There is that rumour…okay, okay, it’s true. Don’t torture me with that fluffy unicorn; I’ll want it or something! Yes, I write lovely BDSM and I have my own collection of floggers. My lovely male in my life allows me to practice on him so I can get the techniques down just so in my books. When I’m asked what I write, I tell people that if you enjoy books like “Fifty Shades” or if you love “Game of Thrones,” you’ll enjoy my stories—though there are less deaths—at least for now. *grins evilly* I’ve been known to toss some psychotic killers in my stories with the smoking hot romances just to up the stakes and to see how the characters handle the pressure. Especially when they’re forced to deal with their attraction in certain unique situations.

>> Where were you on the night Colonel PeaCOCK, got laid with the candlestick (that’s California talk for boytoy) in the billiards room?

Oh, I see you know about this. *grins* Since that was the night I was allowed to enjoy myself with my flogger, my handcuffs, and the strap-on—I think I was the one on top having some serious fun. Being a switch means occasionally, I get to be the major dominant. That weekend was so my turn. Of course, it’s not easy when you’re wearing a purple strap-on. But purple IS my colour!

>> Everyone knows I’m a rule breaker. And for me Fantasy is a huge format to explore that. However, for some writers they can’t bring themselves to break some Taboos, out of fear, it will act as a reflection of their real life. What about you? What are some of the Taboos you just find irresistible in the fiction world. Are there some Taboos you won’t venture into, even in the fantasy world?

I love breaking taboos. Sometimes because we perceive them as taboos only because it’s repeated over and over again, when in reality it’s not as clear. As a writer, I get a chance to set matters a bit more clearly- letting people decide for themselves if a matter such as polyamory or sexual slaves, like the heitara in my upcoming book, Pirate Queen’s Rebellion, are truly taboo—or do a favour to society as a whole. Heitara I enjoy—because to me, there are reasons for having prostitution—but in our world and in fictional worlds, but that’s from tons of research in the historical perspective and in this day and age. Some shun from such things- but for the writer in me, I see how the topic can be used to showcase it in a beautiful way to bring not only joy, but also knowledge of how things could be—for everyone. It won’t make it easier for some people to understand, but my goal is showcase how some people can and do fantasize about participating in that fantasy aspect.

>> If you could truly escape the everyday life and live inside one of your books, which one would it be and what character would you play?

I’d have to say I’d love to be part of my Pirate Queen’s Rebellion book. Or in the P3 universe where Porn is a part of life and considered a healthy part of society and not looked down upon anymore. Either universe would be absolutely fun to live in, especially as I’ve finished one book and have been living in the other right now. If I was in Pirate Queen’s Rebellion—I’d be Lady Alexa Vandercruys. I love her. She is smart, protective of the people she cares for, and as a dominant, she knows what she wants and demands it. She’s exciting and inspiring.

In the P3 universe I’ve been in—Trina Edwards would be the sister I’d want to be. I’ve just finished the second book in the series and honestly, her story is the only one left to do—and part of me wonders just how much trouble she’s in for setting up her sisters to find love? There’s something erotic knowing that others are going to put you through your paces sexually and emotionally, helping you to find love—especially when they’ve done all the work for you. In the P3 world, that’s part of how things are accomplished. It’s not perfect, but it’s close. So, being her, it would be a thrilling ride to see who her sisters choose to be her hero—especially as Trina doesn’t easily bow to any man.

>> If life is like a box of chocolates, what flavor is your favorite book?

Chocolate truffles with a hint of mint. I love the flavour and the smoothness of the truffles themselves. Hand me the box and I promise no one will be flogged. *taps flogger against thigh*

>> You just finished a hard writing crunch and well… you’d probably be feeling good if it weren’t for the fact your eyes are cross-eyed, your fingers ache, your wrist feels like it’s on backwards and your butt feels like a flat tire. What’s your secret weapon for unwinding from all that?

