On marriage, FRC prays SCOTUS will 'rule in the fear of the Lord'

Here is the eighth of the Family Research Council's prayers targeting each Supreme Court justice, this one targeting notoriously silent archconservative Clarence Thomas:

Pray that Justice Thomas will become bolder in expressing his thoughtful, spiritually enlightened legal opinions. (Pr 10:19; Acts 4:31)
Pray that he will become the very influence upon the court that liberals fear. And may this upcoming marriage case be an opportunity for this quiet man, in a case that will have a huge impa...

NOM #March4Marriage speaker and religious liaison calls gay marriage 'unnatural'

National Organization For Marriage religious liaison Willie Owens loves to call same-sex marriage unnatural. Here he is doing it again, alongside extreme anti-gay activist Roy Moore, and just days before he speaks at the so-called "march for marriage":

"Go try it with electricity"? Well you got me there, Willie. I mean, my wall outlets have *never* been able to bring me to orgasm quite like my human husband of many years. Not even close.

Although the outlets did have comparable results t...

Audio: NOM #March4Marriage speaker opposes 'destructive behavior' of homosexuality, links it to addiction

With their so-called "march for marriage" happening only days before the US Supreme Court hears the most critical marriage cases in which the anti-LGBT movement will be tasked with denying that personal animus toward homosexuality is what guides their resistance to civil marriage parity, the National Organization For Marriage should want to book march speakers who do not have clear records of personal hostility toward what they see as "lifestyles" and "behaviors." But instead they booked Jim...

Video: Very angry child of male/female divorce attacks 'unnatural' 'homosexual lifestyle,' tells everyone else to 'shut up'

The anti-gay Federalist website has found another child of a broken heterosexual home who now projects her pain and anger onto gay marriage, families, parents, and children. But wow, this one sure isn't going to help the pro-discrimination movement one iota, as young Brandi Walton from Oklahoma is crazy angry with nasty comments and trash talk. Oh, and she holds obvious animus toward the "unnatural" "homosexual lifestyle," which is what clearly guides her views. Meet her now:

I hope you fi...

FRC praises Justice Scalia for jurisprudence that is 'shaped by his faith'

Here's the next in the Family Research Council's daily prayers targeting each individual Supreme Court justice. Today the pro-discrimination political group is going for the low-hanging fruit that is Justice Scalia, thanking the notorious conservative (and father of a staunch "ex-gay" advocate) for operating on the basis of his faith:

God, thank you for Justice Scalia, who has been shaped by his faith and who believes that the Constitution and Bill of Rights were intended to protect people...

FRC prays for all SCOTUS justices to come to Jesus; yes, even the three Jewish ones

Earlier I showed you the Family Research Council's prayers directed at four US Supreme Court justices. Now here is Judge Sonia Sotomayor's own targeted edition, which comes with a bonus call for all of the justices to "come to a saving knowledge of Christ":

Screen Shot 2015-04-20 At 9.12.45 PmPray that the Spirit of God will move upon Justice Sonia Sotomayor, using all of the memories of her Catholic family upbringing to bring biblical conviction upon her regarding life, marriage, and religious freedom. (Dt 8:1-20; 2 Cor 10:3...

Video: NOM #March4Marriage speaker defends conversion therapy; claims most gay people were abused

Bishop Brandon B. Poster will speak at the National Organization For Marriage's so-called March For Marriage:

This would be the same Bishop Porter who is behind that infamous "I'm not gay no more" viral video and who proudly supports "delivering" gay people from their "lifestyles" and "proclivities":

Oh, and also the same Bishop Porter who tweets out crude videos in which an evangelist equities homosexuality with bestiality and then cruelly condemns "sissies":

An 'Apprentice' winner, some Congress members, and a whole slew of anti-LGBT activists. Oh my.

Some of the people who have stood against our rights the most will soon join forces in La Mesa, California. In hopes of winning the future, apparently:

No word if Chicken Little will be on hand to warn of the future's fallen sky. Stay tuned for the finalized roster of fear voices.

Anti-gay NY state senator claims NOM has given him 117 buses for #March4Marriage

6A00D8341C503453Ef017C371D6080970BNew York state Senator Ruben Diaz, an anti-gay Democrat, was laughably unsuccessful at stopping marriage equality when it came before a vote in his own chamber. Even so, the National Organization For Marriage keeps inviting the cowboy hat aficionado to its events. The reason why? Diaz, a longtime community activist and preacher, has a way of getting people to get on a bus, whether they even know what event they're on their way to attend.

This year is no different. Since NOM has absolutely n...

NOM books #March4Marriage speaker who repeatedly calls gay people 'unnatural'

Dran Reese, director of something called the Salt and Light Council, has been working for years to mobilize conservative Christians in California and nationwide into engaging the "culture war" issues of the day. Of course this includes LGBT rights.

This is Dran Reese:

And so it all this:
