My First Book Signing!
Hey loves!
This past weekend I had the honor of doing my first book signing at the Indie Love in the A Soiree reader event in Austell, GA.
It was epic and I'm still so full of joy and humbled that I got to meet so of you all in person!
If you haven't seen it on Facebook or Twitter yet, here is the highlight video of the event my hubs put together!
I can't wait until next year.

Sample Sunday: Noble Surrender
Here is a taste of my current WIP Noble Surrender. The first encounter between Ian and Giselle (It's not sweet like Isaiah and Tessa's was...)
**Unedited, Subject to Change**
Giselle arrived at Noble Naturals early Monday morning. That was nothing new lately with the company prepping to roll out the first round of new products to test groups soon in the upcoming weeks. She wasn't naive enough to believe that all of the products would be a hit on the first go around but that didn't mean she wasn't going to try.And she wanted to prove to Isaiah that she deserved the head of production promotion.Another reason she was up early was the thoughts of Isaiah's brother that had plagued her all night. She'd barely gotten any sleep over the last couple of nights. She'd already been off kilter since her lunch with Thomas when he'd shown her the video of Ian's fight and she'd been strangely turned on; but then to find out that Ian had been at Joie de Burlesque and watched her perform and enjoyed it...Giselle got off of the elevator on her floor and walked down the quiet hall to the lab. Her eye raised when she noticed the hook where Thomas usually kept his coat was empty. After grabbing her own, she slid her arms into the coat as she entered the lab."Thomas," she said, cheerfully as she buttoned her lab coat. "You're here early."She was ready to get to work and hopefully get the irrational crush on a man she'd never even met out of her mind. She was still walking toward him when he stood to his full height, causing Giselle to freeze.Thomas wasn't that tall.Who in the world...The air rushed from her lungs when the man turned around and locked eyes with hers.Ian Noble."Who's been screwing with my formula?"Giselle blinked coming out of her trance."Excuse me?"Ian turned and picked up a piece of paper."My formula," he repeated. "Somebody changed some of the components to it.""Oh...uh...I did," she said."And who are you?""I'm Giselle Warren."Ian's head tilted to the side and he studied her for a moment. "You're Giselle Warren?"Giselle's eyes widened. Her braids were pulled up on the top of her head in a bun to avoid and mishaps in the lab, she had a tiny diamond stud in her nose and the balls of her tongue ring were blue today. She stood up straight and squared her shoulders as she glared at him. That crush she'd had a minute ago, was quickly dissipating."Yes," she said, through clenched teeth. "I'm Giselle Warren, and I don't think I like your tone right now, Mr. Noble.""So you know who I am.""You're reputation precedes you."That seemed to be like a slap in the face, because his face morphed quickly. He cleared his throat and looked away."Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it. You're just...my brother didn't describe you.""What did he tell you about me?" she asked. He looked at her again. "Just that you were good at job.""And that's all that matters," she said with a curt nod. She brushed past him and couldn't help but notice his masculine scent. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to get to work.""Wait a second," Ian said. "Earlier you said you changed this formula.""Yes," she said, trying to ignore how close he was to her."Why?""There were too many ingredients.""What?"Giselle swallowed a sigh and turned to face him again. He was too damn close."There were too many ingredients," she repeated. He looked down at the paper again and studied it. She watched, trying to be intrigued by the way he pulled his lip between his teeth and his brow furrowed."I'll be damned," he finally said. "I guess you're right.""I know I'm right," Giselle said, confidently as she turned back around."I suppose I'll have to reevaluate some of my old notes," he murmured to her back."That might be wise.""You're mad at me." There was a sense of wonder in his voice."I'm not mad, Mr. Noble." She was kinda mad."Please, call me Ian.""Ian..." Damn that sounded too good. "I'm not mad.""Giselle..."She bit the inside of her cheek to keep from moan at the sound of Ian saying her name. She didn't like him...she didn't like him...she didn't like him..."I'd like for us to get along while I'm running things here."Giselle whirled back around, her eyebrows shooting up."Running what?" she asked."Running the production department, of course. My brother hasn't officially announced it yet, but I'm here to help get these new products created and launched."Giselle felt the heat rise up body and she felt like fire was going to shoot out of her ears."I don't think so," she said, storming past Ian.
