"Frost Dragonling"
16"x20" Acrylic on panel $5000 Original Painting SOLDPrints from $9.99 are here

A very special piece I painted LIVE as a demonstration painting at Disneyland's WonderGround Gallery!  It was a lot of fun to paint in front of such a large audience, and I'm very happy with how she turned out.  Frost Dragonling is of course part of my Dragonling series (be sure to check out the matching figurine available from the Hamilton Collection - part of my Dragonling Companions collection), featuring a beautiful dragon fairy and her baby dragon protector.  A nice frosty scene - you can see the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis in the sky as the sun sets in the distance, and there are hints of grass poking up through the snow and ice.  Love the colours in this one!

We have glossy paper prints (signed on the back by me) - $9.99 for 8x10" sized and $19.99 for 12x16" sized, as well as the Limited Edition Canvases (those are hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, signed, numbered out of 25, wrapped on boards & ready-to-hang) which are 11x14" and are priced at $125.  All can be purchased on my website using the drop-down fine art prints options box:

Prints & canvases are also on sale on eBay here and prints are in my Etsy shop toohere

Frost Dragonling is also a figurine! Click here to see her & her sisters, shipping available worldwide!

"Tinker Bell at Skull Rock"
16"x20" Acrylic on panel $6400 Original Painting SOLDPrints, canvases and merchandise available from Disney worldwide!  Details below.

One of the pieces I painted for Disney that debuted during my "Take Over" at the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, CA. Licensed & contracted by Disney, ©Disney, this is my original acrylic painting featuring Disney’s Tinker Bell from the animated film “Peter Pan”. Tinker Bell of course is shown here surrounded by magical pixie dust, accompanying the pirate ship to the mysterious Skull Rock ! Prints, merchandise and Limited Edition Canvases are available exclusively through Disney.

If you are in California, you can get this image in various formats at Disneyland's WonderGround Gallery. In Florida, she's available (or will be shortly) at the WonderGround Gallery there located inside Disney's Marketplace Co-Op in their Downtown Disney / Disney Springs, as well as various other locations at Walt Disney World.

I will be coming to Disney's Marketplace Co-Op in Florida on August 8th and would be happy to sign your Tinker Bell there!

Don’t live in California or Florida? Luckily, Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery is very happy to ship worldwide and takes orders via email at:merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com or by telephone at: 877-560-6477. Just let them know you are interested in Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s artwork from WonderGround Gallery and they would be happy to let you know what is currently available.

Since I'm not a castmember, don't get a discount, and have a very busy traveling schedule, I can’t unfortunately pop over to the gallery to buy these items myself for re-sale. However, many enterprising Californians, Floridians and castmembers have done just that! I’ve created a Collection system on eBay which gathers together authentic Jasmine/Disney merchandise that is on the re-sale market from many sellers, all in one place:

Click here to see Tinker Bell and Jasmine's other Disney artwork currently available from various sellers on eBay!

Painted under contract and with permission for and by the Walt Disney Company ©Disney

My Sugar Skull Girls!!
USA customers here and international customers here

Yes, now available online wherever you are!  If you live in the USA you can subscribe to the entire collection here and if you live in the UK/AU/Canada/ANYWHERE Else In The World -  you can order the first figurine from Burning Desires here (her name is Bright Sofia, the others will be available for International Customers as they are released & imported, probably about once a month).

These are Limited Edition resin figurines, about 4-4.5" high, absolutely adorable, with a Mexican Day of the Dead / Sugar Skull / Calavera facepaint theme. I'm so happy with how they turned out - here are the first four in the series - got mine in the mail & am playing with them in the backyard. They are all so colourful! The first one in the collection is "Bright Sofia" - if you are are a USA customer doing the subscription/collection from Hamilton, she will be the first to arrive. If you are overseas/international and ordering from Burning Desires, "Bright Sofia" has just now popped up, and the others will follow.

Also USA customers can order from Burning Desires if you just want to buy them individually of course. Questions about ordering/shipping/payment/etc. should be directed to whichever company (Hamilton Collection or Burning Desires) - ie, not to the lady who paints the pictures (me! I can only really tell you about pictures, not orders with other companies ;)  Can't wait to get the next ones in the mail!!