My weapon against that is walking with my Siberian, Shango. That’s followed by a massage from my male and some hot sex. Then sleep. A lot of sleep—we’re talking a good ten hours. I’m normally wiped out by that point. I need my recovery from pouring out all that emotion and words. Plus, my poor fingers are tired! *grins*

>> Okay, hypothetically speaking (for book research of course) what is your favorite sexual position or sex-play? (Remember, this is purely hypothetical)

Well, if I’m being topped—then flat on my back at the end of the bed having my brains fucked out while my legs are over his shoulders. *sighs happily* If I’m topping him—then I’m flogging his lovely ass and riding him from behind. He does have such a nice ass. He does and I love to take advantage of it when I can!

>> Fact or Fiction: Tell us the craziest place, timing or position you… errr… your characters have ever done it. And then tell us the real truth…

In Cupid Shoots, She Scores—there is a great scene where the Domme really takes on both male lovers, who are lovers to each other as well. She has them arouse each other then fucks them both at the same time with a specially created strap-on that has two cocks that separate to each into each of them. I still get tickled thinking about it!

The real truth—the first time I ever used a strap-on, I was terrified I might hurt the guy in question. He kept begging me to go harder. >> As an author of erotica, do you find you are more of a sex expert then say, some talk show sex experts? And could you give us a sample of advice?

Sometimes yes, sometimes, no. I think because I also am involved in BDSM, that puts me in a better position than many of the sex experts because I can talk about what it means to be part of the power exchange between a dominant and a submissive. More importantly, I know what it feels to be in subspace. I actively talk about sex and sexual practices on my website because sometimes—people look to the talk show experts and wonder how much practical experience they bring to the table. Whereas with me—I talk to the makers of sex toys, I go to my friends- straight and gay, and ask questions. I ask my friends who are skinny and the BBW and BBM about how sex toys help them. Then I share the information with my readers. Why? Because many times—it’s what we want to know, but sometimes are afraid to ask others. Am I more of an expert? Maybe. It’s one of the things I wanted to get my degree in—Sexual Health. I still might do it in time.

>> I spend so much time at home writing, I hardly ever get out of the house. So my characters are my closest friends. Has your family caught on to the fact that when you talk about so and so at the dinner table that it’s really just one of your characters and not the guy next door?

Oh yeah. My poor fiancé has gotten to the point he just asks, “Is this a character or a real person?” I sometimes stop and will go, “What makes you think they’re not real?” It’s definitely a free for all after that point. *grins*

Whether it be a song, a book, a movie, something someone said or you just happened to be lucky as hell to have witnessed something. What’s the craziest thing you ever came cross that spurred you head long into a new story? And where is it hiding now?

*grins* Yes….there are many things. Pirate Queen’s Rebellion was actually inspired by my male’s sexual fantasy. But since I was determined not to write a Victorian novel, I changed it up and made it so it was in outer space and it grew. OMG, it grew. There is another story hiding on my hard drive right now that’s based on the Queen song, “Killer Queen.” It’s been in my mind since I was a kid. I’ve had these visions on how this story would play out—but the chorus visions have always been the same. Finally, last year—the story finally came to me. That’s my goal for next year- finish the story.

The craziest spurring for a story—the ultimate Christmas ever. You’d think it would be wine, roses, awesome gifts—no—it ends up on a luxurious sex island with a killer. Yeah—go figure that one out. But there you have it—the story I’m finishing now deals with the ultimate Christmas on a sex island with a killer trying to kill the heroine is a dominant with everyone but the man she truly loves and the hero is nothing but a true Dom. Crazy, but there it is. I’m still in shock over it myself.

Are you sure the shackles are entirely necessary? Fine, at least they’re soft and fuzzy. I am a writer of many naughty stories featuring vampires to bodyguards to succubi, and demons from another world. I’ve written The Kategan Alphas series which is a six-book, addictive series featuring my own take on werewolves that I call lykaens.