*********************
Ian sat on the sofa watching as Giselle paced the length of Isaiah's office. The woman was livid. He decided it was best not to say anything more until Isaiah arrived. She looked like she would haul off and smack him.He studied her four inch closed-toe booties she was stomping around in. Long gorgeous legs spilled from beneath her lab coat. Her dress or skirt was obviously shorter than the coat, so it made him imagine her with nothing on underneath.Ian shook his head.He was too horny for his own good. First the woman at Joie de Burlesque, now Giselle, who's legs reminded him of Gypsy's.Speaking of Gypsy...He'd spent the weekend scouring the internet for her with no success. It was like the woman was a damn ghost. His unfruitful search was also the reason for his sleepless night. When morning dawned he decided he may as well come in early and get a peek at what the production team was working on and take notes so he could give his input. He hadn't expected to run into Giselle Warren. And he definitely didn't expect her to be so damn...hot!He figured she'd be an older woman, not...this.His eyes roamed her body from head to toe. Her hair was up in those black and purple braids and a small portion of the sides and back of her head were shaved with intricate designs. She had a piercing in that adorable nose of hers, and the balls of her barbell tongue ring were blue.Yours are gonna be blue too if you don't get some soon.He ran his hands down his face and stifled a groan."This is ridiculous."Ian looked over his fingers and noticed Giselle was still pacing and now she was murmuring to herself. Suddenly, she turned to face him shooting daggers at him with her eyes."What is the problem, Giselle?"He'd been confused as to why she'd taken off in a rage, but for some reason he couldn't stop himself from following her. She'd marched to the elevator, jabbed the up button and stood there tapping her foot impatiently until the doors slid open. She must have not realized he was following her until she entered the elevator and turned around. Her eyes and grown wide before narrowing. She'd huffed, pushed the button the floor the executive suites were on then pressed her body into the corner of the elevator as far from him as possible."The 'problem' is you.""Me?" Ian said. "How am I a problem?""You are a problem, popping up here, thinking you're going to be running things."Ian chuckled and shook his head. "You did see the name on the building when you walked in this morning didn't you?""I don't give a flying fuck whose name is on this building," she spat out.The smile on Ian's face faded away and he stood."Who the hell do you think you're talking to?" he asked, moving toward her. "You do realize I could have you fired."She didn't even flinch. "You're here a whole two minutes and you think you can throw your weight around. Let me tell you something, Ian Noble. Your last name may be on the building, but I've made my mark in this company. You haven't been here, working your ass off night and day, I have. That head of production position is mine. I don't care who you are.""I see you two have met already."Both Ian and Giselle turned their heads to find Isaiah standing in the doorway. Ian locked eyes with his brother who had an amused grin on his face. He turned and looked at Giselle and that's when he realized their bodies were practically pressed against one another.Giselle was the first to back away. She turned to Isaiah, pointed at Ian and without preamble asked, "Is he the new head of production?"Ian turned to face his brother as well, smug look on his face as he waited on Isaiah's response.Isaiah blew out a breath, a look of remorse on his face. He's going to break it to her gentl–"No."

Book Spotlight: Wild Whispers by Stella Eromonsere-Ajanaku
Today we are featuring Stella Eromonsere-Ajanaku, who is sharing a snippet from her novella Wild Whispers.
About the book:
Scarred but not broken, beautiful Adaora Dike made a tough choice early in life and she had no regret until she lost everyone and everything without warning. She finds comfort in a quiet home in the woods, deep in Dagor Village. Out there, Adaora discovers nature and animals do not condemn, only people do. One rainy night, a male shadow dashes across her yard, her heart flips over and she faces emotional chaos.