"Milagros: Mariposas" 11x15" acrylic painting on panel - original is available at Disney's WonderGround Gallery July 10, prints & canvases from $9.99 available worldwide now HERE

Inspired by the wonderful milagros charms on a lot of the folk art I saw in Mexico last week. This lovely girl has many of them adorning her dress, surrounded by beautiful butterflies. Milagros charms are typically tied with a person's name, with the shape of the charm indicative of the healing/prayer wanted (ie a leg, if somebody is praying for their leg to be healed, etc.). I also saw them used as decorations sewn to clothing, glued to crosses, left at shrines, worn as jewelry, etc. This original painting ($3500) will be available at my "Artist Take Over" this July 10-12th 2015 at Disneyland's WonderGround Gallery in Anaheim, California, and we have prints & canvases available now up at Strangeling.com . I'm intending this to be the first of a series of pieces featuring Milagros!

"Straw Into Gold" is an illustration for the Rumpelstiltskin card in my upcoming Faerytale Oracle deck! This painting illustrates the miller's daughter / princess / future queen character, clutching straw/hay which she is alleged to turn into gold with the spinning wheel behind her. Astute afficianados may notice the Hudson River school landscape of haystacks in the background wink emoticon This original painting will beautifully framed & will be available at my "Artist Take Over" this July 10-12th at Disneyland's WonderGround Gallery in Anaheim, California. First dibs on this painting will be for those attending the event. Not attending the event, but still interested in purchasing the original? I have FOUR new paintings to show you (wow, I have been busy!).  "Alice in the Starry Night" , "Faces of Faery 231" , "Poissons Volants:  Les Poissons Bleus" , and "Poisonous Beauties XIV:  Mandrake Root".  Whew!  All of them are now up at Strangeling.com as prints & canvases.  Enjoy!

"Alice in the Starry Night"
6"x12" Acrylic painting $1600 SOLDPrints from $29.99 are HERE

"Alice in the Starry Night" - part of my very exciting and in-depth "Alice in Other Lands" series that combines Alice in Wonderland with Art History! This piece of course showcases Vincent Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" from 1889. I had so much fun on this one, incorporating Van Gogh's style and colours with my own - you may notice the tips of Alice's strands of hair slowly changing into the starry night behind her... The original acrylic painting has sold, but we do have prints & canvases available now worldwide.

"Alice in the Starry Night" Glossy paper prints (signed on the back by me) are $29.99here - and we also have the Open Edition remarqued canvases popping up there too.  Just select either the paper print or the open edition canvase print option in the Fine Art Prints options dropdown box.

The limited edition canvases are already almost SOLD OUT.  I have only ONE left right here before the final #25/25 Limited Edition Canvas is auctioned off.  Yes, this was INSANELY fast, the fastest I've ever had an edition sell out.  I am sorry they sold out so fast!  Other than that one left on eBay (before the #25 is auctioned), I will also have one of them at Dragon*Con this autumn.

The next best thing are the open edition canvases, also $125, which will pop up any moment at Strangeling.com here under the fine art print options.

Larger open edition canvases (up to 40" wide) will be available shortly from Pop Gallery Orlando.

Prefer eBay?  Click here!

We also have options in our Etsy store here

Click HERE to see the other paintings in my Alice series!

"Poissons Volants:  Les Poissons Bleus"
12x16 Acrylic painting $4500 SOLDPrints & Limited Edition Canvases from $13.99 are HERE

"Poissons Volants" series (French, meaning Flying Fish) that combines my love of sea creatures, surrealism and Rococo portraiture! Les Poissons Bleus translates to "The Blue Fish" and this piece does indeed features several beautiful blue fishies! They are winged fish - as if transforming from fish into butterflies, from the water to the sky. This piece debuted at Spectrum Fantastic Art Live and the original acrylic painting was sold there as well, but we do have prints & canvases available now on mywebsite here

Just choose your print option - $13.99 for 8x10" glossy paper prints, $29.99 for 12x16" glossy paper prints (both sizes signed on the back by me), or also we have the 11x14" Limited Edition canvas prints - those are $125 and are each hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, signed, dated & numbered out of only 25 ever made. The canvases are already wrapped on boards and ready to hang immediately on your wall.

