RICHARD BELZER

Richard Belzer, a fine comedian and actor, died Sunday. I was lucky enough to meet him some years ago when he performed onstage with the Rock Bottom Remainders at the Miami Book Fair. Here's a photo from that peformance: At left is the late, great Frank McCourt, playing the harmonica; then Belzer, looking cool, which he very much was; then my buddy Alan Zweibel, looking lost, which he almost always is; then me, looking like I'm wondering what key McCourt is playing in.
