Why a writer writes… one writer’s ramblings
I see this question often. Not to abscond anyone or ridicule another. but often a writer asks others this, perhaps just to get to know another Author or gain perspective:
The question is: Do you write for yourselves/pleasure or for the reader/to be heard? And there is no right or wrong answer even if the sides don’t agree {they are opposites of course}, and some writers feel they are a little of both.
However, there is actually a third to this, because some people do write for the book sales, some write because they just love writing, but some write because they are a natural ‘Storyteller’, it is what they do and often the need to do so as involuntary is breathing. You will hear them telling a story over lunch with friends, or telling one at the camp fire, or tell them to a friend or loved one when they’re sick in bed. And this Storyteller is as irrelevant and relevant to the other two purposes of why we write.
So keep on writing… and don’t worry about the why’s… cause you never know…. you just might be a Natural.

Well true to their word Google has shown us that while they may be a browser search provider for Free Americans they certainly do not up hold freedom or allow grown adults to enjoy their own blog sites the way they choose to do so. Freedom of expression is still under the corporate tyranny of censorship.
Censorship from closed minded puritan prudes, I expect. but what logic and to what gain does a corporation have to sensor the mass of humans?
Well Google… a small lesson about sex and history.
Your kind have been trying to snuff out sex and the enjoyment as well as admiration of the beauty of the human body since the first accounts placed in written scriptures. Biblical times, Greece, Rome, dark ages, Middle ages, Victorian ages, Colonial time and modern time. There is always someone trying to censor erotic art and the naked human body… and through out time you have failed. It is still here.

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT!! because everyone… anyone… should be allowed to love… and care for… and look after the one they love.
How anyone could ever have found a wrong in that is beyond imaginations. Love is Caring and there is no form of acceptable hate– not ever.

COMING SOON!!! Dear Soldier With Love II: A Lost Soldier Named Grey
Yep you read me right.
The awesome guys inside Dear Soldier, With Love apparently had a little more to say,
Or to be more precise Chief Warrant Officer V Grey Lawrence did.
It all started May 31 when I came across a photograph of model Travis Davenport
Out of no where DSWL’s character Grey Lawrence started talking in my head. So I jotted down a few notes, about 2000 words of notes, to be exact, with the thought that I’d come back to it later. It didn’t happen that way. Grey wouldn’t shut up. So the next day I wrote some more, doing my best to keep up with the story chatter in my head. By the end of the day I had thrown down 8123 words. Still, Grey wasn’t through with me yet. In fact, he was determined to have his book finished before I was allowed to put it down and on June 5, I sent a complete manuscript to our lovable grammar Nazi, Alison Greene.
In Dear Soldier With Love II: A Lost Soldier Named Grey
CW5 Grey Lawrence is a field medic for a MEDEVAC chopper, his closest friend and pilot CW4 Corbin Rouss have been serving active duty together for nearly 7 years now. While Corbin still has a loving wife and kids waiting for him at home, Grey’s partner couldn’t hold on any longer and said goodbye in a Dear John letter sent after 4 years of him being over seas. But Grey is about to get a second chance at love with Senoir Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technician Nathan Blaise. Only the man that grabbed Grey’s attention has a few perils of his own to overcome. Nathan not only has to learn to walk and function with the aid of a prosthetic leg, he also has to learn that missing a leg doesn’t make him less of a man.
Coming together, these men just might discover that two halves can set them on the journey of becoming whole again.

War is very real in today’s current events. And while the term War doesn’t hold title presently, we still have so many loved ones: men and women fighting over seas. Everyday their lives are put at risk to help protect others. So when I was looking for a muse to fit the image of the character of Nathan Blaise, one particular man came to mind.
Model and Veteran: Alex Minsky
Alex Minsky served in the Marines in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb took his leg and nearly took his life 3 years ago.
After an uphill battle to overcome the changes in his life, Alex mow stands as a model of hope and inspiration for others like him that life changing injuries don’t mean the end of their lives.
I could not think of a better muse of inspiration for this story.