Be sure to see ALL of my different Poissons Volants paintings here

Also in our Etsy shop here

"Faces of Faery 231"
6x6" Custom Acrylic painting $1600 SOLDPrints & Limited Edition Canvases from $9.99 are HERE

This was the result of one of my "custom painting" auctions, where I sold the unfinished painting and the winning bidder got to tell me how to finish her! They chose the haircolour, eyecolour, wings, makeup, etc. and for this piece we included a magic glowing star - turned out super pretty. The original painting of course is sold, but we have 6x6" glossy paper prints (signed on the back by me) on sale for only $9.99 this week. We also have 6x6" Limited Edition Canvas prints for only $75 - these are hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, signed, dated, numbered out of only 25 ever made, wrapped on boards & ready to hang. Both types are up on my website here (just select the type of print you want where it says "Choose an Option" under Fine Art Prints) - we ship worldwide - just click here to see her

Prefer eBay? Click here

Also in our Etsy shop here

This is the 231st installment (that is a lot!!) of paintings in my Faces of Faery series. They are all 6x6 squares and are made to hang in groups! Definitely check out the rest of the Faces of Faery series here!

"Poisonous Beauties XIV:  Mandrake Root"
8x10 Acrylic painting $2500 AVAILABLEPrints & Limited Edition Canvases from $13.99 are HERE

The fourteenth installment in my Poisonous Beauties series – a series of works featuring portraits of faery creatures and various poisonous plants! #14 in this series features the mandrake root – the source of a lot of magic and folklore (used in spells, curses, herbal remedies – all very eyecatching since the root looks rather like a human form!). And they’re apparently a bit poisonous, too!

Eighteen years ago this week I first started my art website.  I can’t believe it has been 18 years!

I promise, I won’t send spam – I just send out little newsletters a few times a month with my latest paintings, projects & events.

At the end of this week (June 14th) I will randomly select THREE winners from the mailing list via random number generator.  I will then contact you and send you your prize – a set of three autographed collector’s books!  Yes – each winner gets ALL THREE hardcover books – an autographed iridescent “Pandora” journal, an autographed “Wisdom of Shadows and Light” art book, and an autographed “Wisdom of the Shapeshifters” art book.  I will sign them and ship one box of books to each of the three winners.

Yes, you can live ANYWHERE in the world!  Please restrict your entry to one email address per person (and if you cheat, all of your entries will be deleted).  If you are under 18 please make sure you have your parents’ permission.

Jasmine's in Mexico! New paintings and new ACEOs!

Updates from Jasmine!

We had a great time in Kansas City at Spectrum!  Now we're off to Mexico!  I'll be in Mexico this next week, celebrating my birthday & researching some upcoming paintings (Dia de los Muertos, and birdwatching for my Birds and Beasties show)

Please note - while I'm away, new orders for Limited Edition Canvases will not be processed until the next shipping day when I'm back (which will be June 8th).  MyStrangeling eBay store is in Vacation Mode, meaning that the fixed price listings have disappeared, reappearing once I'm back home June 7th. Be sure to keep an eye out on my eBay store though, I'll be listing new #01 LE Canvases, and last-chance #25 LE canvases, new ACEOs, etc. as auction listings while I'm gone - and I'll be back in time to ship them all so bid with confidence!

Strangeling.com , Strangeling Emporium on eBay, and our Strangeling Etsy Store will all remain open as usual while I'm gone (the only potential delays are new Limited Edition Canvas orders, everything else ships asap.

I have two new paintings - "Napoleon and Josephine"  and "Stilleven X:  Gouden Kelk" to show you!  Both of the originals sold at the Spectrum show, but we have prints & Limited Edition Canvases available now!

A new batch of ACEO Cards are up for auction! Click here to see those that have already popped up.  More will be popping up in the next few days!  Each is one of a kind, only one ACEO of each painting is ever made.  Trading card sized, hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, bidding starts at a penny each.