While on a field trip in Africa, handsome photographer, Gary Mason gets stranded in the woods. He finds an abandoned shelter occupied by a lonely but lovely woman he cannot not get out of his head. This is one photography shoot he wants to forget, but Adaora has a firm grip on his heart and might change his life forever.
Through many Wild Whispers, will Adaora and Gary change each other or will fate intervene to keep them apart?
Silence engulfed the room.
Only the sudden dripping sound of water interrupted the stillness.
Adaora got on her feet at the familiar sound. When she saw the leaking roof in the kitchen, she flailed both hands in the air.
“I’ve paid to mend this stupid roof so many times, I’ve lost count. The carpenters charge too much, yet, every downpour leads to more leaks.”
Her guest, Gary Mason stared up at the soggy ceiling board.
“The watermark remains throughout the rainy season. I intend to replace the boards in the dry season.” She threw the kitchen cupboards open and took out a small, plastic bucket. The white bucket would contain any drips till morning.
Gary took the container from her hand.

ABOUT HER KIND OF MAN
When Mr. Right is oh so wrong
I'll never let you go . . . Allina had always dreamed of hearing those words. But when her fiancé, Isaac, utters them, it isn't a promise-it's a threat. Scared and confused, with only moments before the wedding, Allina knows what she must do. Forget walking down the aisle; it's time to run. Back to Michigan. Back to Kent.
Kent has loved Allina for longer than he can remember. Out of respect for their friendship, he's never crossed the line, but when she turns up on his doorstep wearing her torn, tearstained wedding gown, the fire inside him ignites. He'll do whatever it takes to make Allina feel safe-like the beautiful, desirable woman she is. But as Kent and Allina grow closer, and their passion pushes deeper, it's clear that something bigger than a botched wedding still lingers between them . . .

Excerpt:
Allina got up and carried her dishes over to the sink. She turned on the faucet and filled up the basin with water. “I’m going to clean up and get ready to go to the store.”He finished up his plate and joined her at the sink. Not thinking, he dropped his mug into the dishwater, splashing the soapy water on Allina. She screeched and stumbled back. He reached for her, sensing she was getting ready to fall. Instead of preventing her fall, she ended up pulling him with her and they both landed on the floor, her on her back and him on his side.“Ouch,” she groaned from her where she lay on the tile. “That hurt.” She wiped her face and pushed her hair back, leaving a few suds on her face.He chuckled. “That was . . . clumsy.”She laughed then. “It was crazy. How did I fall? There was no water on the floor.” She pointed at him. “It was your fault.”He grabbed her finger. “It was not my fault you can’t stay on your feet.”She flicked some remaining soap on him. It was a running joke with their crew. Syd was dramatic, Cali had no filter, and Allina was clumsy as hell. It didn’t matter where they were or what they were doing, Allina always seemed to get hurt. Before he knew it, they were both laughing in earnest. She turned to him. “I needed this.”He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. “Glad I could help. I’ve never met anyone who is more accident-prone than you.”She grinned, her eyes gleaming. “Hey. Don’t say that.”He stood up and held out a hand to her. When she placed her tiny palm in his, he pulled her to her feet.Brushing off her clothes, she murmured, “My body is al- ready sore from that run. Now my back is throbbing.”“Maybe you should go lie down for a little bit before we go to the store,” he suggested. “I have a heating pad some- where if you need it.”She waved him off. “I’m good.” Peering up at him, she smiled again. A wide grin. “I need to keep moving.”Kent observed her. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes dancing and he found himself inching closer to her. A piece of her hair was stuck to her forehead and he pushed it to the back.“I must look crazy,” she said, smoothing a hand over her hair. One of the things Kent found so attractive about Allina was her sultry, deep voice. She talked like she was singing a lullaby. It was low, even, and sexy as hell. And what made it even better was she had no idea it could have an effect on a man.As if he had no power or control to stop himself, he leaned closer. She peered up at him and froze. Instead of retreating, she stayed where she was, her eyes on his. The air changed in that instant. He brushed her cheek with his thumb and she gasped. Their noses were almost touching. He knew he should step back, walk away, but he couldn’t. His body had a mind of its own.His nose bumped into hers. Her breath still smelled like the honey from her tea. It was warm against his skin. He wanted to kiss her, more in that moment than ever before. Then her lips brushed against his. It wasn’t a full-on kiss, but enough to make him want more. He framed her face with his hands and kissed the corner of her mouth, enjoying her sharp intake of breath. She squeezed his biceps, her nails digging into the sensitive skin.“Kent,” she whispered. “Are you sure you want to do this?”