Another big update this week, boy have I been busy!  =)

Firstly – thank you to ALL of you who came out to Disney last week for my Rey & BB8 Debut!  And I’ll be back again on May 20.  Also – Florida folks – YES I will be at MegaCon (all four days!) in May 25-28th also.  Details on events are here!

Nextly – I have a new original painting for sale!  This is a very special piece, it’s the actual production art painting I painted to create the “Voodoo in Blue” enamel pins.  Very unique collector’s item, this 8×10″ original acrylic painting on panel is up for auction here (and I’m throwing in a FREE Voodoo in Blue pin to go with it of course!).  Click here to see, auction ends tomorrow!

And of course, speaking of pins, we have launched my new line of . Metal & enamel, these turned out GORGEOUS and are only $12.99 and can be shipped worldwide.  The Limited Edition pins are selling fast but we still have some left – go grab one while you can!

In other Disney news, I’m pleased to announce I will be attending Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim this July and will be debuting my next Disney painting – “Princess Aurora” from Sleeping Beauty!  Details about the event and a sneak peek of the sketch for the painting are here!

This of course is my version of the 1665 Vermeer painting - Girl with a Pearl Earring! I've also set her in an interior scene inspired other paintings of Vermeer (I love his windows!).
I did a lot of work on this one, literally hundreds of thin glazes of water & colour. It is challenging using acrylics to replicate an oil painting style but it was a ton of fun.

The original painting sold at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles as part of their "Art Collector Starter Kit" (love that name, lol) - group show. If you'd like to see the original and are in the downtown LA area, drop by the gallery - the show hangs from April 1 through April 29th.

This is the painting I painted "live" as my demonstration piece during my Take Over event at Disneyland (many of you got to see me paint her in person!). The original painting sold, but there are postcards (ranging from $4.95-$10 depending where you buy them), matted 14x18" glossy paper prints ($39.99 - $60), and the fancy big 16x20" limited edition canvas giclees, framed, signed by me & numbered ($350 or so).

These are always so much fun for both me & for the client!

An original 6x6" painting from my Faces of Faery series - so far she just looks as she does in the photo above.  Basically just a rough sketch of her face.  She's on 2"deep cradled masonite board, so she will be ready to hang with no frame needed!

The winning bidder (auction is here) will get to tell me how they want me to finish the painting.  You can choose haircolour/style, eye colour, makeup, skintone, tattoos/jewelry, background, maybe a small pet, theme, wings, maybe it's not a "she" but a "he" - I can do just about anything with this piece at this stage!  You can even send me a photo if you'd like me to match their hair/eyes/skin/likeness as if it's a little Strangeling portrait =)

Another big update today!

Thank you all who came to see me in California - had an AMAZING show.  If you missed me, don't worry - I'll be back for a huge Take Over event in October (27-29th three full days, I'll be able to see everybody then!).  The new Haunted Mansion Vinylmation doll was sure a hit!  She has popped up for sale also now with worldwide shipping here at YourWDWStore (click here and scroll down near the bottom).  Soon she'll also be re-stocked too at DisneyStore.com along with the new "Ariel" and "The Bride Returns" prints & canvases, etc.  I'll let you all know when they pop up, in the meantime you can find them all at Disney's WonderGround Galleries.

Tomorrow - I will be at "our" Disney Springs Saturday March 11 (tomorrow) at the Pop Gallery from 6-9pm! Work-In-Progress!What am I working on now?  A detailed new piece for Corey Helford Gallery!

I got to see several Vermeers in New York at the Frick Collection & at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last month, which re-inspired me =) This painting will be a combination of elements from specific Vermeer paintings - obviously the Girl with a Pearl Earring from 1665 - and I wanted to include one of Vermeer's famous "window" scenes (he did such wonders painting interior scenes lit by windows, I hope I can do it justice), etc.

Much like the old masters, I am painting a fully detailed monochromatic underpainting first and will be adding glazes of transparent paint on top to shade in the colour shortly!

This is going to go to the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles as part of their "Art Collector's Starter Kit" (love that name, lol) - group show and will debut April 1 (the show hangs from April 1 through 29). Unfortunately I can't make it to the show in person, but this painting will be there =) Like all of the paintings at the show, she is 12x12" square on deep 2" cradled masonite (it should be a neat show with all those different squares all with different artists, but all the same size & format!). Original acrylic painting. She will be priced at $3800.

Another big update today!

Thank you all who came to see me in California – had an AMAZING show.  If you missed me, don’t worry – I’ll be back for a huge Take Over event in October (27-29th three full days, I’ll be able to see everybody then!).  The new Haunted Mansion Vinylmation doll was sure a hit!  She has popped up for sale also now with worldwide shipping here at YourWDWStore (click here and scroll down near the bottom).



 Soon she’ll also be re-stocked too at DisneyStore.com along with the new “Ariel” and “The Bride Returns” prints & canvases, etc.  I’ll let you all know when they pop up, in the meantime you can find them all at Disney’s WonderGround Galleries.

Firstly - I am leaving soon for my show at Disneyland in California!  At Downtown Disney's WonderGround Gallery, Saturday March 4 from 11am-1pm. Another big update today!

PLEASE NOTE: Firstly - I am going to be out of the country, in Costa Rica!  Mostly for fun, but also I am going to be researching & taking my own reference photos of insect life there specifically for an Insect themed art show I'll be participating in later this year (July 8, Seattle, Eight and Sand Gallery, I'll be debuting four new paintings and will be there in person!).  At any rate, I will be out of town through February 7.  This won't affect much, just that new orders for limited edition canvases or original paintings will have a short delay in shipping - until I return February 7.  Everything else just ships out as normal.  I will be in the jungle and away from the internet, so emails & messages will be delayed too.  We have a bunch of auctions up at eBay here that I'll return home in time to ship with no delay, feel free to bid as usual!  Etsy, Amazon, Strangeling.com, other eBay, etc. all ships as usual, only slight delays on original paintings & limited editions (as I have to be here in person to ship those).