Be sure to stay tuned at my Facebook over the next week, I'll be debuting some new prints & paintings (including the newest Poissons Volants, the new Alice in a Starry Night, and the new Poisonous Beauties) and some other fun news!  And for those curious about my trip to Mexico, you may want to follow me on Instagram (my user ID there is Strangeling) - if I can get a cellphone connection out in the jungle, I'll be posting some pics!

"Napoleon and Josephine"
16x20 Acrylic painting $6000 SOLDPrints & Limited Edition Canvases from $9.99 are HERE

"Napoleon and Josephine" - one of the paintings I debuted and sold at Spectrum Fantastic Art Live 2015. This is a history / art history inspired piece featuring of course Empress Josephine - surrounded (almost fangirly) with a bunch of portraits of her husband Napoleon. We just saw a couple of great Napoleonic exhibits recently while we were in the UK and in France, which definitely led me to paint this piece. A very fun pastiche of historical portraiture and my own contemporary spin of course! I'm hoping that this will be part of a larger series for a book on historical figures. Original painting sold at the show, but we have lots of print & canvas options....

The next best thing to the original is the Masterpiece Limited Edition Canvases - only FIVE of these will ever be made, they are full sized (16x20") on the extra deep gallery wrapped canvases, ready to hang, hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, signed & dated, numbered out of five. $595 each, these are available at my website link below:

"Napoleon and Josephine" Prints & Canvases are here

We also have the open edition 12x16" canvas prints for $125 at the link above (just use the drop-down menu). In addition there are the glossy paper prints signed on the back by me - $9.99 for the 8x10"s and $19.99 for the 12x16"s.

Prefer eBay? We have the same options available on eBay here (including the #1 BIG Limited Edition Masterpiece Canvas!)

And also options in our Etsy store here

"Stilleven X:  Gouden Kelk"
8x16 Acrylic painting $3500 SOLDPrints & Limited Edition Canvases from $19.99 are HERE

"Stilleven X: Gouden Kelk" - the tenth in a series of works I have in my Stilleven series that feature "deconstructed" elements of still lifes inspired by the Dutch master painters of the 1500-1600s, along with lovely girls, faeries & nymphs (of course!). Stilleven is Dutch for "Still Life" and "Gouden Kelk" means "Golden Chalice". The ornate golden chalice takes center stage in this one, along with a lot of beautiful flowers and fruits - all popular elements included in famous Dutch still lifes. And of course a beautiful nymph sits amongst it all. This is my own original acrylic painting, hand painted on panel, the original debuted at Spectrum Fantastic Art Live art show and the original also SOLD there, but we do have prints & canvases available now at Strangeling.com

Prints come in just one size - 8"x16" - glossy paper prints are signed on the back by me and are on sale this week for $19.99, Limited Edition Canvases are $125, hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, signed, dated & numbered out of an edition of only 25 ever made - the canvases are also wrapped on boards & ready to hang, wired & all set to hang on your wall immediately.

Both types of prints "Stilleven X" prints are here

Also on eBay here (again, including the #1 Limited Edition Canvas auction)

Click here to see all of the rest of my Stilleven series:

And also options in our Etsy store here

New ACEO Cards Available
I've been working hard on some new ACEO cards!  See them all HERE

All one of a kind!

ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions & Originals.  Each one of my ACEO cards is a tiny trading card sized (2.5x3.5" - just like a baseball card or Pokemon card size) miniature canvas print that I have hand embellished in acrylic paints, signed & numbered #1/1.  This means I really do only make ONE of these cards ever - only one per painting.  Truly unique!  They're a great way to see some of the miniature pieces that debut at overseas shows, special events, etc. - many are made from paintings like my Tiny Treasures which are not even seen on my website.  A great way to start an art collection for those of you who are budget-minded or who don't have (or are running out of!) wall space.

I always auction off my ACEO cards on eBay to give everybody a chance, and start the bidding at just one penny.  I have several ACEO cards up now - check them outhere and again, more will be popping up each night for the next few days!