“Do you want me to?” he asked, unable to keep his eyes off her mouth. It was amazing how one simple touch had opened up the box that labeled them “very close friends.” He imagined how it would feel to really taste her, to feel her tongue against his, to touch her the way he wanted. But then where would that leave them? Confused and awkward around each other? Allina wasn’t just any woman. He couldn’t do her first and ask the hard questions later, be- cause she deserved better than that. They had never really talked about sex with each other before, but knowing her the way he did, he figured she was careful about who and what she did. Being with her, or even kissing her, was a game changer. But, damn-it, I want to.Sighing, he stepped back. He scratched his head. “I’m sorry. This isn’t right. We better get going.” Then he left her standing there in the kitchen.

ABOUT ELLE WRIGHT
Born and raised in Southeast Michigan near Ann Arbor, Elle learned the importance of reading from her mother. It was also her mother who, later on in her life, gave Elle her first romance novel: Indigo by Beverly Jenkins. From that moment on, Elle became a fan of Ms. Jenkins for life and a lover of all things romance. An old journal she wrote back in college became her first book (which she still wants to publish one day).

Sample Sunday: First Excerpt from Noble Love
*unedited, subject to change*
The bell over the bakery door rang as Tessa was bent over the display case filling it with fresh breakfast pastries. "I'm sorry," she said. "We're not quite open yet.""That's a shame...I was hoping to get a taste of some of your...irresistible treats."The deep, throaty rumble followed by the masculine voice filled with silk and sin, caused a tremble to race down Tessa's spine, landing right between her thighs with an out of this world throb. She slowly rose up, before turning around to put a face to the voice who had her panties instantly wet and bit back a groan.Isaiah Noble stood in the center of her bakery, looking too damn fine this early in the morning. She watched as his eyes shameless roamed her body, before meeting her face. Once there, he seemed to study her for several long moments, as if he were trying to figure out whether or not he recognized her.She doubted it. They grew up in the same town of Sweet Rapids, but they didn't hang in the same circles, especially with he and his siblings graduating high school so early. Even if there was a slight chance that he did know of her back then, she figured he knew her as the chubby girl who worked at her parents' bakery eons ago.She looked a bit different now. And it wasn't lost on Tessa that he liked what he was looking at.One side of his lip tilted upward as he shoved his hands into his hands into his pockets. "Any chance I can convince you to make an exception?"She returned his grin with one of her own as she sashayed her way behind the counter."Now see," she started. "If I make an exception for you and the customers find out about it, then they're going to start wanting to make exceptions for them as well.""Would it change your mind if I said I was doing a pick up for my mother?""Oh so you're a name dropper huh?""I didn't even say her name though.""Everyone knows your mother is Irene Noble," Tessa said as she slipped her hand in a plastic glove. She opened the display case, grabbed a few bear claws and dropped them into one of their signature dessert boxes. As she closed the display case, he leaned over the counter. "Do you know who I am?"She leaned toward him, and inhaled his intoxicating sandalwood and leather scent, clenching her thighs behind the counter."You're Isaiah," she answered, hoping she didn't sound too breathless. His lips spread into a full smile, revealing a perfect set of teeth."You said that with confidence, what makes you so sure I'm not Ian.""Your clothes," she said with a shrug before she stood again. "Not many music producers are seen on rocking suits all of the time. Plus, Ian's got that whole...bad boy thing going on with him. You don't give off that kind of vibe.""And what kind of vibe do I give off?" Isaiah asked. The kind of vibe that makes me wish I could jump your bones right here in the middle of the bakery. She smiled, shook her head and pushed the box in her direction."That'll be five dollars, Mr. Noble.""I didn't even order.""But I know for a fact these are Miss Irene's favorite for breakfast."Isaiah stood there staring at her for several moments again, before he reached into the pocket on the inside of his jacket and pulled out his wallet. He pulled out a crisp five dollar bill and handed it to Tessa. His fingers brushed hers in the exchange and the electricity of his touch raced through her body."Stop by again soon," she said, pushing her lips up into a smile. He picked up the box as he said, "Oh I will."She couldn't stop herself from admiring the confident swagger in his walk as he headed for the door. Right before he left the bakery he turned and smiled at her and his parting words had her mouth falling open in shock."You have a nice day, Tessa."Holy shit."You...""Know who you are?" he said with a raise of his eyebrows. "Of course I know who you are. You're looking good, by the way."And then he walked out the door, leaving Tessa stunned.
