No One Forced You To Get Married
one of my coworkers said something like this and it made me think about married culture in the US. his wife had been out of town for the week and he was really excited to go home and see her and we asked if they were doing something special, and he was like “No??? I just missed my best friend.”

Tonight please pray for all the innocent lives that will be lost in Syria due to the airstrike decision which has been agreed upon.
So everyone is clear: The civilians have no escape. The innocent people cannot get out. Governments told them to evacuate or they will die. The ISIL militants have said they will kill every person who leaves their house.
There IS no escape for these people, and the government will try to claim they gave ‘fair warning’ t...
The New York Times starts using'Mx.' and the Washington Post starts using 'they'

Let me help.” And he accepts her help, doesn’t...

L. Frank Baum: “Now I can cross the shifting sands.” Edgar Allan Poe: “Lord help my poo...

I watched Megamind for the first time last night and oh my god. That movie is so incredibly underrated. Like. Within the first ten minutes I was confused as to why it seemed to come and go very quietly whereas Frozen just won’t fucking die. Suuuuch a good film. The animation was GORGEOUS too. It was funny and there are just so many great things about it. It’s really too bad DreamWorks said no sequel. (But we need more Madagascar sequels, amirite???????) Meh,...

apparently modern medieval scholars have no solid idea why there’s so many old paintings of knights fighting snails. Like that wasn’t just one weird painting there’s hundreds of those.