Then there’s The Bellum Sisters series, which is not quite finished yet. The Bellum Sisters is a grandiose, fun, and very erotic stories featuring 3 succubus sisters who are given to 3 unique men: the vampire, the shapeshifter, and the demon. What ensues next is simply chaos and hilarious. I also have numerous more erotic titles which explore love, passion, fun, and struggle.

*ahem* About that. I may or may not have been indisposed at the time. See it was my husband’s birthday and I had promised him I would– [*internet cuts out*]–so by time we finished Colonel PeaCOCK was already laid. There was simply nothing I could do.

I love writing paranormal worlds because they are my own personal fantasy. With that kind of power I’m able to construct the exact style of worlds I want. I am a risk-taker. I am a rebel. I do not do things because other people do them or say I should. Since I was young I’ve always had the mindset to be my own person and do what I want—within sound reason. Ha! I have broken all kinds of rules, and as an Indie author I love it.

In The Bellum Sisters series I have several books which delve into several other secondary couples throughout the books. We see them met, fall in love, get together (or not) in the span of books as a subplot. If my books were published at a traditional publishing house they would have made me cut those added scenes. But I chose to leave those in even though I knew they weren’t pertinent to the main plot. I left them because I still feel these secondary characters needed their story to be told and that it would satisfy readers in the long-run. I believe that I absolutely succeeded in doing that according to readers’ responses from the books. I don’t know if I’d ever be brave enough to do this again though.

>> If you could truly escape the everyday life and live inside one of your books, which one would it be and what character would you play?

I would escape into The Bellum Sisters world to live as Lily Bellum with her amazing demon mate Telal Demuzi. *sigh* He’s golden-skinned with vibrant blue eyes. She had to really break him down—long story—and I think that when he ultimately caved to loving her was perfection. I would be with them. Their love is so true and very hard-earned! Did I mention I might want to try sexy times with Telal?

>> If life is like a box of chocolates, what flavor is your favorite book?

Warm with a creamy center? LOL No, seriously, it’d be spicy, gut-wrenching, exciting….wait are any of these things relatable to chocolate anymore?

Getting the hell away from the computer. Just leaving it all alone to get cold for a while. I leave the book safely unattended on my laptop while I relax, take a bath, make a nice dinner (or go out to a nice dinner), and hang out with my cats and/or hubby. Ah, it sounds so perfect I want to do it right now, but it’s only 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday. *sigh* And I haven’t done any work to earn that yet.

My favorite has been and might always be missionary. Missionary gets this stamp of old-person-sex-boring but it’s really not. Or at least it doesn’t have to be. It can be quite incredible.

I’ve had characters intimate in driving cars, in front of other viewers, while engaged to married to another person and all kinds of fun, crazy stuff. The first part of that is true.

It’s called T. A. Grey’s Alpha Squad which is my street team and a place for those who are addicted to my books. It’s pretty awesome not gonna lie.

>> As an author of erotica, do you find you are more of a sex expert then say, some talk show sex experts? And could you give us a sample of advice?

I am nowhere on par to Dr. Ruth the sex expert. I have taken human sexuality courses in college and read tons of information on the subject, as well as my own personal influences. My advice would be: if you don’t want to get pregnant make sure you treat each sexual encounter as if this one might be the baby maker.

Oh absolutely. My husband knows all about my books. I dish all to him, especially at the dinner table! What’s fantastic is he takes me (somewhat) seriously and totally gets that I have book boyfriends.

I got the idea for The Loneliest Alpha, especially the hero of that tale Gavin MacKellen, a scarred and lonely lykaen alpha, from watching LAWLESS starring Tom Hardy. I have a serious love-crush on Tom and if he ever wanted to marry me I might consider it. In that movie he plays a quiet hero named Forrest. His performance and that movie is outstanding; however his quiet presence and obvious strength was my inspiration for Gavin MacKellen.