And ridiculously turned on.

Book Spotlight: I Want You Back by Chicki Brown
Fan girl alert!
One of my favorite authors has a new release! Cue music:
The amazing Chicki Brown has released book five in her Stafford Brothers Series, I Want You Back and she is sharing and excerpt with us today. Let's take a peek at Nick Stafford, shall we.
About the Book:
Nick Stafford is the youngest in his family. He's recently graduated from medical school and finished his internship. Everything was going well for him until Cherilyn, his girlfriend of two years, starts hinting about marriage. The thought of adding more responsibility to the pressure he is already facing getting ready to take the last of his board exams and the nearly quarter of a million dollars in student loan debt already hanging over his head is too much. He breaks off their relationship.Eight months later, he runs into Cherilyn at an event on the arm of another doctor, and she's wearing an engagement ring. Seeing her with another man stirs up a jealousy like he's never experienced before. Now all Nick can think of is how he can get her back.
Excerpt:
O nce he was inside the familiar surroundings of Cher’s apartment, Nick drew a long breath and the tension began to ebb from his neck and shoulders. He used to spend so much time at her place, but it had been months since he’d last been there. A brief glance around the living room reassured him that everything was still the same. She had a gift for the domestic arts. Even though her living space was small, it was comfortable and cozy. For some reason, even when he couldn’t relax in his own apartment, being at Cher’s always helped him settle down and unwind. Or maybe it was simply her presence that soothed and calmed him. Only this time, when she closed the door, an uneasy silence filled the room. They stared at each other for a long moment before she spoke.
“You can sit, Nick. Do you want something to drink?”
He removed his suit jacket and slung it over the back of the chair he used to consider his and eased into it with the unwelcome thought that Derrick had probably claimed it too. The notion made him so queasy he jumped up and moved to a seat at the kitchen table.
Cher turned toward him with a confused expression and poured him a glass of sweet tea from the pitcher she always kept in the refrigerator, but she didn’t say anything.
“Why don’t we order something to eat?” he asked.
“Yes, please.” She sounded thankful for the suggestion.
“How about Italian with all the trimmings?”
“Salad and garlic bread and cannoli for dessert?”
“Definitely.”
“I haven’t eaten anything delicious in three months.”
“Why not?”
She was standing at the sink with her back to him. “I was on a strict diet to get ready for the wedding.”
“Why?”
“Derrick was trying to get me to eat healthier. I figured the best time to start would be before the wedding.”
It was obvious that she was trying to make light of the matter. She kept her back turned to him as she spoke. He sensed how the confession bothered her. “I thought you were looking a little peaked, as my Aunt Velma always says. I thought maybe it was just the stress of the wedding.” He rose, came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist and murmured in her ear. “You don’t need to be on a diet. Your body is incredible. You’re the sexiest woman I know.”
Cherilyn immediately relaxed and rested back into his embrace. He wanted to let his hands roam over her curves, but it was probably too soon. Just this morning she was preparing to marry another man. He didn’t want her to feel as though he was pushing her. “I’ll call and order dinner.” He released her and stepped back. Instantly he felt a void at the loss of her warmth. He sighed and reached into his pocket for his phone.
