Oh Boise: Idaho same-sex couples can marry by week's end
Congrats, Idahoans. As of this Friday morning, loving (or even non-loving, I guess) same-sex couples will be free to marry within state lines:

In refusing to stay, Judge Candy Dale said an appeal is unlikely to win, so there's no valid reason or need to delay justice. "But, but, but—we just don't want this to happen," responded the anti-equality activists, who do genuinely seem to think that's a perfectly legitimate rea...
Audio: Tony Perkins, caller discuss 'horrible,' 'repulsive' homosexuality
Martin the caller thinks God is working to show America how "horrible" and "repulsive" our love really is. "Absolutely right," agrees the Family Research Council's exceedingly anti-gay president:
You know what I say when I see straight people kissing? "No thank you, that's not for me."
Why are you so bothered by a form of love that you yourself do not crave?

Video: David Boies presses Berkeley Law grads to conquer 'last official bastion of actual discrimination by govt. against citizens'
David Boies, the legal eagle who has certainly earned a key place in our history books and who continues to fight the good fight against discrimination, gave a passionate speech to Berkeley Law's commencement. The whole speech is worth a look, but I've cued it to an especially pertinent point:

His movement drowning, Tony Perkins looks to 'Roe'
Even though it's really much more like Loving v. Virginia, the anti-LGBT movement is desperate to turn modern marriage cases into the new Roe v. Wade. Here's FRC prez Tony Perkins doing just that, while throwing in a "tinkering under the hood" argument for good (read: terrible) measure:
[SOURCE: Emailed press statement]
Fortunately, no one on the equality side is trying to "eradicate" "natural or moral law." It's Tony Perkins who is trying to hijack those principles, casting out anyone who does...
All you need to know about Idaho's just-demolished marriage ban: Bryan Fischer co-authored it!
One of the most anti-gay men in America was one of the authors of the marriage ban that a federal judge just deemed unconstitutional. And boy, he's pisssssssssed:

Federal judge strikes Idaho's nasty, discriminatory pockmark (i.e. marriage ban)
Breaking tonight:
Today U.S. Magistrate Judge Candy Dale, a federal judge in Idaho, ruled in favor of the freedom to marry, striking down the state’s discriminatory constitutional amendment that bans same-sex couples from marriage. The ruling is the 16th consecutive victory in state and federal court for the freedom to marry since the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Windsor v. United States in June 2013. The ruling is the 12th win in federal court for marriage since June.

Video: Bernard Whitman destroys Tony Perkins in Fox News debate
To Tony Perkins, condemning a person is just as much of an expression as living truthfully as that person—at least when that latter person is gay and that first person is hostile to homosexuality. This Perkins worldview is not news to any us. The man does not think gay people should be gay. That is known
On last night's edition of Fox News' Kelly File, Tony did his best to make it sound like the NFL, where heterosexuality and Christianity have both managed to thrive for eons, i...

Geidner: 4th Circuit looks likely to strike down VA's discriminatory marriage ban
My pal Chris Geidner has a good track record. Let's hope it continues with this latest prediction:
RICHMOND, Va. — The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals looks likely to declare Virginia’s ban on marriages for same-sex couples unconstitutional, following the path set by trial judges all over the country.

'JUST SAY NO': It's our relationships they're after, not just our marriages
This telling sign was spotted today in Richmond, VA, where protesters are demonstrating against gay people's marriages:
Note the demonstrator isn't just "X"-ing out our rings or our licenses or some other wedding ephemera. No, no—this sign "Just says no" to our coupling. Our relationships. Us.
You scratch the anti-equality movement for just a short time, and you always find this to be true. This movement will never stop at just marriage because they don't see their fight as ending there. They o...
