We all put a lot of thought into his outfits. I get to wear very well-cut, good-looking suits although there’s so little waist that sometimes I can’t breathe or digest properly. The sad thing is that I had a coat very similar to Sherlock’s before I got the role – it was a present from someone – but I can’t wear it out in public now, which is sad.

- Benedict Cumberbatch

I feel like it’s time for a good reminder of these poor buttons.

I for one have always been an avid supporter of the plight of these hardworking buttons and still believe they deserve some rest @annecumberbatch @silentauroriamthereal @totallysilvergirl @jobooksncoffee @jolieblack

What they truly need, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, is for John to gently ease them from their strained, nearly-tearing button holes, undo the sleeve buttons, and slip these poor shirts off all the way. To rest. And then the pants. The pants need to rest as well. And everything else.

anexperimentallife:

If Native folks are making it to sell to white people with the approval of their tribe, it’s not “appropriation”–its support and appreciation! So yes, buy that native-made dream catcher, but not the mass produced fakes made by white people. Like, you can go to a pow wow and buy native crafts there, too.

davidlieberman:

white people please just purchase native artwork and jewelry from native people i keep seeing idiot white people be like “waaah i wish i could support native creators but its cultural appropriation” girl why would beaders sell you their earrings then. just dont get a medicine wheel or a thunderbird then like damn it is that easy

This. All of this.

Dressing up as an indigenous stereotype for halloween? Bad. Supporting indigenous artisans and artists by buying and wearing and publicizing their work? Good.

ATROTW is one of my most favorite fics of yours, and everything else I’ve read from you is superb. Gotta read the new one (it’ll happen, I’m a bit busy with a writing challenge atm so after that) and yay for the next fic already in the works. Hope you have a good day

This made my day!! :))) Thank you! And no rush on the new one, whatsoever - it’s not going anywhere (I hope!). :) Happy writing, meanwhile! xx