Nick didn’t have to ask what she wanted. This restaurant had been their favorite, and they always requested the Best of Italy Trio with lasagna, fettuccini alfredo and chicken parmigiana. He wasn’t sure how to begin the conversation, so they waited in silence with only the sound of the television filling the apartment. When the doorbell finally rang, he got up to answer it, paid the delivery man and set the bags on the table. The aromas of tomato and garlic from the unopened containers filled the room.
“This smells wonderful.” She opened each item, and Nick spooned their food onto plates then took her hand and offered a quick blessing.
He tore a slice of hot garlic bread from the foil-wrapped loaf. “We can’t avoid talking about this.”
“I know,” she answered softly. “Where do we go from here?”
“I need to say something first.” Her eyes rested on the Caribbean blue gaze she adored, and she waited for him to speak. “The night we broke up, you said something that hurt me, Cher. You said I needed to show you that you weren’t just a place to stop when I wanted to do my laundry or get a home-cooked meal, or get my rocks off.” Maybe you were just angry, but I need to know if you really believed that’s how I saw our relationship.”
Following a long sigh, she rested her fork on the edge of her plate and looked as though she was contemplating her answer. “We were together for two years, Nick. That’s longer than a lot of people stay married, but we had gotten into such a routine. You’d come here after working a God-awful shift at the hospital. I’d feed you. We’d watch TV until you crashed, which was usually about twenty minutes after you ate; then I’d wake you up and we’d have sex then you’d go back to sleep until you had to get up and go back to work.”
He twirled his fork into the fettuccini and hesitated before raising it to his mouth. “Sounds pretty monotonous when you put it like that. I saw things totally different. I loved coming here. I have a roommate. There’s no such thing as privacy with him and all of his friends traipsing in and out. You gave me the three things a man needs: good food, good sex and quiet.” He smiled. “Coming here and spending time with you was the best part of my week, but I understand you felt you were getting the short end of the stick. I didn’t take into consideration what you needed. I’m sorry, baby.”
“It was my fault, but if we’re going to be together, things will be different. No more spending the night. No more doing your laundry here. If you want me, you have to date me like you should’ve been doing all along.”
Nick mulled over her words for a moment then nodded. “That’s fair. It’s what you deserve, but don’t expect any gourmet dining or weekend trips to South Beach on a resident’s salary.” He added with a mirthless chuckle.
“Oh, my God! You make fifty thousand dollars a year, more than half of the households in this country. No, that doesn’t compare to what your brothers make, but please stop acting like you’re poverty stricken.”
“I do, but I’m also drowning in two hundred thousand dollars in student loan debt. If I ever plan to get out from under it, most of what I earn has to go toward repaying my student loans. I don’t want to still be paying them off ten years from now.”
She crossed her arms and shook her head. “Think about it this way. If we were married, my salary plus what I make from giving lessons on the side would go into the family pot. We would only have one rent payment instead of two and only one set of utility bills.” She gave the ceiling a brief glance. “I’m just saying.”
He gave her a half-smile. “You’re right. I have to stop imagining this anvil hanging over my head with 200K written on it.”
“Yes, you do.”
“Am I ever going to get to enjoy your cooking again?”
She smirked. “We’ll see.”
“Let’s finish eating. You need to be on your way before it gets too late.”

