Just two men determined to cost the GOP more elections
Liberty Counsel's Matt Barber, fresh off classifying homosexuality as "squalid & feculent abuse of the reproductive & digestive systems," wrote a piece today essentially calling on far-right, anti-LGBT conservatives like himself to break away from the Republicans and form a third party. Family Research Council president Tony Perkins seems eager to join him down this pragmatic-draining path:
"Please proceed, gentlemen," silently mumbles Hillary Clinton.

Video: Josh Duggar against rights for people who 'choose alternative lifestyles' #19Kids #AndCountingOnAnimus
Reality TV star and Family Research Council Action president Josh Duggar recently went on a local news program in North Carolina, where he went after nondiscrimination protections based on sexual orientation, marriage equality for people who "choose alternative lifestyles," and supposedly skewed polling that speaks to LGBT equality. And even though Josh works for one of the most overtly anti-LGBT organizations in D.C. and his is the only one of the "sides" that is truly pushing for oppression...
Wait, a person who said homosexuality is 'part of Satan' thinks gays are bullies? Shocker!
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann(About-As-Far-R-As-You-Can-Get–MN), who has referred to homosexuality as "part of Satan, I think" believes gay people have bullied America. Right Wing Watch brings us the clip:
"...is getting a little tiresome is the gay community have so bullied the American people"
[RWW]
This person made her national name by trying to ban marriage equality in Minnesota, before then moving on to opposing every LGBT right to ever come up for a vote in Congress. She's also advocated...
Video: Wholesome, traditional American family pushes love, values, S'mores
As a married gay dad who is also overwhelmed by the love I feel for my kid (and who has also been known to wear burgundy pants), I can safely say that this is one of the most welcome and relatable gay-inclusive ads I've ever seen:

Video: Anti-gay ADF creates Arlene's Flowers puff clip; hopes thorn of discrimination will seem like rose
Baronelle Stutzman chose to deny a longtime customer of wedding flowers simply because his request was for a same-sex ceremony. That is the fact. It doesn't matter how nice Ms. Stutzman may or may not be; the law is the law.
But since the law is not on the Alliance Defending Freedom's decidedly anti-LGBT side, they are instead hoping a smoothly filmed and edited puff video might help their case. Take a look:
Every time someone on that side talks about these situations involving flowers or cakes...
FRC Sr. Vice President: Gayness 'leads to the withering of the soul and the erosion of society'
The ever obsessed Family Research Council is still hoping to convince the world that we LGBT folks are dangerous to both ourselves and Earth. Here's one more for the archives:
"Not to uphold the Bible’s teaching on human sexuality is to show a lack of love. Sexual intimacy as God intended it - within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman - is beautiful, life-affirming, and life-giving. Sexual intimacy outside these parameters, however enjoyable transiently, leads to the wither...
This Friday: Ken Cuccinelli to 'explain' why AGs are wrong not being as astoundingly anti-equality as he was
With elected office no longer taking his time, Ken Cuccinelli, Virginia's extremely anti-gay former Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate, is now moving on to the kind of activism work that could likely be his next phase. This Friday, he'll be hanging out with the anti-equality Heritage Foundation, where he will surely chastise the man who was elected his successor, Democrat Mark Herring, for not defending the "...is for lovers" state's unconstitutional marriage ban:
[Heritage]
Look, I'l...
Audio: NOM's Christopher Plante wants people 'out there with pitchforks' against pro-equality AGs
"The people" voted for Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring. In the days since a federal court judge overturned VA's marriage ban (now on appeal), the people of Virginia have seemed pretty okay with it. Not surprising, since current polling shows a sizable percentage of Americans in support of marriage equality.
So how will the pro-discrimination National Organization For Marriage change its fates? Why it will encourage folks to hit the streets with pitchforks to show their opposition to cer...
FINALLY! A conservative in conservative media outlet admits animus drives 'protect marriage' fight
Linda Harvey just did what few other conservative commentators will do. Writing for WND, Harvey came out and admitted that the anti-equality fight has absolutely nothing to do with "protecting traditional marriage" and has everything to do with disliking homosexuality:
We aren’t fighting to protect marriage because the term and tradition are important. Let’s be honest that the only reason for this dispute is because people want to engage in anatomically challenged behavior that is observably u...