I was hiding behind the heavy velvet curtains beside the suit of armor taking notes for a future book.

However, for some writers they can’t bring themselves to break some Taboos, out of fear, it will act as a reflection of their real life. What about you? What are some of the Taboos you just find irresistible in the fiction world. Are there some Taboos you won’t venture into, even in the fantasy world?

I love writing ménage romance. Two big hunky, hopefully dominant, men putting it all on the line for the woman who holds their hearts, and hopefully other body parts. Though I’ve tried, I have a mental block about ménage-a-quatre or more. I can to two men/one women, but more than that becomes a challenge, and using my collection of stuffed animals to figure out scenarios seems sacrilegious.

>> If you could truly escape the everyday life and live inside one of your books, which one would it be and what character would you play?

I would be Suz from my Their Dream Weaver series who has claimed her twin kilt-wearing Scotsmen who have loved her literally all her life.

>> If life is like a box of chocolates, what flavor is your favorite book?

It varies from day to day. Menage, BDSM, MM, shapeshifters are all favorites in erotic romance, but I am also known to read mystery, thrillers and most any genre, except outright horror.

>> You just finished a hard writing crunch and well… you’d probably be feeling good if it weren’t for the fact your eyes are cross-eyed, your fingers ache, your wrist feels like it’s on backwards and your butt feels like a flat tire. What’s your secret weapon for unwinding from all that?

A long walk with Honey, my constant companion, unless she’s at doggy daycare for the morning followed by a nap with her hogging the bed. Sweet iced tea (required when living in the South), and comfort food of either homemade mac and cheese or dinner out.

>>Okay, hypothetically speaking (for book research of course) what is your favorite sexual position or sex-play? (Remember, this is purely hypothetical)

Favorite sex-play has been phone sex lately with current mantoy. We are both so creatively minded and sometimes talking a scene through, imagining the touch, the feels, the heat building between us can be so intense it is like he is right there with me.

>> Fact or Fiction: Tell us the craziest place, timing or position you… errr… your characters have ever done it. And then tell us the real truth…

Craziest, most daring place was in the backseat of a car in front of my parents’ house when I was 19.

>> Is there a support group for people addicted to your books?

There might be, but they haven’t told me about it. But friend me on Facebook, or check out my website and you can keep up to date on when your next fix will hit the streets.

>> As an author of erotica, do you find you are more of a sex expert then say, some talk show sex experts? And could you give us a sample of advice?

I don’t know if I’m an expert on sex, but find that I have been able to give some good relationship advice to several married men who were hitting on me to join them in a FBW relationship. My biggest advice was told to me by a man who wanted to be my Dom…that sexy is 80% mental.

>> I spend so much time at home writing, I hardly ever get out of the house. So my characters are my closest friends. Has your family caught on to the fact that when you talk about so and so at the dinner table that it’s really just one of your characters and not the guy next door?

LOL…my family refuses to discuss what I do. They accept that I am following my lifelong dream of being a full time writer, but they will not discuss the genre, unless it’s to ask when I’m going to write a book they can read without blushing.

>> Let’s face it, life can be hysterical. And as story tellers, we get ideas from the craziest things. Whether it be a song, a book, a movie, something someone said or you just happened to be lucky as hell to have witnessed something. What’s the craziest thing you ever came cross that spurred you head long into a new story? And where is it hiding now?

My stories come from everywhere and nowhere at all. The last several Club Esoteria books literally came out of nowhere and the Doms would bodyslam whatever I had planned to write out of line then stepped up and said in a very clear, deep, Dom voice, “You’re writing my story, now.”

>> The kids, family and the neighbor’s dog are gone. It’d be a holiday man and you’ve planned a naughty orgy. Which of your naughty writer friends have you invited? And who’s on top? And when will we see that book?

I think if I invited my naughty writer friends for an orgy, we would end up plotting out our next few books instead of actually getting anything on.