*Unedited, subject to change*
The softness of a rose petal slowly glided up and down his neck and back once...twice...and a third time, causing him to stir slightly. When the petal was replaced with lips just as soft, his body began to awaken even more, including the area between his legs."Ethan," she purred seductively in his ear. When he felt her teeth gently bite into his shoulder, he groaned into his pillow, then finally rolled on to his back. He smiled when he looked up to see Savannah over him, wearing his dress shirt with the buttons undone and barely covering her breasts."You're going to have me exhausted on my first day of this job trial run.""Mmmm," she moaned as she slid her body on top of his, straddling his lap. She leaned down and kissed his chin, then traced her lips across his jaw up to his ear. "This is your fault," she whispered. "If you hadn't been so eager to make a good impression with my family by going to that charity ball, we could have gotten started much earlier.""So this is my fault?" he said, his voice ragged as she kissed his collar bone and then moved down to his pecs. "Are you punishing me?""I guess you could say that," she said, with a naughty grin, before her tongue flicked out and made contact with his nipple."If..." His voice actually trembled. "If you're upset about having to go to the ball last night, I guess you don't want to know what I won for you at the silent auction."At those words, Savannah sat back up.A silent auction was held during the charity ball every year."You bid on something?" she asked."Sure, I did," he replied. He was trying to gain his composure, but it was hard to focus on anything accept for the sweetness between her legs. All he had to do was move slightly and he would be able to slide inside of her. "And I won.""What is it?" she asked."I don't think I want to tell you anymore," he teased."Oh really," she said, crossing her arms over her chest."Really." She was driving him mad, especially the way her breast were pressed together and jutting up above her arms. He wanted to reach up and give them a good squeeze before pulling them into his mouth. He watched as her lips spread into a devious smirk and he knew he was in trouble. She unfolded her arms. "I could always...draw it out of you," she said, innocently, as her hand wrapped around his manhood."You don't play fair," he groaned, loving the way she stroked him from the base of his dick all the way up to the tip."All's fair in love and war, sweetheart," she gloated. He was putty in her hands as he whispered, "Look in your purse."She stopped her ministrations and he wished he hadn't given in so quickly. She continued staring at him confused, as she said, "My purse?""Just go look," he said, gently smacking her on her back side. She got up from his lap and he immediately missed the connection. She hurried over to her purse, opened it and gasped."You didn't!" she cried out as she pulled a diamond necklace out."You're holding it aren't you?"She looked from the necklace to him. "Ethan...""I saw you had your eye on it when we were looking at the items up for bid. And I knew you'd never bid on it for yourself, so..." he shrugged as he lifted his arms and rested them behind his head."I never saw you bid on it.""I did it while you were chatting with that artist, who donating one of her sculptures to the auction.""Elizabeth Parker," Savannah murmured absently, staring at the necklace. "She donates a sculpture or painting almost every year. She's John's wife, the one who catered the ball. They're old friends of the family."He watched as she looked up at him again. "When did you slip it in my purse?" she asked."When you took off to the bathroom with your sister," he said. "You left your purse.""That's right, I did."Ethan sat up, with his back against the headboard and said, "Are you just gonna stand there staring at it for the rest of the night, or are you gonna get over here and let me see how you look wearing it...and nothing else?"Savannah smiled, then shrugged out of his shirt, letting it fall to the floor before she walked over to him. Once she was straddling him again, he took the necklace from her and latched it on."How does it look?" she asked, touching the three diamonds that rested in the drop setting."Absolutely stunning.""Are you referring to the necklace or me?" she asked, resting her hand on his shoulders."You."She pushed him onto his back, then reached over and grabbed a condom off of the nightstand."The necklace is stunning too," she said, tearing open the condom."If you like it..." the air hissed from his teeth as her fingers delicately rolled the condom down. "...then I love it.""I love it," she said, taking him in her hands. "Let me show you how much."She sank on to him, rolling her hips as she worked her way down until they were connected. She leaned forward, pressing her breasts against his chest and she reached for his hands, interlocking their fingers together above his head. Her silky heat milked him over and over and he was held captive to her. She was in control now and he loved every damn minute of it.She sat up again and released his hand as she began bouncing up and down on him wildly, and he gripped her hips, holding on as she rode him furiously. He watched as her head fell back as she moaned loudly. Her walls clenched around him and he exploded inside of her.She fell forward collapsing on top of him. His sweet Savvy had woken up ravenous. And clearly she'd gotten her fill.He looked at the clock on the night stand. He had to be up in a few hours. But at the moment, nothing else mattered, except for the woman in his arms.
