it would take to get this story done, but I never have more than 40 minutes or so at a time these days! The story is all there, pushing to get out and be written down, but my bloody schedule is just SO FULL right now! It will improve after this weekend and go back to “only” being overly full. I have a full-time job and a part-time job, and then there’s all this stuff I do on the side which makes me actually live, and I don’t want to give that stuff up, you know? But sometimes it’s just all too much. That said: last weekend I taught a workshop on top of my other stuff, the week before that, I gave a presentation to my colleagues on the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the Armenian Genocide, and its links to modern-day Syria, and then this Friday, I’m giving a full-length solo concert (I’m a classical singer), so this week is full of that. Once this last big thing is done, my regular schedule will resume and I’ll actually have bigger patches of time again, and should be able to finish this fic within about a week of the concert, I’m estimating! That was a long-winded way (you know me, lol) of saying that FIC IS COMING, so hang in there!! Meanwhile, I hope you’re having a better day today! <3333333333333333333
