Video: Is this really what the Maryland Marriage Alliance supports?
I put two of the worst moments from the earlier video clips (see four prior posts) into one easily shareable minute:
(**Rmdr: The guy who hysterically laughs at the end of the clip is MD Marriage Alliance head Derek McCoy; guy next to him is Austin Nimocks from the Alliance Defending Freedom; on the other end is professional "ex-gay" Greg Quinlan)

Video: MD equality foes desperately twist FLOTUS; try to make it appear she supports their discrimination
A new ad from the eye-openingly extreme campaign that's trying to block civil marriage equality in Maryland:

ANOTHER: MD Marriage Alliance panelist says gays are on 'wrong side of eternity' while campaign head laughs hysterically
Another from that official Maryland Marriage Alliance panel. Note what brings campaign head Derek McCoy to hysterical laughter:
*EARLIER: This same panelist said gays and supporters are "worthy of death"
*Panel includes a professional "ex-gay"

Audio: Maryland Marriage Alliance panel claims gays and supporters are 'worthy of death'
So I've already showed you this MD marriage panel, focused on the fact that it includes an "ex-gay" president alongside the official campaign. Now let's cue it up to another point, where the man sitting right next to campaign head Derek McCoy says marriage equality will lead to prostitution before then claiming (around 37:50) that both gays and our supporters "worthy of death":
Another cued-up "death" mention:

Video: Phil Snider—preacher, script-flipper, point-maker
So many people have sent me this video in the past twenty-four hours that I feel a responsibility to pause the weekend and post it. Watch the whole thing:

Audio: Focus on the Family prez says gays are at battle with God
Janet Mefferd is one of the most aggressively anti-LGBT Christian radio hosts around. Yet despite his hollow lip service about being a "softer" kind of religious right voice, Focus on the Family president Jim Daly went on the proudly incendiary Mefferd's show today, where he claimed that gays are in "pain" and are at battle with "the creator of the universe." Enjoy:

Video: Star of various state marriage ads calls equality 'cultural sinkhole of which there really is no return'
You've surely seen National Organization For Marriage employee and gay "change" advocate Damian Goddard (he runs NOM's Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance) in marriage ads currently running in Minnesota, Maryland, and elsewhere. Now listen in as this supposed "victim" warn of how a more tolerant Minnesota will send the state "spiraling down a cultural sinkhole" of which there really is no return:
(*The hyperbole comes around :42; there's no reason to watch the purposeless ramble that follows)
Oh...
NOM wants gays' kids to be impoverished, apparently
We've of course seen anti-equality organizations push this kind of thing. But when it comes from the number one organization trying to deny same-gender couples the deserved rights and protections that come from marriage, it takes on even more weight:
If their stats are solid, there is no logical reason why the reduction in poverty would not also apply to same-sex couples, and there is no honest person on either side of this issue who could seriously deny that. Forget politics f...
Video: Yes! Discrimination doesn't hinge on marriage! Bravo, Mainers United for Marriage!
Regular G-A-Y readers know that I have been harping for years on the fact—THE FACT!—that so many of the things that the ever-deceptive far-right cites as being a potential issue attached to marriage (e.g. whether or not tolerance will be taught; whether or not inns must accommodate people regardless of sexual orientation; whether or not a public pavilion getting a special tax break myst follow the rules associated with that break; etc) are actually not associated with marriage at all, and in...
