Video: Equality versus NOM #march4marriage supporter who thinks we're 'so unnatural'
It's good that this Daily Mail video features a National Organization For Marriage "march for marriage" participant who admits she thinks gay people are "so unnatural" (like totally, ohmigah!). Because that is what drives the anti-gay movement:
Eh, at least FRC's Peter Sprigg didn't call on us to be "exported" or criminalized. Because, ya know—he's done both:

Own worst enemies: Anti-equality movement shows true animus on steps of Supreme Court
Just a day before the "protect marriage" movement has its most important hearing in its movement's history, a band of some of the most animus-driven activists in this or any other world gathered for a press conference that framed homosexuality as a behavior. Peter LaBarbera, Janet Porter, "ex-gay" Greg Quinlan, and Scott "I'm on trial for crimes against humanity" Lively are just some of those gathered to show the SCOTUS nine what this movement is really all about.

Video: America is ready for the freedom to marry

READ: Very anti-gay crew vows to never recognize civil marriage equality (even though they so will or face penalties)
When you've tried for years—even decades, in some cases—to stop gay rights and marriage in particular, and you've failed and failed H-A-R-D, you've got to try something to save face. For a fairly sizable group of extremely anti-gay people who have dedicated a large portion of their adult lives to civil discrimination, this means signing on to a defiant (but wholly meaningless) letter in which you make a vow to always oppose marriage equality, no matter what, end of story—harrumph.
Here's what...
NOM #March4Marriage coalition partner, religious liaison: 'Homosexuality is behavior and choice...immoral'
Willie Owens, the National Organization For Marriage's named religious liaison and coalition partner, is speaker at Saturday's March For Marriage, where the NOM crowd will pretend they have something pertinent to add regarding the civil marriage cases about to go before the US Supreme Court. But as Owens made clear in a letter he cosigned with his wife, his opposition, like almost every gay rights opponent's opposition, is really about his personal detestation for homosexuality itself:
Mike Huckabee blatantly lies about something no civil marriage activist is seeking
One thing that has annoyed me most about this particular "culture war" debate is how the opposition is so hellbent on painting us as evil tyrants that they won't accept any good faith efforts that we extend. For instance, we have long said—consistently, a a movement, in a loud and unanimous voice—that our fight is only for *civil* marriage equality and that we are perfectly happy leaving individuals churches to do as they always have with marriage and decide who they do and do not want to ma...
Video: Man who once called for ban on gay teachers promotes #March4Marriage; because of course he does
Former U.S. Senator and current Heritage Foundation president Jim DeMint has openly stated his belief that gay people (and unwed mothers) should be banned from being public school teachers. He also insists that homosexuality is "a behavior that’s proven to be destructive to our society,” and admits that he'd never back a gay or lesbian president "because I consider it immoral.”
So of course he's a big fan of an event that pretends to be about policy when everyone knows it's really about ant...
FRC Senior Fellow: We are prepared to 'give our lives' to fight same-sex marriage (i.e. 'our eternal destruction')
E.W. Jackson is now a senior fellow at the Family Research Council. E.W. Jackson is now vowing to fight us to the death on marriage equality, if necessary:
Um, who is going to be threatening your life, exactly, Mr. Jackson? I mean, I know that throwing rice at weddings can be dangerous to birds, but you are not avian and that practice has fallen out of favor. Unless you plan to position yourself in a bad spot at a particularly boisterous wedding horah or you imbibe a little too much at t...
Questions 'Face The Nation' should ask Tony Perkins (but likely won't, sadly)
Family Research Council president Tony Perkins has revealed that he will be on CBS News' venerable Face The Nation this coming Sunday ostensibly to discuss the upcoming Supreme Court cases on marriage:

That being so, I've assembled a list of questions that the moderator (presumably regular host Bob Schieffer) might want to ask Mr. Perkins so that the show's viewers get a sense of who this man truly is and how he has advocated against LGBT people. Let's begin.
Mr. Perkins, you recen...
