Video: Something old, something new, something borrowed—something that will 'obliterate Christianity'?

Remember a couple of weeks ago, when Glenn Beck said that if people were anti-gay then he didn't want them in his circle? Yeah, well—here's one of Beck's favorite guests, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, appearing on Beck's eponymous show on the network he created, accusing gay people of trying "to censor, undermine, and ultimately obliterate Christianity" through our civil marriage rights:

[RWW]

Now, Glenn Beck would surely play those words games that social conservatives always play, claiming that Lapin d...

Is there any advocate more disingenuous than a professional 'ex-gay'?

Speaking to the American Family Association's One News Now, professional "ex-gay" Greg Quinlan says the following:

"I wasn't born gay -- nobody is," he asserts. "In fact, the American Psychiatric Association says this: 'There are no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biologic ideology for homosexuality.' None" [ONN]

Greg is, in fact, telling the truth that this line does come from the APA. Here's the context:

So yes, the APA is saying that we have not pinpointed a specifi...

Even Maggie Gallagher admits our gains = 'a lot more freedom'

Pat yourselves on the back, folks. Because we have been so successful in beating back the agenda she do fully hoped to inscribe into American policy at the federal level, Maggie Gallagher now has "more freedom"!

That and other revelations (I love how she admits boycotts don't work while NOM continues to push their failed Starbucks one) from Lila Shapiro's new interview with the NOM co-founder:

Leading Gay Marriage Opponent On Losing The Battle: 'I Have A Lot More Freedom Now' [HuffPo]

They're not going to stop at same-sex marriage: FRC prez advises man to not enter interfaith marriage; 'not all religions are equal'

On his radio show this afternoon, Tony Perkins proved just how far he plans to take his "traditional marriage" advocacy. In a jaw dropping turn, the prominent cable TV pundit and politically connected Republican advised a caller to not marry his fiancee for the sole reason that she is of another faith. "Not all religions are equal," demanded Tony.

Listen to the religious freedom at work, folks:

You think Tony knows that the doyenne of the modern "traditional marriage" movement, Maggie Gallagher...

Is it just me, or is the line about "confusion to confusion" the most confusing sentence ever written?

Fringe anti-LGBT group claims Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade organizers thanked them for 'getting the truth out'

MassResistance (headed by Brian Camenker) is an exceedingly anti-LGBT organization that has been on the Southern Poverty Law Center's list of "hate groups" for many years now. However, this over-the-top group is apparently right in line with the organizers of Boston's pointedly discriminatory St. Patrick's Day parade:

So they lose the mayor, several prominent politicians, the city's most famous beer company (among other sponsors), and the creative contributions of LGBT pe...

Matt Barber's pragmatism-draining website: LGBT activists are 'hijackers' on 'hostage-taking enterprise'

In a new column on incendiary anti-LGBT activist Matt Barber's latest act of political foot-shooting, BarbWire.com, senior editor and Indiana pastor Jeff Allen uses the word "hijack" six different times as he works to make people like me seem on par with terrorists (another word he uses):

Barbwire-editor-Jeff-Allen"How is it that the St. Patrick’s Day parades in Boston and New York have become the latest pawn in the homosexual hijacking of this country?...As the militant homosexual activists aggressively sweep through...

Audio: Catholic League's Bill Donohue itching to strut his stuff in NYC Pride

Of course the reality is that NYC Pride is simply teeming with straight people. In fact, I'm always touched by the thousands upon thousands of allies who turn out to celebrate LGBT Pride that need not and does not come at the exclusion of S.

But Bill Donohue is someone whose activism has always put gimmick about ten steps before fact, which is why he has this new plan::

Video: Diary of an Obsession: Bryan Fischer edition

Every one of the following clips come from one show. All four are from today's edition of the American Family Association senior issues analyst's daily radio show, in which the always-obsessed host talked about little else. He lashed out at onetime golden boy Dan Cathy and "the gay Gestapo" that has supposedly silenced him. He suggested that God will avenge for homosexuality (and abortion) the way he incited a Civil War against the sin of slavery. He directly equated gay people with alcoholic...

RNC's 'hip Republican' seems okay with at least one same-sex marriage

You've probably seen the Republican National Committee's new ads, which find D.C. based PR guy Scott Greenberg identifying as both a fan of thick glasses and the GOP. If not, here are the ads:

It was already reported that Greenberg does press for the Washington Ballet, so I'm thinking he has to be fairly socially liberal. But then I also found this shot on his website:
