Another big update today!

****PLEASE NOTE: Firstly – I am going to be out of the country, in Costa Rica!  Mostly for fun, but also I am going to be researching & taking my own reference photos of insect life there specifically for an Insect themed art show I’ll be participating in later this year (July 8, Seattle, Eight and Sand Gallery, I’ll be debuting four new paintings and will be there in person!).  At any rate, I will be out of town through February 7.  This won’t affect much, just that new orders for limited edition canvases or original paintings will have a short delay in shipping – until I return February 7.  Everything else just ships out as normal.  I will be in the jungle and away from the internet, so emails & messages will be delayed too.  We have a bunch of auctions up at eBay here that I’ll return home in time to ship with no delay, feel free to bid as usual!  Etsy, Amazon, Strangeling.com, other eBay, etc. all ships as usual, only slight delays on original paintings & limited editions (as I have to be here in person to ship those).</p>

“Peppermint Dragonling” is my newest original painting!  It’s been awhile since I’ve had a “penny auction” for an original painting, so I’ve gone ahead and popped her up for auction on eBay here – bidding starts at just one penny!  We have the prints & canvases of “Peppermint Dragonling” up on Strangeling.com here, from $9.99 .  I’ll be back home in time to ship the original painting when the auction ends, paper prints will ship every day as always, and Limited Edition canvases will ship February 7.

Another Valentine themed painting of mine – “Mending a Broken Heart” is this week’s sale print!  Only $9.99 for prints, open edition canvases only $70 this week here!

And finally – I have a bunch of new ACEO cards up for auction, each also starting at just one penny.  Tiny 2.5×3.5″ art trading cards in the form of hand embellished canvas giclees – each is signed, dated, hand accented & numbered (numbered only #1 of 1, since  only make ONE) in acrylic paint – you can see this new collection of cards (some you have never seen before!) here on eBay.  I’ll be back home in time to mail them out when the auction ends, no delay.

I have been busy at the Epcot festival - it is amazing!  I've also been busy painting - I have three new original paintings to show you (one has sold, but the others are available!), new prints, and also a new figurine collection (suitable for wintry weather!).

HUGE update today!

Firstly, thank you ALL who came to my New York show!  Despite the snow, we had a marvelous time and a fantastic turnout.  Hope to be back in NYC soon =)  All the originals sold at the show, but we’ll be releasing the prints & canvases over the next week, starting with “Soft Shell” here

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has begun!

My first (of seven) personal appearance will be there 5-7pm on Monday January 16th, but my artwork (Disney artwork as well as my personal artwork) will be there for the WHOLE festival at two different tents!  No special tickets needed, you just have to have admission to Epcot.

Both tents with my artwork are near the Canada Pavilion at the World Showcase inside Epcot - the Pop Gallery tent has my personal artwork (my usual prints, canvases, books & decks, etc.) and the WonderGround Gallery tent will have my Disney character artwork! Again, my artwork will be there the whole time, and I personally will be making seven appearances in person throughout the event - sometimes at the WonderGround tent and sometimes at the Pop tent.   For more details & dates visit the individual event pages here here

Happy New Year, everybody!

And what a way to start it off!  I'll be doing my first ever event in New York City this Saturday at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, I'll be there in person for the opening form 6-8pm this Saturday, January 7th.  Details about the event are here (you can scroll further down in this message as well for more info & sneak previews of the new paintings!).

And what a way to start it off!  I’ll be doing my first ever event in New York City this Saturday at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, I’ll be there in person for the opening form 6-8pm this Saturday, January 7th.  Details about the event are here , as well as previews of the upcoming paintings!

In other event news, Disney has added more appearances for me, totaling SEVEN dates now at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts!  Basically I’ll be either at the Pop Gallery tent (with my personal artwork) on some nights and then at the WonderGround Gallery tent (with my Disney character art) on other days.  Click here for event details, I will be there in person on January 16, January 20, January 21, February 10, February 11, February 17 and February 18th.  Super excited!

And finally, California folks – I’m coming to Disneyland!  Saturday March 4th.  Details for this event are here. I’ll be at Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney debuting a new Haunted Mansion painting & prints, my new Ariel/Little Mermaid painting & prints, and… my very first FIGURINE for WonderGround Gallery!

Matt & Jasmine are going to be away visiting their families in Kansas City for the holidays .  We will still be fulfilling orders as usual throughout the holiday season as Jasmine will simply be switching over to our KC studio in the meantime, but holiday visits & travel may cause short delays.   Some items such as the large format Masterpiece Edition Canvases must be shipped from our Florida location, so those will not ship until Jasmine returns to her Florida studio on January 2nd.

And tonight is the night!  My “December Dragons” event is tonight from 6-9pm (Saturday night, Eastern Time) at Pop Gallery at Disney Springs (right next to the AMC theatres) – details and previews of the new paintings are here.  FREE event, free parking, come as you are, all ages welcome.  I’ll autograph anything you bring with you or buy at the gallery.  We’ll have literally van-loads of artwork (been making deliveries for two days now).

I’ll be debuting two full sized new original paintings – “Fruit Dragonling” and “Flower Dragonling”, two new original 5×7″ (9×11″ framed) paintings “Violet Icing” and “Golden Eyed Dragonling,” and a handful of new original mini paintings.  Interested in the originals?  Email popgallery@me.com or -better yet- call them at: 407-827-8200 – let them know you are interested in originals by Jasmine Becket-Griffith. We’ll also have loads of open edition and limited edition canvases, glossy paper photo prints, “Canvas Cuties” (tiny square ready-to-hang wrapped canvases), books, coloring books, figurines, jewelry, oracle decks & other merchandise.
